be

the

father,
we're
thankful
for
this

thankful
for
this
season
of
thanksgiving
and
lord.
We
thank
you
for
the
community.
We
live
in
that
that
puts
differences
aside
comes
together
and
moves
forward
to
make
progress
in
a
civil
way
in
a
way
that
will
hopefully
be
pleasing
to
you.

protection
during
this
season
for
all
of
our
citizens
and
all
the
families,
as
some
may
be
traveling
and,
as
folks
are
together.
Lord,
we
during
the
circumstances
of
a
pandemic.
We
just
pray
that
everyone
would

it

a
safe
way.
We
ask
that
everything
that
is

and
done

would
be
pleasing
in

that

council,
we
do
have
tonight
lowell,
coppert
and
linda
caldwell
here
to
express
their
appreciation
for
our
our
support
of
the
hometown
hero
banner
project,
which
the
banners
went
up
last
month
to
stay
through
stay
through
veterans
day,
and
we
put
them
up
also
in
in
may
to
recognize
those
veterans
and
those
that
lost
their
lives
in
service
to
the
com
to
our
country.
So
I'm
gonna
ask
them
to
come
forward
for
their
presentation.

us
again
as
as
he
said,
we
just
want
to
come
and
say
thanks
this
project
came
to
us
from
a
small
town
in
new
jersey.
Linda
was
up
there
with
her
husband
on
vacation
memorial
day.
A
couple
years
ago
saw
it
thought
it
would
be
a
great
fit
here
in
aitkin.
You
know
we
we
tell
people,
we've
got
roughly
18
000
veterans
that
call
aitkin
county
home.
Those
veterans
are
very
proud
veterans.

The
community
is
very
proud
of
those
veterans
and
it
shows
on
a
daily
basis,
the
things
that
you
guys
have
helped
us
with.
In
the
past
city
of
north
augusta,
we
went
and
recognized
them.
Two
weeks
ago,
at
their
city
council
meeting
they've
been
a
huge
help
in
getting
it
going
down.
There,
aitkin
county
council
kind
of
led
the
way
for
us
and
kind
of
getting
things
going,
but
we
just
wanted
to
come
and
say
thanks
to
all
of
you
for
supporting
it.

We
truly
appreciate
that
the
one
thing
that
we
shared
with
north
augusta
that
I
like
to
share
with
people
is,
as
you
drive
by
you
see,
you
see
those
veterans
and
a
lot
of
them
are
humble
folks
that
you
may
not
have
known
even
serve
that
are
part
of
the
community
and
there's
some
that
prefer
not
to
be
up
there
and
they
probably
will
never
be
up
there,
and
I
appreciate
that
and
I
respect
that
as
well.
But
the
one
thing
that's
come
from
this
project
over
the
last
two
years
that
we've
been
doing.

all

stories
that
flood
in
throughout
the
year,
especially
once
they
go
up.

joked
when
we
started
this
project.
Linda
was
a
little
nervous.
She
said.

we
only
got
22
people
that
are
going
to
do
this
and
I
said
well,
don't
worry
the
aiken
aikens
a
bunch
of
visual
learners
as
soon
as
they
go
up
on
the
polls,
everybody
and
their
brother
will
want
one.

that's
kind
of
come
to
fruition,
but
we
there's
not
a
week
goes
by
that
we
don't
get
a
a
story
from
a
family.
It
could
be
as
far
away
as
california
and
we've
had
some
come
in
from
there.
We've
had
some
from
overseas
of
folks
that
their
family
members
on
the
banner
and
it's
not
the
family
member
themselves,
but
it's
the
family
that
has
reached
out
to
us
and
told
us
how
much
they're
appreciative
of
it
how
they
get
to
honor
their
veteran
all
year.

twice
a

they're
really
proud
of
them.
We
started
a
thing
this
year
with
a
mini
banner
that
they
can
order.
That
looks
just
like
the
one
that's
out
there
for

community

it's

personal
one
that
they
can
take
home
with
them.
They
can
do
whatever
they
wish
with
it,
whether
they
want
to
put
it
on
the
wall
or
you
know,
do
something
at
their
house.
They
can
do
whatever
they
with
whatever
they
wish

So
that's
been
big.

I
beat

guys
up
a
little
bit
last
year
on
veterans
day
so,
like
I
said,
we're
a
proud
bunch
and
we
know
that
the
community's
proud
of
all
those
that
wore
their
uniform
and
will
continue
to
wear

uniform,

think
with
that
being
said,
it's
a
great

a
great
recruiting
tool
for
the
younger
generation,
and
you
know
it's
something
always
to
think
about.

recommend

The
planning
commission
reviewed
these
at
their
meeting
on
november
10th
and
unanimously
recommended
that
each
of
these
properties
be
annexed
and
zoned
residential
single
family.
So
these
three
annexations
are
before
you
this
evening.

do

the
applicant
and
owner
has
recommended
annexation
of
two
lots
with
an
address
of
880
banks
mill
road,
which
is
approximately
2.27
acres.
The
applicant
intends
to
produce
craft
beer
and
specialty
sodas
for
an
on-site,
tap
room
and
small
keg
distribution
for
local
accounts
and
the
applicant
also
envisions
a
family
and
dog
friendly
outdoor
seating
area,
with
food
offered
initially
via
food
truck.

the
property
owner
does
decide
to
expand
the
business,
the
property
would
be
eligible
to
apply
for
planned
mixed
use.
Industrial
zoning,
which
is
only
eligible
for
consideration
for
property,
already
zoned
light
industrial,
but
it
does
require
a
concept
plan
review
by
planning,
commission
and
city
council
should
that
zoning
one
day
be
requested.

planning
commission
considered
the
request
for
the
annexation
at
their
november
10th
meeting
and
unanimously
recommended
the
annexation,
with
two
conditions
that
number
one
there's:
a
transfer
of
ownership
within
90
days
and
number
two.
The
applicants
sign
an
agreement
stating
the
conditions
of
approval
within
90
days,
and
I
also
want
to
mention
at
an
appropriate
time,
mayor
and
council.
We
have
received
two
comments
via
email
through
our
public
comments
address
right
at
seven,
so
at
an
appropriate
time
those
would
need
to
be-
I
guess,
read
into
the
record
after
any.

It
was
very
well
put,
I'm
not
sure
what
else
I
can
add,
except
we're
looking
to
have
a
family
friendly
dog
friendly
craft
beverage
place
adjacent
to
citizens
park.
We
think
it
plays
very
well
into
that
location
with
the
outdoor
activities
that
are
already
going
on,
and
we
think
it
would
be
a
very
nice
addition
for
the
city
of
aitkin
and
like
to
be
a
part
of
the
community
in
that
fashion.

business,
essentially
will
be
across
the
counter
in
our
establishment.
We
do
intend
to
partner
with
a
few
local
restaurants,
but
our
size
is
going
to
be
much
more
similar
to
the
aiken
brewing
company

oscar
blues.
That's
a
a
good
representation
of
the
scale
that
we're
looking
at,
but
as
opposed
to
being
in
downtown
we're
looking
at
being
next
to
the
park
and
really
focusing
on
the
outdoor
entertainment
space.

at
that
address
for
the
past
28
years,
we've
seen
a
couple
of
businesses
come
and
go
in
our
backyard,
but
they
were
friendly
businesses.
They
caused
no
problem.
We
barely
knew
they
were
back
there,
but
now

hearing
as
a
proposal
for
a
new
business
and
a
rezoning
of
light
industry-
and
it's
just
it's
it-
gives
me
worry
simply
because
the
building
is
only
maybe

the

pfeiffer

mutual
friends

business
venture

they
sought
advice
from
someone
in
the
restaurant
industry
as

best
ways
to
go
about
being
a
responsible
and
successful
business
owner.

have
met
on
several
occasions
to
go
over
realistic
expectations
as
well
as
good
business
practices.

seen
an
excellent
display
of
care
and
concern
for
the
community
in
which
they
intend
to
do
business.
They

right
questions.
They
go
above
and
beyond
in
their
efforts
to
succeed,
and
they
have

wonderful
business
plan

built
to
last.

are
people
we
will
personally
be
engaged
in
business
with,
as
timing
allows,

recommendation

inquiry
passed

different
reasons.

don't
think

able

some
apartments
and
some
town
homes
mixed
in
there.

feel
like
the
the
town
homes.
All
townhomes
will
be
a
good
good
connection.

park

still
able
to
preserve
really
a
significant
amount
of
open
space
on
this
one.

will
be
doing
the
tree

some
pretty
significant
trees

it

think
it's
a
good
overall
