1) Approval of Appointments and Discussion of Appointees to Various
City Boards, Commissions, and Committees, Including but not Limited
to, the Recreation Commission.
2) Second Reading and Public Hearing of an Ordinance to Rezone Property at 2265 Whiskey Road and Approve a Concept Plan.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING OF REAL ESTATE
LOCATED AT 2265 WHISKEY ROAD FROM GENERAL
BUSINESS (GB) TO PLANNED COMMERCIAL (PC).
3) Second Reading and Public Hearing of an Ordinance to Annex 5.873 Acres on Jefferson Davis Highway, Zone it Planned Commercial ( PC) and Approve a Concept Plan.
AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE
INTERSECTION OF JEFFERSON DAVIS HIGHWAY AND
ROBERT M. BELL PARKWAY AND TO ZONE THE SAME
PLANNED COMMERCIAL (PC).
4) Second Reading and Public Hearing of an Ordinance to Annex Property on University Parkway, Zone it Single-Family Attached (RSA) and Approve a Concept Plan.
AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX PROPERTY LOCATED ON
UNIVERSITY PARKWAY AND TO ZONE THE SAME SINGLE
FAMILY ATTACHED (RSA)
5) Second Reading and Public Hearing of an Ordinance to Convey a
Portion of the 100 Block of Newberry Street SW to RPM Development
Partners, LLC.
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE CONVEYANCE OF A
PORTION OF THE 100 BLOCK OF NEWBERRY STREET SW TO
RPM DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS, LLC

IV. NEW BUSINESS: Consideration of:
1) First Reading and Public Hearing of an Ordinance to Establish New
Charges for Water and Sewer Service.
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING NEW CHARGES FOR WATER
AND SEWER SERVICE.
2) First Reading of an Ordinance to Set the FY 2022-23 Millage Rate.
AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE LEVY OF TAXES FOR
ORDINARY CITY PURPOSES IN THE CITY OF AIKEN FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2022, SET THE MILLAGE AT
SIXTY ( 60) MILLS AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE EXPENDITURES
THEREOF.
3) First Reading and Public Hearing of an Ordinance to Adopt the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Budget.
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A BUDGET PROPOSED BY THE
CITY MANAGER, CONTAINING ESTIMATES OF PROPOSED
REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES BY THE CITY OF AIKEN FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2022, AND ENDING
JUNE 30, 2023, AND DECLARING THAT IT SHALL CONSTITUTE
THE BUDGET OF THE CITY OF AIKEN.

1) Requests for Banners for Various Events.
2) Request to Approve a Fireworks Display on July 4, 2022, at The Reserve Club at Woodside.
