B) Application CERD24- 001017: Applicant Susan Cain is requesting approval to construct two
additions and conduct various alterations at 1022 South Boundary Avenue SE ( TMP 121- 10- 14-006).
C) Application CERD24- 001013: Applicant Catherine Hersacher is requesting approval to
demolish an existing structure and construct a new dwelling at Williamsburg Street SE, Lot 1
TMP 121- 10- 09- 009).
D) Application CERD24- 001014: Applicant Catherine Hersacher is requesting approval to
demolish an existing structure and construct a new dwelling at Williamsburg Street SE, Lot 2

that
what
we
are
attempting
to
do
is
to
assist
Property
Owners
with
making
changes
to
their
buildings,
houses
and
other
structures
that
are
visible
from
the
street
from
a
public
right-of-way,
and
we
have
a
process
here
where
we
have.

However,
this
shingled
roof
has
been
patched
several
times,
but
leaks
continue
to
be
an
issue
and
it
was
determined
that
roof
replacement
was
necessary.
In
2023,
the
applicants
chose
to
replace
the
shingle
roof
with
a
black
metal
roof
to
match
the
roof
existing
when
her
parents
originally
purchased
the
structure.

contractor
did
not
apply
for
a
certificate
of
appropriateness.
After
being
notified
of
this,
the
applicants
applied
for
retroactive
approval.
The
application
also
notes
that
the
applicant's
plan
to
repaint
the
structure
in
the
existing
color
after
some
wood
repair
is
completed
as
this
is
considered.
Routine
maintenance,
the
wood
repair
and
repainting
in
the
same
color
will
not
require
approval
through
a
certificate
of
appropriateness.
