60s

70s

80s
aren't
typically
are
made
out
of
great
material
like
older
windows.

the
wood
is
just
softer
and
so

not
surprised
this

going
to
serve
them
much
better
and

keeping
the
water
with
a
new
window
well
or
well
right.

would

last
a

and
St
John's
Methodist
Church
purchased
it
in
2001.
While
the
church
originally
used
the
structure
for
kindergarten
classes,
it
has
been
vacant
for
the
past
five
years.
The
applicant
stated
that,
in
their
opinion,
the
stud
brick
veneer
building
does
not
have
any
archaeological
or
historical
value.
The
church
would
now
like
to
demolish
the
structure.
To
allow
for
more
parking,
which
the
church
is
in
great
need
of.
The
proposed
new
parking
plan
would
increase
the
number
of
available
parking
spaces
on
this
parcel
from
15
to
34
spaces.

it's
such

nightmare
in

summer

because
of
all
that
surface
parking.
So
when
you
take
out
any
of
those
trees,
obviously
it's
you're
making
a
mini
version
of
that.

the
fermata
club,
which
is
a
member-owned
club,
roughly
180
members
of
Tennis
and
Swim
and
formerly
rental
uses
of
the
fermata
gym.
As
you
guys
are
aware,
the
fermata
gym
is
a
significant
building
in
in
town
was
constructed
in
1925
or
1929.
Whoever
you
want
to
fight
that
over
the
rear.

This
sitting
room
really
was
just
utilized
during
rentals
as
a
area
to
kind
of
convene
and
so
forth.
Throughout
parties
and
social
and
Etc
there
was
some
damage
into
the
interior
side
of
the
gym.
However,
it
was
not
substantial
due
to
the
the
doors
being
closed,
the
back
portion
of
that
the
sitting
room
area.
The
addition
that
we're
discussing
this
evening,
that
would
be
demolition
has
contained
significant
fire
damage.

tell
it
is
our
our
thought
that
there
is
a
poured
slab
that
will
be
maintained
once
we
do
the
demolition
work
and
we
would
add
some
type
of
safety.
Rail

met
with
fire
captain
Brazier
and
Mike
Jordan,
with
the
building
and
inspections
department
for
the
city,
walk
through
the
site
and
address
kind
of
some
concerns
of
egress
and
Ingress,
and
just
for
full
transparency,
I'm
a
volunteer
firefighter
for
the
city
of
bacon,
so
I
certainly
understand
the
egress
and
Ingress
coming
in
and
out
of
the
Navy
cm4.

There
are
three
potentially
four
exits
on
the
front
side
of
the
building.
If
we
were
to
close
that
back
portion
off,
there
would
be
zero,
so
we
will
maintain
the
current
doors
that
were
significantly
damaged
in
the
fire,
so
both
of
them
being
both
kind
of
French
doors.
So
to
speak,
they
would
be
more
commercial,
look
door
structure
wise,
but
that
would
be
very
accommodating
to
the
actual
building
right.

raise

to
do

renovations

historic
preservation
on

to
require

significant
amount
of

building

who
served

long

no
question
that,
in
my
opinion,
that
there
are

lack
of
clarity
in
a
number
of
places
in

the
ordinance
and
the
wording
could
be
have
been
better,

the
key
requirement
in
almost
a
jurisdictional
level
for
requiring
a
certificate
of
appropriateness.

this
alteration,
demolition

removal

a
small
portion

this
structure

not
visible
from
any
public

board,

my
opinion,
does
have
not

appropriateness
and
again,
the
planning
director
reached
the
same
conclusion.

project

recommendation
from
some
roof
work
that

done

get

have
started

project,
