tried
to
work
through
as

through
different
elevations
submitted

and
that
we're
available
during
the
work

that
balancing
the
zoning
ordinance
with
being
able
to
allow
a
bank
with
the
drive-through
and
the
old,
a
tan
overlay?

do
you
kind
of
hit
that
that
middle,
the
main
issue,
again
kind
of
being
that
if
there
is
a
drive-through
as
allowed
by
the
zoning
ordinances,
that
we
need
a
safe
distance
to
stack
the
vehicle?

work,

kind
of
discuss
with
the
applicant
again.

you
move
it
further

up
with
a
situation

there

no
stacking

blocking
the
sidewalk

get
as
much
of
a
Pendleton
frontage

they

itself

probably

vehicular
traffic

there

able

done
to
soften

front

this

issue

current
property,

good
option
for

Hotel,
Aiken,
one
and

fantastic
time
right
about

time

Great
Depression
hit
both
of
these
facilities
opened
in
their
current
kind
of
configurations.

guess
you

say
most
recent
version

hotel,
Aiken
and
the
Henderson
hotel
it's
kind
of
neither
here
nor
there
as
far
as
this
other
than
is
to
say
that
it
is
a,
although
in
the
old,
a
can
overlay,
historically
notable
structure,
I
guess
is
what
you
would
say.

it's
not
necessarily
to
historic
preservation
standards,
but
I
think
the
architect
architect
is
trying
to
kind
of
keep
in
keeping
with
that
as
best
as
possible.
When
he's
right,
when
he's
been
making
decisions,
so
the

purpose
of
this
building
is
to
repurpose
it
as
the
against
most
recently
a
Regions,
Bank
and
the
city
is,
is
in
the
process
of
purchasing
it
for
the
purposes
of
city,
administrative
offices
which
could
consolidate
this
building's
functions
and
the
former
building
over
and
on
Lauren's.

view
you're
gonna,

mostly
at
least
from
this
perspective
along
Richland
Avenue,
will
mostly
unchanged
that
they're
about
20
feet
back
here

little

feet

There

step

the
new
structure,
but
again
you
can
kind
of
see.
From
this
perspective.

the
current

We
try
to
provide
you
some

kind
of
the
result
with
no
real
transition
that
exists
there
today,
this

new

building
and
then
kind
of
some
examples,
it's
kind
of
a
side-by-side
treatment
of
again
this
is

the

intim
Center,
where
it's
it's?
It
has
none
of
the
Flemish
bond
patterned
against
the

court
tennis
building,
which
does
not.

Interestingly
enough,
this
does
have
some
sort
of
a
diamond
brick
highlight
kind
of
similar
to
the
municipal
building.
We
see
here
on
the
bottom
once
you
get
to
the
entrance
the
entrance,
the
entryway
kind
of
the
archway
into

Performing
Arts
Center
has
a
similar
pattern
to
this.
Actually
I
think
it's
more
like
a
diamond
kind
of
pattern,
but
they
chose
to
do
that
further
over
here.

my

historical
nature

like
to
reiterate
other
than
what

sessions

city

asked
for
their
needs
today

moving
forward

keeping
it
respectful

history

this
downtown

making
it
perform
as

new
building

council

express
interest

seeing

has

decent
job

conforms
more
with

community,

able

this
one

few
buildings
downtown

be
able
to
see
360
from
a
lot
of
activity
from
the
Playhouse
and
around.
So
that's
vitally
important
that
we
have
it
so
that
it's
it
just
looks
like
it's
aesthetically
great
all
the
way
around
so.

this

a
public
building
and
it's
been
part
of
a
public
process.

negotiation.

contract

the

this

kind

not

average

the
driver's
seat

up
executing
the
the
construction

the
building
renovation,
in
this

Essentially
at
some
point
in
history,
the
red-top
property
at
the
corner
of
whiskey,
Road
and
Dupree
was
divided
out
into
various
properties.
This
is
what
I
call
the
back
property.
It's
asked
access
on

far
west
side
here,
Copeland's
Gardens
is
just
across
the
street
here
through
a
drive,
and
then
you
have
a
house
stable
with
paddocks
there
on
the
idea,
so
we'd
call
the
rear
of
the
property.
We
have
a
1965
date
referenced
in
here,
which
was
later
some
building
permit.

saw
and
I
cannot
verify
that,
but
the
biggest
thing
you
need
to
know
is:
most
of
these
buildings
were
constructed
in
the
early
1900s,
it's
a
contributing
property.
What
is
being
proposed
is
that
you
can
see
again
here,
maybe
a
little
bit
better
without
the
tree
cover
the
layout
of
the
property.
So
you
have
the
two
properties
out
front
access
by
a
lane
on
the
the
west
side,
and
then
this
is
the
garage.

a
small
three-car
garage
and
this
is
the
stable,
and
this
would
be
the
addition
being
proposed
to
the
stable,
there's
two
view
down
the
lane.
Although
you
can
see
bits
and
pieces
of
the
property
driving
up
through
there
kind
of
through
windows
and
the
other
two
properties,
I
would
say.
There's
a
lot
of
you
know
mature
vegetation
that
blocks
it
partially,
but
again
we're
not
to
consider
that
you
have
photos
here
of
the
garage
in
question.

that
there's
a
house
tucked
into
the
corner.

diamond
pattern

the

windows

would
they

say
they

not
the
best
of
shape,
as
opposed
to
being
we
didn't
include.

planning

moving

depending

long

rehab
takes.

them
have
deteriorated
most
of
the
windows,
either
won't
open
or
close
and
there's
zero
energy
efficiency
in
those
windows.
The
plan
for
the
rest
of
the
property
is
to
upgrade
all
of
the
things
in
it.
The
first
things
we're
gonna
have
to
do
is
replace
the
roof,
replace
the
HVAC,
replace
the
electrical
completely
and
replace
the
plumbing
completely.

wife

intention

columns
