From YouTube: Animals in Ames
Description
Meet Fluffy, Luna, Harry, and many more animals at the Ames Animal Shelter!
Visit www.amesanimalshelter.org to see all the animals available for adoption.
A
A
Luna
is
about
seven
months
old
according
to
the
previous
owner,
and
then
fluffy
here
is
about
five
years
old.
So
for
a
guinea
pig,
a
little
senior
guinea
pig
here
that
has
a
younger
buddy
here.
These
two
are
very
bonded,
so
they
have
to
be
adopted
together,
very
important
that
they
stay
together
and
can
provide
support
with
each
other.
A
We
also
have
resources,
if
someone's
in
need
of
you
know
some
vet
care
pet
food
things
like
that.
That
they're,
you
know,
maybe
going
through
some
difficult
times,
especially
with
covet
19
going
on.
We
have
a
lot
of
resources
here.
So
if
there's
something
that
someone
needs,
please
call
us
here
at
the
ames
animal
shelter
we
can
help
out.
A
A
But
you
have
small
children,
of
course,
have
to
be
supervised
when
they're
handling
them,
because
they
are
pretty
delicate
creatures
and
we
wouldn't
want
one
of
them
to
get
hurt.
So
I
just
want
to
put
that
out
there,
even
though
they
may
be
good
with
kids
as
a
pet.
A
A
And
our
next
guest
today
is
fenton.
Fenton
is
one
of
several
kittens
that
we
have
available
for
our
adoption
here
at
the
ames
animal
shelter.
I
want
to,
of
course,
encourage
everybody
if
you're
looking
to
adopt
a
pet,
you
want
to
go
to
our
website,
which
is
ames
animal
shelter,
dot
org
on
that
website,
you
can
click
on
the
available
cats
for
adoption
available
small
pets
which
would
be
guinea
pigs,
rabbits.
A
You
can
also
click
on
the
available
dogs
for
adoption,
but
I'll
tell
you
right
now
our
last
dog
just
got
adopted,
so
we
don't
have
any
dogs
for
adoption
right
now,
but
this
is
fenton.
Fenton
again
is
one
of
the
many
kittens
that
we
have.
He
is
about
four
months
old.
He
is
a
neutered
male
and
he
is
ready
for
adoption,
so
he
has
had
all
of
his
age-appropriate
vaccinations.
A
He
has
been
neutered,
he
has
been
microchipped,
he
has
been
tested
for
feline,
leukemia
and
fiv,
also
commonly
referred
to
as
feline
aids.
So
he
is
completely
healthy
and
ready
to
be
adopted.
He's
a
little
shy
right
now,
but
I
tell
you
in
his
kennel:
he
is
absolutely
crazy.
Loves
to
play
just
a
typical
kitten
behavior,
so
he's
being
a
little
camera
shy
right
now,
but
just
a
beautiful
orange
tabby.
A
A
A
And
our
next
guest
today
is
madame
meow.
That
sounds
like
a
bit
of
royalty
here
for
this
little
kitty.
She
is
a
sibling
to
fenton
who
you
just
met.
If
you
look
real
close,
you
can
kind
of
see
a
little
bit
of
fenton's
colors
here.
This
is
a
tortilly
kitty,
a
domestic
short
hair,
tortoiseshell
beautiful
cat,
it's
kind
of
hard
to
see,
but
the
colors
that
I'm
looking
here
is
this
beautiful
orange
mixed
in
with
the
black
and
the
browns
and
the
light
colors.
A
They
are
a
little
camera
shy,
but
again,
very
playful
typical
kittens
that
just
love
to
run
and
play.
They
were
both
playing
with
a
little
ball
inside
their
kennel
into
slapping
her
from
one
end
to
the
next
and
just
having
a
good
old
time.
So
she
is
also,
of
course,
four
months
old
as
a
sibling
to
fenton
we're
not
requiring
that
they
be
adopted
together,
but
we
always
encourage,
especially
for
kittens
that
you
adopt
to.
A
A
The
time
that
they
spend
together
is
very
important
for
their
sociability
and
everything.
So
it's
important
to
keep
these
guys
active
and
having
a
buddy
there
with
them
is
always
a
good
thing.
So,
if
you're
interested
in
possibly
adopting
two
make
sure
you
discuss
that
with
the
staff
again,
that's
always
part
of
our
conversation
we're
doing
our
adoption
counseling.
So
this
is
madame
meow
and
she
is
ready
for.
A
Adoption-
and
our
final
two
guests
for
today
is
harry
and
fred.
Fred
is
the
beautiful
buff
colored
kitty
here.
It's
kind
of
that
muted,
orangish,
color
tan
color,
mixed
together,
beautiful
coloring,
and
then
we
have
the
beautiful
gray
here.
These
two
guys
are
siblings
as
well
both
available
for
adoption
and
are
ready
to
go
so
again
same
thing
with
them:
they've
been
microchipped
tested
had
their
age
appropriate
vaccinations.
A
These
two
were
also
kennel
mates,
so
they
were
also
playing.
This
is
the
morning
time,
so
they're
spending
lots
of
time
playing
and
having
a
good
old
time
and
they're
in
their
kennel,
so
they
are
also
available
for
adoption
and
just
a
bundle
of
joy
as
all
kittens
are
so
if
you're
interested
in
adopting
two
kitties,
these
may
be
the
two
kitties
for
you
again,
they're
very
bonded.
A
A
That's
their
way
of
saying
that
they're,
happy
and
content
and
looking
for
that
forever
home
and
don't
chew
my
microphone,
but
just
the
sweetest
kittens
and
again
if
we
can
get
them
adopted
together.
That
would
be
our
priority.
So
come
on
down
to
the
ames
animal
shelter,
we'd
love
to
introduce
you
to
them
and
see
if
they
might
fit
into
your.
A
A
Well,
that's
our
show.
For
today
you
met
some
of
our
furry
feline
friends
as
well
as
the
two
guinea
pigs
that
are
waiting
for
their
forever
home
here
at
the
ames
animal
shelter.
I
want
to
make
sure
everybody
checks
out
our
website
amesaanimalshelter.org.
A
If
you're
interested
in
adopting
one
of
our
furry
friends,
you
want
to
complete
an
adoption
application
first
and
then
submit
that
online,
and
then
our
adoption
coordinator
will
contact
you
to
schedule
an
appointment.
These
are
kind
of
the
procedures
that
we're
following
now
because
of
the
covet
19
situation.
So
staff
is
here
we
are
taking
care
of
the
animals,
we're
just
doing
things
a
little
bit
differently
when
it
comes
to
the
adoption
process
because
of
covet
19.
A
so
again
want
to
thank
all
of
our
donors
and
supporters
and
the
people
that
adopt
our
animals
from
us.
We
couldn't
do
what
we
do
here
without
you
guys.
I
also
want
to
see
if
everyone
can
check
out
our
website
under
our
statistical
data.
We've
made
some
new
data
available,
so
the
average
length
of
stay
that
every
animal
stays
here
broken
down
by
species,
so
cats,
dogs,
rabbits
and
such
you
can
look
at
all
that
data
on
our
website
again
at
amesanimalshelter.org.
