A
A
He
is
just
I,
have
to
say
one
of
the
best
breed
ambassadors
that
I've
seen
in
my
career.
He
is
just
the
biggest
love
in
the
world.
He
was
surrendered
to
us
by
his
owner,
who
had
some
unfortunate
situations
in
their
personal
life.
They
could
no
longer
care
for
max
max,
actually
lived
with
a
great,
dane
and
another
bully
breed.
A
He
is
really
just
a
sweet
and
gentle
dog.
They
said
he's
about
three
years
old,
he's
really
just
enjoying
that
camera.
There
he's
about
three
years
old
and
he
hasn't
been
neutered
yet,
but
he
will
be
neutered
before
he
gets
adopted
actually
is
scheduled
for
surgery
tomorrow,
but
he
is
just
max
come
here.
A
He
is
just
a
very
gentle
dog
he's
very
curious
about
this
room
because
there
was
lots
of
cat
toys
and
things
that
looks
like
he
could
have
a
lot
of
fun
with,
but
he
is
just
such
a
sweet
and
gentle
dog,
very
good
manners.
He
hasn't
jumped
up
on
things
or
people
that
he's
met.
He
does
get
along
with
other
dogs,
at
least
the
ones
that
he's
been
introduced
to
so
far.
A
But,
of
course,
any
introduction
with
any
animal
needs
to
be
slow
and,
oh
well,
you
know
boom.
It
needs
to
be
a
slow
introduction
and
done
in
a
safe
environment.
So
he
is
just
solid
muscle
and
again
just
a
very
sweet
dog
that
we
are
looking
for
a
home
for
again.
This
is
max
he's
a
staffordshire
terrier.
He
is
about
three
years
old
and
he
is
scheduled
for
his
neuter
surgery
tomorrow,
so
he'll
be
able
to
go
home
immediately
after
his
surgery.
A
A
And
our
next
guest
today
is
Romeo.
Romeo
is
a
beautiful
I
believe
it's
an
angora
lop
I
have
to
study
a
little
bit
better
on
my
my
rabbit
breeds,
but
I
believe
is
an
angora
lot
and
this
bunny
came
in
to
us
in
really
bad
shape.
You
can
kind
of
see
here
where
we
had
to
shave
him
down.
Actually
when
he
got
neutered,
his
hair
was
completely
matted
up
and
with
all
long-haired
animals.
They
need
a
lot
of
brushing
and
that's
very
true
with
rabbits
as
well.
A
If
they're
in
coat
here
is
not
kept
brushed,
then
they
can
Matt
up
really
easy,
and
especially
with
bunnies,
it's
just
it's
easy
for
them
to
get
him
skin
infections,
if
they're
not
kept
brush
and
well
maintained,
so
he
came
into
us
as
a
stray.
We
had
known
or
information,
he
was
just
kind
of
running
around,
and
so
we
got
him
cleaned
up.
We
got
him
neutered
and
now
Romeo
is
available
for
adoption.
I
always
talk
about
rabbit,
org
anytime.
We
have
rabbits
up
for
adoption
at
the
aim
shelter.
A
A
We
have
a
set
up
here
that
we
like
to
show
people,
that's
the
appropriate
environment,
for
them
to
be
in
that
gives
them
plenty
of
space
to
run
around
with
in
your
home,
so
they're
still
contained
because
there's
lots
of
things
you
need
to
do
to
bunny
proof
your
house,
they
like
to
chew
on
wires.
So
having
them
chew
on
your
lamp
cord
is
not
a
safe
thing
for
the
bunny,
so
we
want
to
make
sure
that
doesn't
happen.
So
there's
lots
of
information
again.
A
If
you
want
to
do
some
research
before
you
come
down
and
meet
Romeo
rabbit,
org,
it's
an
easy
website
to
remember
is
the
best
place
to
get
that
information.
Is
the
house
rabbit
society's
website
and
again
a
lot
of
information
for
adopters,
especially
if
you've
never
had
a
bunny
before
I'll
say
that
they're
not
a
pet
for
everybody?
There's
they
really
do
have
special
needs.
They
have
special
diets
that
they
need
that
they
need
and
they
also
not
all
vets.
I
will
typically
look
at
exotic
animals
and
they
do
consider
bunnies
to
be
exotic
animals.
A
So
you
want
to
make
sure
that
you
have
a
vet
that
understands
rabbit
medical
needs
and
issues,
and
there's
a
few
here
that
are
in
Ames
that
we'd
be
happy
to
refer
people
to
the
do
surgeries
and
also
know
a
lot
about
rabbit
care
and
health.
So,
if
you're
interested
in
meeting
Romeo
do
some
research
at
rapid
org
and
then
come
on
down
to
the
shelter,
we
would
love
to
introduce
you
to
him
and
talk
about
the
special
needs
that
all
bunnies
have
and
it's
so
important
to
their
survival
and
well-being.
A
And
our
final
guest
for
today's
show
is
Felicity
now
Felicity
has
actually
been
adopted.
The
reason
why
I
brought
on
a
kitten
is
to
talk
a
little
bit
about
the
start
of
kitten
season.
Felicity
is
just
one
of
the
many
kittens
that
will
come
in
this
year,
probably
close
to
over
a
hundred
based
on
our
statistical
data
that
is
on
our
website,
but
felicity
is
fortunate
enough
to
have
a
home
and
she's
actually
I'm
going
to
be
going
home
with
one
of
her
siblings.
A
So
we
were
able
to
talk
two
of
them
out
together,
so
they'll
be
able
to
keep
each
other
company
she's
a
little
squirming
here
in
this
room.
She's
been
in
this
room
to
play
so
she's
kind
of
wondering
why
I'm
holding
her
and
not
letting
her
go
play
with
the
toys
that
are
on
the
floor.
Thank
you.
She
is
a
gorgeous
kitten,
she's
kind
of
a
medium
haired
kitten.
A
We
would
call
her
beautiful
black-and-white
patterns
there,
but
again,
I
really
wanted
to
show
a
kitten
just
for
the
fact
that
so
many
kittens
will
be
coming
into
the
Ames
animal
shelter
and
all
shelters
around
the
story.
County
shelter,
the
boon
humane
society
and
the
Animal
Rescue
League
are
all
shelters
if
you're
looking
for
a
kitten
that
in
the
next
few
months,
are
going
to
be
overwhelmed
with
kittens,
but
you'd
never
never
want
to
forget
the
adult
cats.
It's
so
important
to
not
forget
those
and
overlook
those
kittens
come
with
a
lot
of
behavior
challenges.
A
Sometimes
they
like
to
run
up
your
curtains
and
jump
on
things
and
knock
things
over
and
that's
just
part
of
the
growing
up
kind
of
like
kids.
But
felicity
is
just
a
beautiful
kitten
here.
All
of
our
kittens
are
adopted
when
they're
at
least
eight
weeks
old,
they're,
all
spayed
and
neutered
before
they
go
home
and
they're
all
given
at
least
their
initial
vaccinations,
hopefully
assume
we
will
be
doing
microchipping
and
other
things
that
we
want
to
include
with
our
adoptions.
But
at
this
point
we're
not
doing
that.
A
So
that
would
be
something
you'd
have
to
have
done
at
your
own
bet.
So
again,
plus
city
has
been
adopted,
so
this
one
is
not
available,
but
we're
going
to
have
lots
more
coming
your
way
here
at
the
shelter.
So
if
you're
interested
in
kittens,
you
can
go
online
to
see
which
animals
are
available
for
adoption
and
our
website,
which
is
aims.
Animal
shelter,
org,
real,
easy
name
to
remember:
ames,
animal
shelter,
org
and
you
can
see
the
animals
available
for
adoption
and
again
in
the
next
few
months.
A
A
So
that
was
the
animals
for
it.
Today
you
had
one
dog
one
rabbit,
that's
typically
the
three
species
that
we
have
here
at
the
shelter
the
most.
So
that's
just
a
sampling
of
what
we
have
available
for
adoption
again
check
out
our
website
at
ames,
animal
shelter,
org,
and
you
can
always
see
the
animals
available
for
adoption.
I
wanted
to
say
a
special
thanks
this
morning
to
the
Ames
fire
department
in
the
Ames
police
department,
I
was
called
out
in
the
early
morning
hours.
A
There
was
a
terrible
fire
here
in
Ames
the
department
complex
and
they
were
able
to
rescue
a
cat
that
belonged
him
one
of
the
units
and
when
I
arrived
on
the
scene,
the
one
of
the
Ames
police
officers
was
using
the
fire
truck
and
giving
the
cat
oxygen
really
happy
to
report
that
the
cats
going
to
be
fine.
It
did
have
some
some
smoke
inhalation.
It
also
have
burnt
the
bottom
of
the
pads
of
the
feet,
but
those
are
going
to
be
injuries
that
are
going
to
be
dealt
with
and
cared
for.
