city

Biloxi

To
give
you
an
update
on
the
FEMA
funded
infrastructure
repair
program
in
the
city
of
Biloxi.
The
infrastructure
program
is
comprised
of
the
repair
of
over
426
000
linear
feet
of
sewer
main
485,
000
linear
feet
of
water,
main
320,
000,
linear,
feet
of
storm
drainage,
removal
of
30
lift
stations,
the
repair
of
43
lift
stations,
replacement
of
over
100
miles
of
Street
Paving.
A
As
of
today,
the
city
has
completed
more
than
279
million
of
the
more
than
355
million
dollar
infrastructure
program
and
currently
has
41.3
million
in
active
construction,
of
which
19.3
million
remains
under
construction.
In
our
St
Michael's
project
area,
an
additional
22
million
is
under
construction
in
the
Beau
wall
project
area,
which
is
adjacent
to
Highway
90
between
the
bees,
Road
and
Veterans
avenue.

The
St
Michael's
project
under
a
general
contractor
Nikes
Brothers
Construction
company,
is
now
complete,
with
the
Deep
30
inch
sewer
main
on
Howard
Avenue
from
Oak
Street
to
Holly
Street,
with
Holly
Street,
representing
the
furthest,
most
Point
West.
By
the
limits
of
this
project
area,
DK's
construction
to
now
focus
on
completing
the
installation
of
water
and
sewer,
Mains
adjacent
to
Highway
90
and
the
service
road
between
Holly,
Street
and
Street,
after
which
the
contractor
will
install
new
24
inch,
sewer
main
on
Holly
Street
north
of
Howard
Avenue.

All
the
way
up
to
the
CSX
railroad
contracts
continues
to
install
new
drainage
pipes
and
drainage
structures
on
Clay
Street,
Richmond,
Drive,
Pearl,
Street,
Shell,
Street
and
Fowler
Street,
all
north
of
Howard
Avenue,
and
also
has
now
begun
on
Rosetti
Street.
Please
be
mindful
of
the
detour
around
Rosetti
Street.
Due
to
this
construction
activity.

Moreover,
another
crew
installed
the
24
inch
sewer
main
between
Ocean
Club,
Drive
and
Treasure
Bay
Casino
work
continues
for
the
Jack
and
bore
operations
of
a
24
inch,
steelcation
adjacent
to
Treasure,
Bay
and
Crews
continue
to
install
water,
sewer
and
drainage
on
Brady
Drive.
Additionally,
new
case
of
gun,
installing
new
sewer
main
on
the
Service
Road
South
of
Highway
90
near
Treasure
Bay.
