Project superintendent John Cowart with Oscar Renda Contracting, the firm rebuilding and replacing infrastructure covering 55 miles of streets north of the CSX railway in east Biloxi, provided this update on the project.

give
a
progress
update
on
Back,
Bay
Boulevard,
starting
at
key
and
Bayou
headed
east,
all
the
way
to
Oak
Street.
We
have
just
completed
the
final
surface
code
of
asphalt
on
Division
Street
on
the
east
end
of
the
project.
We've
also
completed
another
round
of
paving
starting
at
Crawford
Street
headed
west
to
penny,
excluding
the
section
of
Division
Street
between
penny
and
stron
gob.
New
Division
Street
should
be
paved
from
stron
G
to
Lee
Street.

On
the
west
end
of
the
project.
At
the
intersection
of
division
and
Calvet,
we
have
completed
the
installation
of
all
the
new
utilities
and
are
now
heading
east
on
Division
Street
and
are
closing
in
on
the
intersection
of
radar.
With
the
new
gravity
sewer,
we
have
also
completed
the
base
ice
fault
in
the
intersection
of
division
and
Calvet.
The
installation
of
the
new
sewer
on
Division
Street
should
be
complete
by
the
end
of
summer.
On
the
Iroquois
ground
and
Thelma,
we
are
close
to
being
complete
with
the
installation
of
the
new
train
structures.

Once
this
work
is
complete,
we
will
begin
the
installation
of
the
limestone
Bates
which
will
follow
with
asphalt.
We
anticipate
this
work
to
be
complete
in
the
next
month
on
the
following
west
end
of
the
project
north
of
division.
We
are
working
to
complete
the
drainage
and
drainage
structures
on
the
following
streets:
Cherokee
Columbus,
al
boa
Frank,
Pete,
Corso,
Park,
Circle
and
LaSalle.
Work
on
these
streets
should
be
complete
by
the
end
of
the
summer.
