From YouTube: Boise Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting
Description
September 16, 2021
A
Okay,
all
right,
I
would
like
to
call
to
order
the
lazy
parts
and
recreation
commission
monthly
meeting
for
thursday
september
26
or
september
16th.
Excuse
me
2021.
A
It
looks
like
our.
We
need
to
do
attendance
carter
here
here
right
here.
A
C
A
A
B
A
B
E
Madam
president,
commission
members
great
to
see
your
faces,
thank
you
for
dialing
in
today,
even
though
we
just
had
a
very,
very
short
agenda,
just
a
couple
items
we
need
to
get
approved
and,
as
you
all
know,
our
philosophy
is
to
not
bring
you
into
large
long
meetings
just
to
be
here.
So
we
want
to
make
sure
we
have
things.
A
E
Do
or
we
can
you
know.
E
Productive
time
with
you
so-
and
I
appreciate
your
flexibility,
we
decided
with
the
the
mayor's
state
of
the
city
going
on
this
afternoon
that
it
was
a
good
time
to
move
it
up,
and
so
I
appreciate
your
flexibility
to
do
this
at
noon
today.
So
again,
thank
you,
I'm
hoping
that
you
know
we'll
have
more
of
a
full
agenda,
I
think
in
our
october
meeting.
So
we
look
forward
to
that.
E
Hybrid
obviously-
and
I
think
you're
all
aware
of
the
latest
orders
coming
out
of
the
mayor's
office
for
this
week,
so
we've
been
scrambling
around
to
try
to
make
those
orders
fit
within
the
assets.
We
have
that
we
have
a
large
number
of
user
groups
out
there
that
are
depending
on
direction
from
us
and
how
the
new
orders
affect
them.
So
we
spent
the
last
couple
of
days
getting
all
those
things
ironed
out.
I
feel
pretty
good
about
where
we're
all
at
with
all
that.
E
So
if
you
hear
anything
out
in
the
community,
please
direct
them
to
us,
but
I
think
we've
got
a
pretty
good
handle
and
pulse
on
all
the
different
leaders
of
all
the
user
groups
that
utilize
our
facilities
and
we've
been
visiting
with
them
the
last
few
days,
so
I
think
we're
all
in
really
good
shape.
Moving
forward,
unfortunately,
hearing
the
the
crisis
with
our
hospitals.
Now
that
came
out
today.
E
What
that
holds
for
us
moving
forward
in
the
next
couple
of
days?
My
guess:
is
there
probably
be
some
more
action
that
the
city
may
take
depending
on
what
the
state
decides
to
do,
but
we
will
always
be
in
a
league
role,
I
believe,
as
as
a
city,
so
just
kind
of
stay
tuned,
but
if
you
get
any
any
of
our
leaders
in
our
user
groups
out
there
that
maybe
reach
out
to
you
for
any
reason,
just
send
them
our
way.
E
I
don't
think
that
will
happen,
but
in
case
it
does
just
send
them
our
way
and
we'll
we'll
take
care
of
that
for
them.
I
do
want
to
welcome
our
newest
commissioner.
I
see
is
on
the
call
today,
sherry
baber.
Am
I
saying
that
correctly,
sherry.
D
E
Thank
you.
Yes,
thank
you
for
joining
us.
Sherry's
appointment
was
confirmed
by
the
council.
I
believe
tuesday.
E
Fellow
commission
members,
as
you
see
around
you,
they're
awesome
people,
they're
big
supporters
of
parks
and
recreation
in
the
city
of
boise
conservation.
You
know
our
preservation
efforts.
We've
got
a
little
bit
of
everything
on
our
commission
and
so
we're
I've.
Looked
at
your
background.
You
are
a
perfect
fit
sherry
for
for
our
team
here.
So
again,
warm
welcome
for
you
and
chloe
will
forward
your
resume
out.
E
So
they
can
get
a
flavor
of
your
background
and
so
again
appreciate
you
jumping
on
board
with
us
today,
and
we
look
forward
to
seeing
you
again
in
october
and
and
so
yeah
welcome
aboard
and
thank
you
guys.
Madam
president,
I
don't.
A
Have
anything
else?
Okay,
then,
do
I
have
a
motion
to
adjourn.
B
B
D
E
You
call
for
vote,
sherry,
we're
a
very
informal
group
here,
just
and
so
you're
gonna
fit
right
in.
I
think
within
this
with
this
informal
group
that
we
have
and
so
we're
not
stuffy
at
all
and.
D
E
Our
jobs
right
there,
that's
all
of
our
drawings
and
so
and
then
what
we'll
do
in
the
october
meeting
sherry's
we'll
do
a
quick
round
about
with
every
all
the
commissioners
they'll
introduce
themselves.
Tell
you
a
little
bit
about
what
they
do
and
those
kinds
of
things
we'll
we'll
tackle
that
in.
