I'm
Jonathan
Daniel
during
the
July
23rd
council
meeting
Boulder
City
Council
declared
a
climate
emergency.
This
comes
in
response
to
increasing
concerns
over
the
accelerating
impact
of
climate
change,
committing
Boulder
to
an
accelerated
effort
to
address
climate
change.
Boulder
has
strengthened
its
commitment
to
address
climate
change
during
the
July
23rd
special
council
meeting
and
study
session
city
council
unanimously
declared
a
climate
emergency
so.

Information
on
climate
action
and
the
city's
goals
can
be
found
at
Boulder
Colorado
gov
forward,
slash
climate
community
members
will
also
be
able
to
find
more
information
on
the
climate
mobilization
action
plan
thanks
to
collaborative
effort
between
neighbors,
the
city
and
other
community
partners,
traffic
and
the
melody
catalpa
neighborhood
is
slowing
down.
Thanks
to
this
creative
idea,
North
boulders
melody
catalpa
neighborhood
has
a
new
art
piece
painted
by
the
neighbors
themselves,
but
this
colorful
mural
serves
a
different
purpose
than
what
some
may
think
in.
A
Members
from
the
melody
catalpa
neighborhood
decided
to
think
outside
the
box
to
slow
down
traffic
at
the
intersection
of
16th
and
chromium.
This
was
made
possible
thanks
to
the
city's
paint,
the
pavement
program,
a
program
that
allows
mural
painting
on
public
streets.
This
was
also
in
cooperation
with
various
city
departments
and
the
community
organization
want
an
organization
dedicated
to
activating
art,
the
neighborhoods
and
building
community.
The.
E
Way,
I
envision,
the
collaboration
is,
you
know,
almost
like
we
have
a
full
organism
in
Boulder,
so
in
transportation,
we're
sort
of
like
the
physical
aspects
of
that
we've
got
the
library
and
the
Arts
Council's
involved,
as
sort
of
like
the
the
mind
or
the
brain
behind
it,
and
then
we've
got
these
really
cool
community
organizations
that
feels
like
the
heart
of
the
neighborhood.
It's.

Decided
to
do
a
mural
of
a
catalpa
tree,
so
it's
a
trunk
that
comes
up
from
the
south
to
sort
of
show
the
roots
growing
in
downtown
Boulder,
and
then
it
comes
up
and
it's
a
big
catalpa
tree
with
bees
in
it
and
then
around
that
around
the
edge.
We
have
the
mountains
that
show
the
Flatirons
and
everything
as
they
are,
as
the
view
is
from
our
neighborhood,
which
is
really
fun
to.

Main
way
is
via
land
travel
on
boats,
but
fishermen
can
also
spread
aquatic
nuisance
species.
We
ask
all
of
our
fishermen
coming
through
our
front
gates.
If
they
have
any
live
aquatic
bait,
if
they
do,
they
have
to
have
a
receipt
from
a
certified
bait
dealer
that
is
within
the
last
seven
days.
City
staff
hope.

A
H
Think
a
county
fairs
a
part
of
our
history.
It's
part
of
our
tradition.
Everybody
remembers
as
a
child
being
raised
and
getting
to
go
to
the
county
fair
once
per
summer,
and
so
I
think
it's
good
for
our
youth
and
our
kids
and
I
know
that
parents
bring
their
children
back
to
just
experience
that
County
Fair
feeling
and
what
really
goes
on,
and
it's
really
a
true
tribute
and
a
salute
to
agriculture.
