A
Thank
you.
So
tomorrow
we'll
have
the
long
meeting
the
workshop
meeting
about
forum
engineers
project
we
were
blessed
to
have
the
project
directors
from
the
Corps
actually
share
the
project
with
us
from
their
perspective
and
then
mark
Wilbert
will
pick
up
them
there
and
I'll
share
a
lot
of
information
by
the
discipline.
The
Sydney
city's
perspective,
so
that'll
be
a
long
meeting,
but
a
really
important
one
tomorrow.
So
everybody
at
3
o'clock
we're
going
to
try
to
start
on
time,
because
we've
got
a
lot
of
room
to
cover
on
that
one.
A
F
Evening,
mr.
mayor
members
of
council,
all
objectives
for
code
19
remain
the
same.
It's
been
a
busy
day
as
I
know.
Y'all
are
well
aware,
with
the
weather.
During
today's
severe
weather
and
heavy
rainfall,
the
public
safety
operations
center
was
activated
virtually
special
thanks
to
Tracy
McKee,
who
threw
together
very
quickly
a
meeting
for
us.
We
got
traffic
and
transportation,
stormwater
Public,
Service,
Pio,
Emergency,
Management
police
fire
all
together
within
just
a
few
moments.
F
They
were
very
quick
on
the
response
and
we
got
that
call
set
up
and
we're
able
to
start
managing
this
weather
event
let's
eat.
During
the
storm.
There
was
a
peak
of
25,
Road
or
partial
lane
closures
associated
with
flooding,
Charleston
Fire
Department
reported
at
least
19
flooded
cars.
Some
rescues
were
reported
along
with
the
observation
that
some
cars,
that's
that
had
stalled,
were
driving
around
barricades
on
one.
F
C
F
Million
Kovach
cases,
1.5
million
and
93
thousand
119
deaths
as
a
5
p.m.
today.
According
to
Dax
last
report
at
4
p.m.
Tuesday,
9,000,
56
cases
and
399
confirmed
deaths,
we
haven't
they
to
get
the
updated
number
for
today.
Yet
the
latest
DHEC
report
states
Charleston
County,
had
a
total
of
515
cases
and
11
confirmed
deaths
with
at
least
212
of
those
cases
having
occurred
within
the
city
of
Charleston
Berkeley
County.
There
are
currently
203
reported
cases
and
15
confirmed
deaths
attributed
to
code
19
and
dr.
Richardson's
update
today.
Charleston
County
is
testing.
F
Positivity
rate
currently
stands
at
3.2
percent,
which
is
just
under
the
statewide
average
indicating
that
Charleston
County
continues
to
perform
wide
and
wide
well
and
widespread
testing.
Dr.
Richardson
did
indicate
the
case
rates
across
the
state
have
shown
some
gradual
increases
since
May
8
explained
that,
while
the
rise
may
be
from
the
significant
volume
of
testing
now
being
conducted
across
South
Carolina,
we
should
continue
to
closely
monitor
the
data
for
additional
increases.
F
Always
collection
routes
remain
caught
up
in
public
service
continues
to
run
their
routine
routinely
scheduled
routes
in
the
last
48
hours.
The
Police
Department
has
responded
to
the
three
calls
for
large
gatherings
or
crowds,
and
the
Fire
Department
responded
to
28
calls
for
medical
assistance
in
the
last
48
hours.
F
There
are
currently
no
reported
issues
of
police
or
fire
lacking
PPE
with
1264
employee
employees
accounted
for
and
14
of
15
departments
reporting
on
Monday
May
18th.
There
were
43
percent
in
office,
nine
percent
working
from
home,
thirty-nine
percent
in
the
field
and
nine
percent
on
some
type
of
leave.
As
a
430
today,
calls
to
the
citizens.
Services
desk
reached
over
300
total
calls.
For
the
day
the
majority
of
these
calls
were
received
during
and
after
the
storm
with
residents,
reporting,
flooding,
clogged
drainage,
ditches
and
storm
drains
Charleston
Area,
Convention
and
Visitor's
Bureau.
F
A
I
appreciate
that
chin
I
must
note
that
today
is
whether
we
normally
have
a
good
bit
of
notice
from
weather
forecasters
and
this
the
intensity
of
what
happened
today
was
was
was
unexpected
work
for
me.
I,
don't
think
we
got
an
alert
from
the
National
Weather
Service
about
a
potential
tornado
to
really
almost
the
last
minute,
though,
it
was
a
little
bit
of
a
surprise.
I
didn't
want
to
share
with
y'all
it
kind
of
they
had
part
of
all
this.
It's
balletto,
as
you
know,
got
canceled
until
next
year.
A
A
Porch
oh
and
threw
up
with
a
cup
of
confetti,
so
we
have
officially
started
or
a
starting
day
after
tomorrow,
Spoleto
at
home
and
so
for
our
citizens
for
free
for
17
days,
Spoleto
usa.org
they'll
be
able
to
use
some
of
the
best
times
for
lateral
performances
that
have
been
reported
over
the
years
chamber.
Music.
A
A
preview
of
the
opera
Omar,
which
is
based
on
a
Charleston
story
of
a
enslaved
African,
who
was
Muslim
and
and
was
brought
to
Charleston,
and
it's
a
remarkable
work
that
will
have
to
wait
till
next
year
to
see
the
full
show,
but
there's
a
preview
of
that
I
think
it
was
playing
Friday
night
online,
so
that
might
be
of
interest.
It
was
really
tied
in
with
part
of
our
three
hundred
and
fiftieth
birthday
anniversary,
as
well
as
this
that
was
commissioned
just
for
Spoleto
of
this
year.
Omar.
A
But
anyway,
we
all
have
chamber
music.
Some
symphony,
some
gas
and
in
our
citizens
can
maybe
get
a
little
left
of
the
spolano,
even
though
we're
doing
it
at
home
and
then
lastly,
I
just
want
to
share
I.
Think
you've,
probably
ever
thought
already,
that
the
governor's
order
came
out
this
afternoon,
allowing
attractions
to
open
starting
this
Friday
I
think
at
4
o'clock.
So
the
aquarium,
the
folks,
had
the
aquarium
by
the
way
work
with
the
accelerate
South
Carolina
committee
to
come
up
with
the
guidelines
for
opening
attractions,
and
so
they're
very
thoughtfully
done.
A
We've
taken
those
guidelines
that
kind
of
a
made-to-order
for
for
the
aquarium
and
for
attractions
and
have
been
working
this
week
with
the
convention,
Visitors
Bureau
and
our
tourism
businesses,
notably
the
the
towards
encouraged
tours,
and
we
feel
like
we've
gotten
to
a
good
place
like
we
have
with
the
restaurants
for
guidelines.
Our
employees
will
be
educating
and
monitoring,
but
it
will
really
be
self
enforced,
along
with
our
assistance
and
and
and
they'll,
be
able
to
open
up
the
business
as
well
coming
Friday
afternoon
at
4
o'clock
for
the
governmental
but
safely
but
safely.
E
Sir
said
that
last
part,
you
said
that
all
the
tours
we'll
be
able
to
able
to
open
at
4:00
p.m.
as
well
that's
my
understanding,
because
I
saw
that
he
had
mentioned
walking
tour
specifically,
but
I
figured
that
the
carriage
tours
would
fall
under
some
of
those
outside
activity
guidelines
city
in
mention
we.
A
G
I
was
just
I'm
going
to
request
that
you
send
us
a
copy
of
whatever
guidelines
you
can
share
mayor
so
that
we
can,
you
know,
be
educating
our
own
people,
especially
if
they're
gonna
be
consult
on
customers,
or
you
know,
visitors
back
in
town,
especially
I'd
like
to
be
able
to
tell
people
what
to
expect.
Okay.
A
It
may
be
the
end
of
the
day
tomorrow
before
I
can
do
that,
because
we
are
tweaking
a
few
more
things.
I
just
saw
my
inbox,
the
latest
revision
from
the
CVB
that
they
responded
to
some
of
our
comments
yesterday.
So
a
little
bit
of
a
work
in
progress,
but
by
the
end
of
the
day
tomorrow
we
should
have
they.
A
C
Guist
Marin
prolong
it,
but
on
Thursday,
I
have
another
meeting
at
five
o'clock
so
and
the
RPC
Commission,
so
I
might
have
to
lead.
If
we
all
go
along
with
the
net
on
Thursday
we're.
