A
Boy
I
had
a
know
for
four
years.
You
know
this
is
our
training
field
so
anytime
we
come
here,
I'd
like
to
do
something
with
him,
so
if
you
bring
it
so
in
his
mind,
we're
gonna
work
on
something
and
it's
always
fun.
The
first
quality
that
we,
like,
probably
the
most
important,
is
it's
got
to
be
a
social
dog.
So
you
know
sociability
is
very,
very
very
important.
Then
we
look
for
a
dog
that
has
a
hot
Drive.
You
want
a
dog
that
will
work
his
tail
off.
Basically
to
get
that
task
complete.
A
We
have
13
patrol
dogs
and
then
we
have
a
bloodhound.
The
patrol
dogs
are
either
cross
trained
for
narcotics
or
explosives.
You
know
in
Charlotte.
The
biggest
thing
is
for
us.
When
we
respond
to
a
call,
is
patrol
needs
to
set
up
a
perimeter,
and
our
dogs
are
trained
to
to
track
that
person
and
if
we
can
contain
them
in
a
perimeter
we
can.
The
dog
can
find
them,
but
we're
gonna
find
them.
The
dog
is
a
game
changer.
The
dog
may
make
that
person.
Think
I
don't
want
to
get
bit
by
the
dog
I'm.
A
Not
I'm
not
doing
this,
and
so
a
lot
of
things
may
not
have
happened
because
the
dog
was
there.
I
have
been
doing
this
for
so
long
I.
Just
can't
think
of
ever
doing
anything
different
and
I've
got
eight
years
left
and
I
counted
as
though
I've
got
one
one.
More
dog
I'll
retire
Danno,
probably
next
year,
and
then
my
next
dog
will
take
me
to
my
retirement
and
I
just
love.
It
there's
just
nothing,
there's
just
nothing
better.
