C
What
to
say
to
our
dear
friend
Tom,
so
I
was
thinking.
I'll
try
to
I'll
make
this
chart,
but
I
do
want
to
share
just
a
little
bit
so
Tom
I
always
say
that
Tom
and
I
that
coven
made
Tom
and
I
quit
friends
for
those
of
you
who
don't
know
I
took
over
as
superintendent
in
January
of
2020.
So
you
all
know
what
happened
a
couple
of
months
later,
kova
hit
the
city
of
Chelsea
and
on
March
9th
I
ended
up
closing.
C
Actually
this
school
as
the
first
time
and
I
closed
it
at
nine
o'clock
at
night,
some
people
were
already
asleep,
I.
Think
Tom.
You
must
have
woken
up
to
a
message
from
me
or
an
email
from
me
that
I
had
posed
the
school
and
I.
Don't
know
where
Mary
Burke
is
my
predecessor.
Thank
you.
Mary
I
call
Mary
like
Mary
I,
don't
know
what
to
do
to
help,
but
so
Mary
was
extremely
healthy.
Health
and
people
have
a
lot
of
questions
and
I.
C
Remember
the
next
day
that
I
the
superintendent's
office,
who
were
filming
calls-
and
there
was
criticisms
because
we
opposed
to
school
at
night
and
I
was
in
tears
and
I
went
upstairs
to
Tom
was
a
big
office
and
he
just
looked
at
me
and
he
said:
you're
gonna
be
okay,
you
made
the
right
decision
and
I
knew
then
and
there
that
Tom
would
be.
My
friends
and
I
was
just
so
grateful
and,
like
I
said
covet
just
allowed
us
to
really
Bond
quicker
than
I.
C
Think
most
superintendents
and
city
managers
do
then,
the
next
day
we
had
another
I,
don't
know
Paula.
Thank
you.
There
was
a
covid,
you
guys
remember
presumptive
positive
case
in
the
city
and
in
one
of
our
schools
again
and
I'm
like
I,
don't
know
what
to
do.
I'm
sitting
with
my
leadership
team
and
I'm,
like
let's
call
Tom
and
I
think
Tom.
You
had
just
been
briefed
on
covid
from
the
Mayors
and
the
city
managers
and
I'm
like
Tom
I,
don't
know
what
to
do
we're
thinking.
C
So
we
sent
out
a
letter
together
saying
that
we're
the
closest
schools
for
two
weeks,
which
then
became
a
deeper,
so
I
just
want
to
say
thank
you,
Tom
Tom
I,
don't
know
what
I
would
have
done
without
you,
I
had
just
gotten
started
and
you
just
were
such
a
rock
and
an
anchor
for
me
and
I'm
so
grateful
so
that
was
quite
a
year
and
during
that
year
I
saw
Tom
work
tirelessly
during
that
time,
Tom
you
did
an
amazing
job,
taking
care
of
the
city
of
Chelsea
and
the
people
of
Chelsea.
D
C
F
Mr
ambrosino
I
will
keep
this
super
short
too
Chelsea
needed
a
leader
and
you
were
there
for
us,
so
we
thank
you
for
supporting
our
schools,
our
students
and
our
families
during
the
most
difficult
times.
So,
thank
you.
Thank
you.
A
At
this
time
we
have
some
State
officials
go
ahead
to
present
my
colleague
on
the
Chelsea
City
Council
on
the
elected
state
right
here
with
Garcia
a
long
time
friend
from
previous
representative
of
Chelsea
and
Jessica
come
forward.
Please
thank
you.
G
G
E
G
With
either
if
it
was
the
non-profit
organization
or
the
Chelsea
city
council,
you
always
LED,
you
were
always
humble.
You've
always
had
that
open
door
policy,
you've
always
been
attentive
and
you've
made
excellent
decisions
in
hiring
a
staff
that
is
representative
of
our
community.
So
for
that,
I
thank
you
and
what
amazing
opportunity
it
is
now,
seven
years
later,
that
I
am
the
first
Latina,
the
first
representative
for
the
city
of
Chelsea,
to
close
it
out
by
presenting
you
with
a
official
citation
from
the
House
of
Representatives.
Here.
G
And
representative
Danny
Zion,
who
is
not
with
us
and
I,
think
that
is
so
symbolic
of
how
three
of
us
three
state
representatives,
signed
this
document
who
have
been
here
working
with
you
to
make
Chelsea
a
better
place.
So
thank
you.
Tom
ambrosino
for
your
leadership
I
know
that
many
of
the
lessons
that
I
learned
with
you
I
will
carry
with
me.
So
I.
Ask
you
to
please
join
us,
as
our
state
representative
denino
will
be
reading.
G
I
Thank
you.
Thank
you,
representative,
Garcia.
What
an
exciting
and
sad
day
for
the
city
of
Chelsea-
but
you
know
I,
was
thinking
about
Utah
as
I
was
driving
here
today
and
I
can't
remember
a
time
in
my
life
without
thomasino,
when
I
was
growing
up
in
the
city
of
river
garage
there
and
as
I
began,
the
Massachusetts
state
house
of
the
Cities
I
represented.
So
it's
been
a
real
pleasure
to
watch.
I
You
grow
in
all
these
roles
that
you've
served
with
such
Grace
and
when
you
think
of
the
characteristics
of
a
leader
Tom,
you
Encompass,
all
of
them
your
compassion,
your
kindness,
your
your
way
of
handling,
really
difficult
situations
with
Grace,
your
thoughtfulness
and
how
pragmatic
you
are
and
the
way
you
look
at
situations.
Chelsea
was
really
lucky
to
have
you
over
here.
I
was
really
lucky
to
have
you
in
our
report
system.
I
So
I
will
read
this
on
behalf
of
the
three
Representatives
two
former
from
the
city
of
Chelsea
and
representative
Ryan
does
send
to
his
regards.
He
has
an
engagement
in
Boston
with
us.
I
The
Commonwealth
of
Massachusetts,
the
House
of
Representatives,
hereby
known
to
all
that
the
Massachusetts
House
of
Representatives
offers
its
sincerest
congratulations
to
Thomas
G
ampresino.
In
recognition
of
your
seven
and
a
half
years
of
service
as
city
manager
to
the
city
of
Chelsea
through
steadfast.
I
Extends
its
very
best
wishes
and
expresses
The
Hope
For
Good
Fortune
in
the
future,
with
continued
success
in
all
Endeavors,
given
this
13th
day
of
January
at
the
State
House
in
Massachusetts,
signed
by
Speaker
of
the
House
Ronald
Mariano
and
three
state
representatives,
myself,
representative
Dan
Ryan
state
representative
for
the
city
of
Chelsea,
Team
Garcia.
Congratulations.

H
M
You
very
much
this
new
face
of
government
represents
something
in
addition
to
just
changing.
Demographics.
I
really
get
the
sense
that
there's
a
renewed
optimism
about
what
city
government
here
in
Chelsea
can
accomplish
for
its
residents.
The
time
is
right
and
I.
Think
all
of
us
feel
that
way
to
take
this
good
fortune
that
we
have
and
start
investing
in
heavily
in
our
residence.
D
P
O
B
A
Q
B
Q
A
little
bit
of
Chelsea
from
each
department
under
HHS,
but
notably
the
Chelsea
Senior
Center
quilting
group
handmade
this
beautiful
quilt.
For
you
hand
stitched
put
together
by
Hands
by
98
year
old
hands,
so
the
commodity
of
the
quilt
is
just
as
valuable
as
maybe
a
Chelsea
or
better
Chelsea,
Club
I
know
those
are
very
distinguished,
but
I
have
to
say
that
the
the
craftsmanship
in
the
quilt
just
speaks
volumes
of
how
much
you
meant
to
HHS
in
the
senior
center,
so
with
much
gratitude
and
appreciation.
Thank
you
for
your
service.
Q
A
We
do
have
something
for
Tom
our
city
manager,
presented
by
all
the
people
who
are
here
tonight
a
special
thanks
to
all
the
school
of
Chelsea
from
Rick
Costa.
H
A
M
So
the
very
little
I'm
about
to
say
is
never
going
to
measure
up
to
how
grateful
I
am
to
what
you've
done.
For
me
tonight,
I
really
am
touched
by
the
kindness
that
you
showed
me
tonight
and
the
entire
time
I've
been
here
as
city
manager.
I
do
want
to
just
thank
the
wonderful
students
to
perform
tonight
the
school
department,
the
people
who
hold
this
all
together.
M
Thankfully
I
wasn't
involved
because
I
probably
would
have
nicked
90
of
them,
but
I
know
let
Lourdes
and
Mike
and
and
Olney
and
Leo
and
I'm
sure
many
others
were
involved
and
I
just
want
to
express.
My
sincere
thank
you
to
I've
said
this
to
a
lot
of
people.
The
last
couple
of
weeks,
but
believe
me,
it's
it's
true.
I
have
absolutely
loved
being
the
city
manager
of
this
city.
I
have
enjoyed
this
city
so
much
every
day
that
I
woke
up
for
the
last
seven
and
a
half
years.
M
M
I
really
have
just
loved
serving
the
people
of
the
city.
Everyone
has
been
so
good
to
me
in
my
time
here.
I,
you
know
I
feel
like
we
did
accomplish
a
lot
of
good
things
in
the
last
seven
and
a
half
years,
but
honestly
it
would
not
have
been
possible
without
the
people
here,
my
city
councils,
all
the
various
councils
from
the
first
one
that
selected
me
until
the
one.
M
Currently
there
now
have
been
incredibly
supportive
of
me,
they've
rare,
very,
very
rarely
have
they
attempted
to
interfere
or
undermine
or
reject
something
that
I
was
proposing
to
them,
even
if
probably
they
really
think
it
was
such
a
good
idea,
but
they
were
so
wonderful
and
trusting
of
what
I
was
trying
to
do
and
I'm
so
grateful
to
it.
The
community-based
organizations
here
I
couldn't
have
accomplished
anything
that
we
did
without
the
support
of
those
community-based
organizations
and
I
see
the
leadership
of
many
of
them
here
tonight
and
I'm.
M
So
grateful
I,
don't
want
to
say
any
news
because
I'll
forget
someone
and
feel
really
bad
about
it.
But
you
know
what
you
who
you
are
and
you've
been
wonderful
to
work
with,
and
it's
been
such
an
honor.
The
city
is
so
blessed
to
have
incredible
community-based
organizations
like
way
more
than
any
other
city
of
our
size
has,
and
it
really
makes
this
place
a
special
event,
but
finally,
just
the
the
Resonance
of
this
community.
M
They
were
always
such
a
pleasure
to
work
with
and
they
always
made
even
though
I
do
not
live
in
Chelsea
and
never
have
they
always
made
me
feel
like
this
was
my
home
and
they
welcomed
me
with
open
arms
and
so
I
just
want
to
tell
you.
I
am
going
to
miss
this
place.
So
much
I
said
to
the
judges
that
were
interviewing
me.
I
said
when
they
asked
me
how
I
was
going
to
feel
I
said
I'm
going
to
grieve,
leaving
the
city
of
Chelsea,
because
I
felt
it
was.
M
It
is
such
a
special
special
course
and
I
felt
I
was
always
doing
God's
work.
It
just
made
me
feel
so
good
to
serve
the
people
of
this
community.
So
I'm
going
to
stop
there.
I
know
there
are
some
refreshments
who
are
all
excited
to
get
to
it.
I
just
want
to
tell
you
how
grateful
I
am
to
each
and
every
one
of
you
and
to
let
you
know,
I
am
going
to
miss
you
all
very,
very
much
so
thank
you.
