From YouTube: School Committee Meeting of 6-7-23
Description
City of Chelsea, Chelsea Public Schools
A
All
right,
I'm
calling
the
meeting
to
order
at
703
good
evening,
everyone.
It
is
so
great
to
see
all
of
these
beautiful
faces
in
the
crowd,
and
so
it
is
a
pleasure
to
see
everyone.
B
A
Welcome
to
the
last
meeting
of
the
year,
can
you
believe
it?
We
made
it
after
a
cold
graduation,
but
we
are
here
and
and
I
can't
wait
to
celebrate
you
all
this
evening.
For
starters,
do
I
have
a
motion
to
approve
the
minutes
of
the
regular
meeting
on
May
4th.
C
A
A
D
Thank
you,
I'm
very
nervous,
I,
don't
like
Mike.
You
got
this,
so
my
name
is
Sarah
Harrington
de
Blasio
I
started
at
Chelsea
High
School
12
years
ago,
as
a
history
teacher
for
Bridge
Academy
in
2019
I
received
the
inaugural
butterfly
award
for
creating
the
language
for
teachers,
programs
that
ran
from
2014
up
until
this
year
when
I
was
on
maternity
leave,
so
it
did
not
run
this
year
as
well.
D
As
for
my
Innovative
way
of
incorporating
discussions
into
my
ESL
history,
classroom
I've
also
worked
with
and
given
professional
development
around
language
development
multiple
times
at
both
Harvard
and
Stanford
universities
and
in
complete
transparency.
I
am
yet
another
experienced
educator
who
is
looking
at
potential
job
opportunities
elsewhere,
I'm
here,
because
I
think
it's
important
to
share
some
of
the
ramifications
of
the
current
hiring
practices
by
some
members
of
the
leadership
team.
D
Last
year,
when
applying
for
a
Coach
position,
I
was
told
quote:
we
need
people
who
won't
push
back
unquote.
This
has
not
just
been
applied
to
multiple
coaching
positions
at
the
high
school,
but
has
also
applied
to
lead
positions
at
the
high
school
examples
of
this
quote:
pushback
by
coaches
and
leads
have
included,
advocating
for
bathroom
doors
to
be
closed,
so
students
could
have
privacy
advocating
for
group
learning
before
implementing
school-wide
initiatives.
D
This
aversion
to
pushback
has
continued
in
the
hiring
practices
this
year
and
has
limited
the
hiring
of
qualified
people
to
full
roles
that
have
remained
empty
and
has
filled
some
positions
with
less
qualified
applicants
in
the
lead
and
coaches
positions.
Disagreements
and
discussions
had
been
encouraged
by
past
leadership
teams,
because,
even
if
we
didn't
all
100
agree
in
the
end,
we
had
all
together
gained
a
deeper
understanding
and
were
able
to
carry
out
and
implement
the
initiative
together.
Even
if
we
did
not
all
agree
now.
D
However,
rather
than
valuing
dialogue
and
group
learning,
if
there's
any
voice
disagreement
or
if
there's
not
automatic
compliance,
then
there
are
permanent
personal
and
professional
consequences,
because
positions
have
been
left
unfilled
or
filled
by
less
qualified
individuals
than
in
previous
years.
Teachers
are
not
receiving
high
quality.
D
Pd
I
was
told
on
one
PD
day
to
just
go
to
my
room
for
four
hours,
because
nothing
had
been
planned
for
me,
that
was
in
September,
there's
an
inability
to
explain
school-wide
initiatives
without
going
back
to
slideshows,
to
read
directly
what
the
information
said
and
there's
also
an
inability
to
differentiate
professional
development
for
a
veteran
and
new
teachers
and
barring
the
English
language
coordinator.
No
one
in
leadership
has
been
able
to
support
the
incorporate
Corporation
of
Wida
standards.
D
What
I'm
most
disheartened
by
is
that
by
leaving
Physicians
unfilled,
not
hiring
the
most
qualified
and
experienced
applicants
and
promoting
compliance
over
dialogue,
the
education
of
our
students
is
and
will
continue
to
suffer.
If
we
truly
cared
and
valued
Chelsea
students
and
their
education,
we
would
put
egos
away
and
hire
people
who
have
the
best
skills
and
qualifications
for
the
job.
Chelsea
Educators
deserve
better
and
way.
More
importantly,
Chelsea
students
deserve
way
better
and
congratulations
to
all
the
amazing
students
here.
I
am
really
sorry
about
about
how
I
started
the
meeting.
D
Please
don't
let
that
take
away
from
your
accomplishments.
You
are
all
absolutely
incredible
and
I
wish
I
could
stay,
but
I
have
an
eight-month-old
at
home
that
needs
food.
So
I'm
really
sorry,
but
congratulations
to
all
of
you
and
I
do
apologize
for
the
way
I
started
this
meeting.
Thank
you.
Thank.
A
F
F
Sure
Mr
this
is
from
School
Committee
Member
Sean
o'rigan
I
would
like
to
thank
Joe
Cooney
and
his
crew
for
all
their
hard
work
on
setting
up
the
graduation
without
them
graduate
graduation
day
would
not
be
possible.
Thank
you
for
all
your
hard
work.
A
G
So
we're
going
to
go
ahead
and
get
started
and
I'm
gonna
have
actually
miss
Dreyer
Medina
call
up
our
schools
and
each
principal
will
go
up
and
share
about
their
Student
of
the
Year.
We're
very
excited
to
hear
and
learn
about
our
students
of
the
Year
from
every
school.
This
is
one
of
our
more
celebratory
times
of
the
year,
so
Veronica
did
the
Berkowitz

Blanca
we're
going
to
go
ahead
and
start
with
you
from
our

our
principal

from
the
Berkowitz
elementary
schools.
A
H
Good
evening,
everyone
this
award
of
student
of
the
year
is
presented
to
Stu
Stephen
Cuba's
rice
Stephen
is
Mr.
Vega
could
not
be
here
to
present
this
award,
so
I
will
read
a
message:
Mr
Vega,
yes
for
Stephen,
oh
there
he
is.
H
Stephen
is
an
active
participant
in
his
classroom
and
school
events
and
he's
always
supporting
his
peers.
He
is
caring.
Nature
and
personality
allows
him
to
work
well
with
others
in
a
team
setting.
He
always
respects
others
opinions,
even
when
they
are
different
than
his
own.
He
demonstrates
openness
and
empathy
for
the
feelings
and
perspectives
of
others.
He
has
sensible
power
of
observation
equality
that
makes
him
an
outstanding.
As
a
student
at
the
Berkowitz.
We
are
certain
that
Stephen's
going
to
continue
to
do
great,
creative
things
in
the
future.
H
J
I
I
I
Abigail's
classmates
and
teachers
recognize
Abby
as
a
quiet
leader
who
makes
her
school
Community
better,
but
you
don't
have
to
take
just
our
word
for
it.
We
asked
her
teachers
going
all
the
way
back
to
second
grade,
to
share
some
things
about
what
makes
Abigail
so
worthy
of
this
honor,
so
Mrs
Chasse,
your
second
grade
teacher
remembers
Abby
is
a
sweet,
friendly
and
helpful
student.
She
says:
Abby
has
a
smile
that
lights
up
the
room
she's
the
type
of
person.
Her
peers
can
always
count
on
for
support
a
kind
word
or
help
with
a
problem.
J
That
smile
and
that
kindness
has
also
made
an
impression
on
her
science,
teacher,
Miss
Mitchell
and
her
art
teacher
Miss
paragas,
who
note
Abby,
is
a
positive
role
model
for
other
students
and
a
caring
friend
to
others.
She
has
a
welcoming
presence
that
ensures
everyone
feels
included
in
whatever
activity
is
happening,
both
in
class
and
during
after
school
activities.
Like
Girls
on
the
Run.
She
always
has
a
smile
on
her
face
and
a
positive
attitude
that
emanates
to
others.
J
She
is
a
helpful
and
kind
student
with
a
very
creative
mind:
Abigail
isn't
just
kind
and
caring,
though
she
is
also
a
hard-working
scholar,
her
fourth
grade
teachers,
Senora
Castillo
and
me.
While
we
said
that
it
has
truly
been
a
pleasure
to
be
Abby's
teacher
this
year,
she's
insightful
curious
and
always
ready
to
push
her
learning
to
the
next
level.
Abby
always
perseveres
and
does
everything
with
Excellence.
She
is
always
ready
to
participate
and
work
as
a
team
player,
whether
she
is
memorizing,
the
50
States
Song
and
performing
it
for
the
class.
J
So
she
actually
does
have
a
lot
of
experience,
standing
in
front
of
groups
and
doing
scary
things
or
tackling
a
multiple
paragraph.
Essay
Abby
is
always
ready
to
take
on
a
challenge
with
a
smile,
and
we
think
that
her
third
grade
teacher
Senora
baganza
speaks
for
all
of
us
when
she
says
Abigail
will
go
far
in
her
studies
and
I
know
she
will
have
a
successful
future.
Abby
keep
up
the
good
work,
making
your
parents
proud
and
embracing
your
roots.
We
are
so
proud
of
you.
K
Good
evening,
everyone
I'm
Charlene
Clark,
the
principal
of
the
hooks
school
and
I,
am
incredibly
honored
to
present
our
student
of
the
year
to
Layla.
That's
it
right.
Lila
I
always
want
to
give
her
a
different
name,
but
it
is
Lila
ronic.
So
she
wants
to
come
on
up
for
where
I
know,
I
saw
her
come
on
up.
K
One
of
the
things
that
is
so
important
at
the
Hook
school
is
we
talk
about
being
respectful,
responsible
and
cooperative,
and
we
had
a
really
hard
time
choosing
a
student,
but
when
I
saw
that
the
name
was
that
this
was
our
student
of
the
year.
She
just
is,
it
respects
were
responsible
and
Cooperative
all
the
time.
So
her
teachers
are
here
to
talk
about
who
she
is.
L
Teachers
this
year
in
fourth
grade
Lila,
embodies
the
characteristics
of
a
model
Folk
School
student.
She
is
as
principal
Clark
was
saying,
respectful,
responsible
and
Cooperative.
She
strives
to
do
her
best
in
school
every
day
and
she
is
a
thoughtful
friend
and
classmate
to
others
as
well.
This
is
Lila's
reputation
at
the
Hook
school.
L
She
is
known
among
staff
and
students
as
someone
that
you
can
count
on
and
will
offer
help,
no
matter
every
situation.
She
is
Dependable
kind,
generous
and
intuitive.
Having
her
in
her
class
in
your
class
is
truly
like
having
a
co-teacher
I
have
mistaken
her
for
another
teacher
in
our
class.
So
many
times
in
our
classroom,
Lila
sees
the
strength
of
every
student.
She
is
quick
to
point
out
the
successes
of
others
and
cheer
on
her
peers
when
they
need
encouragement.
L
She
is
also
willing
to
step
in
and
help
a
classmate
who
needs
support
when
we
are
recently
working
on
researching
for
our
fourth
grade
biography
project.
She
noticed
up
here
at
her
table
who
is
struggling
to
read
on
their
own,
and
she
noticed
this
peer
was
feeling
discouraged.
She
walked
over
to
them
and
without
any
prompting,
sat
down
and
started
reading
the
page
for
them
and
then
was
encouraging
them
to
keep
on
going.
This
is
just
one
of
the
many
examples
of
Lila's,
incredibly
kind
and
selfless
attitude.
M
In
addition
to
caring
about
others,
Lila
also
takes
great
pride
in
her
own
work.
Lila
approaches
all
of
her
academic
activities
with
intention.
She
comes
to
the
classroom
each
day
with
an
incredible
attitude.
A
positive
mindset
and
a
willingness
to
learn
Lila
often
asks
her
teachers
for
feedback,
because
she
is
constantly
looking
for
ways
to
make
her
work
better
for
Lila.
It's
not
enough
to
just
finish
an
assignment
she
wants
to
keep
working
until
she
does
it
the
best
she
can.
M
Finally,
when
we
asked
Lila's
classmates
why
she
was
deserving
of
this
award,
one
classmate
said
she
always
offers
to
help
and
puts
others
before
herself
and
is
very
respectful.
Another
classmate
said
she
works
hard
and
treats
everyone
how
you
want
to
be
treated.
She
is
very
helpful
and
an
amazing
human
Lila
has
been
such
a
bright
light
in
the
Hook
school
during
her
time
here,
and
she
couldn't
be
more
deserving
of
this
award.
We
know
that
all
of
these
amazing
traits
and
qualities
will
bring
her
great
success
in
middle
school
and
Beyond.
Congratulations,
Lila.
G
B
Hello,
everyone,
my
name,
is
Mary
Yee
I
am
the
fourth
grade.
Multilingual
educator
at
the
sokolowski
school
I've
had
the
pleasure
of
working
with
our
Student
of
the
Year
this
year
in
school
and
also
out
of
school
as
her
coach
on
Girls
on
the
Run.
So
we
are
super
excited
to
present
the
silk
Pulaski
student
of
the
year
to
Angie
salmarion
Franco.
N
Good
evening
my
name
is
Liz
Martin
and
I'm
Angie's
fourth
grade
teacher
and
I'm
so
excited
to
be
here
to
celebrate
her
being
recognized
as
the
sokolowski
student
of
the
year
tonight.
Angie
embodies
what
it
means
to
be
a
sokolowski
shark
in
and
out
of
the
classroom
by
exemplifying
our
school's
building
blocks
to
success.
N
She
consistently
brings
positivity
and
enthusiasm
to
the
classroom
while
simultaneously
showing
hard
work
and
self-control
she's
a
role
model
in
our
classroom
and
always
shows
friendship
and
loyalty
to
her
peers.
Angie
encourages
others
to
strive
to
be
their
personal
best
and
is
always
willing
to
work
and
help
any
of
her
classmates.
N
N
Some
other
accomplishments
she's
achieved
this
year,
include
facilitating
one
of
our
school
meetings
reading
to
a
first
grade
classroom
and
having
her
artwork
featured
at
Boston,
University,
I'm,
so
thrilled
to
see
her
achieve
another
huge
accomplishment
tonight
in
earning
this
award.
Sokolowski
School
cannot
wait
to
see
what
else
Angie
achieves
in
her
future.
Congratulations.
We
are
so
proud
of
you.
O
O
When
we
were
talking
with
our
teachers
about
who
they
were
going
to
choose
and
how
we
were
going
to
get
to
our
Student
of
the
Year
became
clear
very
quickly
that
it
was
going
to
be
rahama.
Miss
McCormick
shared
with
us
rahama
is
one
of
the
funniest
most
thoughtful
students.
I
have
ever
had
the
pleasure
of
working
with
she's,
not
only
a
brilliant
reader,
writer
and
thinker,
but
her
character
is
unimpeachable.
She
forms
connections
with
nearly
every
person
she
meets
and
we
are
all
better
for
knowing
her
and
having
her.
O
As
a
member
of
our
community.
I
will
miss
her
dearly
next
year,
but
I
am
so
excited
to
see
the
impact
she
has
as
she
Cupid

into
Chelsea

School.
She
has
an
incredible

ahead
of
her
Miss
Gannon
shared
that
rahama
represents
the
best
of
Chelsea,
she's,
brilliant,
hard-working
and
a
born
leader,
she's,
very
proud
of
her
family
and
her
culture
and
best
of
all
she's
a
community
Builder.
She
includes
peers
from
all
different
social
groups
and
backgrounds
to
build
strong
and
positive
senses
of
community
at

P
Lastly,
Mr
Carney
shared
rahama
is
a
reliable
friend
student
and
role
model.
She
carries
her
inescapable
sense
of
humor
into
every
room.
She
enters
and
invites
others
to
share
her
positive.
If
often
sarcastic
view
of
the
world.
She
wears
her
successes
with
pride,
but
isn't
too
proud
to
admit
when
she's
wrong
setting
a
great
example
for
others.
Often
this
takes
the
form
of
her
laughing
at
her
own
mistake.

attest
to
being
the
recipient
of
some
of
these
jokes
that

smile
every
time
you

ever
before.
In
my
eight
years
of
teaching,
this
comparison
speaks
not
to
the
challenges
That
Others
May,
face
when
taking
on
the
difficult
task
of
learning
a
new
language,
but
to
the
determination
and
steadfastness
of
Johan
behind
us
Beyond.
His
academic
capabilities
John
has
constantly
demonstrated
his
kindness
and
his
care
for
others.
Typically,
Johan
is
the
first
to
introduce
himself
to
one
of
our
new
students
and
quickly
is
able
to
put
them
at
ease
during
their
first
day
in
a
new
school
in
a
new
country.
Q
John
has
often
tasked
himself
with
taking
these
new
students
under
his
wing
until
they
understand
the
systems
and
procedures
at
Clark,
Avenue
Middle
School.
Despite
the
challenges
that
come
with
being
a
teenager.
Being
in
Middle
School,
moving
to
a
new
country
and
learning
a
new
language,
Johanna
has
always
remained
Resolute
in
creating
his
future.

Good
evening,
everyone,
my
name,
is
Michelle

I
am
the
principal
of
the
Wright
Middle
School
and
joining
me
are
Damon
Bailey
our
grade
8
English
language,
arts,
teacher
and
Claire
Flores.
Our
grade
8
science,
teacher
and
I
am
so
proud
of
you,
Zach
Zachariah
mubitasim
is
our
eighth
grade
student
of
the
year.
S
I
have
had
the
pleasure
to
be
not
only
his
science
teacher,
but
his
homeroom
teacher
this
year,
and
we
are
so
very
proud
of
Zechariah
Zach-
has
set
himself
apart
this
year,
show
an
effort
and
integrity
beyond
the
exceptions
of
expectations
or
of
a
typical
eighth
grader.
Every
teacher
Zechariah
has
had
will
tell
you
that
he
is
extremely
hard-working.
Consistently
puts
his
best
interests
of
others
ahead
of
his
own.
He
is
a
friend
to
all
and
his
peers
respect
him
greatly.
S
S
Zach
is
a
proud
leader
in
many
facets
of
our
school
Community
First.
This
year,
Zach
has
been
a
member
of
the
National
Junior
Honor
Society,
whereas
he
has
been
involved
in
fundraisers
and
other
community
events.
He
is
also
a
class
representative
of
the
student
council
where
he
has
organized
school
events,
led
younger
peers
in
community
service
and
advocated
for
student
needs.
T
Hi
I
am
Damon
Bailey
at
the
8th
grade,
ELA
teacher
at
the
right
and
I've
had
the
privilege
of
teaching
Zach
for
two
years,
and
I
can
say
that
Zack's
dedication
to
his
community
goes
beyond
the
classroom,
as
he
exudes
school
spirit
through
his
involvement
in
his
many
activities
as
he
can.
This
year's
Zach
joined
the
CHS
varsity
baseball
team
as
they
seek
to
build
a
foundation
for
their
future
and
is
a
long-running
member
of
the
school
band
where
he
plays
the
trombone.
T
He
exudes
school
spirit
and
will
try
to
get
involved
in
as
many
activities
as
possible,
and
we
know
that
he
will
go
on
to
do
great
things.
He
can
overcome
any
challenges
that
comes
way
and
he's
ready
to
embark
on
his
high
school
Journey.
We
are
so
very
proud
of
you,
Zach
and
your
future
teachers
will
be
just
as
lucky
as
we've
been
good
luck
in
all
that
you
do
in
the
future.
T
G
U
Thank
you,
Dr
Roberta,
good
evening.
Everyone
miss
messini,
the
principal
at
our
virtual
learning,
academy
or
cvla,
wanted
me
to
get
across
to
everyone
here
that
she
was
devastated,
that
she
couldn't
be
here,
but
she
is
quite
ill
and
she
also
has
no
voice.
So
it
would
do
no
good
for
her
to
be
up
here
because
he
wouldn't
hear
her
so
I'm
going
to
read
what
she
wrote
for
the
student
of
the
year
at
cvla.
U
U
U
Napoleon
you're
stuck
with
me
tonight,
Napoleon
has
been
with
cvla
since
his
freshman
year.
Napoleon
truly
demonstrates
the
characteristics,
qualities
and
values
of
a
student
of
the
year.
He
is
a
stellar
student
and
maintained
honor
roll
status
throughout
his
time
at
cvla.
From
the
first
time,
I
met
Napoleon
and
his
proud
supportive
father,
elephin
Jean
Lambert
yeah.
You
get
props
too.
U
In
my
office,
in
September
of
2021,
Napoleon
has
distinguished
himself
as
serious
caring
and
a
studious
young
man,
no
matter
what
he
ultimately
decides
to
do.
After
he,
graduates
from
high
school
I
am
certain.
He
will
work
hard,
be
kind
and
do
his
best.
When
I
asked
our
teachers
to
share
a
few
thoughts
about
Napoleon.
This
is
what
they
shared.
So
this
is
from
Miss
Colgan,
your
Ela
teacher
I.
Remember
the
Museum
of
Science
field
trip
when
Napoleon
was
in
my
group.
Not
only
was
he
all
smiles.
U
He
was
extremely
kind
to
every
student
in
our
group
quickly
becoming
the
glue
that
held
all
the
students
together.
Napoleon
is
a
quiet
yet
strong
leader
who
easily
and
immediately
makes
those
around
him
feel
comfortable,
whether
they
be
his
peers
or
the
adults
teaching
him
not
only
that
he
is
an
exceptional
student
who
consistently
puts
100
effort
into
the
all
the
work
that
he
does.
U
He
truly
is
a
gift
to
Chelsea
Public
Schools
from
Miss
Clayman,
the
school
counselor
at
the
college
field,
trip
to
Northeastern
Napoleon
was
calm,
poised
and
so
patient
with
the
big
group.
He
shows
up
consistently
prepared
and
ready
to
learn
from
Miss
Alonso.
The
math
teacher
online
math
learning
has
to
be
one
of
the
most
challenging
subjects
and
Napoleon's
attitude
towards
learning
is
admirable.
His
Readiness
and
punctuality
are
to
be
praised.
Napoleon
is
always
courteous
and
very
loving
when
addressing
students
and
adults.
U
U
V
So
my
name
is
Ron
Schmidt
principal
of
Chelsea
opportunity
Academy.
Although
I
have
known
this
student
for
many
years
way
back
to
his
years
at
Chelsea,
High
School,
someone
else
has
taken
we'll
take
my
place
tonight
because
of
the
special
relationship.
These
two
have
formed
and
I
would
like
to
present
Miss
chubeli
Nadal,
our
social
worker,
who
has
a
few
words
to
say
about
our
student
of
the
year.
W
W
I
love,
Elmer,
okay,
Elmer
came
from
Guatemala
in
2014
and
started
CHS
in
2015.,
like
many
of
our
students
in
Chelsea.
They
need
to
work
to
help.
Priest's
family
made
it
hard
to
manage
to
demands
of
a
traditional
High
School
attending
every
day
for
long
days,
doing
homework
studying
for
tests
all
that
stuff
in
August
2018.
Thanks
to
all
of
you
and
you
and
everyone
here,
COA
opened
and
Elmer
became
one
of
our
founding
students
when
he
came
to
COA.
He
was
very
respectful
and
fun
teenager,
but
he
was
very
guarded.
W
He
was
very
quiet
regarding
his
life,
his
stressors
and
his
struggles.
He
made
it
clear
that
he
didn't
need
any
help.
He
could
do
it
all
on
his
own.
He
kept
us
all
at
a
distance
gradually,
as
Elementary
came
to
trust
the
faculty
staff
and
me
at
COA.
He
began
to
open
up,
remove
the
barriers
that
kept
him
from
engaging
at
COA.
We
believe
that
connections
are
the
key
to
success
where
we
listen
to
our
students,
feelings
and
teach
empathy
skills
through
modeling.
We
believe
every
day
is
a
new
day.
W
We
learn
from
our
past,
but
we
don't.
Let
our
past
to
find
us,
we
don't
feel
ashamed
to
share
with
our
teachers
or
fellow
students.
When
we
make
a
poor
choice.
We
know
we
will
not
be
shamed
by
your
errors,
will
be
lifted,
helped
and
listened
to
and
as
we
grow,
we
help
those
around
us
and
we
lift
them.
Elmer
is
the
embodiment
of
the
student
of
COA
was
built
to
served.
It's
made
connections
to
staff
and
students.
W
He
will
continue
to
grow,
make
mistakes,
correct
those
errors
and
move
forward
with
his
head
held
high
El
me
Elmer
knows
his
worth
and
is
the
confidence
to
reach
his
goals
and,
if
he's
ever
feeling
low
Elmer
knows
that
he
can
always
come
home
to
COA.
Elmer
knows
in
this.
He
said
in
his
Capstone
Elmer
knows.
Being
strong
is
asking
for
help.
W
As
a
student
Elmer
has
Blossom
at
COA
is
one
of
and
now
I'm
gonna
I
ask
teachers
too,
because
you
know
I,
don't
know
anything
about
academics
as
one
of
his
teachers
stated
he's
able
to
debate
techniques
innately
and
commands
a
presence
when
speaking
that
garnets
respect
and
admiration
the
resilience
and
determination
that
has
served
Elmer
so
well
as
he
acclimated
to
Chelsea
allows
Elmer
to
be
relentless
in
quest
for
knowledge,
the
type
of
student
who
actively
seeks
out
opportunities
to
challenge
and
better
himself,
the
resilience
will
show
most
brightly
when
a
broken
ankle,
as
you
can
see,
and
surgery
to
fix
that
broken
ankle
threatened
to
derail
his
academic
process.
W
However,
Elmer
would
not
be
deterred
working
from
home
and
managing
to
come
to
school
regularly
to
graduate
and
attain
his
diploma.
Most
importantly,
during
his
time
without
the
col
Irma
has
realized
his
own
strength.
His
ability
to
maintain
a
sense
of
humor
and
to
smile
in
the
face
of
adversity
is
admirable.
In
the
highest
degree,
his
life
experience
have
gifted
Elmer,
with
the
reach
out
to
and
leaders
others
with
charismatic
and
endearing
personalities.
W
Far
from
the
guarded
student
that
first
entered
her
school
in
2018,
2018
Elmer
is
a
central
part
of
our
COA
family
that
will
leave
an
edible
mark
on
his
teachers,
peers
and
me.
This
young
man
has
been
an
inspiration
to
us
all
and
will
continue
to
leave
those
around
him
as
he
moves
on
to
the
next
phase
of
his
life.
X
Good
evening
I'm
Robert
Morales
proud
principal
of
Chelsea
High
School
Morales
Chelsea
High
School.
It
gives
me
great
pleasure
to
present
to
you
our
student
of
the
year.
The
president
is
High
School.
It
is
an
honor
for
me
to
present
to
you
the
Chelsea
High
School
2020-23
student
of
the
year,
Jamie
Marino.
X
Jimmy
symbolizes
and
represents
what
a
Chelsea
High
School
student
is
about.
Jimmy
cares
about
this
community
Beyond
his
own.
He
cares
about
everyone
in
this
community.
He
exemplifies
that.
Embodies
that
and
enacts
that
in
everything
he
does.
His
personal
commitment
to
his
academic
development
is
unquestionable,
he's
highly
achieving
in
advanced
placement
classes,
but
he
goes
beyond
the
classroom.
He
is
involved
in
so
many
things
that
I
think
you
need
to
have
his
calendar
to
notice
what
he
does
when
you
want
request
a
meeting
with
Jimmy.
X
His
calendar
is
probably
busier
than
our
superintendents
I'm
going
to
challenge
that
one
of
the
accolades
and
the
honors
Jimmy
received
this
year
is
huge.
You
and
I'm
going
to
give
you
a
synopsis.
X
It's
a
great
honor
for
Jimmy,
but
it's
a
great
honor
for
Chelsea.
He
was
able
to
represent
the
city
of
Chelsea,
the
community
of
Chelsea,
the
citizens
of
Chelsea.
He
needed
it
well.
He
had
a
great
opportunity
to
mingle
and
rub
elbows
with
some
of
the
Senators
some
of
the
Senators
here
from
from
Massachusetts
and
across
the
nation
and
students,
and
he
told
me
a
story
about
a
student
from
Florida
and
he
took
a
picture
with
a
student
from
Florida.
A
X
X
X
The
Legacy
that
he's
going
to
leave
I
am
so
excited
for
we
have
one
more
year
of
Jimmy,
so
you're
not
off
the
hook
yet
and
there's
there's
not
enough
that
I
can
say
and
I
can
talk
all
night
in
some
movies.
I
normally
know
that
I
can
do
that.
I,
don't
have
to
prepare
a
speech.
I
can
have
it
all
here
and
lastly,
what
we
want
you
to
take
away
is
Jimmy
continue,
being
Jimmy,
continue
doing
what
you're
doing,
because
you're
making
a
difference
for
yourself
for
your
peers
and
for
our
city.
A
Can
I
quickly
Say
Jimmy
turn
around
so
I
was
going
to
give
Miss
Hernandez
the
the
award
and.
A
E
G
Y
Y
So
as
part
of
my
job,
I
developed
the
annual
budget
for
the
Chelsea
Public
Schools,
and
it
involves
lots
of
nights
with
lots
of
numbers
and
Word
Documents
and
trying
to
put
everything
together
and
the
single
most
joyful
part
I
have
of
the
process
is
looking
at
the
student
artwork
and
every
year
we
just
get
phenomenal
art
from
all
of
our
schools.
That
gets
to
be
part
of
the
budget,
but
the
budget
cover
is
the
most
important
one
and
Emily's
artwork
was
selected
this
year.
Y
A
bigger
version-
and
you
can
see
the
theme
of
the
year
to
come,
is
strengthen
and
support
and
I
just
thought.
The
colors
and
the
tree
and
everything
about
the
artwork
just
was
so
stellar
and
really
followed
the
message
that
we
want
to
say
that
Chelsea
schools
is
here
we're
succeeding,
we're
going
to
have
a
great
School
in
the
year
next
year
and
I
just
want
to
thank
Emily
for
her
work.
I
really
really
just
had
a
joy
to
to
look
at
it.
So
thank
you.
G
All
right,
so
next
we'll
move
on
to
our
2020
or
23
school
department.
Retirees
usually
I.
Do
these,
but
I
have
a
couple:
I
have
a
school
Committee
Member
here
who
will
not
be
here
at
the
end
of
next
year,
because
this
is
her
last
year
on
school
committee.
So
I'm
going
to
turn
this
over
to
miss
Velez
to
do
the
retirees
because
Miss
Velez
has
been
here
for
12
years
and
there's
something
I
shared
with
you
in
a
text
and
I
might
cry
when
I
got
hired
for
this
job.
G
The
call
that
I
received
was
from
Jeanette
and
I'll.
Never
forget
it,
and
so
I'm
so
grateful
to
be
here
and
I'm
going
to
turn
this
over
to
miss
Velez
to
do
the
retirees
because
I
think
without
her
support
in
this
entire
school
committee,
of
course,
but
I
know
that
they
back
and
support
the
work
that
we
do
each
and
every
day
and
I
could
not
ask
for
a
better
school
committee.
I'm,
so
fortunate
and
so
blessed
and
I
know
that
they
are
committed
and
Jeanette
kept
pulling
papers.
G
I
kept
begging
her
please
pull
papers
and
please
please
don't
leave
me
yet
and
she's
ready
to
to
move
on
and
let
us
all
fly
and
she
gave
us
wings
so
we're
gonna,
I'm
gonna.
Let
her
do
the
honors
tonight
so.
C
Thank
you,
Dr,
beta
and
first
emotional,
and
for
those
who
have
seen
me
through
the
past
12
years
and
I
had
the
honor
of
being
chair
for
five
years
and
five
years
that
I
delivered
a
speech
at
Chelsea.
High
I
was
a
wreck
and
always
be
a
mess,
and
always
emotional.
So
I
was
feeling
you,
but
I'll
try
not
to
cry
now.
C
C
C
C
C
C
C
C
C
C
C
C
C
So
for
those
who
may
not
know
so,
we
named
Clark
Avenue
school
after
Jay
Siegel's,
father
I
had
the
honor
and
pleasure
working
with
your
dad.
When
I
first
came
into
the
school
committee,
he
made
sure
that
he
kept
me
on
my
toes
and
he
was
pulling
me
by
the
ears
so
I'm
very
grateful
that
I
had
the
opportunity
to
serve
with
him.
C
I
C
Just
want
to
give
a
heartfelt
thank
you
to
our
Educators
I
know
it's
not
an
easy
job,
and
for
you
guys,
when
I
read
how
many
years
the
commitment
that
you
have
given
to
our
community
to
our
family
and
our
students,
it's
just
amazing,
and
you
know
when
we
have
people
that
stick
around
that
really
helps
our
students.
We
feel
good
about
ourselves
because
we
know
that
we
could
walk
into
the
schools
and
we're
going
to
see
familiar
faces,
people
who
really
know
us
and
care
about
us.
So
thank
you.
C
A
A
Before
moving
on
to
the
next
section,
we'll
take
a
quick
two
minute
break
and
then
go
into
the
boring
stuff,
which
is
a
ton
of
votes,
so
this
is
where
I
dismiss
the
families,
but
before
I
let
you
go
to
the
students
of
the
Year.
Thank
you
for
being
rock
stars.
Thank
you
for
for
being
Chelsea
and
and
representing
who
we
are
as
a
community.
Thank
you
for
coming
tonight
and
showing
up
and
for
showing
up
every
single
day
at
school.
It
makes
our
life
so
much
easier.
A
Are
there
any
other
school
committee
members?
Oh
yes,
yes,
yes,
I
quickly.
What
I
said
in
Spanish
was
to
the
families
and
students
in
particular,
to
the
families.
Thank
you
for
supporting
your
student,
your
child,
who
represent
Chelsea
in
such
a
beautiful
way.
Thank
you.
It
makes
our
life
so
much
easier
already
before
moving
on
to
the
break.
Are
there
any
school
committee
members
that
want
to
share
a
few
words
to
the
audience
or
to
our
students
in
retirees?
A
No
pressure?
Okay?
Well
to
the
retirees?
Thank
you
so
much
for
Miss
Village.
You
took
the
words
out
of
my
head
right.
Thank
you
for
your
commitment
to
our
students
to
our
families
into
this
city.
One
last
round
of
applause.
A
A
A
A
Z
A
G
Great
so
before
I
get
started,
I
do
want
to
acknowledge
that
we
did
hire
a
chief
academic
officer
and
I
realized.
I
have
not
informally
introduced
you
to
her
Chief
academic
officer
and
she's.
Here
tonight.
Her
name
is
Dr
Oneida,
Fox
Roy,
please
stand
or
wave
so
Oneida
has
over
20
years
in
education
worked
for
years
and
years
in
the
Boston
public
schools
and
high
schools
and
in
the
curriculum
instruction
office,
and
she
was
also
an
equity
officer.
G
So
she
comes
to
us
with
a
wide
range
of
experience
and
expertise
in
curriculum
and
instruction
and
Equity.
We
were
fortunate
to
hire
her
and
to
I,
say,
grab
her
and
I
know
that
she's
going
to
add
a
lot
to
our
work
that
we're
doing
here
and
she's
been
with
us
a
couple
of
weeks
already
and
as
Adam
Mr,
our
Deputy
superintendent
and
I
were
talking.
It's
like
she
fit
in
like
a
like
a
missing
puzzle,
piece
to
all
of
us.
G
And
I
don't
know
if
you
formally
have
met
our
new
budget
manager,
Lori
gerdella,
she
I
know,
I've
read
her
bios,
but
I
don't
think
she
has
physically
been
here.
So
I
would
like
to
introduce
Lori
giardella
to
us
and
we
were
so
fortunate
to
have
her.
G
She
comes
with
many
many
many
years
of
experience
too
I've
spent
most
of
her
career
in
the
city
of
Revere
and
and
is
now
here
so
we're
extremely
fortunate
to
have
her
expertise
and
I
look
forward
to
how
she
will
be
able
to
help
develop
our
business
office
and
functions
and
systems.
So
please
welcome
Laura
giadella
as
well.
G
Okay,
okay,
move
on
to
my
report.
We
did
graduate
this
Saturday
in
the
rain.
Beautiful
joyous
rain
382
students
of
those
382
students,
306,
were
from
Chelsea
High
School
43
for
were
from
the
Chelsea
opportunity.
Academy
21,
we're
from
the
Chelsea
virtual
Learning,
Academy
and
12
students
were
out
of
District
class
of
2023
was
offered
5.5
million
in
scholarships
and
they
will
be
going
to
a
total
of.
G
So
our
in
this
year's
class
was
a
larger
class
than
last
year.
We
graduated
70
more
students
this
year
than
we
did
last
year,
so
if
it
seemed
a
little
longer
in
the
rain,
that's
because
we
had
70
more
students,
so
I'm,
very
proud
of
the
work
that
this
entire
team
has
done
to
graduate
our
class
of
23
with
382
students,
so
paper
pad,
and
so
with
that
I
would
like
to
call
up
our
Deputy
superintendent,
Mr
Adam,
the
lady
to
review
the
indicators
of
success.
U
We
have
for
the
month
four
grades,
who
have
improved
over
the
previous
month
and
we've
had
10
grades
who
have
actually
dropped
from
the
previous
month,
so
the
May
attendance
was
a
little
bit
on
the
downward
Trend
overall
year
to
date.
As
we
compare
our
year-to-date
percentages
to
last
year,
we
actually
have
seven
grades
that
improved
over
last
year,
total
and
five
grades
who
dropped
a
little
bit.
U
I
want
to
specifically
call
out
our
seniors
who
graduated
because
our
seniors
actually
improved
their
attendance
rate
over
last
year
by
26
percentage
points,
so
huge
jump
with
our
seniors.
So
we're
really
happy
about
that,
because
we've
historically
struggled
and
overall
for
the
district
for
the
entire
district
for
the
year-to-date
attendance,
we
actually
dropped
by
0.1
percent.
U
So
it's
kind
of
amazing
from
a
mathematical
perspective
that
we
were
that
close.
So
it's
essentially
the
same
as
last
year,
but
keep
in
mind.
You've
heard
me
talk
many
times
about
the
triple
demek
and
I.
Think
without
that
triple
democ,
we
would
have
beat
last
year
by
quite
a
bit
so
some
things
to
be
happy
about
there
as
we
move
to
page
three
and
we
look
at
our
I
ready.
U
So
as
we
look
at
the
different
grade
levels
as
compared
to
at
this
point,
last
year,
we
had
seven
of
the
nine
grades
that
test
we
test
kindergarten
through
grade
eight
and
seven
of
those
grades
improved
over
last
year
in
reading
and
two
grades
dropped
in
Reading
over
last
year,
kindergarten
improved
by
three
percentage
points
grade,
one
improved
by
seven
grade,
two
improved
by
nine
grade.
Three
and
four
stayed
exactly
the
same
grade:
five
improved
by
seven
percentage
points
grade
six
dropped
by
three
grade:
seven
improved
by
two
and
grade
8
dropped
by
two.
U
So
overall,
as
a
district,
we're
moving
in
the
right
direction
for
math
kindergarten
stayed
exactly
the
same
grade.
One
improved
by
two
points:
grade
two
improved
by
Five
Points
grade
three
improved
by
three
points:
grade
four
improved
by
Five
Points
I
should
also
note
that
we
still
have
some
some
students
to
complete
for
math
we're,
not
a
hundred
percent
complete
but
small
enough
numbers
that
I
think
these
percentages
will
hold
grade
five
improved
by
nine
points.
U
U
Through
the
dropout
rate,
the
goal
is
to
decrease
the
dropout
rate
by
two
percent.
We
did
drop
our
dropout
rate,
but
not
by
two
percent
as
compared
to
last
year
last
year
was
6.06
percent
dropout
rate.
U
This
year
we
still
have
a
few
days
to
go,
but
I
I'm
I'm,
hoping
nobody
drops
out
in
the
last
two
weeks
of
school,
because
you
make
it
that
far
and
it's
dropped
down
to
five
point
three:
three
percent
for
a
total
drop
of
0.73
percent,
so
just
under
one
percent
drop,
so
it
we're
moving
in
the
right
direction
there
and,
as
we
drill
down
a
little
bit
into
our
as
we
particularly
look
at
our
language
Learners
last
year,
16
of
our
language
Learners
dropped
out
this
year
it
was
dropped
to
10.
U
still
a
number-
that's
too
high,
but
it's
we're
moving
in
the
right
direction
there
and
the
non-language
learner
students
last
year
was
3.99
percent.
This
year
was
2.92
percent,
so
a
little
over
one
percent
dropped
there
too,
so
again,
moving
in
the
right
direction
and,
lastly,
our
in-out
data,
our
transient
data.
U
In
the
month
of
May
for
a
total,
we
had
50
students
register
new
and
27
students
leave
the
district
total
substantial
jumps
were
in
the
high
school,
where
we
had
24
students
come
in
and
nine
leave
and
in
the
middle
school,
where
we
had
12
students
come
in
and
five
leave
for
a
total.
For
the
year
we've
had
714
students
newly
registered
and
419
students
leave,
so
people
must
be
hearing
good
things.
U
A
AA
So
my
first
question
is
around
the
the
attendance
for
the
seniors.
It
seems
like
a
huge
jump
and
I'm
just
curious.
You
know
that
last
year's
have
some
skip
days,
that
this
year's
happened
yet
or
I've.
Just
wildly
surprised
that
there's
like
a
30
Gap,
so
I'm
just
curious
like
what
that,
if
you
have
any
thoughts
on
what
that
had
to
do
with
I.
U
Would
be
guessing,
but
if
I,
if
I
get
to
guess
I'm,
just
going
to
say
that
their
experience
must
have
been
more
positive
than
in
the
past.
I
know,
Dr
abeda
has
said
a
few
times.
This
particular
class
has
gone
through
a
whole
lot.
U
As
you
know,
I'm
not
going
to
go
into
the
details
in
terms
of
their
timeline,
but
kova
did
a
number
on
this
group
and
so
I
think
I'm
going
to
guess
that
them
being
back
in
person
wanting
to
get
as
much
out
of
their
time
at
Chelsea
high
as
they
possibly
could.
That's,
my
guess,
but
I'd
have
to
talk
to
the
kids
directly
for
that.
AA
Yeah
I
appreciate
that,
thank
you
and
then
that's
right,
I,
don't
know.
Yeah
I
just
have
one
more,
and
this
is
I'm
just
blanking
on
the
so
the
high
school
dropout
rate,
decreasing
by
two
percent
per
year,
would
mean
that
we
would
have
zero
dropouts
by
2026,
while
I
would
love
to
have
that.
That
just
perhaps
feels
a
little
unrealistic,
so
I'm
just
kind
of
curious.
You
know,
is
there
a
better
kind
of
goal
for
us
moving
forward?
AA
U
Thank
you
yeah
and
listen.
If
we
can
get
to
that
point,
I
think
we're
in
a
good
spot.
There's
there's
something
called
half-lives,
whereas
as
you
get
closer,
you
cut
the
number
in
half
and
you
never
actually
get
there.
But
if
we
can
get
to
the
point
where
we
do
have
close
to
zero
percent
dropouts,
then
we're
doing
we're
doing
well.
Yeah.
AA
And
I
and
I
guess
just
compared
to
other
districts
like
ours.
This
I
think
is
good.
Correct
me
if
I'm
wrong,
I.
AA
U
Speak
to
that
I
do
know
for
a
fact
that
we
have
things
in
place
to
support
our
struggling
students
that
most
districts
don't
and
it's
a
necessity.
We
have
kids
who
go
through
certain
struggles
and
I
think
in
in
many
other
places
and
I've
been
in
other
places.
The
kid
drops
out
the
kid
drops
out.
U
We
we've
built
schools
for
kids
like
this
now,
so
we
have
Chelsea
opportunity
Academy
that
has
done
wonders
for
these
kids
and
the
cvla
this
these
past
two
years
have
they've
real
I'm
here,
I'm
hearing
from
parents
and
I'm
hearing
from
kids
that
it
saved
these
kids
so
to
provide
different
kinds
of
options,
and
on
top
of
that,
the
wraparound
services
that
we
provide
our
counselor
our
social
workers
and
just
the
love
that
we
have
for
our
kids
from
our
teachers.
I
think
it
makes
a
big
difference.
G
G
G
We've
been
able
what
I
say
to
capture
students
so
the
other
day,
Mr,
Delaney
and
I
were
at
the
Chelsea
virtue,
virtual
Learning
Academy
end
of
year
celebration
at
the
park
and
I
I
went
around
and
I
talked
to
the
parents
that
were
present
and
I
asked
them.
Why
did
you
choose
cvla
for
your
student,
one
parent
said:
if
I
didn't
have
civil
cvla
as
an
option,
I
would
have
probably
sent
my
kid
out
of
Chelsea
and
so
we're
providing
different
options
for
our
families
and
for
our
students
and
you'll.
G
See
that
I
believe
is
why
our
enrollment
is
actually
increasing,
because
a
lot
of
our
students
that
we're
capturing
in
these
two
programs,
we
would
Outsource
and
we're
actually
saving
money
and,
as
a
result
of
keeping
more
kids
with
our
virtual
Learning
Academy
and
COA,
rather
than
sending
them
to
other
schools
outside
the
district
and
so
for
a
small
City.
With
only
now
11
schools.
We
have
three
options:
three
options
for
families
now,
so
we
are
keeping
more
of
our
students
in
Chelsea
and
you'll,
see
that
in
the
next
report,.
A
A
Okay,
any
other
questions.
I
have
a
quick
follow-up
I
just
on
page
one,
our
attendance
every
year
that
I've
served
on
the
committee
I
have
always
seen
a
drop
from
8th
to
ninth
grade
and
I
think
this
is
the
first
time
I'm,
seeing
such
an
increase
and
so
I
want
to
take
a
moment.
I
wish
Mr
Morales
was
here
to
thank
him
and
and
his
team
truly
because
the
attendance
I
have
never
seen
the
attendance
so
great,
and
so
I
am
I'm
feeling
so
so
positive
about
our
attendance.
Yes,
it
can
improve.
A
B
A
Mr
Morales
in
the
Chelsea
High
School
team
I
commend
them
for
their
work
and
then
my
second
follow-up
question
is
on
page
four,
a
corrects
me
from
the
num,
the
pro
the
breakdown
often
included
students
with
IEPs
or
504
plans
and
I
noticed
it's
not
there.
It
might
am
I
missing
something.
Have
we
always
tracked?
U
So
I
believe
we
we
had
a
request
last
time
to
find
out
what
that
was,
and
we
included
it
in
the
last
time.
But
it's
typically
not
in
in
this
document
got.
A
Great,
that
is
all.
G
Thank
you
so
now
we'll
go
on
to
our
Personnel
report.
As
you
know,
we
are
tracking
for
diver.
We
are
looking
to
hire
a
diverse
Workforce,
and
so
you
can
see
our
demographic
data
on
this
report
for
this
month,
we've
hired
50,
Caucasian,
38,
Hispanic,
12,
black
and
zero
percent,
Asian
Pacific
Islander,
and
then
my
next
report
is
the
enrollment
report.
So
this
is,
may
we
have
the
highest
number
of
students
that
I've
seen
since
I've
been
here
even
pre-pandemic?
Now
we
are
at
6
000.
G
We
are
ending
at
6
309
students,
so
we
have
been
seeing
an
upward
decline
even
to
the
very
end.
So
that
means
that
people
are
choosing
us
and
very
proud
of
the
fact
that
we're
increasing
so
I
would
like
to
commend
these
two
reports
for
the
record.
Please.
A
Just
a
second
already
team
I'm
going
to
try
something
new
for
the
new
business,
but
of
course
only
if
the
whole
school
committee
is
in
approval
and
so
do
I
have
emotion
to
waive
the
readings
today.
Currently.
AA
AA
A
The
votes
as
opposed
to
reading
them
individually
and
casting
a
vote
for
all
items
in
a
bundle.
A
Y
AA
A
AB
The
only
one
that
I
would
say
that
we
go
ahead
and
move
out
would
be
I.
I
would
say
yes,
but
I
would
say
amended
to
just
exclude
the
never
mind.
Just
yes,
Miss.
C
A
Great
and
so
now
a
roll
call
to
accept
all
all
items
under
new
business,
roll.

AA
Really
quickly
would
like
to
thank
everybody
from
the
central
office
staff,
especially
Mr
Sally
here,
for
all
the
help
with
the
Chelsea
research
Festival.
It
was
a
great
event
for
those
of
you
who
are
not
able
to
make
it.
They
upgraded
from
kind
of
printed
research
posters
last
year
to
like
these
TVs,
it
was
a
really
cool
event,
I'm
really
looking
forward
to
it
continuing
to
happen.
AA
Although
I
will
quick
disclaimer,
it
was
my
wife
that
was
putting
it
together,
but
as
somebody
who
hasn't
been
to
like
a
number
of
events
like
that
it
was,
it
was
really
cool.
So
yeah
just
thank
you
to
everybody
who
supported
the
work
from
central
office
and
from
all
the
Community
Partners
for
the
event.
Thank
you.
Z
To
say,
I
just
want
to
congratulate
the
student.
One
of
the
last
items
that
we
approved
was
five
or
excuse
me.
Two
students
that
are
gonna
go
to
the
New
Balance
outdoor
track
for
Nationals,
so
I'm
super
proud
of
our
student
athletes.
Continuing
to
push
the
boundary
represent
Chelsea.
Z
As
someone
who
was
formerly
part
of
track,
it's
really
amazing
to
see
the
pathway
that
they're
creating
for
our
younger
folks
to
participate,
and
then
lastly,
I
just
hope
that
everyone
takes
time
this
summer
to
rest
rejuvenate
and
to
be
ready
for
next
school
year
too.
Thank
you.
A
A
Okay,
I
think
that
wraps
up
our
last
meeting
of
the
school
year
team.
Thank
you
central
office
team.
Thank
you
to
this
wonderful
team
of
school
committee
members.
We
made
it
I
hope
in
the
in
the
our
vice
chairwoman.
A
I
hope
you
take
this
time
this
summer
to
rest
rejuvenate
and
get
ready
for
another
school
year.
Do
I
have
a
motion
to
adjourn
this
meeting.
