A
A
A
Second,
all
those
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye,
aye
minutes
are
approved
all
right.
Are
there
any
citizens
to
be
heard
regarding
items
not
on
the
agenda?
No,
there
are
not,
but
if
someone
comes
in,
we
can
always
come
back
and
revisit
this
item.
Certainly
all
right.
Moving
on
now
we're
in
new
business,
and
the
first
item
is
the
summer
library
program
and
I'm
going
to
defer
to
our
library
director
to
fill
us
in
how's
it
going
well,
it's
not.
B
I
concluded
last
week
this
was
a
summer
of
pre-covered
normalcy,
so
we're
last
summer
we
primarily
did
summer
reading
program
virtually
with
some
in
person.
Not
many
programs.
This
year
was
all
in
person.
We
did
have
some
virtual
elements
and
it
was
again
very
successful,
so
we
did
normally.
The
focus
is
kids
and
teens,
but
we
also,
we
always
include
adults,
so
we
had
different
challenges
for
all
ages
that
they
can
earn
badges
online
and
whatnot.
B
So
overall,
it
was
just
been
a
great
summer
and
families
were
just
anxious
to
get
back
to
a
normal
summer.
Absolutely
absolutely,
and
then
also
we
had
a
very
successful
partnership
with
our
sustainability
team,
the
cities
city's
sustainability
team
and
they
did
like
an
eight-week
series
and
each
week
focused
on
a
different
topic
like
microplastics
or
recycling
or
solar
energy
and
whatnot.
A
B
Yep,
it
started
on
monday
and
it
concludes
friday
or
until
supplies
are
gone.
I
just
checked
this
morning
and
most
of
our
locations
are
down
to
like
10
or
15
backpacks,
so
once
again
been
another
successful
year,
and
this
could
also
be
down
at
the
library
foundation
report.
But
once
again
I
think
this
is
their
sixth
or
seventh
year.
They
have
generously
supported
and
funded
the
backpacks,
the
school
supplies
and
the
books.
A
A
A
B
A
And
that's
that's
the
kind
of
thing
I
want
the
community
of
clearwater
to
know
that
we
are
cognizant
of
the
increased
need
that
school-aged
children
have
and
whatever
we
can
do.
We
want
to
be
there
to
help
absolutely
great
okay.
Thank
you.
Thank
you,
and
now
moving
from
one
butcher
exhibit
to
the
new
one.
The
nikki
butcher
exhibit
tell
us
about
that.
When
did
it
start?
It's
wonderful.
B
What
date
was
it
july,
6th
or
10th?
It
was
a
saturday,
okay
and
nikki
was
here
and
so
was
clyde
and
we
had
a
great
turnout.
We
probably
had
250
people
come
through
and
she
had
posters
that
she
was
signing
and
they
were
selling.
You
know
no
cards
and
whatnot,
but
every
day
I
see
people
you
know
coming
in
and
looking,
and
so
it's
just
been.
It's
been
wonderful
and
she's.
Just
so
humble
and
but
and
it's
interesting
too,
because
I
heard
her
say
she
her
original
pieces.
B
I
don't
know
she
donated
them
to
a
museum
years
back,
because
now
she
does
everything
digitally.
But
the
museum
actually
said
hey.
Do
you
want
these,
your
originals
back,
and
so
we
have
some
of
her
originals
here.
B
So
it's
really
really
interesting,
but-
and
it
will
be
here
until
december
until.
A
C
B
B
A
B
Trying
our
best
we're
getting
closer
we're
getting
closer,
but
we
are
having
some
challenges
with
hiring
and
but
we're
getting
there.
So
I
think
we
have
maybe
six
or
seven
vacancies
system-wide.
B
Them
on-
and
this
isn't
a
lot
of
department
challenge,
it's
city-wide
and
a
lot
of.
In
fact,
I
just
had
a
statewide
director's
meeting
yesterday
and
all
the
directors
are
saying
we're
they're,
going
through
the
same
situation
as
it's
hard
to
recruit,
so
we're
doing
our
best
we're
getting
there,
but
we're
still
keeping
our
doors
open,
good
and
our
services
are
still
going
strong.
So.
A
B
That's
timely
because
they're
getting
very
shortly
they're
going
to
be
taking
down
the
fences
because
they've
repaved
and
put
the
stripes,
we
will
have
fewer
parking
in
that
first
row.
The
book
drop
area
head
will
is
moving
west.
So
when
you
drive
in
it's
going
to
be
on
the
west
curve,
whereas
before
it
was
on
the
south
second
row,
okay,
so
we'll
still
have
a
book
drop
area.
A
B
And
then,
of
course,
we
have
the
temporary
parking
across
the
street.
I
need
to
find
out
how,
if
we're
gonna,
be
able
to
park
there
for
the
duration
or
not.
So
I
need
to
I
need
to
ask
the
city
manager,
but
once
this
opens
up
we'll
have
fewer
spaces
in
the
front
row,
but
we'll
still
have
the
second
row
spaces
available.
B
A
B
A
A
B
Are
again
going
into
fall
season
so
mid-september
to
mid-october
is
a
hispanic
heritage
month.
So
we
provide
a
lot
of
programs
focusing
on
the
hispanic
community,
which
is
fairly
large
of
clearwater.
As
you
know,
of
course,
our
holiday
programs
halloween
thanksgiving
winter
season,
so
again
we're
just
doing
programs
for
all
ages.
We're
still
we're
scaling
back
more
on
the
virtual,
but
we're
still
offering
some
virtual,
but
again
we're
just
excited.
We
have
a
full
full
full
schedule,
and
so.
B
Development
day
so
every
other
year,
our
pplcr
cooperative,
does
the
staff
development
day
every
other
year,
but
this
year
it's
we're
on
our
own.
So
we're
going
to
have
our
own
staff
development
day,
like
we
have
done
for
many
many
years
on
columbus
day
columbus
day
is
not
a
city
holiday,
but
we
are
approved
to
close
our
libraries
for
that
day
and
provide
you
know:
training
for
staff
and
and
whatnot.
So
I
believe,
that's
october
12th
this
year.
That
monday.
B
That
people
know-
and
we
chose
columbus
state
for
many
years,
because
many
people
think
that
it
is
a
legal
holiday.
So
but
it's
just
great,
and
especially
now
that
we're
gathering
in
person
again
it's
going
to
be
very
nice
to
get.
You
know
everybody
from
all
the
locations
together
again
very
good,
because
we
couldn't
do
it.
We
did
it
virtually
last
year.
So
so
it's
going
to
be
a
fun
day.
Excellent.
B
This
year
is
overall
a
status
quo
budget
for
us,
the
only
change
is
we
have
proposed
adding
saturday
hours
to
our
north
greenwood
branch
and
then
actually
they'll
be
open,
two
extra
hours
on
friday,
so
ten
to
five
on
friday,
ten
to
five
on
saturday
and
of
course,
extra
hours
means
extra
staff.
So
we
I
put
in
1.5
ftes,
so
one
full-time
librarian,
one
half-time
library
assistant
to
cover
those
hours
and
actually,
today,
at
three
o'clock
we
have
a
city
council
meeting
to
discuss
the
overall
budget
and
the
added
fdes
system
citywide.
A
B
The
friends
they're
still,
you
know,
obviously
having
a
challenge
with
their
book
sales,
so
I
don't
have
any
information
or
indication
that
they'll
have
a
book
sale
in
the
future
near
future.
B
However,
their
books,
areas
or
book
stores
at
our
locations
have
been
doing
very,
very
well.
Okay
and
we
are
getting
a
lot
we
have
been,
especially
during
covet.
People
are
cleaning
out
their
house,
but
we've
been
getting
a
lot
of
donations
and
a
lot
of
them
are,
you
know,
bestsellers
they're,
not
old,
you
know
stuff,
so
I
think
that's
could
be
part
of
the
reason
why
people
are
buying
more
in
our
locations.
So
that's
a
good
thing.
That's
good
for
the
friends.
A
Good
and,
and
certainly
one
of
my
messages
to
the
public
would
be
as
we
hopefully
are,
coming
out
of
covid.
If
you've
got
time,
you'd
like
to
donate
to
our
library
system,
there
are
needs
for
volunteers,
and
we
would
appreciate
any
donations
you
could
make
or
time
you
could
give
us
so
absolutely.
B
A
A
C
A
C
A
Rather
broken
up
and
and
before
adjournment
as
more
people
have
come
in,
I
would
just
drop
back
to.
Are
there
any
citizens
who
wish
to
be
heard
in
regard
to
the
library
board?
