From YouTube: City Council Tax Asssessor's 09 22 2015
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
We
have
like
a
I
guess,
a
point
of
privilege:
there's
no
objection.
We
about
a
dozen
or
so
of
our
employees.
An
elected
official
here
just
bring
an
update
related
to
Tyler
technologies
and
the
new
software
that
we
have
being
installed
and
if
no
one
objects
there
on
the
city,
managers
agenda
and
I
was
gonna
call
forward.
Whomever
would
like
to
speak.
John
Williams,
the
new
deputy
tax
commit
a
tax
assessor
and
so
welcome
you
here
and
would
like
to
just
get
a
quick
update
for
Council.
Thank.
B
You
my
ears,
you
pointed
it
out:
we've
got
people
from
both
my
office,
the
tax
assessor's
office
and
the
text
of
missionaries
office.
I
think
you
recognize
most
of
them.
Two
people
you
won't
recognize
is
the
on-site
supervisor,
which
is
Steve
Weiss
T,
Mary
Griffin
is
the
overall
project
manager.
She
comes
to
us
about
every
other
week.
Steve
works
hand
in
hand
with
us,
so
I
thought
I'd
bring
the
experts
up
here
and
let
them
give
you
a
quick
briefing
on
Tyler
technology
and
what
they're
doing
for
us.
C
C
Should
have
a
PowerPoint
with
our
project
status
on
it,
I
like
to
just
go
through
that
with
you
and
talk
to
you
about
where
we
stand
with
our
project.
How's,
this
better
okay,
I
was
afraid
there
wouldn't
be
a
microphone
I'm
very
relieved
anyway,
where
we
stand
today.
As
of
the
22nd
of
September,
a
brief
overview
of
the
project
itself.
It's
really
in
two
phases:
there's
an
is
world
software
upgrade,
and
what
that
represents
is
the
web-based
software
upgrade
for
the
tax,
assessor's
assessment
functions
and
the
tax
commissioners.
Tax
calculation
and
collection
functions
as
well.
C
Everything
they
currently
do
in
their
legacy
systems
are
going
to
replace
with
this
web-based
application.
We
have
in
addition
to
that,
a
couple
of
modules
that
they
don't
have
one
to
manage,
appeals
and
another
to
do
a
general
ledger,
accounting
for
disbursement
of
funds.
In
addition
to
that,
we
include
a
public
access
website
module,
which
is
a
website
for
the
public
to
see,
approved
and
published
tax
information,
matching
matching
the
digest
or
current
elections.
C
The
project
timeline
at
a
high
level,
the
IAS
world
go
live
dates
for
the
Tax
Commissioner
of
the
plan
is
December
of
2016
for
the
board
of
Assessors
May
of
2017,
and
the
public
website
that
we
just
talked
about.
Also
May
of
2017,
the
real
property
review
milestones,
street-level
imaging
has
been
completed,
data
verification
will
be
finished
in
March
of
2016.
C
C
Schedule
and
activities:
what
have
we
been
working
on
for
is
world.
We
are
on
schedule
for
the
tax
commissioners.
December
go
live,
the
things
we
have
been
working
on
is
we've
completed
a
residential
data
conversion
and
made
that
available
for
the
review
teams,
processes
for
verifying
the
data
we've
established
in
a
remote
staging
site
for
IAS
world.
It's
set
up
with
your
data
right
now
and
the
people
doing
the
review
are
using
that
site
today.
C
The
requirements
analysis
which
includes
interviews
of
all
of
our
users
to
identify
what
they
need
in
terms
of
configuration
or
modifications,
is
80%
complete.
The
tax
commissioners
data
conversion
and
load
is
underway.
Receivables
are
on
their
way
into
the
database
now
and
the
local
Hardware,
meaning
your
new
servers
have
been
configured
and
the
operating
systems
have
been
installed
ready
for
the
next
installation.
C
C
Our
data
verification
findings
on
this
chart.
What
we've
identified
here
are
the
edits
that
are
going
to
be
required.
There
are
edits
that
require
data,
entry
manager,
review
or
field
checks
for
a
total
of
ninety
two
hundred
and
eighty
one
parcels
that
represents
a
little
over
thirty
six
percent
of
the
total
parcels
we've
looked
at
we'll
need
some
kind
of
editing
done
and
that's
the
description
of
what
they'll
be
of
those
parcels
that
we
have
identified
edits
for
there
are
just
under
30
percent,
represent
an
improvement
value-added.
That
means
improvements
we
did
not
have
before.
C
And
what's
coming
up,
we're
gonna
install
is
world
locally
next
month,
so
the
folks
will
be
able
to
start
doing
their
data
entry
directly
into
your
database.
The
complete
the
hardware
installation
for
the
board
of
Assessors
will
also
be
completed
next
month.
Their
get
new
workstations
and
the
dual
monitor
system
to
work
with
the
data,
verification
for
commercial
will
begin
in
October.
We
will
begin
development
for
the
tax
commissioner
in
November
and
complete
the
residential
data
verification
in
December
of
2015
those
immediate
short-term
milestones
or
upcoming
efforts.
B
A
That
somes
already
been
accomplished
and
it
I
have
to
say
I'm
I,
guess
pleasantly
surprised,
maybe
it's
because
time
flies,
but
it
sounds
like
you're.
Gonna
have
some
good
work
done
here
in
the
next
couple
of
months.
So
that's
that's
encouraging
this
moon.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
Oh
wait.
Now
we've
got
councillor.
Davis
I
have.
D
C
D
E
The
review
team
we
have
a
number
of
reviewers
residential
reviewers
are
on-site
at
the
corporate
office
up
in
Dayton
Ohio
they're,
currently
doing
the
residential
first
pass
review,
define
their
final
review,
which
is
the
second
stage
of
the
review
process,
will
be
done
in-house
by
members
of
my
team,
either
myself
or
other
members
that
I've
hired
to
be
on
staff
to
work
in
the
counties.
Contractors.
E
D
E
Potential
I
mean
obviously
market
is
going
to
dictate
that
we
haven't
gotten
into
the
final
review
aspect
of
it
yeah.
Those
are
just
kind
of
preliminary
findings
that
we've
found.
As
far
as
some
of
the
improvements
that
we've
noted
and
identified
that
we
know
that
we're
going
to
capture
that
number
is
also
based
on.
E
D
E
D
B
That
in
here
for
a
moment,
yeah
yeah
I
think
you're
combining
to
the
efforts
here.
What
Steve
and
his
team
are
doing,
both
in
Ohio
and
locally
are
going
through
what
we
have
on
record
we've
chosen
and
hired
them
to
do
that
visually
by
computer,
by
aerial,
overhead
or
aerial
imagery,
and
and
compare
that
it's
really
kind
of
neat
it
directly
overlays
with
what
our
sketch
would
look
like
on
the
ground.
B
So,
for
example,
something
we
may
pick
up
in
that
review
is
the
detached
garage
that
is
there
and
we
didn't
know
it
was
there
or
it
could
be
a
carport
that
we
thought
was
a
garage
carport.
So
those
edits
are
actually
changes
to
our
records
and
has
nothing
to
do
at
this
point
with
assessment
or
valuation.
These
are
simply
edits.
Changes
to
our
will.
B
Is
finally
assessed
to
this
project,
it'll
be
market
driven
and
that's
what's
gonna
happen
between
171
117
s,
that
drop
it's
it's
the
deadline,
so
to
speak,
for
us.
We're
well
ahead
of
that
schedule
now,
but
those
those
values
that
you're
talking
about
market
value.
What
he's
talking
about
it's
gonna
be
derived
from
the
market,
but
it's
done
by
the
software
implementation
itself
and.
