you
put

for
the

B
B
Hey
don't
hear
a
motion
on
the
minutes,
all
in
favor
say
aye
all
opposed.
Okay,
we
have
a
proclamation
this
morning
for
Kendrick

future
Business,

and
presenting
this

D
All
right
good
morning,
it's
always
great
to
recognize
the
great
work,

A
D
E
I'm
John
McQueen
and
I'm,
the
president
of
Kendrick
High,
School's
FBLA,.
D
D
They
have
I,
know
they've
done
community
cleanup
events,
so
I
just
appreciate
all
you
do.
Thank
you.
H
Okay,
all
right,
thank
you,
mayor,
Pro
tem.
We
got
several
items
to
vote
on
this
morning.
First,
one
up
is
the
rezoning
at
1200
12
26
670.,
it
is
the
haze
petition,
is
ready
for
action.
You.
G
E
H
B
I
H
I
guess
I'll
read
them
number,
nine
is
no
business,
signage
or
lettering
shall
be
permitted,
except
that
the
property
owner
May
place
a
small
sign
on
or
adjacent
to
the
front
door
for
identification
purposes.
Number
10
is
six
foot.
Wood
fence
shall
be
required
along
the
side
and
rear
property
lines.
F
B
Okay,
we
have
a
motion
in
a
second
I,
have
emotional
Amendment.
Second,
on
the
amendment,
all
in
favor
say:
aye
all
opposed.
It
passes.
B
H
H
B
H
And
now
you
can
take
up
the
entire
ordinance,
which
includes
these
caps
on
units
and
all
the
historic
districts
and
permitting
and
definition
of
short-term
rental
revision,
but
it's
all
ready
for
action.
Okay,.
J
You
there
was
so
much
discussion
last
week
on
this
and
it
was
so
late
that
I
think
a
lot
of
us
have
forgotten
what
the
discussion
was
about.
So
can
you
just
kind
of
remind
us
of
what
is
in
this
ordinance
so
that
we
know
what
we're
voting
on
right
now.
H
And
we'll
just
run
through
each
section:
the
definitions
you're
revising
a
definition
of
owner
occupied
property.
That's
the
first
paragraph.
H
Then
you've
got
standards
for
Grant
or
denial
of
an
application,
and
it's
just
a
review
of
the
application
should
be
conducted
in
accordance
with
the
process
and
granted.
Unless
the
applicant
fails
to
meet
the
conditions
and
requirements
of
this
chapter,
any
fault
statements
or
ground
for
revocation,
then
you've
got
short-term
rental
units.
H
Then
you've
got
the
historic
district
limitations,
downtown
historic
35,
where
a
Coba
20
High
Uptown
15
as
amended
Liberty,
seven
Waverly,
Terrace,
16,
Wildwood,
Circle,
11,
Winton,
Village,
27,
peacock,
Woods,
Diamond,
Circle,
12,
dinglewood,
2
and
winds.
Hill,
overlook,
26.
H
E
I
I
want
to
go
back
up
to
section
4.9.7.
The
short-term
rentals
I
have
a
couple
problems
with
some
of
the
language
here.
First
of
all,
I've
had
a
couple
of
people
who
have
short-term
rentals.
The
the
issue
of
putting
their
name
and
a
name
and
phone
number
on
the
outside
of
their
unit
is
a
concern
to
them
that
and
that
looks
to
them.
What
section
D
says
can
happen.
I
I'm,
not
sure
how
you
well
I,
guess
perhaps,
when
you
get
your
business
license
that
it
can
somehow
or
another
be
transferred
to
the
public
safety
folks,
but
and
those
are
the
ones
that
need
to
know
how
to
get
in
touch
some
of
the
ones
who
need
to
know
so
that
one
is
a
concern
and
I'd
like
for
either
Mr
Johnson
or
Mr
Pruitt,
or
somebody
to
talk
about
that
one
and
the
second
that
I
have
a
concern
about
is
section
e
that
is
two
occupants
per
bedroom
plus
one
additional.
I
Is
there
any
time
limit
on
that
suppose
it's
a
two-bedroom
apartment
down
in
the
Mercer
area
and
they
want
to
have
people
over
for
dinner.
You
know:
is
there
any
kind
of
yeah
I
I
that
one
just
seems
to
me
to
have
need
some
more
explanation:
the
fact
that
it
says
there'll
be
no
change
in
the
outward
appearance
of
the
of
the
building.
I
I
think
I
understand
what
the
purpose
of
that
is,
but
suppose
I
wanted
to.
You
know,
put
up
a
fence.
A
picket
fence
around
my
I.
Couldn't
do
that
according
to
this
I
can't
change
the
outward
appearance
so
I'd
like
for
Mr
Pruitt.
If
you
would
at
least
address
some
of
those
concerns.
K
Good
morning
mayor
pro
team
members
Council
in
regards
to
the
sticker,
the
the
intent
with
it,
that
it
would
just
have
a
permit
number.
You
know
it
would
not
have
any
owner's
information
or
owner's
contact
information
on
that
sticker.
K
We
did
have
conversations
and
some
concerns
with
some
of
the
operators
that
had
you
know
this
privacy
issue,
so
the
intent
is
the
sticker
will
just
have
the
permit
number.
You
know
just
identifying
it
for
any
officers
that
respond
to
that
unit,
that
it
is
a
rental,
but
then
they
would
have
to
go
to
dispatch.
Go
to
the
back
of
the
house
to
get
that
contact
information.
I
Well,
I
guess:
Mr
the
the
issue
is
anytime.
You
put
contact
information
on
the
outside
of
these
dwellings.
Not
only
can
Public
Safety
get
it,
but
so
could
other
folks
who
were
not
Public
Safety,
who
could,
who
could
be
ultimately
perhaps
be
get
acquainted
with
Public
Safety
because
they
had
broken
into
this.
I
I
I
just
have
a
real
concern
about
that
and
I.
Don't
know,
I
know
that
when
we
put
a
sticker
on
you,
when
you
have
a
burglar
alarm
and
you
have
to
get
it
registered,
there's
a
sticker
that
you
put
on
the
window,
but
there
no
there's
no
information
on
that
sticker
that
people
outside
the
can
can
see
so
I
I
just
have
a
real
concern
about
about
that
piece
of
it
and
I'm
not
sure
what
the
solution
is.
I
But
to
my
mind
the
solution
is
not
putting
a
sticker
anywhere
on
the
outside
of
the
building.
That
has
personal
information
on
it
and.
K
I
On
know
that,
at
one
point
when
we
were
talking
about
this,
that
the
reason
we
wanted,
some
kind
of
identifying
information
was
in
case
I'm.
The
neighbor
and
I
want
to
call
the
owner
and
say
they're
having
a
party
in
their.
You
know.
47
people
over
at
your
house
that
would
not
be
I
would
not
be
able
to
do
that
if
it
was
just
a
sticker
number
right.
K
Correct
there
is
one
of
the
other
revisions
was
the
requirement
during
the
application
process
that
the
owner
or
agent
of
the
rental
notify
the
adjacent
property
owners
that
they
intend
to
start
a
rental
and
provide
all
that
contact
information.
So
we're
hoping
that
that
notification
process
you
know,
gives
the
neighbors
the
information
they
would
need
and.
I
That's
a
concern
to
me
and
I'm
not
sure
how
to
how
to
fix
that.
What
about
what
about
the
two
occupants
per
bedroom.
K
So
there
there
is
no
time
restriction,
so
it
would
be
directly
would
be
everywhere.
You
know,
the
intent
of
the
ordinance
is
just
to
regulate
party
houses
and
those
creating
disturbances.
You
know
so
there
wouldn't
be.
You
know
people
going
around
counting
people
in
in
the
units
unless
there
was
some
type
of
disturbance.
E
K
F
K
I
K
Is
to
prevent
again
making
it
look
like
a
commercial
establishment
if
it
is
in
a
single
family,
family
neighborhood.
We
have
similar
language
related
to
Personal,
Care,
Homes
and
those
types
of
businesses
that
are
running
residential,
that
you
know
it's
supposed
to
look
like
the
rest
of
the
neighborhood.
I
Well,
I
guess:
Mrs
mayor,
Pro
tem,
this
section
I
think
needs
some
more
work
and
I'm
not
sure
if
we
can
Mr
attorney,
pull
this
section
out
and
do
something
with
it.
But
I
I,
just
I'm
just
real
concerned
that
some
of
the
language
in
this
section.
H
Okay,
well,
if
you
wanna
pull
the
permit
number
sticker,
you
can.
The
two
occupants
per
bedroom
I
would
not
pull
out
if
you
want
to
get
some
caps
and
regulations
in
this
ordinance.
So
that's
sort
of
a
standard
in
the
industry
that
we
saw
by
looking
at
internet.
I
Well,
am
I
completely
off
base
by
saying
that
this
would
prevent
me
from
if
I'm
a
the
Mama
of
a
kid
at
Mercer
medical,
and
he
wants
to
invite
his
class
over
for
dinner.
He
can't
do
that
would
is.
I
B
I
think
on
the
city
manager,
next
yeah.
L
Mary,
just
to
her
point
about
notification,
my
thought
is
that
perhaps
you
could
have
a
language
that
the
adjacent
property
owner
that
is
not
an
Airbnb
operation
or
something
like
that
on
either
side
and
that
way,
if
you've
got
three
airbnbs
together,
they've
got
to
notify.
They've
got
to
go
down
until
they
get
to
one,
that's,
not
an
Airbnb,
and
then
they
notify
them.
So
the
adjacent
property
owner
or
owner
is
on
either
side
that
that
is
not
in
Airbnb.
M
M
B
Okay,
the
are
you.
I
N
My
constituation
St
Elmo,
have
voiced
significant
opposition.
I
have
not
had
any
support
for
any
higher
limits
on
short
term
being
airbnbs.
We
we
actually
have
an
issue
where
there's
certain
blocks.
There
are
the
nicer
blocks
from
around
the
park
where
almost
the
majority
of
the
block
are
Airbnb.
So
I
was
just
wondering
if
Mr
Pruitt,
director
bro,
if
you
could
tell
me,
is,
is
20.
Is
that
already
the
number
of
licensed
ones
that
are
in
there
and
with
that
cat?
Would
that
cat
be
close
to
five
percent
I.
G
K
Yes,
I
believe
so
20
is
about
is
approximately
the
number
that
are
currently
legally
operating.
N
N
Okay,
okay,
I,
just
I
have
a
lot
of
residents
who
are
concerned
because
it
seems
to
be
particularly
in
the
Park
District.
It's
not
like
downtown,
where
it's
mostly
local
owners,
we're
having
more
like
out
of
town
California
people,
folks
that
you
can't
get
in
touch
with.
So
that's
just
the
concern
with
the
park
district.
O
O
So
really
the
we're
just
looking
at
putting
a
cap
on
the
35
legal
airbnbs
in
the
historic
district,
as
well
as
the
20
operating
or
legal
airbnbs
in
Saint
Elmo,
and
then
the
alternate
ones
we're
just
asking
for
an
extension
to
High
Uptown
250
from
five
units
to
15
units.
Just
to
let
those
units
that
are
already
in
play
go
get
their
Airbnb
licenses
so
that,
in
two
weeks,
when
we
have
our
first
reading
on
the
moratorium
we
can
sorted
out
is.
O
Thing:
okay!
So,
but
it's
just
to
expedite
it
an
extra
week
or
two
and.
O
I
B
G
B
This
is
a
fluid
document.
It's
subject
to
change.
We
can,
we
can
make
changes
at
any
time.
This
isn't
going
to
be
permanent.
So,
but
if
you
have
changes
today,
we
can
certainly
certainly
allow
those
to
go
through
if
you
want
to
pull
those.
If
you
want
to
exclude
the
items
you
were
concerned
about
regarding.
H
Well,
I
I
would
recommend
you
leave
in
for
the
time
being
a
little
subsection,
D
and
G,
because
those
are
your
occupant
limits
and
your
24-hour
definition,
which
is
consistent
with
the
other
definitions.
So
if
you
want
to
pull
out
dnf
for
more
discussion,
that's
fine.
P
Thank
you,
mayor,
Pro
tem.
Yes,
this,
you
know
the
way,
I
view.
What
we're
doing
here
is
this:
yes,
counter
kogel's
right,
we're
just
Expediting
this
a
little
bit
putting
up
a
cap
in
some
specific
areas
that
that
are
of
concern
right
now
today,
the
rest
of
what
the
moratorium
is.
Basically
it.
This
is
a
work
in
progress.
Everything
that's
being
said,
you
know
the
way
I
understand
is
the
staff
is
taking
notes
and
they're
working
on
a
new
document
to
bring
back
to
us.
P
That's
the
whole
purpose
of
the
moratorium
is
to
buy
a
little
time
to
let
the
staff
work
on
this
and
make
the
corrective
changes
and
then
bring
it
back
to
us
and
then
we'll
pass
a
complete
ordinance.
That's
all
all
is
instead
of
piecemeal
in
it
here
at
the
table.
But
what
we're
dealing
with
now
and
I,
don't
mind,
look
I,
don't
mind
taking
them
out,
but
I.
P
What
I
understand
is
what
is
being
said
at
the
table,
including
councilor
Thomas
comments
is
that
planning
is
listening
and
they're
going
to
go
back
and
make
the
adjustments
based
on
our
concerns
and
additional
concerns
there
as
well.
So,
yes,
it
could
come
back
as
a
document.
That's
changed
and
those
things
are
are
addressed,
but
at
the
same
time
I
don't
mind
taking
some
out
today,
but
they
may
come
back
with
a
a
different
rendition
or
so
to
speak
of
the
language
to
to
address
that.
So
that's
really
all
we're
trying
to
accomplish
and
I.
P
You
know
I
I
think
that's
the
right
path
to
take
and,
and
certainly
like
I
said
I.
Think
staff
is
listening
to
all
these
concerns
and
they
have
some
things
that
they
want
to
address
as
well
and
and
they'll
bring
us
a
document
back
I,
don't
for
foresee
that
the
moratorium
is
going
to
go
as
long
as
90
days,
but
it
just
buys
our
staff
who's
extremely
tied
down
with
a
lot
of
Majors
buys
them
a
little
time
that
they
can
straighten
it
out
and
bring
it
back
to
us.
J
Thank
you
attorney,
please,
my
understanding
of
occupancy
is
overnight
stay
so
you
can
have
guests
like
it
says
two
plus
two
per
room
plus
one
and
that's
two
per
bedroom
plus
one
because
occupants
sleep
there,
but
guests
do
not.
So
that's
why
the
two
plus
one
is
for
occupancy.
J
But
then
you
can
have
guests
over
so
like
in
my
properties
that
I
manage
there's
the
occupancy
of
two
plus
one,
but
they
have
guests
over
when
they
at
Christmas
time
at
Thanksgiving,
at
birthdays
they
have
guests
over
and
so
I
don't
have
a
problem
with
the
two
plus
one
occupancy.
But
if
we're
trying
to
say
that
the
two
plus
one
occupancy
is
to
limit
you
know
the
party
houses,
then
we
need
more
language
in
there
to
talk
about
how
many
guests
cannot
come
over
well.
I
I
I
guess
councilor
Crabb.
That
shows
my
concern.
When
I
read
this
occupants
to
me
meant
people
in
the
house,
whoever
they
are,
whatever
their
status
is
they're
occupying
the
house
and
you're
more
legalistic
I
guess
is
they're
sleeping
there
I'm,
not
sure
that
the
that
everybody
understands
the
that
nuance
and
so
I'm,
hoping
that
councilor
Davis
is
correct,
that
the
planning
department
is
going
to
go
back
and
bring
us
something.
That's
a
lot
clearer
than
this,
but.
J
And
so
it's
something
I
I
agree
with
you
on.
You
know
if
we're
trying,
what
are
we
trying
to
accomplish
with
with
this
portion
of
the
ordinance
and
if
it's
to
limit
how
many
people
earn
to
limit
it
to
be
not
allow
it
to
be
a
party
house,
then
we
need
some
additional
language
other
than
the
two
plus
one
occupancy.
That's.
I
J
My
opinion
so
I
I
wanted
to
change
my
Amendment
to
where
I'm
just
amending
this,
to
remove
those
three
areas
of
concern
so
that
we
can
go
ahead
and
we
can
approve
this
for
the
Caps
today
and
then
we
can
always
reintroduce
these
portions
of
it
later
so
I'd
like
to
withdraw
my
my
Amendment
and
restate
it
to
remove
d
e
and
f
are
those
the
three
that
we
were
talking
about
Okay.
So
that's
I
would
like
to
revise
my
motion.
The.
I
I'm
wondering
if
Mr
Pruitt
or
Mr
Johnson
has
well.
B
B
H
J
B
Makes
sense,
there's
no
there's
there
will
be
no
no
permit
sticker
on
the
window.
There
would
be
no,
you
would
allow
changes
in
the
dwelling
appearance.
That
kind
of
thing.
D
No,
my
my
question
was:
what's
the
you
know,
that's
my
timeline.
When
are
we
looking
at
bringing
this
back
up
for
discussion?
I
was
telling
councilor
crab
one
of
the
things
that
I
noticed
in
another
ordinance.
Is
it
defined
bedrooms
you
know?
Is
it
can
we
send
you
some
of
the
things
that
you
know
we've
seen
in
some
of
the
you
know
ones
yeah
like
a
bedroom
is
not
a
kitchen
or
well
a
room
considered
for
I
can
to
see
it's
not
a
kitchen
or
a
bathroom.
F
B
Think
councilor
crab
helped
us
with
that
last
meeting
regarding
if
you
have
a
futon
or
a
fold
out
in
a.
B
K
Council
Tucker,
you
can
follow
me
and
send
us
any
information
that
you
have
or
thoughts.
You
know,
I,
don't
I
doubt
we
would
be
ready
at
the
14th
February
14th
council
meeting.
You
know,
but
certainly
the
end
of
February.
The
first
meeting
in
March
I
think
we
could
come
back
with
an
update
or
you
know,
kind
of
give
a
status
of
where
we
are
in
in
those
revisions.
B
P
You
know
look
I'm,
no
legal
expert
but
I.
Think
in
the
industry
I'm
in
we
term
occupancy,
as
overnight
stays.
I
believe
and
I
may
be
wrong
on
the
dwelling
side
it
might
be
capacity
is
the
limit
when
you're
dealing
with
life
safety.
You
know
the
number
of
people
that
can
be
in
a
building
on
any
one
time.
I
think
is
term
capacity,
but
occupancy
I
think
legally
is
is
being
is,
is
the
meaning
of
that
is
overnight
overnight.
P
K
J
Thank
you,
sir.
Maybe
the
capacity
can
be
based
on
not
the
number
of
bedrooms,
but
the
square
footage,
so
so
we
set
up
some
guidelines
on
occupants
are
based
on
the
number
of
bedrooms
and
capacity
is
based
on
the
square
footage,
because
it's
going
to
change
if
it
by
the
size
of
the
the
property.
B
I
B
H
H
Well,
the
caps
that
are
contained
in
the
ordinance
are
effective
today.
Now
my
approaching
them,
if
you
want
to,
we
could
pull
up
the
moratorium,
ordinance.
I
know
we
have
one
person
that
wants
to
be
heard.
This
is
item
number
10.
H
B
Okay,
if
you'll
give
your
name
and
address.
Q
Teresa
alamin

steam,
Mill
Road.
Q
Columbus
is
a
real
estate
town
I've
lived
here
for
12
years,
I'm
struck
by
how
many
of
you
are
in
real
estate
and
I.
Think
you
all
should
disclose
to
the
public
who,
among
you
own
rental
property
who,
among
you,
my
own
airbnbs,
because
what
I
know
is
going
on
in
Columbus.
Right
now
is
that
the
airbnbs
are
being
used
as
interim
housing.
Q
It's
interim
housing
for
people
who
are
being
evicted
and
are
unhoused
and
you
are
putting
a
Band-Aid
on
a
housing
problem
in
this
community.
I
am
stunned
to
hear
the
proliferation
of
airbnbs
over
the
last
few
years.
I
was
talking
to
somebody
in
Lake
Bottom
a
couple
of
days
ago,
and
she
was
identifying
all
the
airbnbs
in
her
neighborhood
I
watched
last
week's
meeting
when
all
those
people
were
here
from
a
historic
district
talking
about
all
the
airbnbs
in
their
neighborhood,
it's
becoming
a
town
of
many
hope.
Many
motels
I
think
someone
used
that
term.
Q
If
you
can't
get
control
of
Licensing
the
people
who
are
doing
business
as
airbnbs,
how
are
you
going
to
enforce
a
moratorium
on
airbnbs
everybody,
pops
up
and
doesn't
Airbnb
whenever
they
want
to?
How
can
you
enforce
a
moratorium
or
no
new
airbnbs
when
you
have
people
who
are
unlicensed
and
running
airbnbs?
Q
This
is
a
ridiculous
compensation.
You're
not
dealing
with
the
quality
of
life
problem
that
is
directly
connected
to
homelessness
of
14
increase
in
homelessness
based
on
the
United
Way
count:
eight
children
homeless
last
year,
36
homeless
this
year.
That's
what's
been
identified.
You
are
not
doing
the
people's
business.
If
you
don't
see
the
Airbnb
problem,
it's
part
of
the
larger
housing
problem,
there's
not
enough.
Q
Affordable
housing
I
have
never
been
in
a
city
where
I'm
with
so
many
ordinary
citizens,
own
rental,
property,
nurses,
teachers,
everybody
owns
rental
property
in
this
community,
probably
most
of
you
so,
first
of
all,
let's
just
close
how
much
real
estate
interests
is
sitting
up
here.
That's
what
I
want
to
hear,
but
this
moratorium
on
an
Airbnb
on
the
Airbnb
is
ridiculous.
You
got
so
many
unlicensed
airbnbs.
Q
If
you
don't
have
a
plan
for
what
you're
gonna
do
in
the
90
days
to
get
control
of
the
situation,
you're
wasting
your
time
and
you're
diminishing
the
quality
of
life
for
the
citizens
of
Columbus,
Georgia
I
know.
What's
going
on,
I
know:
what's
going
on,
I
have
never
seen
so
many
homeless
families.
In
my
life
they
showed
up
last
week
at
the
library
we're
gonna
come
we're.
Gonna
come
I'm
speaking
on
some
Lords
on
the
14th,
but
this
moratorium
is
a
joke.
Q
H
H
H
H
H
There
she
is,
this-
would
delegate
authority
to
the
tax
commissioner
to
refund
penalty
and
interest
paid
on
second
installments
of
property
tax.
So.
B
H
So
you
Council
has
delegated
The
Authority
for
Tax
Commissioner
to
waive
the
penalty
and
interest.
That
was
the
first
part
of
this
equation
that
you
had
already
done
and
now
you've
delegated
the
refund
of
penalty
and
interest
paid
on
the
second
installment,
so
miss
Huff.
You
have
that
Authority
and
you're
good
to
go
with
that.
F
H
P
L
We
are,
as
you
know,
we
acquired
Synovus
Property
New
City
Hall,
and
we
actually
have
won
it
less
than
10
months,
but
the
minimum
we
could
get
by
with
is
10
months
because
we're
going
to
move
into
that
City
Hall
and
we
do
anticipate
starting
to
transition
in
May
of
this
year.
And
of
course
this
is
going
to
go
beyond
me.
But
we're
going
to
move
the
Health
and
Wellness
Center
into
our
new
facility.
B
L
Okay,
so
next,
if
I
I
have
got
I'm,
sorry
no.
L
Next
I've
got
a
couple
of
purchases,
a
side
load
of
refuse
truck
bodies
and
we're
asking
to
purchase
additional
options
for
refuse
truck
bodies.
5993.11
cents
per
unit
and
for
40
units
is
239.
L
It
and
motion
to
approve.
L
And
Thomas.
I
City
manager,
on
the
the
cameras,
are
we
pretty
much
set
on
phase
one
we've
got
all
of
those
pretty
much
in
place.
M
I
L
Mayor
Pro
Tim,
if
I
may
I'm
gonna,
if
you
will
allow
me
I'm
gonna,
have
a
deputy
city
manager.
Goodwin.
Excuse
me
Hodge
to
talk
about
the
tour
today
that
we
have
scheduled
talk
to
you
about.
I
just
want
her
to
mention
for
the
public.
The
schedule.
B
R
Morning,
mayor
and
Council,
so
we're
excited
about
this
tour.
Today
we
have
selected
just
a
few
of
our
local
developers
to
talk
to
you
about
what's
going
on
in
their
particular
development.
This
is
not
an
all-inclusive
list.
We
have
a
lot
of
local
developers
here
in
Columbus,
so
we
are
going
to
hit
some
of
the
highlights.
R
That's
going
on
in
Columbus
and
I
know:
I've
left
people
off
so
I
apologize
for
that
we
are
going
to
leave
the
city
services
Center
go
through
Miss
Muskogee
Technology
Park,
we'll
have
a
representative
from
the
chamber
in
the
Development
Authority
talk
about.
What's
going
on
in
the
Muskogee
Technology
Park,
we
will
go
to
Midland,
Commons
Chris,
Whiteman
developer,
we'll
talk
about
Midland
Commons.
We
will
go
to
Old,
Town
Greystone
point
will
white
will
be
joining
us.
R
We
will
stop
at
Comer
for
lunch
much
and
we
will
go
to
the
mill
District,
Justin,
Krieg
and
Brad
Turner
will
be
joining
us.
We'll
also
hear
from
the
Housing
Authority
about
the
development
that
they're
doing
in
the
mill
District.
We
will
go
to
Uptown
here
from
Pace
halter,
as
well
as
Jason
Gamache
on
the
developments.
That's
going
on
in
the
Uptown
area,
we
will
also
take
a
tour
of
City
Hall
you'll,
get
to
see
the
under
construction
City
Hall.
L
And
we
do
encourage
the
media
to
join
us.
They
can
travel
along
behind
us
and
if
we've
got
room
on
the
bus,
they're
welcome
to
get
on
the
bus.
But
we
are
inviting
the
media
because
these
people,
just
and
and
as
the
deputy
city
manager
pointed
out.
This
is
just
a
short
list
of
those
who
are
investing
in
Columbus
Georgia
every
single
day
and
they're
spending
billions
of
dollars
in
creating
jobs
and
and
just
making
Columbus
what
we
want
it
to
be,
and
we
appreciate
their
Investments
and
and
their
love
for
our
city.
L
B
S
S
S
S
S
S
S
Thank
you,
Council
Thomas.
Next
we
have
Council
appointments.
Sending
nominations
will
be
listed
for
the
next
meeting
board
of
zoning
appeals.
Councilor
Davis
is
renominating
Mr
Alfred
Hayes,
and
we
will
bring
this
back
for
confirmation
for
the
building
authority
of
Columbus.
We
have
the
seats
of
Leila,
Carr
and
Vincent.
Allen
votes
are
open
for
nominations
on
the
commission
on
international
relations
and
culturally
liaison
encounters.
We
have
Mr
John
Jackson.
He
is
interested
in
serving
another
term
as
well
as
Mary
quiller.
S
B
F
S
S
We
had
the
seat
of
Katie
Bishop
she's
not
eligible
to
serve
another
term.
This
city
is
open
for
nomination
and
Council
Crabb
is
nominating
Jennifer
lab
lamb
for
the
seat
of
Claire
Berry
as
the
board
of
realtors
representative,
and
she
may
be
confirmed
for
this
meeting.
N
E
D
J
I
have
a
question
for
you:
Miss
Davis,
there's
certain
boards
that
employees
serve
on
and
then
I've
been
told
that
there's
certain
board
there
that
employees
cannot
serve
on
boards.
So
can
you
clarify
for
us
the
boards
that
employees
can
serve
on
and
then
I
would
assume
that
any
that
you
do
not
state
employees
cannot
serve
on
those
boards?
Yes,.
S
Council
Crabb,
as
a
general
rule,
see
the
employees
are
not
allowed
to
serve
on
City
boards.
However,
as
I
stated,
there
are
exceptions
to
that
rule.
We
have
certain
boards
that
are
slated
specifically
for
city
employees
to
serve
on
the
ones
that
come
to
mind.
Is
the
employees
health
benefits
committee,
the
retirees
health
benefits
committee,
457
compensation,
deferred
board.
S
Are
employee
related
type
boards
and
I
do
know
that
crime
prevention
also
has
city
employees
that
serve
on
it,
and
so
okay.
J
I
Didn't
want
to
speak
to
councilor
Krebs
question,
for
example
the
crime
prevention
board
that
that
the
city
clerk
the
clerk
mentioned
the
the
employee
who
serves
on
that
represents
Public
Safety.
S
That
is
correct,
councilor
Thomas,
that's
the
law
enforcement
member
of
law
enforcement
serves
in
one
position
on
that
on
the
crime
convention
board.
So
that
is
correct.
I
And
so
they
would
be
an
employee
of
the
city,
but
in
any
in
any
board.
I
would
assume
that
that
it
has
to
be
if
an
employee
serves
on
the
board,
except
for
the
employee
communities
that
the
clerk
spoke
of
it
has
to
be
named
in
the
board.
B
G
And
thank
you
mayor,
Pro
tem,
just
a
question
for
clarification
from
my
understanding
for
the
the
people
that
we
nominated
for
the
historic
and
Architectural
Review
we're
going
to
vote
at
the
next
meeting.
So
then
Jennifer
Lam
was
nominated.
Is
that
right,
or
was
she
elected
to
the
board.
F
S
Are
on
the
ones
that
are
representative
of
organizations,
the
council
May
approve
those
okay
all
right.
Thank
you.
