Connections,
I
am
your
host
David
Britt
and,
as
you
know,
in
Georgia
the
film
industry
is
exploding.
Almost
every
movie
that
you
see
that's
an
action.
Film
is
filmed
in
Atlanta
and
we've
also
had
a
lot
a
good
number
of
great
movies
filmed
here
in
Columbus
Georgia
in
the
past
couple
years.
So
if
you've
ever
had
a
student,
a
child
interested
in
the
film
industry,
this
is
a
very
lucrative
Place.
Well,
there's
an
organization
that
is
not
only
getting
kids
into
the
film
industry,
but
using
that
love
for
film
to
help
fight
violence.
A
B
A
B
Well,
we
found
that
in
our
research
is
that
a
lot
of
the
kids
are
not
able
to
do
basketball
or
do
football,
so
we
want
to
introduce
them
to
the
Arts
and
what
we
do
is
through
shoot
film,
not
guns.
We
do
careers
in
film
workshops
and
we
teach
them
about
behind
the
scenes.
Workshops
in
the
film
industry
right.
A
Because
there's
so
much
stuff
behind
the
scenes
that
you
know
kids
may
already
be
doing,
like
you
mentioned
a
little
bit
about
how
you
got
started,
because
some
kids
that
you
were
working
with
were
doing
filming
things
and
you
took
that
and
how
to
make
it
a
great
and
a
positive
thing
to
do
so.
Many
kids
do
filming
on
Tick,
Tock
and
other
social
media
apps.
So
many
kids
do
makeup
and
things
like
that,
just
in
their
own
homes
and
those
are
things
that
are
lucrative
high-paying
jobs
in
the
film
industry,
correct.
B
B
The
scene
stuff
that
the
film
The
Industry
requires
what
they
don't
know
is
how
to
monetize
it
right,
and
they
don't
understand
the
fact
that
they
can
go
on
a
website
and
create
a
film
and
create
a
an
opportunity
for
them
to
make
make
money
right.
So
what
we
do
is
our
careers
in
film.
We
teach
them
how
to
go
on.
These
film
sets
be
ready
to
go
on
film
sets
and
do
there's
different
careers.
A
Yeah
and
it's
so
interesting
because,
like
you
said
so,
many
kids
now
are
creating
content
at
four
years
old,
five
years
old,
they're
they're
doing
like
video
editing,
they're
doing
that.
So
they
have
that
that
experience
of
getting
in
front
of
a
camera
creating
content
and
delivering
it
to
your
audience.
But,
like
we
said
it's
monetizing
it
and
it's
that
professional
aspect
of
what
you
have
to
do
to
get
onto
that
actual
film
set
and.
B
A
lot
of
these
jobs
and
these
careers
in
the
film
industry
don't
require
four
years
of
college
right.
They
can
get
certified
by
getting
on
the
job
training.
They
can
also
get
certification
at
a
technical
college,
which
Georgia
has
the
Georgia
Film
Academy,
which
allows
them
to
complete
the
training
in
a
very
short
time,
and
then
it
can
be
on
it
can
be
working
yeah.
A
B
We're
going
to
be
doing
here
in
Columbus
is
doing
our
shoot
film,
not
guns,
youth
initiative,
we're
doing
the
Workshops.
The
workshops
are
currently
doing
every
week
at
the
boys
and
girls
club
and
what
we'll
do
is
we'll
teach
the
kids
the
different
careers
and
then,
at
the
end
of
the
session,
the
kids
will
be
able
to
create
a
film
a
short
film,
maybe
10,
to
15
minutes
long
they'll
be
able
to
create
a
film
doing
everything
from
casting
acting,
filming,
editing,
hair
and
makeup
wardrobe.
A
B
Mainly
looking
for
middle
school
and
high
school
kids,
those
are
the
kids
that
seem
to
really
into
the
Tick
Tock
and
and
the
videos
and
they're
the
ones
that
are
that
are
really
into
it.
So
those
are
the
kids
that
we're
targeting.
B
B
The
kids
can
there's
no
charge
for
the
kids
for
the
teenagers
to
sign
up
and
become
a
member
of
the
Boys
and
Girls
Club,
so
that
would
help
gotcha
everybody
that
helps
everybody
in
the
community.
Gotcha.
A
A
B
It's
craft
Services.
We
also
do
the
production,
we
do
directing
workshops,
we
do
location
Scouts,
we
do
well,
you
said
hair
and
makeup
and
that's
also
special
effects
or
or
very
true
special
effects
through
makeup
yeah.
You
know
so
they're
they're
plenty
of
opportunities
for
these
kids
lighting,
sound
music
soundtrack.
We
have
to
have
music
for
they
choose
music
for
for
these
different
films
right.
So
there's
an
opportunity
just
about
for
everybody
to
really
showcase
their
talents.
Gotcha.
A
So
they
can
reach
out
to
you
guys,
or
could
they
also
reach
out
to
those
Boys
and
Girls
Clubs
for
information
as
well
correct,
gotcha,
correct,
again
again
great
things
going
on
for
our
youth.
The
film
industry
is
probably
something
that
your
kid
is
already
doing,
whether
it's
hair
makeup
special
effects.
A
They
know
about
that
more
about
that
phone
and
its
Electronics
than
all
of
us
do
so
why
not
show
them
how
great
way
to
get
off
the
streets
to
get
out
of
doing
things
that
are
unproductive
and
put
something
that
is
very
productive
that
can
actually
possibly
land
in
Monroe
or
land
them
a
job
in
the
field
industry.
Thank
you
for
watching
