Would
like
to
thank
those
of
you
that
brought
items
of
food
and
donated
toys
for
the
West
Valley
Community
Services
Agency.
They
greatly
appreciate
your
generosity.
I
would
like
to
take
this
opportunity
to
acknowledge
our
City
Council
and,
if
you
look
around,
hopefully
they
can
give
away
over
here
to
the
left
of
the
stage
we
have
honorable
honorable
mayor,
Stephen,
sharp.
A
Councilmember
John
Willie's
in
the
back
of
the
room,
councilmember
rod
sinks.
Are
you
here
we
appreciate
all
of
them.
They
do
a
phenomenal
job.
We
also
have
our
wonderful
city
manager,
Deborah
thing
in
the
back
of
the
room
and
I'd
like
to
acknowledge
our
Parks
and
Recreation
commissioners,
chair
parks,
Erick,
commission,
Nisha,
Tom,
babe,
Gopal,
Kumar,
Robin,
Mina's,
Zoo,
Helene,
Davis
and
Carol
Stanek.
Thank
you.
If
you're
out
there
in
the
crowd,
we
appreciate
all
you
do
we
also
have
planning
Commissioner
Kitty
more
in
the
back
of
the
room.
Thank
you
and
I
hope.
B
B
Well,
this
is
always
an
exciting
event.
Last
year,
I
think
we
had
it
outside,
but
in
case
of
rain
we
moved
it
inside
I,
don't
see
Santa
Claus
arriving
yet
I
don't
see
a
chimney,
but
I
think
I
think
around.
Here
he
comes
in
through
the
air
conditioner
because
there
is
no
chimney
in
this
building.
So
look
he
might
come
in
through
that
vent
up
there,
I'm
not
sure
I.
B
B
B
C
A
I
would
like
to
acknowledge
one
of
our
Santa's
elves
over
here
Carol's
Stanek,
Parks
and
Rec
Commissioner.
You
want
to
give
a
wave
okay,
tonight's
event
kicks
off
the
holiday
season
here
in
the
city
of
Cupertino.
I
would
like
to
acknowledge
our
amazing
Public
Works
Department.
We
could
not
do
this
event
without
their
help.
A
Public
Works
Department
the
tree
division
in
particular,
pains
the
lights
on
the
tree
and,
believe
me,
this
is
not
an
easy
task,
especially
with
the
weather
we've
been
having
this
past
week.
The
Public
Works
facility
division
helps
us
with
the
inside
large
tree.
That's
displayed
right
here
in
that
lobby
of
the
Quinlan
community
center.
Let's
give
a
round
of
applause
to
our
public
works
department.
A
A
We
will
have
a
special
movie
shrimp,
the
halls
who
likes
shrek
the
halls
I
like
that
one
wait,
a
minute
wait,
a
minute.
Everybody
stop
I
need
everybody's
attention.
I
need
everybody's
attention.
There
is
something
missing
from
this
list.
We
have
cookies
and
hot
chocolate.
We
have
crafts,
we
have
a
movie,
we
have
the
tree
lighting.
A
A
I
know
this
is
the
problem
right:
okay,
here's
the
good
news,
because
I'm
a
mom
I
have
his
phone
number
okay,
this
time
of
year,
I
keep
that
phone
number
on
speed,
dial,
hey
right
here!
This
is
the
right
mom.
Does
every
mom
in
the
audience
have
Santa
on
speed
dial
at
home
right
because
in
December
you
have
to
behave
right,
Wright's,
mom's,
okay,
let's
see
if
we
can
call
up
Santa
and
make
sure
he's
planning
on
coming
by
for
a
visit.
A
Uh-Oh
it's
ringing,
Shh
I
can't
hear
I
can't
hear
with
all
this
chatter,
hello,
hello,
mrs.
Claus,
mrs.
Claus.
This
is
Christine
from
the
city
of
Cupertino
is
Santa.
There
I
need
to
talk
to
him.
This
is
very,
very
important.
Okay,
hi
Santa
is
that
you
are
you
eating
cookies,
okay,
anyways
Santa.
We
have
our
tree
lighting
tonight
and
I
was
reviewing
the
agenda
and
you're
not
on
the
agenda,
so
I
thought
I'd,
better,
call
you
and
make
sure
you're
gonna
be
here,
because
I
think
I
have
a
million
children
here
right.
A
A
Okay,
so
he
has
a
ways
to
get
here.
He's
got
to
get
those
reindeer
hooked
up
on
the
sleigh
right,
so
maybe
what
we
can
do
is
maybe
business
casual
has
a
song
that
they
can
sing
that
might
lure
Santa
our
way,
so
he
doesn't
get
lost.
What
do
you
think
business
casual?
Can
you
help
us
out?
You
guys
can
do
this.
You've
got
this.
C
A
Santé,
there's
a
big
storm
coming
tonight
and
we
were
worried
you
weren't
gonna,
make
it
I,
know:
okay
Santa.
This
is
what
we
need
from
you
tonight.
We
need
your
help
lighting
our
tree,
and
we
have
this
handy,
handy,
dandy,
light
switch
right
up
here
on
the
stage
that
Santa's
gonna
help
turn
on
the
lights
mayor
come
on
up.
We
need
your
help.
This
is
a
big
job
for
Santa.
A
C
A
A
A
Special
thanks
to
all
of
you
for
coming
out
tonight.
Please
stick
around
enjoy
the
festivities.
Thank
you
special
thank
you
to
business,
casual
for
the
musical
entertainment
and
thank
you
to
everyone
who
donated
to
West
Valley
Community
Services,
on
behalf
of
the
city
of
Cupertino,
Happy,
Holidays
and
much
peace
and
joy
to
you
all.
Thank
you.
