From YouTube: Dearborn Heights City Council - 4/13/21
Description
The Dearborn Heights City Council Meeting taking place Tuesday, April 13th 2021 via Zoom.
A
B
Yes,
just
a
reminder
to
our
council
to
state
where
you
are
currently
located
after
you
say
here:
dave
abdullah.
H
I
F
A
A
By
councilman
and
bill
hawk,
is
there
any
discussion,
all
those
in
favor
say:
aye
aye,
those
opposed
the
eyes
have
it.
Next
we
have
public
hearing
and
comment
on
agenda
items.
There
is
a
two
minute
limit
and
I'm
going
to
ask
the
clerk's
office
to
keep
track
of
that.
For
me
and
council
members
cannot
respond
back
to
anything.
That's
said
you
need
to
state
your
name,
city,
county
and
state.
K
Hi
kim
constant
from
wayne
county
michigan
gilbert
heights.
I
would
like
to
ask
the
council
to
send
back
7b
to
me.
K
I
had
just
found
out
that
I'd
actually
need
to
do
a
site
survey,
in
addition
to
the
other
things
that
we
have
on
the
bid
specs,
and
I
need
to
add
that,
but
also
I
was
out
there
at
the
park
at
least
a
couple
of
times,
and
the
play
structure
was
very
very
busy
with
all
of
the
kids
and
I'd
hate
to
like
have
the
whole
summer
with
the
playground
equipment
tour
up.
K
So
I
think
I
would
rather
start
it
I'm
thinking
in
august,
so
that
that
is
the
other
reason
I
will
be
coming
back
to
the
council
when
we
have
the
budget
hearing
for
the
parks
and
recreation
department,
because
I
would
like
to
request
to
carry
over
the
hundred
and
five
thousand
dollars
for
the
project
to
the
2021
22
budget.
So.
K
Of
what
my
idea
is,
I
don't
I
don't
want
to
leave
them
all
summer
without
anything
to
plan.
We've
made
some
repairs
of
the
the
play
structure
and
the
park
fence
and
stuff
like
that,
and
I
think
it's
you
know
we'll
keep
an
eye
on
it.
It'll
be
in.
You
know,
okay
shape
to
use
for
the
summer,
but
that's
it
for.
K
C
C
All
right
for
the
council,
people
that
were
not
allowed
to
comment
on
this,
so
one
of
the
council
person,
I'm
not
going
to
name
the
person
if
you
could
take
your
hand
down.
If
you
don't
mind
next
person
up
is
michael.
N
Okay,
this
is
on
11
a
I'm.
I'm
disappointed
in
seeing
11a
hoping
that
city
council
would
make
the
tough
decision
and
take
a
vote
on
it
either
way.
City
council
is
elected
to
make
these
tough
decisions.
State
council
should
be
making
this
decision.
It
should
not
be
up
for
residents
to
make
this
decision,
and
I
will
remember
who
does
not
want
to
make
the
decisions
for
the
for
for
the
city
in
the
future.
Thank
you.
O
Hi,
I
also
have
a
question
with
11a,
and
that
is:
it
has
been
suggested
by
various
council
members
that
we
could
put
well,
actually,
they
didn't
say
a
millage,
but
that's
what
it
would
take
to
increase
our
taxes
and
raise
the
money
to
keep
9-1-1
here.
O
Question
is
if
this
is
put
out
to
a
vote.
My
understanding
is
all
the
detail
has
to
be
filed
for
the
campaign
and
for
anything
being
put
on
the
ballot
by
the
end
of
june.
So
would
that
include
a
millage,
or
is
it
just
a
decision
with
absolutely
no
financial
backing
or
understanding
of
what
it's
going
to
take?
O
I
just
want
clarification
on
exactly
what's
being
voted
here,
so
that
if
we
do
have
comments
or
questions,
we
can
make
intelligent
ones.
Thank
you.
C
Thank
you
lisa.
Next
up
we
have
demon
heights
resident,
dana
parish
go
out,
dana.
P
Good
evening,
dana
parish
greenlee
park,
dearborn
heights,
michigan
wayne
county
lisa
kind
of
beat
me
to
the
punch
there
on
the
911
dispatch
ballot
item.
We
do
need
to
know
if
there
is
an
alternative
if
we
decide
to
keep
the
system
in
the
city
of
dearborn
heights.
If
we're
going
to
vote
on,
we
do
need
to
know
the
costs
and,
if
there's
going
to
be
a
millage,
our
vote,
these
items
need
to
be
put
out
there
prior
to
us
as
residents
voting
on
it.
P
We
need
to
make
a
informed
ballot
decision
before
just
thrown
out
there
for
us
to
vote
on
and
to
have
people
say
well
the
residents
you
voted
on,
it's
your
bag.
So,
if
we're
going
to
vote
on
it,
we
want
all
the
facts.
First
11b,
I
strongly
disagree
with
11b.
P
C
C
Q
Oh,
this
is
kristin
rockinson's
dearborn
heights
wayne
county
michigan
90
for
the
approval
to
dispose
used
equipment,
if
that's
the
tables
and
chairs
and
desks
and
stuff.
Like
that,
I
know
other
cities
and
past
employers
have
put
those
out
for
residents
to
bid
on
and
sell
for
you
know
between
five
and
25
and
they've
raised
a
lot
of
money
for
slush
funds
and
stuff
like
that,
and
so
you
guys
might
want
to
consider
doing
something
like
that,
rather
than
just
trashing
them.
C
C
C
Okay,
you
can't
see
anybody
who's
gonna,
handle
anybody
all
right,
see,
none
all
those
in
favor
say
aye
aye,
all
those
opposed
the
a's
have
it.
Next
item
is
number
seven
consideration
a
bit
next
item
on
the
agenda.
We
have
consideration
of
bids
parks
and
recreation
director
constant
request
for
bids
furnishing
and
installing
ecore
equal
nights.
Eight
millimeter
rubber
floor
at
the
richard,
a
young
center
in
the
fitness
room
council
council,
pro
tem
councilman
ray
moscat.
G
I'm
on
the
dearborn
head
city
council
authorize
the
comptroller's
office
to
advertise
for
bids
for
the
furnishing
and
installing
of
the
ecor
eco
knight,
eight
millimeter
rubber
floors
at
the
richard,
a
young
center
in
a
fitness
room.
The
funds
of
this
project
are
the
220
221
richard.
A
young
center
capital
outlay
account,
as
outlined
in
7a,
support.
C
Okay,
all
those
in
favor,
I'm
sorry,
a
discussion
council
pro
tem
councilman,
moby
doom.
E
I
just
want
the
residents
to
know
that
I
had
a
great
conversation
with
director
constand.
I
actually
spoke
for
about
48
minutes,
if
I'm
not
mistaken,
maybe
49
pushing
there
and
we
spoke
about
the
richard
a
young
center,
and
I
know
that
she
wasn't
able
to
speak
the
last
at
the
last
meeting
when
I
brought
it
up
and
she
really
did
clear
up
a
lot
of
those
things
for
me
seeing
that
she's,
you
know
digging
in
real
deep
going
for
the
floor.
E
I
believe
there
are
other
things
on
here
that
she's
going
to
do.
I
just
want
to
recognize
her
and
thank
her
for
doing
that
and
really
putting
her.
You
know
both
foot
both
of
her
feet
forward
for
the
richard
a
song
center,
because
I
know
that's
that
was
built
in
1994
and
it's
she's
really
moving
that
forward
so
to
director
constant.
I
really
thank
you
for
that.
A
N
A
B
Well,
the
agenda
was
approved
with
it
on
there.
I
think
director
constant
asked
that
it
be
referred
back
to
her
okay,
so
we
still
have
to
make
a
motion
on
it.
G
G
I
move
that
seven
be
referred
back
to
recreation.
Director
kim
concert,
support.
A
C
C
Abdellah
I
moved
that
the
redwood
heights
city
council
authorized
the
comptroller's
office
to
advertise
for
bids
for
the
refinishing
of
the
gym
floor
at
the
richard
a
young
center.
The
funds
for
this
project
are
in
the
richard.
A
young
center
capital
outlay
account
as
outlined
in
item
7c,.
C
Just
want
to
give
a
quick
shout
out
to
our
director
constant,
I'm
calling
her
action
jackson
because
a
lot
of
actions
a
lot
of
activities,
so
I
I
like
the
direction
this
is
going
and
hope
and
pray
that
we
continue
to
go
in
that
direction.
So
thank
you,
director,
constant.
E
They
do
so,
and
this
is
the
question
to
director
continent.
I
wanted
to
call
you
and
ask
you
before
so
now.
When
we're
doing
this
gymnasium
floor,
are
they
going
to
fix
the
spots?
I
know
there
were
some
dead
spots
that
I
spoke
about
the
last
meeting.
I
want
to
call
you
about
it,
I'm
sorry
to
even
ask
you
about
this
here.
If
you
want
to
ask
me
later
or
answer
it
later,
if
you
don't
know
the
details,
that's
fine!
I'm
sorry
for
even
asking
you
here.
K
Well,
that's,
okay!
I
can
certainly
answer
it.
I
believe,
and
so
does
the
floor
company
that
I
I
talk
to
that
the
problem
comes
from
so
many
different
layers
of
polyurethane
that
we
have
on
the
floor
and
because
it's
so
thick
and
and
you
know,
you've
been
down
there-
you've
seen
the
floor.
You
can
see
how
thick
it
is
that
both
of
us
believe.
That's
why
that's
happening.
K
Of
course,
we
won't
know
really
truly
for
sure
until
it's
all
completely
done,
but
they
are
going
to
be
sanding
all
the
way
down
to
the
wood
and
then
putting
just
the
three
coats
on
that
we
need.
Two
of
them
will
be
the
sealer
and
then
the
third
will
be
the
the
top
coat
okay.
A
G
I
moved
that
the
city
council
authorized
the
public
hearings
for
the
proposed
21
to
my
reading
or
right.
One.
R
C
F
B
The
eyes
man,
I'm
sure
who
seconded
that
one
councilman
abdullah,
you
know.
A
F
A
G
But
I
I
specif
specifically
remember
that
council
didn't
want
the
meters
in
that
bond
and
and
and
if
that
you
know,
and
if
it
does
end
up
in
the
bond
I'd
like
to
know
how
the
residents
are
going
to
be
paying
for
the
the
meters
themselves,
is
it
going
to
be
a
percentage
of
their
bill,
or
is
it
just
going
to
be
a
flat
rate
on
what
the
meter
cost
before
I
get
into
this
I'd
like
to
have
that
question
answered
by
someone.
F
F
Yeah,
I
think
we
need
to
approve
the
engagement
letter
and
then
plant
moran
can
answer
that.
I
too
councilman
abdullah,
had.
I
thought,
a
good
idea
of
putting
off
the
new
meters,
because
it's
just
an
added
expense
and
who
knows
what
is
ahead
economically,
but
it's
it's
all
part
of
the
bond
and
then
the
bond
gets
satisfied.
D
C
R
So
the
meters
have
always
been
part
of
this
bond
proposal.
You
go
all
the
way
back
to
when
we
started
these
conversations.
How
they
get
paid
for
is
through
the
rate
process.
R
G
Council
chair,
you
know,
I'm
still
part
of
my
question
here.
I
I
do
believe
council
did
not
want
to
have
the
the
meters
in
and
and
the
amount
of
the
amount
of
the
bond
had
dropped
to
almost
like
15
million
instead
of
25
million,
but
again
that
that's
beside
the
point,
I
just
want
to
know
how
the
people
are
going
to
pay
for
that
portion
of
the
bond.
G
R
G
C
Council
chairs
your
internet
working.
Are
you
back
on?
No,
don't
look
like
it
doesn't.
Look
like
it.
Okay,
it
doesn't
look
like
it.
Councilman
robert
constant,
go
ahead.
F
S
C
C
I
was
getting
my
personal
opinion
on
the
councilman
is
the
problem
is
how
much
the
cost
of
that
is,
and
with
the
economic
situation
that
we
are
in
right
now,
I'm
not
sure
if
some
people
will
be
able
to
afford
that
in
one
lump
sum.
If.
R
John
god
yeah!
Well
I
I
mean
I
don't
know
if
there's
a
there's,
a
right
or
wrong
way
to
do
it,
but
the
thought
process
was
that
you
sell
the
bond
it's
over
20
years.
It's
a
20-year
payback
for
the
meter,
so
it's
not
a
significant
hit
to
to
the
end
user
for
those
new
meters.
D
D
There
is
echo,
I
think,
somebody
who
has
several
kids
and
he
spent,
let's
like
ray
said,
let's
say
500
every
period
for
water
and
someone
who's
living
by
himself
and
he
spent
20
30
40
dollars
water.
Are
they
going
to
be
both
paying
the
same
thing.
D
R
R
D
Sorry,
I
don't
think
that
is
fair
to
the
residents.
You
know
they
should
be
paying
the
same
amount
for
those
meters,
because
they
are
the
same
meters
they're
going
to
be
installed
by
the
same
crews,
and
I
think
we
should
hold
off
on
this
before
we
approve
it
and
the
bond
is
issued
and
we
cannot
do
anything
about
it.
F
Well,
I
just
want
to
mention
it's
every
year,
as
the
council
will
recall,
plant
moran,
they
take
what
we
pay
for
water
from
the
now,
the
great
lakes
water
authority
and
then,
for
example,
this
bond
and
all
the
other
factors
and
it's
an
enterprise
fund.
So
it
has
to
pay
for
itself
and
that's
a
complex
calculation.
To
say
I
mean
that's
something.
Plant
moran
could
comment
on.
They.
They
gave
us.
If
you
remember,
council,
the
it
was
option,
a
option
b,
option
c,
option
d
and
option.
C
Thank
you,
councilman,
council,
chair.
Are
you
back
on
now.
R
C
So
we're
still
voting
on
the
one
for
the
water
meeting
b,
a
b.
G
S
E
J
B
A
M
A
E
A
D
E
I
just
want
to
congratulate
mrs
oshinski
on
this
new
position
and
this
appointment.
Congratulations
to
the
mayor
on
choosing
lisa.
I
know
she
definitely
does
her
work
and
you
know
really
digs
deep,
and
so
I
think
she'll
be
an
amazing
person
to
be
able
to
add
to
this
commission
so
congrats
to
lisa.
D
E
A
C
I
move
that
the
debate
heights
city
council
concur
with
the
mayoral
appointments
of
ms
dunya
bazi
and
miss
heather,
marie
nicholson,
bester
to
the
community
cultural
relations
commission
terms
to
expire
march,
24,
I'm
sorry
march.
2024
one
appointment
is
to
fill
the
fill
a
vacancy
left
by
miss
seham,
awada
jayfer,
who
recently
resigned
from
the
commission
and
the
other
is
to
fill
a
vacancy
that
has
not
yet
been
filled
since
the
commission
was
reestablished,
furthermore,
appoint
treasurer
lisa
hicks-clayton
as
a
ex-official
city
official
member
for
the
commission
term
to
expire
january.
C
E
Since
we're
on
this
topic,
I
just
want
to
let
everybody
know
that
the
cultural
relations
commissions
hosts
a
meeting
every
thursday
every
last
thursday
of
every
month.
I
I
we
actually
interviewed
mrs
bazi
councilman,
abdullah
and
treasure
hicks
clayton.
E
They
they
will
do
a
phenomenal
job
here,
and
I
congratulations
to
all
three
and
and
I'm
so
sorry
and
mrs
heather
marie
nichols
bester
as
well.
Thank
you.
A
C
C
E
Adam
chair,
thank
you,
curve,
counselor
and
nothing.
I
think
that's
a
great
idea
as
well.
I
think
that's
a
phenomenal
idea,
but
I
know
that
there
is
a
charter
that
the
commission
follows
that
was
adopted
before
the
new
commission,
because
there
was
this
commission
was
actually
started
in
2004.
E
It
went
away.
We
brought
it
back
in
2021
or
2020.,
so
you
would
have
to
make
the
adoption
you
would
have
to
amend
the
charter
on
the
actual
commission.
Madam
chair.
F
Yeah,
whoever
is
the
community
police
officer
with
the
police
department,
it
was
mark
parnello
years
ago
and
different
people.
They
can
attend
the
meetings
and
then
possibly
someone
from
the
fire
department
but
yeah.
I
I
agree,
that's
the
the
commission
set
up
and
then
they
can.
Maybe
the
council
members
city,
council,
members
or
you
know-
can
communicate
with
the
police
and
fire
what's
going
on,
but
I
don't
know.
Does
that
mean
we
would
have
to
point
that
another
member
from
police
and
another
member
from
fire?
A
H
Thank
you,
madam
chair
two,
two
things,
so
we
would
have
to
go
back
to
the
charter
and
look
at
the
charter.
I
know
one
it
was
written
by
mr
miyaki,
I'm
not
it
was.
There
was
nothing
included
in
the
charter
with
any
other
appointments.
However,
we
would
look
into
it
and
I
just
want
to
also
state
that
miss
dunya
bazi
is
not
related
by
any
way
her
or
her
husband,
no
relations
whatsoever.
A
T
Just
to
clarify
it's
actually
section,
two
581
of
the
city
code,
not
the
charter,
so
the
amendment
process
is
up
to
the
council
just
the
usual
two
readings
opposed
to
an
actual
charter
amendment,
and
if
that
is
the
will
of
the
council,
we
could
end
up
doing
that
and
I
can
discuss
that
with
mayor
bassey.
Thank
you.
J
C
N
U
A
G
Moved
to
debra
knight
city
council
authorized
the
public
hearing
for
the
proposed
2021
2022
corporate
fund
budget
for
tuesday
may
11
2021
and
the
adoption
of
the
budget
be
scheduled
for
tuesday
may
25th
2021..
The
notice
of
public
hearing
shall
be
posted
four
weeks
prior
to
adoption,
as
outlined
in
9
a.
R
E
C
A
A
E
Just
want
you
to
know,
I
went
ahead
and
actually
drove
by
this.
I
took
a
look
at
this
property.
I
I
clearly
see
with
what's
going
on
here
and
I
mean
definitely
in
support,
but
obviously
this
has
to
go
to
a
public
hearing.
C
I
just
quickly
I
spoke
with
our
assessor
and,
and
it
seems
like
the
one
that
would
be
the
most,
because
this
cuts
off
it
cuts
off
at
the
cemetery.
So
really
the
only
one
that
really
be
drastically
affected
by
this
would
be
the
stat
center.
C
So
I
highly
recommend
it
to
her
that
a
letter
b
you
know,
go
out
to
them,
or
at
least
reach
out
to
them
or
call
them
or
whatever,
because
my
concern
is,
I'm
not
sure
if
they're
using
it-
and
I
know
this
is
not
the
public
hearing,
but
I'm
not
sure
if
they're
using
it
to
get
into
their
parking
lot
from
the
north
side.
C
So
just
want
to
say
here
publicly
to
make
sure
that
somebody
reaches
out
to
them
in
an
official
capacity,
because
that's
the
one
that's
going
to
be
most
affected,
and
these
are
residents
that
served
us
in
in
in
our
community.
So
I
just
like
to
make
sure
that
they're
totally
aware
of
what's
going
on
here,
just
in
the
event,
they
missed
a
sign
that
they
put
up
on
the
property.
Thank
you.
E
A
G
G
G
Someone
had
mentioned
about
selling
them
to
the
public.
I've
been
down
there,
they're
not
worth
selling,
is
probably
more
scrap,
metal
and
scrap
wood
than
anything.
It's
really
not
worth
anything
for
anyone
to
be
honest
with
you,
okay,.
A
C
Madam
chair
councilman
abdullah,
I
move
that
the
dearborn
heights
city
council
approved
the
services
of
plant
moran
to
assist
in
the
gathering
of
all
the
necessary
information
for
the
preparation
of
the
2021
2022
major
and
local
street
budget.
Cost
for
the
scope
of
services
is
estimated
at
three
thousand
five
hundred
and
twenty
dollars
for
major
roads
and
one
thousand
two
hundred
and
sixty
dollars
for
the
local
roads
on
a
not
to
exceed
basis,
meaning
that
that's
what's
capped
at.
E
I
just
want
to
recognize
john
cellemy,
who
does
a
phenomenal
job
reached
out
to
him
this
weekend.
There
was
a
resident
that
had
a
issue
and
us
on
a
sunday
john
sammy
was
willing
to
send
over
his
some
of
the
employees
from
dpw.
They
got
it
done
on
a
monday.
I
just
want
to
say
john
is
always
going
above
and
beyond.
Thank
you
so
much
for
that,
and
I'm
definitely
in
support
of
this.
E
F
A
G
I
move
that
the
dearborn
city
council
approved
change
order
number
two
and
certificate
number
seven
for
the
2020
street
reconstruction
program.
The
amount
of
134
762.11
certificate
of
payment
number
seven
includes
a
contract
decrease
of
two
hundred
eight
thousand
one
hundred
and
ten
dollars
and
ninety
cents
reflected
in
change.
Order
number
two,
as
outlined
in
nine
f,.
R
N
A
A
G
I
moved
dearborn
knight
city
council
approved
their
purchase
of
radios
and
accessories
in
the
amount
of
99
988.75
with
payment
due
upon
receipt.
These
radios
are
for
the
redford
fire
department,
one
of
our
partners
in
the
afg
grant.
We
will
be
reimbursed
one
hundred
percent
for
these
purchases,
as
outlined
in
9g
support
for.
E
A
A
G
C
So
although
the
current
comptroller
is
doing
a
good
job
from
what
I
understand
by
the
mayor-
and
he
had
some
high
regards
for
him-
there
was
also
another
councilman
councilman
moby
doom
spoke
with
somebody
that
I
know
and
trust,
that's
a
high
high
character
and
gave
the
comptroller
great
great
remarks.
C
I
just
think
at
this
particular
point
where-
and
this
is
no
reflection
on
the
controller
in
any
way,
shape
or
form,
but
I
think
all
races
should
be
right
around
the
same
time
during
budget
time
and
that's
when
we'll
reassess
the
controller
and
any
other
possible
directors
that
are
possibly
up
for
raises
this.
We
would
know
based
on
a
total
budget,
what
we
can
or
cannot
give
and
what
what
what
should
or
shouldn't
get
at
that
particular
time.
C
D
E
Just
kind
of
also
echo
a
little
bit
of
what
councilman
abdullah
said
I
did.
I
did
some
of
my
research
I've.
I
know
some
of
the
past
employers
that
director
badri
used
to
work,
for
they
spoke
extremely
highly
with
them.
I
actually
spoke
with
him
today
and
you
know
I
I
the
way
I
look
at
this.
E
I've
had
just
some
you
know
being
a
director
and-
and
maybe,
if
it's,
if
we're
voting
on
this
today
or
for
waiting
until
after
the
budget,
the
way
I
look
at
it
is,
and
I've
always
had
this
discretion
is
you
know
you
want
good?
You
got
to
pay
good,
so
so
to
me,
it's
you
know,
I
know
believe
a
lot
of
our
department.
E
Heads
are,
you
know,
really
I've
really
taken
a
big
cut
in
the
past
and
given
them
a
raise,
I'm
all
for
that,
but
obviously
you
would
have
to
earn
that
in
my
opinion.
So
you
know
I
I
just
want
to
say
that
I
did
have
this
conversation
and
a
few
of
the
people
that
I
spoke
with
that
you
know
worked
with
him
in
the
past
said
he
does
a
phenomenal
job.
So
kudos
over
to
him.
A
G
It
does
I'll
lower
my
hand
here.
I
agree
with
councilman
abdullah
we're
real
close
to
our
budget
season,
and
this
is
typically
the
time
when
we
either
give
raises
or
don't
give
raises,
and
I
think
waiting
the
next
few
weeks
is
not
going
to
make
much
of
a
difference
and
it
would
make
it
fair
to
all
the
directors.
I
believe.
E
F
G
F
C
R
R
A
G
Do
I
need
to
I
want
to
read
the
move.
The
city
of
dearborn
heights
approved
the
budget
amendment
for
five
thousand
nine
hundred
forty
dollars
and
six
cents
from
part-time
account.
G
D
G
Unlike
the
one
before
previously,
I'm
gonna
make
my
intentions
clear
that
I
will
vote
yes
on
this
because
I
remember
a
year
or
two
ago
we
did
raise
the
person's
salary
and
it
was
not
given
to
her.
So
I
think
that
she's
owed
this
from
the
previous
administration,
and
I
just
want
to
put
that
out
that
this
is
not
playing
favoritism
with
anybody.
G
D
Yeah,
I
I
agree
with
councilman
muscat,
because
I
remember
when
the
council
gave
raise
to
miss
constant
and
basically
the
mayor
refused
to
give
her
out
of
all
the
people
who
he
agreed
to
give
him
raises
she's
the
only
one
who
put
next
to
her
name
no,
and
I
do
agree
that
she
should
get
the
raise.
A
C
C
I
move
that
the
german
heights
city
council
authorized
the
mayor
and
the
city
clerk
to
sign
the
revised
professional
services
agreement
between
fleiss
and
blender
brink
engineering,
inc
and
the
city
of
dubai
heights
for
the
develop
for
the
development
of
our
city's
five-year
recreation
master
plan.
The
revised
agreement
has
been
reviewed
by
corporation
council,
mr
miyatki,
as
outlined
in
item
9j.
The
port.
C
I
I
had
some
questions,
and
this
is
for
one
of
our
engineers,
mr
ali,
deep,
in
this
kind
in
the
new
contract
when
they
had
the
revisions,
it
was
mentioned
that
there
was
some
additional
changes
that
were
needed
and
included
if
they
were
minor,
just
logistics,
I'm
not
worried
about
it,
but
was
there
something
of
major
concern
that
was
added
on
there.
L
No
nothing
measure
councilman.
All
we
wanted
to
do
is
make
sure
that
the
the
the
this
effort
is
incorporated
in
the
bigger
five-year
master
plan
picture.
That's
all.
C
I
C
Some
very
very
serious
concerns
with
our
recreation
department
as
a
whole,
at
least.
Historically,
I
do
like
the
direction
we're
going.
That's
why
I'm
calling
you
action
jackson
now
because
we're
seeing
a
lot
of
actions
a
lot
of
stuff
coming
up,
and
I
I
like
that.
I
can
tell
you,
based
on
the
field
of
business,
that
I'm
in
traveling
and
showing
homes
throughout
different
communities.
I've
been
I've.
I
like
the
fact
that
we
have
a
lot
of
parks.
C
C
I
don't
like
the
amount
of
just
just
the
overall
settings
of
the
products,
and
I'm
gonna
give
you
stuff
to
you
that
you
can
compare
to
when
you
go
to
canton
when
you
go
to
birmingham
et
cetera,
et
cetera
and
there's
many
cities,
of
course,
similar
to
that.
Obviously,
some
of
the
bloomfields
and
I
do
realize
that
they
have
a
large
tax
base
and
all
that
that
that's
not
falling
on
deaf
ears.
C
I
do
realize
that,
but
I
think
our
recreation
department
needs
and
I'm
hoping
and
praying
that
you're
the
one
to
do
this
now,
because
you've
got
30
some
years
of
experience
in
the
department.
You've
got
great
education,
you
know,
as
far
as
the
recreation
part
is
concerned,
we
do
have
to
take
our
products
to
the
next
level.
Staying
at
the
same
level,
we're
at
is
just,
in
my
opinion,
not
acceptable.
We've
met
with
multiple
companies
that
gave
us
different
opinions.
As
far
as
the
master
plan
is
concerned,
it
looked
beautiful.
C
Unfortunately,
just
like
some
other
things
that
we've
had
in
the
past.
You
know
in
our
city.
You
know
we
have
meetings
beautiful
stuff,
everyone's
impl
impressed
everybody's
clapping,
everybody's
voting,
yes,
but
then
nothing
happens.
So
I
hope
this
thing
can
be
expedited
and
our
parks-
I
don't
know
if
we
necessarily
need
to
add
more
products,
it's
just.
They
just
need
to
be
beautified
and
just
better
equipment.
Better
grass,
better
cleanliness,
also
know
on
the
one
park.
You
know
the
way
they've
had
major
issues
as
far
as
you
know,
unfortunately,
drug
activity
etc,
etc.
C
The
one
off
of
ann
arbor
trail,
I'm
I'm
sorry
with
fasting,
I'm
blanking
out
on
the
name
of
it
here,
parkland
parkland
parkland.
Thank
you.
So
I
I
I
have
a
lot
of
faith
that
you're
going
to
take
this
thing
to
the
next
level,
because
I'm
saying
it
publicly.
I've
been
very
disappointed
in
the
last
many
years
as
far
as
our
parks
and
concerns,
and
I'm
just
making
a
public
statement
and
that's
it.
Thank
you.
A
Thank
you,
you
have
your
hand
up.
Can
someone.
Q
T
I
just
wanted
to
comment
on
councilman
abdullah's
question.
The
real
only
the
only
real
change
that
was
made
from
the
last
version
of
this
agreement
that
you
approved
is
the
addition
of
project
deliverables,
which
is
the
fourth
paragraph
on
the
first
page.
T
Now
they
have
to
provide
some
deliverables
that
they
pay,
for
otherwise
they
would
have
ended
up
having
to
be
paid
for
under
ownership
of
instruments
of
service
if
we
got
copies,
so
that
was
the
only
real
change
here.
Thank.
T
D
I
just
want,
since
engineer
ali
deeb
got
introduced
a
little
bit.
I
want
to
thank
him
very
much
for
participating
with
director
constant
in
doing
the
plan.
D
Mr
he
has
a
master's
degree
just
for
the
public
to
know
in
mechanical
engineering
and
he's
professional
engineer
which
going
to
save
the
lots
of
money
for
the
city
when
he
signs
on
plants.
Instead,
we
pay
plant
moran
or
we
pay
weight,
trim
so
welcome
to
our
city,
and
I
appreciate
everything
you're
doing.
V
A
C
I
moved
that
the
day
on
highway
city
council
approved
the
intergovernmental
agreement,
otherwise
known
as
iga,
with
wayne
county
for
118
407
in
allocations
for
the
demolition
and
installation
of
the
of
a
new
play
structure
to
be
located
at
van
houghton
park.
In
addition,
authorized
the
mayor
and
city
clerk
signed,
the
three
copies
of
the
enclosed
agreement
on
behalf
of
the
city
is
outlined
in
item
9k.
C
With
our
director
constant
taken
item,
7b
off
of
our
current
agenda
and
then
and-
and
I
do
see
her
thought
process
allowing
the
kids
to
be
able
to
play
on
the
current
structure
and
then
not
demolishing
it
until
possibly
august
but
obviously
it'll
pick
kick
all
the
dates.
Further
up.
Is
that
going
to
affect
anything
as
far
as
the
contracts
that
we
have
in
front
of
us
or
will
those
be
all
automatically
changed?
The
dates.
A
Madam
clerk,
could
you
please
mute
director
constantly
there.
K
Hi,
it
is
not
going
to
affect
as
far
as
the
demolition
and
things
like
that
go
because
we
want
to
first
get
the
contract
through
anyway,
I'm
trying
to
get
everything
done
and
lined
up
the
agreement
with
wayne
county
and
then
also
some
of
the
funds
is
going
to
go
through
the
cdbg
monies
and
then
we've
also
got
the
budget
money.
That's
going
to
be
transferred
over
to
next
year's
budget.
But
basically
your
question
is:
is
the
contract
can
go
first?
K
R
A
F
Chair
councilman
constance,
I
move.
We
concur
with
our
police

money
to
be
collected
from
payroll
deductions,
and
the
use
of
the
forfeiture
account
is
outlined
in
9l
support.
W
So
if
you're
asking
what's
normal,
are
handguns
we
purchase
for
them
our
long
rifles.
We
created
a
program
through
daniel's
defense,
that's
cost-effective
for
the
city,
because
our
officers
purchased
them
out
of
payroll
deduction.
It's
beneficial
for
us,
because
they're
standardized
that
we
get
a
good
deal
through
daniel's
defense,
so
it
doesn't
cost
the
city
any
money.
We
have
standardized
weapons
for
our
officers
and
they're
equipped
with
the
best
equipment
possible.
W
So
this
program
is
a
win-win
for
all
the
participants
for
the
police
department
and
for
the
taxpayers,
because
they're
not
funding
these
additional
weapons.

A
U
G
My
idea
and
I've
been
wrestling
with
this
for
quite
some
time
now,
and
you
know
I
received
phone
calls
like
I
do
from
everyone,
be
it
pro
or
khan
and
spoken
to
a
good
colleague
of
mine
and
listening
to
people
and
they
elected
me
to
make
a
tough
decision
and
unfortunately,
as
much
as
I
wanted
this
to
go
on
a
ballot,
I
have
to
kind
of
bow
my
head
down
to
the
people
who
elected
me
and
told
me
to
make
these
tough
decisions,
so
my
my
voice
will
be
heard
when
it's
time
to
to
vote.
A
Councilman,
I
can
somewhat
agree
with
you.
It
is
a
tough
decision.
I
thought
I
would
put
it
out
there
for
all
of
us
to
decide.
G
I
want
to
apologize
to
you,
I
mean
you
did
a
great
job
in
the
in
in
the
in
it.
You
wrote
it
very
well
and
but
again,
that's
how
I
feel.
A
Well,
I'm
gonna
make
a
statement.
We
we
had
a
town
hall
meeting
about
five
years
ago
with
the
residents
and
they
voiced
their
opinion.
I
thought
because
of
your
suggestion
now
it's
time
to
put
it
on
the
ballot
and
move
forward.
It's
just
been
sitting
stagnant
for
too
many
years.
Also
too,
I
know
it's
a
difficult
decision.
It's
not
like
we're
approving
a
multi-million
dollar
budget.
Where,
if
we
find
out,
we
did
something
wrong,
we
can
go
back
and
revise
it.
If
we've
made
a
mistake
with
this,
there
is
no
turning
back
from
this.
A
So
I
guess
I
would
like
to
make
sure
the
resident's
voice
is
heard
and
by
that
it
could
be
done
on
the
ballot
if
this
body
so
chooses
so
tonight,
like
I
said,
if
we
choose
one
or
the
other,
once
we
go
in
that
direction,
we
can't
turn
back
and
oh
I.
G
D
T
If
your
honorable
body
decides
to
end
up
doing
this,
I
would
need
some
additional
direction
before
I
would
feel
comfortable
drafting
something
otherwise
would
simply
reflect
what
my
thoughts
are
potentially
on
the
subject.
For
example,
I
would
look
at
this
and
say
you
could
get
input
from
in
it
by
virtue
of
an
advisory
vote.
T
Then
again,
you
could
say
that
it
would
be
based
on
a
specific
proposal.
Personally,
I
would
have
a
problem
with
the
specific
proposal,
because
who
knows
what's
going
to
happen
by
the
time
the
vote
takes
place.
I
would
also
note
that
we
have
very
limited
time
to
try
to
get
anything
onto
the
primary
ballot.
It
has
to
be
done
at
like
the
next
regular.
T
So
I
just
wanted
to
point
out
those
potential
issues
if
the
will
of
the
councils
go
forward
with
something
along
these
lines.
Thank
you.
T
D
S
A
Been
there
has
been
a
resolution
put
out
there.
This
is
where
we
vote
on
it.
D
Second,
you
always
said
that
you
would
listen
to
the
residents
with
your
votes
and
you
showed
it
four
or
five
times
before
that
you
followed
what
the
residence
wants,
and
I
respect
that
the
residents
came
by
the
10th
last
meeting
the
study
session,
the
public
hearing
and
raised
their
voice
that
they
do
not
want
our
dispatch
to
go
to
dearborn,
and
I
agree
with
them.
Only
one
person
came
out
of
the
whole
meeting
and
said
they
wanted
to
go
to
dearborn
and
I
believe
we
do
have
the
money.
D
D
D
A
E
And-
and
I
just
kind
of
wanted
to
say
that
you
know
I-
I
know
this
was
a
tough,
very
tough
decision.
I
know
that
one
out
of
the
tens
came
out
and
said
something,
but
you
know,
and
I'm
sure,
as
I
know,
I
had
a
conversation
with
councilman
muscad,
where
we've
been
being
chugged
in
both
directions,
and
so
if
this
were
to
go
to
the
ballot,
my
only
question
and
maybe
gary
miyaki,
our
corporate
council
can
ask
this:
is
this
going
to
cost
the
residents
or
cost
us
anything?
A
B
Well,
we
have
to
run,
I
mean
we
don't
know
if
there's
a
primary
we're
going
to
if
the
primary
is
going
to
cost
us,
because
it's
a
local
election
so
is
that
we
don't
know
if
there's
a
primary
yet
so
if
it
was
one
item,
yes,
it
would
cost.
Yes,
it
would
cost
the
city
whether
or
not
we
have
a
primary
or
not.
T
I
don't
know
because
it's
very
unclear
exactly
what
is
being
looked
for,
so
I
can't
really
tell
you
look.
It
will
be.
I
mean
I
don't
expect
that
it
would
be
unduly
expensive,
but
then
again
you
might
even
have
to
have
a
meeting
about
it
to
work
through
the
wording.
Remember
we
only
have
so
many
words
to
be
able
to
put
into
a
ballot
proposal.
S
T
Part
of
it
here
is
that
there
really
needs
to
be
more
thought
put
into
exactly
what
it
would
be.
If
someone
said
it's
going
to
be
an
advisory
proposal
and
then
I
put
it
together
and
the
council
said
yep
looks
great,
then
it
wouldn't
cost
much
at
all.
If
I
put
it
together
and
everyone
said
no,
that's
not
right
because
you're
not
including
anything
about
this,
and
then
we
spend
you
know
two
hours
in
a
study
session
hammering
out
the
language.
Then
it
would
cost
more.
C
Okay,
so
council
chair,
you
know,
obviously
all
the
residents
elected
us
for
a
reason
to
be
able
to
make
their
decisions
on
their
behalf,
whether
it's
a
tough
decision
or
an
easy
decision
and
like
councilman
abdulhak
just
mentioned
we've.
Just
we've
made
a
decision
on
a
25
million
dollar
bond.
We
could
just
as
easily
make
a
decision
on
this
one,
but
I,
but
there
is
a
way
that
we
can
have
our
cake
and
eat
it
too,
maybe
not
necessarily
for
elections,
but
well.
C
One
way
is
for
the
residents
to
be
able
to
show
up
to
some
of
the
different
meetings
that
we've
had
to
be
able
to
put
you
know,
say
whatever
their
input
is
and
they've
been
given
opportunity.
There
they've
been
given
an
opportunity,
in
this
particular
case,
they're
an
agenda
to
speak
on
agenda
items
in
regards
to
this,
and
there
wasn't
much
comments
now,
which
leads
me
to
indicate
that
you
know
a
lot
of
residents
just
rely
on
effect.
C
A
lot
of
council
members
are
going
to
make
this
type
of
decision
and
do
the
background
research
that's
necessary,
but
there
is
a
way
that
we
can
have
our
cake
and
eat
it
too.
Maybe
we
take
into
consideration
a
survey
of
residents.
We
hire
a
survey
company,
an
independent
survey.
Company
sounds
good
survey,
the
residents
and
if
we
could
get
something
like
that
done,
hypothetically,
I'm
just
throwing
numbers
out
two
three,
four
five,
maybe
even
ten
thousand
dollars.
C
I
personally
would
be
comfortable
with
our
city,
paying
something
like
that
because
then
we'd
get
the
input
from
the
residents
it'd
be
their
opportunity
to
kind
of
sort
of
almost
like
voting
and
then
it'd
make
our
decisions
a
little
bit
easier
based
on
what
the
residents
feel,
but
it
would
have
to
be
somebody
independent,
obviously,
just
a
thought
to
think
about.
Thank
you.
F
You,
madam
chair
and
I
agree
with
councilman
musket.
He
did
raise
the
issue,
it's
a
it's.
A
tough
discussion
and
we've
had
the
discussion
before
but
number
one
who's
going
to
pay
to
educate
the
public
one
way
or
the
other
so
you're
going
to
have
to
have
a
group.
F
That's
for
joining
the
dispatch,
the
group
against
and
sending
out
literature,
informing
the
public
suppose
we
all
vote
to
join
the
dearborn
area
dispatch
and
then,
for
some
reason
the
city
says
we
don't
want
to
do
it
or
suppose
we
vote
no
five
years
from
now
we
decide.
Oh
all,
the
cities
are
have
the
united
dispatch.
F
Do
we
have
to
then
go
to
the
public
again
for
another
vote,
so
I
would
like
to
see
if
the
clerk
could
give
us
a
rough
idea.
I
don't
think
any
of
the
other
cities
have
have
had
a
advisory
vote
on
this,
but
I
don't
know
for
sure
and
then
also
an
idea
of
what
the
cost
would
be.
And
then
I
could
give
her
some
information
on
what
would
have
to
be
done,
for
committees
to
be
formed
and
to
raise
money
and
to
educate
people
for
or
against.
F
Our
police
chief
has
his
hands
full
as
it
is
running
the
department.
So
I
don't
know
that
he
would
be
available
to
go
out
and
talk
about
the
issue
to
much
extent
one
way
or
the
other.
So
I
I
agree
with
everyone
else.
This
is
a
decision
that
the
mayor
and
the
city,
council
and
the
police
chief
together
have
to
make.
H
Thank
you,
madam
chair
and
again
you
know
for
this
budget.
You
know
we
budgeted
460
thousand
dollars
to
upgrade
the
dispatch.
H
You
know
this
is
based
on
some
of
the
for
the
public
hearing
the
residents
and
also
all
the
residents
in
the
whole
of
our
office,
still
we're
getting
calls
from
residents
about
the
dispatch.
So
I
was
actually
looking
at
there's
a
the
house
of
representatives.
They
included
a
15
billion
dollar
development,
an
implication
for
the
next
generation
911
throughout
the
country.
H
So
what
I'm?
What
I'm
doing?
Right
now?
I
created
a
committee
to
actually
see
what
we
can
do
to
get
some
of
the
funding
to
upgrade
our
dispatch
and-
and
you
know
say
same
here-
is
I
know
you,
the
council
members
have
been
getting
a
lot
of
calls
from
residents.
You
know
we
are
continuously
getting
calls
from
residents
and
some
some
of
some
of
the
calls
are
not
so
so
good.
You
know
they're
they're
actually
saying.
H
What's
what's
next,
what
you
know
what
we're
gonna
sell
our
city
to
other
cities.
You
know
some.
Some
comments
were:
what's
next,
we're
gonna
have
some
other
city
take
care
of
the
police
work.
You
know
what
else
we
got
a
contract
from
our
city.
So
that's.
Those
are
a
lot
of
concerns
that
we're
getting
from
our
residents.
D
H
H
A
E
What
I
think
I
think
it
is,
I'm
just
a
little
hungry,
but
let
me
let
me
ask
you:
can
we
table
this?
She
brought.
E
A
Yes,
is
there
any
further
discussion,
like
I
said
I'll
go
with
whatever?
I
just
thought
that
this
may
be
the
quickest
way
to
resolve
this
situation.
Since
we've
been
kicking,
the
can
down
the
road
for
the
last
five
years
and
and
councilman
moscat
brought
it
forward.
So
I
was
honoring
his
wishes.
H
Madam
chair,
we
also
have
the
american
rescue
plan
that
is
we're
supposed
to
be
getting
close
to
25.,
like
eight
million
dollars
within
the
next
few
months.
So
we
can
also
use
that
money
to
upgrade
our
dispatch
as
well.
H
Yeah,
they
have
not
come
up
with
all
the
details,
but
I
know
there's
a
lot
of
money
that
we
can
allocate
to
our
first
response,
first
responders
or
first
response
and.
H
A
H
E
E
Councilman
made
you,
I
just
also
want
to
thank
you.
I
know
your
intentions
are
pure
on
this.
I
know
this
is
something
that
councilman
musket
myself
and
I
believe,
councilman
so
who
brought
this
up,
and
so
you
just
honor
those
wishes.
I
know
you
kind
of
felt
like
hey
you
know,
maybe
it
was
best
to
hearing
from
all
the
residents,
so
I
did
want
to
recognize
you
on
that
as
well.
So
thank
you
for
that.
Thank.
E
Think
chief
mark
myers
also
had
his
hand
up.
W
I'm
sorry,
I
was
waving
good
night
to
director
perry's
children
who
I
coach,
so
they
were
saying
good
night,
so
I
was
waving
to
them
good
night
because
I
coached
director
perry's
children.
I
apologize.
E
F
F
D
C
E
I
Malinowski
maxwell
it
fails,
so
we
will
have
to
come
up
with
an
alternative
plan
before
our
next
meeting.
G
G
C
Personally
and
I've
talked
to
the
treasurer
lisa
exclaimed
about
this,
but
I
personally
would
rather
not
have
some
of
this
money
put
in
a
general
fund
or
use
for
anything
I'd
like
to
keep
on
the
side
where
it
is
right
now,
unfortunately,
we
don't
earn
much
interest
on
it,
but
I
think
that's
the
proper
thing
in
my
opinion
to
do.
C
D
D
F
Gary
corporation
council
me,
I.
A
See
that
congressman,
please
let
me
acknowledge
him.
Madam
clerk,
can
you
please
unmute
corporate
council
miyaki?
He
has
his
hand
up.
T
Yes,
thank
you.
I
I
hate
to
point
this
out,
but
part
of
the
difficulty
with
this
resolution
is
that,
typically,
you
have
all
the
whereas
paragraphs
and
then
the
therefore
be
it
resolved,
tells
you
specifically
what
it
is
doing
and
what
it
says
is
now
therefore
be
be
resolved.
The
honorable
city
council
members
approve
the
city
treasurer's
request
and
adopt
this
resolution.
T
Yet
the
backup
on
this
is
a
letter
from
mr
elaine
from
plant
moran
and
I'm
not
seeing
a
specific
action,
that's
being
called
for
with
regard
to
the
resolution,
so
I
hate
to
interrupt,
but
the
difficulty
is:
is
that
there's
not
something
specific
in
here,
I'm
not
saying
one
way
or
the
other
whether
or
not
it
should
be
adopted.
I'm
just
saying
it's
unclear
what
you
are
adopting
if
you
adopt.
A
Y
Thank
you.
Thank
you,
madam
chair
and
counsel.
I
wanted
to
well
one
day
answer
the
question.
The
real
question
is
that
ultimately,
council
makes
a
decision
on
how
you
want
this
money
utilized.
As
councilman
abdel
hawk
indicated,
this
money
was
assigned
for
opeb
and,
as
he
also
mentioned,
we
have
an
action
plan,
a
payment
plan
that
we've
entered
with
the
state
of
michigan
treasury
that
we
pay
annually,
that
comes
out
of
general
fund
library
and
water.
Y
So
that
is
the
obligation
we
need
to
make
sure
we
fulfill
those
115
trust
funds
that
were
formed
were
very
important,
and
you
remember
I
strongly
advocated
for
those
to
be
formed
that
that
is
what
is
safeguarding
your
pension
system.
Y
To
get
his
input
and
I
said,
can
you
give
me
a
letter
of
your
your
synopsis
of
what
you
feel
and
that's
what
that
is
for?
Is
it
negative?
Is
it
what
are
the
pros
and
cons
of
doing
this,
because
that
money
originally
came
from
general
fund
in
2016.?
Okay,
that's
where
that
money
came
from.
So
what
is
the
impact?
Y
It
would
be
negative
and
he
said
no,
because
it
would
help
your
cash
flow
so,
but
he
he
left
the
other
things
like
you
could
do
and
put
the
money
in
the
115
trust
fund,
which
I
think
probably
was
the
intent.
But
we
had
this
discussion
before,
if
you
remember
back
in
november
and
council
voted
that
down,
because
they
didn't
want
to
restrict
the
money,
because
once
you
put
it
in
the
115th
trust
fund,
you're
not
taking
it
back
out,
it's
no
longer
fluid.
So
if
you
need
that
money,
you
cannot
use
that
money.
Y
So,
but
again
I
remind
you.
There
is
a
payment
plan
that
we
fully
meet
the
obligation
on
every
year
so
and
that
comes
out
of
those
funds
that
I
mentioned
so
really
all
I'm
asking
is.
What
do
you
want?
That's
where
you're,
therefore,
let
it
be
resolved.
Tell
me
what
you
want
me
to
do
as
your
treasurer,
because
that's
what
I
do,
I
follow
your
direction
and
administrate
it.
Thank
you.
F
F
Trust
was
required
by
the
state
treasurer
and
by
michigan
law,
but
I
think
we
have
to
be
specific
what
we're
voting
on,
and
I
think
we
have
to
hear
from
the
pension
plan
participants
from
the
pension
board,
and
I
I
appreciate
martin's
letter,
but
I
think
we
have
to
hear
a
little
more
and
then
I
think
we
have
to
have
a
specific,
a
b
or
c
what
options
we're
voting
on.
I
agree
with
mr
miyatki.
N
A
B
Sorry
about
that,
I
don't
know
that
you
need
a
motion
to
do
that
if
the
treasurer
hicks
clayton
wants
to
bring
it
back
forward
again
for
clarification,
maybe
she
can
talk
to
corporation
counsel
and
come
up
with
a
resolution.
That'll
work.
E
I
asked
that
kind
of,
like
a
corporate
council
said
miyake,
where
there's
or
or
I
believe
it
was
constant
abdulhak
where
there's
options
a
b
or
c
or
or
maybe
that
was
I
forget,
who
brought
that
up
but
councilman.
We
actually
know
what
we're
voting
on
what
are
the
other
different
options.
So
I
agree
with
councilman
muscat
on
that.
If
we
can
send
that
back
and
kind
of
just
get
it
structured
out
a
little
bit
better.
T
I
was
just
going
to
recommend,
however,
that
you
refer
it
back
to
the
treasurer
to
work
with
myself
as
corp
corporate
council
with
respect
to
this
particular
item,
so
that
we
have
a
clear
direction
from
the
council,
and
I
believe
that
the
city
treasurer
agrees
with
this
approach.
Thank
you.
G
Yes,
I
make
a
motion
that
we
refer
this
back
to
our
treasure:
lisa
hicks
clayton,
for
further
clarification,
support,
supported.
A
The
eyes
have
it:
okay,
next
item
on
the
agenda
is
new
business.
This
is
the
business
license.
Renewal
for
the
dearborn
heights,
moose

located
at

all
erwin's

A
F
Chair
councilman
constant.
I
move
that
to
dearborn
heights
city
council
renewed
the
business
licenses
for
the
dearborn
heights,
moose
lodge
on
warren,
the
irwin's

the

the

As
the
outline
in
13a
support.
F
A
G
Number
one
I
I
don't
have,
but
one
thing
I've
got
some
phone
calls
from
some
of
our
community
elected
officials
and
they'd
like
to
know.
If
we
can
move
the
community
announcements
closer
to
the
top
of
our
meeting,
so
they
can
actually
do
their
announcements
and
then
go
to
the
other
cities
that
they
represent,
because
you
know
by
time
we
get
done
at
9,
00
9
30,
10
o'clock.
They
can't
communicate
with
their
other
other
communities.
G
A
Know
we
we
could
discuss
that.
Another
option
is,
one
of
us
could
take
on
the
job
of
maybe
texting
them
when
we
get
to
the
new
business
part
to
say,
come
on
sign
on
we're
getting
close
well.
G
G
Let's
figure
out
something
with
with
with
your
approval,
I'd
like
to
read
something
that
councilman
tom
wenzel
said
to
me
that
if
I
could
read
it,
please
for
his
community
announcements.
G
Understand
please
and
I'll
just
read
this
through
and
that's
it,
and
I
would
want
to
wish
everyone
all
my
muslim
friends,
a
very
happy
safe
ramadan.
God
be
with
you
all,
and
it's
a
tough,
tough
thing
that
you're
doing
I
wish
I
had
that
intestinal
fortitude.
G
You
know,
god
bless
you,
but
anyway
this
is
from
councilman
tom
wenzel.
First
of
all,
I
would
like
to
extend
a
very
blessed
ramadan
season
to
all
our
residents
and
their
families,
who
are
observing
it.
Just
a
reminder
we'll
be
having
our
28th
annual
e-course
creek
clean
up,
slash
richard
a
young
raiden
garden
maintenance
day
and
neighborhood
park
beautification
day
on
may
22nd
2021.
G
G
We
are
especially
looking
for
adult
supervision
and
participation
from
students
from
all
of
our
high
schools,
please
contact
tom
wenzel
or
the
mayor's
office
for
more
information.
This
next
comment
is
directed
to
mayor
bazi.
In
the
past
council
members
were
delivering
city
council
meeting
packets
to
their
homes
by
the
police
department
from
the
clerk's
office.
For
some
reason
this
was
stopped.
I
would
like
to
know
a
show
of
hands
from
council
members
who
would
like
this
to
start
up
again
and
his
hand
says
he'll
be
raised
last,
but
not
l.
G
E
Thank
you
so
much
madam
chair
and
I
just
kind
of
wanted
to
extend
my
blessings
and
wishes
to
all
the
muslims
that
are
out
embarking
on
the
fasting
under
the
ramadan
there's
1.8
billion
muslims
that
are
going
to
be
fasting,
and
so
I'm
extending
that
over.
I
also
had
a
great
conversation
with
our
chief
mark
myers
today
about
all
the
food
trucks
that
are
going
to
be
there.
E
I
know
that
he's
switched
over
some
of
the
chefs
to
accommodate
to
the
muslim
community
who
will
be
having
where
you'll
see
a
lot
more
people
out
there.
You
know
seeing
the
different
venues
of
food
trucks.
Some
of
the
grocery
stores
will
be
open
late
at
night,
including
some
of
the
bakeries.
E
So
you
guys,
if
any
of
you
guys,
are
hungry
late
at
night,
best
time
for
these
next
30
days
to
go,
check
them
out
and
then,
if
this,
if
our
honorable
council
would
help
me
in
joining
me,
I
know
that
the
state
of
michigan
wayne
county
the
city
of
dearborn
have
all
recognized
april
as
arab
american
heritage
month.
I
would
love
for
the
city
of
dearborn
heights
to
do
so.
E
I
was
wondering
maybe
we
can
go
ahead
and
move
a
motion
to
to
doing
such
and
if
this
honorable
council
is
willing
to
do
so,
I
would
love
their
support
in
that
I.
E
Well,
I
I
asked
that
the
city
of
gilbert
heights
will
recognize
april
as
arab
american
heritage
month,
to
follow
precedent
with
the
the
state
of
michigan,
the
wayne
county
and
the
city
of
dearborn.
That
are
also
doing
such.
G
A
F
You,
madam
chair,
I
just
want
to
wish
ramadan
kareem
to
all
our
residents
that
are
observing
ramadan.
May
they
have
a
reflective
and
blessed
ramadan.
I
concur
with
councilman
mo
baidun
our
caesars
restaurant,
which
I'm
looking
at
out
my
window
right
here
on
ford
road
will
be
open
late
and
is
always
a
popular
spot.
B
H
Thank
you.
I
also
want
to
wish
happy
ramadan
to
everyone.
There's
a
few
items.
I
got
a
call
this
this
morning
from
congresswoman
rasheed,
atleb,
she's
she's.
Actually
she
has
a
committee
called
the
flood
mapping,
but
not
not
just
the
ecourse
creek
any
any
flooding
issues
in
in
the
city
of
dearborn
heights,
so
we
decided
that
this
were
the
last
few
days
to
actually
create
an
e-course
creek
flood
commission.
H
I
asked
mr
miyaki
to
to
get
that
charter,
see
what
we
can
do
with
that
see
what
would
take
to
create
that
commission
also
for
the
audit,
the
financial
audit.
I
know
some
of
the
council
members,
including
myself,
you
know
written
having
written
that
original
resolution
for
the
financial
audit.
H
I've
been
in
contact
with
the
raymond
group.
I've
sent
them
all
the
information
they
needed
to
to
to
start
the
audit.
The
documents
I
submitted
at
the
last,
like
maybe
three
four
weeks
ago,
I
submitted
all
the
documents
they
requested
for
the
time,
according
to
a
raymond
group
they're.
Ninety
percent
right
now
complete,
so
they
have
about
ten
percent
left
to
complete
the
initial
findings.
H
The
second
one
you
know
for
the
food
trucks
we
talked
about
that.
I
asked
our
attorney
also
mr
miyaki,
to
start
up
an
ordinance
so
he's
talking
with
mr
roberts
to
see
what
we
can
do
to
create
an
ordinance.
I
know
it's
too
late.
You
know
this
year.
I
mean
I
mean
this
month
to
do
the
ordinance.
H
Obviously
it
takes
you
know
a
couple
readings
to
incorporate
the
ordinance,
so
we
we
should
have
that
done
here
in
next
few
months,
so
we
can
be
ready
for
the
summer
for
the
packages
the
console
packages.
The
only
thing
is,
I'm
I'm
open
to
delivering
packages
to
the
council
members.
The
only
thing
I
have
a
concern
with
is
the
covet
restrictions
with
having
you
know
paper
copies
right
now.
H
So
I
would
need
to
look
at
that,
and
I
will
talk
to
our
our
attorney,
mr
miyaki,
to
see
what
we
can
do
see
if
it's
feasible
to
do
that.
You
know
with
the
covet
restrictions
to
submit.
You
know,
get
documents
you
know
delivered
to
council
members,
so
I
I
I'm
for
it.
Obviously
I
used
to
like
getting
getting
the
stuff
in
the
email
or-
or
you
know
the
stuff
brought
to
my
house,
so
I
would
look
into
that
council
members.
H
One
thing
I
want
to
commend
officer
kelly
from
the
police
department.
He
had
a
lot
of
appreciation,
it's
a
lengthy
letter
of
appreciation.
Thank
you
officer,
kelly
for
going
away
and
beyond
the
call
of
duty
for
helping
a
citizen.
H
I
also
want
to
commend
our
firefighters,
jamal
farage
and
scott
smith
for
also
helping
one
of
the
residents
had
an
issue
with
dislocated
shoulder,
and
the
son
actually
wrote
a
really
nice
letter
of
recommendation
or
letter
of
appreciation
to
both
firefighters
and
one
of
the
things
that
I
wanted
to
do
was
myself
and
my
chief
of
staff
we've
been
going
over
for
the
last.
You
know
several
well
three.
H
Three,
four
weeks
from
now,
we
came
up
with
a
strategy
to
see
what
the
city
council's
vision,
and
so
what
we
wanted
to
do
is
if
all
the
council
members
can
actually
write
down.
You
know
your
vision
for
us
as
a
city
administrators,
to
see
what
you
can
come
up
with
as
an
objectives
and
metrics,
so
we
can
actually
measure
to
see
how
the
administration
and
the
city
employees
measure
up
to
some
of
the
objectives
that
you
set
for
us
for
the
administration.
H
You
know
some
of
the
things
that
we
came
up
with
is
like
economic
development
governance.
You
know
marketing
communication
public
service
increasing
residency,
which
means
you
know
we
we
eliminate
you
know
blight.
You
know,
maintain
infrastructure,
prioritize
customer
service,
which
is
my
number
one
priority
from
day
one
when
I
got
here,
you
know
with
open
door
policy
wanted
to
treat
residents
as
our
customers.
H
So
this
is
something
big
with
my
with
my
administration
and
also
technology.
So
if
you
guys
want
to
come
up
with
some
ideas,
I
mean
I
have
a
lot
of
things
that
I
jotted
down.
I
don't
want
to
go
through
all
of
them.
It'll
take
probably
half
an
hour,
but
if
you
have
any
ideas
you
want
to
send
it
to
me,
I
can
put
it
together
or
we
can
set
up
another
meeting
and
I
can
go
through
my
objectives.
H
A
I'd
like
to
wish
everybody
a
blessed
ramadan
and
like
councilman
musket
says
I
got
to
give
you
a
lot
of
credit
to
go
the
whole
day
and
fast.
The
way
you
do
I'd
like
to
thank
mayor
bazzy
for
moving
forward
with
the
audit.
We
we
both
worked
hard
on
it
for
a
long
time
to
get
that
moving,
and
I'm
so
glad
that
you
are
moving
forward
with
it.
A
Also
too,
one
thing
we
might
want
to
do
is
contact
the
clerk's
office
in
regards
to
getting
our
council
packets
printed,
because
I
understand
that
there
is
a
possible
printer
issue
there
and
that's
possibly
why
you
we
might
have
to
resolve
that
before
we
can
actually
print
the
packets
and
deliver
them
to
the
individual
houses.
We'd
have
to
touch
base
with
madame
clerk.
For
that
and
that's
all
I
have
next,
we
have
director.
A
U
Yes,
I
got
it
good
evening,
miss
mayor
bazie,
good
evening,
madam
chair,
just
a
quick
reminder
that
cdbg
will
hold
its
public
hearing
tomorrow
at
six
o'clock.
U
D
D
We
wish
everybody
a
blessed
month,
and
I
want
just
to
remind
everybody
elites
for
the
old
ice
arena
going
to
have
a
tent
with
food
for
everybody
during
ramadan
and
hype.
Athletic
too.
So
please
enjoy
the
months
and
be
safe
and
keep
the
noise.
The
police
doesn't
come,
and
you
know
give
you
guys,
citations
and.
A
K
Hi,
I
just
have
a
couple
of
things:
the
big
thing
coming
up,
as
you
probably
have
seen
in
your
boxes
and
everybody
else,
is
we
have
our
recreation
master
plan
survey
out.
So
please
take
a
few
minutes
to
help
us
out
with
this
and
give
us
your
thoughts
and
comments
on
it.
As
mr
abdullah
said
earlier,
we
really
need
to
work
on
our
parks.
We
need
to
work
on
our
facilities
and
your
responses
from
the
survey
will
make
a
huge
difference.
K
We
also
have
our
brochure
out
and
we
focused
on
basically
events
that
are
covered.
I
kind
of
coined
the
new
term
clovid
friendly
kind
of
an
oxymoron,
but
you
you
know
what
I'm
saying
or
what
I
mean
so
basically
they're
the
events,
basically
that
are
outdoors
for
the
summer,
and
things
like
that.
So,
of
course,
everything
is
subject
to
change
depending
on
the
cdc
guidelines
and
what
develops
there
as
an
ongoing
basis.
We
also
have
information
about
the
garage
sale
out.
K
So,
if
anybody's
looking
to
be
a
vendor
on
that,
we
have
a
trip
to
shipshawana
the
nice
thing
about
this
is
we
are
starting
our
trips?
This
is
an
outdoor
trip,
we're
not
doing
indoor
things
where
the
whole
group
is
eating
together
or
they're
in
a
show
together,
we're
taking
them
to
a
location,
dropping
them
off
and
yes,
we're
bringing
them
back
to
we're,
not
leaving
them
there,
and
also,
I
am
social
distancing
with
the
buses.
K
K
Sanitizer
all
right,
so
also
we're
looking
for
more
people
to
come
and
be
involved
with
our
senior
yoga
that
we
have
at
eaton
center
and
again,
some
of
the
other
trips
that
we're
doing
movie
day
and
then
we're
going
to
great
lakes.
Crossing
locations
are
open.
We're
taking
buses
like
for
the
movie,
we're
going
to
shuttle
people
back
and
forth,
depending
on
what
times
that
they
want
to
go,
and
things
like
that.
Also,
information
is
out
for
our
mackinaw
island
trip.
K
Hopefully,
cbc
guidelines
will
change
by
then,
but
that's
october,
25th
through
the
28th
and
all
the
information
isn't
out
in
that.
We
actually
filled
up
the
flyer
rack
at
city
hall.
So
if
anybody
really
wants
the
information,
it's
all
there
or
it's
at
one
of
our
recreation
buildings
as
well
and
then
last
but
not
least,
we
are
doing
the
senior
jubilee.
K
Even
though
we
have
canceled
the
spirit
festival
this
year
we
are
still
doing
the
jubilee
that
will
be
outdoors
under
a
large
tent
social
distance
mass
everything
that
we
need
to
follow
we'll
be
following,
but
we
want
to
give
the
seniors
a
good
event
and
a
good
time
to
you
know
have
fun
and
hopefully
forget
covid
for
a
couple
of
hours.
So
that's
pretty
much
it
on
my
events.
Just
please
make
sure
that
you
fill
out
a
master
plan
survey
for
us
so
that
we
can
get
everybody's
input.
K
C
K
Yes,
we
actually
have
it
all
out
in
all
of
the
city
buildings.
I
have
actually
just
completed
surveymonkey
and
I
am
finishing
that
and
we
will
have
a
link
to
that,
probably
by
the
end
of
the
day
tomorrow,
and
so
people
will
be
able
to
do
it
digitally
as
well
and
we're
posting
it
on
facebook,
we're
posting
it
on
our
city
website.
K
We've
got
a
written
copy
out
at
the
senior
centers
for
people
to
pick
up,
so
I've
tried
to
cover
everything
that
I
could
think
of
in
that
way.
So
you
know,
obviously
you
know
we
just
have
to
get
the
word
out
and
I'm
counting
on
you
guys
to
help
us
get
the
word
out
too.
Word
of
mouth
actually
helps
a
lot.
So,
yes,.
A
Thank
you.
Next,
we
have
librarian.
I
I'm
getting
him
now
and
then
just
so,
you
know
after
him,
councilman
constant
has
had
his
hand
up
as
well.
No.
S
S
Also,
delivery
boxes
will
be
going
out
very
soon
likely
next
week
we
are
delivering
around
1500
boxes
and
they
go
out
to
hundreds
of
homes
so
and
we
do
it
during
multiple
days,
so
do
be
patient.
If
you
don't
get
yours
early
in
the
week,
they
are
coming
and,
finally,
as
a
reminder,
please
mask
up
between
dearborn
and
dearborn
heights.
S
Over
the
past
year
we
had
a
cumulative
17,
000
plus
cases,
and
our
numbers
have
been
of
record
highs
the
past
couple
weeks,
so
please
mask
up
and
get
vaccinated
when
you
can
those
hard
working
people
and
medical
emergency
and
service
professions
will
thank
you
and
that's
all
for
now.
Thanks
for
your
time
and
see
you
at
the
library
soon.
A
Z
Them,
okay,
all
right
great
hi!
I
just
wanted
to
introduce
myself,
I'm
tony
dunbar,
a
new
legislative
caseworker,
a
liaison
for
congresswoman
rashida
talib's
office.
I've
been
there
almost
a
year,
but
I
was
off
on
maternity
leave
as
well
and
came
back
at
the
beginning
of
this
year.
But
what
we
do
have
is
some
updates
on
her
legislative
highlights,
which
is
pretty
much
right
now.
She
has
getting
ready
to
introduce
a
bill.
Z
Restoring
communities
left
behind
act
which
provides
about
five
mil
five
billion
dollars
fund
for
local
communities
to
do
community
development.
Z
She
does
have
an
hr,
1532,
a
house
resolution
improving
a
f
h,
a
I
apologize
for
that
support
for
small
dollar
mortgages
at
the
for
2021
is
which,
in
this
year,
she's
introduced,
which
creates
opportunities
for
families
and
more
distressed
in
challenged
communities
for
small
dollar
mortgages,
so
pretty
much
any
mortgage,
that's
under
7,
70,
000
or
under
for
any
community.
Z
I
wish
that
we
have
right
now.
What
we're
just
reminding
individuals
is
that
wayne
county
health
department
is,
is
expanding
eligibility
for
covet
19
vaccines
to
all
residents
up
in
anyone
who
works
in
pretty
much
belleville.
Dearborn
gerber
heights
e-course
flat
rock
inkster.
The
list
goes
on
it's
all
on
the
wayne
county
website,
but
the
appointments
are
available
by
calling
and
I
came-
and
I
don't
see
a
chat
so
I'm
gonna
just
announce
it
at.
Z
Eight
eight
and
those
hours
are
between
nine
a.m
and
five
p.m.
It
is
toll-free
number
and
so
pretty
much.
The
vaccination
clinics
will
be
at
wayne,
county
community
college
down
river
campus
or
north
lawn
road
in
taylor,
michigan
and
then
schoolcraft
college,
which
is
in
livonia
or
hagerty
road.
Z
We
did
kind
of
give
a
little
highlight
on
the
the
relief
bill
that
or
package
that
was
introduced.
It's
going
to
have
so
some
of
the
highlights
extension
of
the
federal
unemployment
benefits
of
300
until
september.
Z
Of
course,
if
you
have
not
already
received
or
some
individuals
who
are
eligible,
that
1400
stimulus
check,
I
know
some
individuals
have
not
still
received
it.
They
do
have
on
the
irs.gov
a
link
where
it's
called
get
by
p
payment,
where
you
could
be
able
to
research
or
see
where
your
status
is
in
regards
to
your
1400
stimulus
on
there
as
well.
Y
Y
That
is
beautiful.
I'm
glad
you
shared
that
I
would
like
to
join
everyone
in
expressing
our
gratitude
and
appreciation
for
our
its
animal
control
officer
appreciation
week,
as
well
as
our
911
communication
dispatchers
week.
So
again,
when
you
see
one
or
you
want
to
post
something,
please
do
and
thank
them
for
their
service
to
our
city.
Y
I
also
want
to
thank
the
council
for
the
input
on
agenda
item
11b.
I
greatly
value
that
my
door
is
always
open
to
you
and
I
welcome
your
input,
suggestions
and
ideas.
So
thank
you
for
that,
and
I
wanted
to
share
with
everybody.
We
had
a
town
hall
meeting
on
april.
8Th
senator
alexander
was
the
host.
We
had
all
of
our
treasures
from
the
fifth
senate
district,
including
redford
garden
city
inkster,
of
course
dearborn
heights
detroit,
and
whom
am
I
missing?
Y
If
somebody
is
unable
to
pay
their
property
taxes,
whether
it's
past
due
or
it,
is
actually
for
2020
as
well,
because
that
was
cut
off,
but
if
you
need
help
with
making
payments
or
go
into
a
payment
plan,
if
you're
a
veteran
there's
some
great
incentives
there
to
support
you,
I
encourage
you
to
watch
that
town
hall
foreclosure,
it's
videotaped,
it's
on
my
page
on
facebook,
lisa,
hicks,
clayton,
dearborn
heights
treasurer
or
you
can
go
to
senator
alexander's
website
and
find
it
a
very
informative.
Y
But
please
explore
that
and
even
take
a
look
at
wayne
county
treasurer's
homepage
for
our
payment
options,
because
we
don't
want
anybody
and
with
covert
and
everything
it's
difficult
enough.
We
want
to
keep
people
in
their
homes.
So
please
do
that,
and
I
want
to
tell
you
speaking
of
the
page
that
I
have.
I
do
a
treasure
talk
to
give
you
updates
that
are
relevant
and
current
and
those
are
always
the
monday
before
city
council
meeting
at
6
00
p.m.
Y
So
please
join
me
and
if
you
have
ideas
that
you
would
like
to
see
from
your
treasure
or
subject,
let
me
know
that
as
well
and
oh,
I
have
one
more
thing.
I
know
everyone
has
said
this,
but
I
am.
I
want
to
share
this
sentiment
as
well
ramadan
kareem
to
all
of
our
muslim
families
in
our
community
and
around
the
world.
As
you
celebrate
the
holy
month
of
ramadan,
we
wish
you
and
I
wish
you
a
very
blessed
holiday
ramadan
mu.
Excuse
me
mubarak.
A
Thank
you.
Next,
we
have
chief
of
staff
mariana
hernandez
jonathan.
AA
Hello,
everyone
happy
ramadan
to
everyone
that
is
celebrating
that
I
just
wanted
to
give
everybody
a
heads
up
and
and
let
you
know
that
we
are
trying
to
improve
communications
as
best
as
we
can
on
the
city
and
all
of
those
events
that
director
constant
was
referring
to
are
now
available
on
our
website
calendar,
as
well
as
some
of
the
library
events
that
are
coming
up.
So
if
anybody
has
any
meetings
or
anything
like
that,
please
let
us
know,
and
we
will
be
happy
to
add
those
to
to
our
website
and
within
that.
AA
I
also
want
to
say
that
we
are
improving
communication
with
a
lot
of
our
commissions.
So
congratulations
to
all
of
those
that
are
now
official
members
of
the
commissions.
I
want
to
thank
the
chairperson
for
the
cultural
relations
commission,
lantania
gator.
She
has
actually
already
provided
all
the
agendas
and
meetings
for
for
their
commission,
and
I
want
to
encourage
all
of
the
other
commission
members
to
do
the
same
and
update
that
information
in
our
website,
and
I
want
to
remind
everybody
that
tomorrow
there
is
a
zoning
commission
meeting
and
everyone
is
welcome
to
join.
AA
It
is
open
to
the
public
one
more
thing:
our
deadline
for
providing
ads
for
the
city
magazine.
The
dearborn
heights
today
will
be
on
the
30th
of
this
month.
So
if
there
are
any
businesses
that
want
to
market
their
business
in
our
magazine,
please
feel
free
to
reach
out
to
the
mayor's
office
or
to
bob
and
crap,
and
that's
it
again,
happy
ramadan
to
everybody
and
good
night.
Thank.
S
X
Hello,
everybody.
Thank
you
very
much.
Council
chair.
I
just
wanted
to
take
a
few
minutes
to
introduce
myself.
My
name
is
bill
clinton.
I'm
a
24
year,
almost
a
veteran
of
the
city
of
dearborn
heights.
On
april
7
2021.
I
was
sworn
in
as
the
ordinance
enforcement
and
animal
control
director.
X
Throughout
the
course
of
my
time,
I've
held
numerous
positions
throughout
my
tenure
with
the
city,
including
custodian
highway
equipment
operator,
animal
patrol
officer,
ordinance
enforcement
officer
and
building
maintenance
labor,
as
well
as
leader.
My
educational
background
includes
courses
at
schoolcraft
community
college,
mostly
focusing
on
criminal
justice.
X
X
I
also
serve
as
a
reserve
police
officer
with
the
dearborn
heights
police
department,
which
I
have
since
2015.
I
believe
I'm
also
active
as
a
volunteer
in
several
community
and
school-related
organizations,
I'm
also
volunteering
through
the
police
department
as
a
reserve.
I
also
served
as
president
of
the
government
heights
public
employees
association
and
I
also
served
on
the
general
government
civil
service
commission.
X
I
just
wanted
to
touch
on
a
few
talking
points
regarding
the
ordinance
director
objectives.
Some
of
the
biggest
issues
we
have
in
the
city
are
blight.
We
want
to
try
to
touch
on
that
in
every
part
of
the
city.
Also,
I'm
not
sure
at
what
level.
There
are
some
rat
issues
that
need
to
be
addressed
as
well.
X
We're
developing
a
plan
to
address
those.
We
have
the
methods
for
submitting
concerns
right
now
to
the
to
the
ordinance
department,
our
via
email.
It's
the
address
is
ordinance
at
ci,
dot,
dearborn,
hyphen
heights,
dot,
mi.us
or
you
can
call
the
office.
It's
three
one,
three,
seven
313-791-3497
to
submit
your
concerns.
X
We
want
to
try
to
be
accessible
to
the
residents
and
work
with
them
to
resolve
the
issues
we
want
to
make
sure
the
ordinances
are
enforced
and
and
ordinances
are
followed.
We
try
to
get
compliance.
Tickets
are
issued
as
an
avenue
of
last
resort.
We
have
clear
protocols.
Obviously
we
have
brochures
that
are
available
in
the
office.
I
believe
there's
a
ton
of
brochures
at
city
hall
at
the
office
there
and
I
think
a
lot
of
the
stuff
is
listed
online
as
well.
X
If
you
have
any
questions
or
concerns,
you
can
feel
free
to
reach
out
via
email
or
call
the
office,
and
also
I'd
like
to
take
a
minute
to
recognize
lisa
hicks
clayton.
Thank
you
for
bringing
up
its
animal
control
officer
appreciation
week.
I
would
like
to
thank
specifically
our
animal
officers
right
now.
They've
worked
very
hard.
There's
been
a
lot
of
call-ins.
We've
had
some
special
issues
that
have
been
addressed.
These
guys
are
working
hard
on
a
few
issues
that
we
have
in
the
in
the
city.
Right
now.
X
Those
acos
are
robert
bunker,
russ,
ortman
and
kev
abbott.
I
wanted
to
thank
those
guys
very
much
for
the
service
to
the
community,
as
well
as
the
ac
old
field.
I'd
also
like
to
thank
councilman
abdallah
for
swinging
by
today
and
saying
hi
and
introduce
himself.
I
appreciate
that
I
met
councilman
bay
dune
as
well.
I
saw
thank
you
very
much.
It
was
good
to
see
you
and
meet
you,
and
I
saw
councilman
mustad
as
well
this
week.
X
I
want
to
wish
everybody
that
that's
celebrating
happy
ramadan
and
I
believe
that's
it
for
now.
Thank
you
very
much.
Thank.
B
Thank
you.
Thank
you
very
much.
This
year
we
have
local
elections
and
we've
had
packets,
ready
and
a
lot
of
people
that
have
picked
them
up,
and
I
just
want
to
remind
those
that
have
picked
them
up
that
they
are
due
back
in
the
clerk's
office
no
later
than
next
tuesday
april
20th.
At
four
o'clock.
We
do
ask
those
that
are
returning
to
get
them
in
as
soon
as
possible,
because
there
is
a
process
that
we
have
to
go
through
and
verify
every
single
signature.
B
That's
on
the
petition,
make
sure
there's
they're
legit,
you
know
they're
legitimate
they're,
registered
voters
they're
within
the
city,
and
we
don't
want
you
to
miss
out
and
have
less
than
100
and
it's
past
the
deadline.
So
as
soon
as
you
can
get
them
in.
We
would
would
really
appreciate
that.
Another
note
on
elections,
tuesday
may
4th
there
will
be
an
election
in
the
city,
but
it
will
be
only
in
the

B
They
have
a
bond
proposal
that
is
on
the
ballot.
If
you'd
like
to
any
information,
they
have
information
on
their
website
and
their
phone
number
is
area
code.
Three
one.
Three:
two:
zero
three
three
one:
eight
zero
and
I'm
sure
that
anybody
has
any
questions
you
can
give
them
a
call
and
they
I'm
sure
they'll
be
happy
to
answer
them
for
you
and
then
on
a
closing
note
to
those
of
our
residents
and
friends
that
are
observing.
E
N
How
are
you
doing
this
evening
right?
I
want
to
take
time
to
thank
councilman,
muscat
and
agreed
with
him
myself
and
a
co-worker
were
downstairs
in
basement
city
hall,
when
we
were
inventorying
all
the
items
for
disposal.
N
None
of
that
stuff
down.
There
is
savable.
Some
of
that
stuff
takes
two
three
to
four
people
to
carry
because
of
the
weight.
It's
not
worth
anything
worth.
Keeping
councilman
muscat
was
down
there
with
mayor
bozzi
and
the
councilman
had
some
questions,
and
I
hope
we
were
able
to
answer
all
your
questions
that
you
had
that
day
and
he
seemed
real
attentive,
and
I
think
we
had
a
good
conversation
down
there.
If
you
have
any
more
questions,
don't
be
afraid
to
ask.
Thank
you
very
much.
Council.
G
Well,
anyway,
thank
you,
mr
blackburn.
You
guys
did
a
great
job
just
keep
up
the
good
work.
Maybe
we
can
get
more
funds
for
that
basement,
see
if
we
can
clean
it
up
a
little
bit
better.
Thank
you.
A
Thank
you.
Next,
I
have
resident
pamela.
A
A
J
Okay,
I
just
wanted
to
remind
people
that
our
neighborhood
association,
the
south
dublin
heights
civic
association,
does
have
a
meeting
on
the
fourth
thursday
of
every
month.
So
next
thursday,
the
22nd
of
april,
we
will
be
at
3335
south
beach
daily,
which
is
the
admin
building
for
westwood
community
school
district,
and
it
starts
at
seven
and
goes
to
nine
we're
going
to
have
a
surprise
speaker
so
I'll.
Let
you
wonder
what
that
is
until
then
hope
you
all
can
come
and
we
do
limit
to
25
and
we
do
wear
masks.
Thank
you
again.
What.
G
AB
T
G
M
M
Now:
okay,
good!
Just
congratulations
to!
I
hope.
I'm
pronouncing
this
right
jingle
abdel
hook
and
geno
abdallah
on
their
recent
grandchildren.
M
Can
I
miss
it
and
happy
okay
and
happy
ramadan
to
all
of
you.
E
A
V
Him
hi
yeah.
This
is
just
wanted
to
bring
up
again,
you
know
still
having
problems
with
the
burger
shack
at
on
on
telegram
860
for
our
telegraph.
I
forget
the
address.
I'm
sorry.
I
know
that
all.
D
V
Thank
you
all
city
council
members
did
get
a
an
email
from
my
neighbor
rana
manay
about
you
know
with
some
pictures
showing
the
problems
that
we're
having
with
their
customers.
V
I
do
want
to
thank
the
ordinance
officer,
a
lot
of
the
issues
with
the
grease
and
all
that
have
been
taken
care
of,
but
now
we
have
a
various
serious
problem
with
loitering.
V
V
I
know
that
councilman
musket
did
reply
to
my
neighbor
and
I
appreciate
him
getting
back
to
her.
I
just
need
to
understand
exactly
what
I
can
do
to
get
things
get
things
done,
how
we
can
address
this
problem.
The
loitering
issue
is
being
is
getting
really
bad,
especially
on.
V
V
And
we'll
talk
about
it
and
you
can
see
exactly
what's
going
on,
but
it's
a
very,
very
big
problem
and
I
was
hoping
I
could
get
some
kind
of
direction
where
I
should
go
next.
Council
chair.
G
Councilman
moscat
could
mark
myers
not
as
chief
meyers
chime
in
on
this,
because
once
they
leave
the
restaurant,
it's
really
not
up
to
the
restaurant
owner
to
do
anything,
but
if
we're
having
a
problem
there,
maybe
we
could
have
some
again.
Mr
myers
would
be
be
able
to
answer
that
about
some
revolving
police
cars
going
through
and
you
know
if
they
find
the
people
that
are
littering,
give
them
a
ticket.
G
You
know
you
know,
I
don't
want
the
neighbors
to
go
out
there
and
confront
these
people
because
believe
me,
I
know
you
don't
want
to
do
that
all
right,
but
if
mr
myers
is
available,
chief
myers
could
respond.
I'd
appreciate
that
to
give
some
input
on
what
the
neighbors
can
and
can't
do,.
W
All
right
so
couple
things
one
is:
we
received
an
email
from
the
neighbor
that
lives
in
that
area?
I
won't
give
her
name
or
the
address
we're
addressing
it,
we're
working
with
the
ordinance
office.
Many
of
the
issues
that
came
up
in
that
letter
was
more
of
an
ordinance
issue
about
parking
lot
size
in
greece.
W
Some
of
it
was
requesting
a
no
parking
sign,
that's
something
that
has
to
be
reviewed
by
council.
We
do
a
traffic
study,
but
traditionally
no
parking
signs
are
if
it's
blocking
access
in
or
into
or
from
on
a
roadway.
That's
probably
not
the
case
here.
So
then
we
go
into
what
a
public
street's
for
we
have
increased.
W
Our
patrol
we've
already
done
our
periodic
checks
in
that
area
and
we're
continuing
it
so
between
ordinance
and
ourselves
we're
trying
to
get
a
handle
on
it,
but
at
the
end
of
the
day,
it's
a
business
district
on
ford
road,
the
side
street
right
there
turns
into
residential
people,
are
allowed
to
purchase
food
to
park
legally
on
the
street.
We
don't
want
them,
throwing
their
trash
in
in
the
roadway.
W
I
completely
understand
that
if
somebody
was
in
front
of
your
house
late
at
the
hours
and
we're
directing
patrol
over
there,
but
it's
really
a
good
neighbor
issue
between
the
businesses
and
the
residents
will
continue
to
enforce
laws
that
we
can
enforce,
but
no
parking
issues
and
things
like
that
is
something
that
the
council
would
have
to
act
upon.
If
that's
something
they
want
to
do
outside
of
a
traffic
study.
W
We
make
recommendations,
but
really
at
the
end
of
the
day
and
mr
miyaki
might
do
it.
The
council
can
authorize
a
sign
as
long
as
it's
legal,
pretty
much
anywhere
in
the
city,
but
for
no
parking.
But
then
you
go
down
that
slippery
slope
of
what's
going
to
be
the
barometer
of
when
you
put
a
no
parking
sign
in
a
certain
area
and
we
usually
do
it
by
traffic
hazards
not
by
or
if
fire
engines
couldn't
get
by.
You
know
the
width
of
the
street
things
like
that.
W
I
like
that
idea.
Those
would
all
be
your
recommendations
as
long
as
the
corporation
council
would
agree
with
those
decision
making
process.
I.
G
Will
call
corporation
council
with
with
with
council
chairs
permission,
but
are
the.
W
Shortcomings,
I'm
sorry
the
short
version
from
the
police
department.
We
responded
through
that
email
working
with
the
ordinance
about
many
of
the
ordinance
issues
and
then
we're
dealing
with
it
on
the
periodic
checks
where
we're
actually
trying
to
increase
patrol
in
that
area
to
limit
it.
It
doesn't
mean
it
ends.
It's
12
square
miles,
56
000
people,
23
000
residents
and
a
whole
heck
of
a
lot
of
streets
in
between
there.
W
So
we
do
our
best
to
get
into
those
areas
and
we
put
special
attention
in
those
areas,
but
it
doesn't
mean
we're
going
to
sit
there
24
hours
a
day.
I
know
that's
not
the
answer.
People
want
to
hear,
but
that's
the
truth.
V
Oh
absolutely,
I
I
understand
that
you
know,
and
I
welcome
a
traffic
study
any
day
but
monday
when
they're
closed,
because
the
amount
of
traffic
on
what
is
a
side
street
is
absolutely
insane.
You've
got
just
all
kinds
of
cars
parked
every
which
way
it's
just
really
bad,
that
we
we
do
have
no
parking.
9
pm
to
7
am
in
the
29
29
years.
V
I've
been
here,
it's
never
been
enforced
a
single
time,
so
you
know
if
if
we
did
change
it
to
no
parking
at
any
time
which
I
would
love,
I
would
actually
love
no
stopping
standing
or
parking.
I
think
that
would
be
great,
but
you
know
whatever
that.
Whatever
comes
to
that,
but
then
you
know,
enforcement
would
be
an
issue
after
at
that
point,
but
you
know
I.
I
welcome
a
traffic
study.
G
I
want
to
respond
to
david,
real
quick.
You
can
call
a
clerk's
office
and
get
my
phone
number
give
me
a
call
and
we'll
discuss
more.
Thank.
G
D
AB
Thank
you,
council,
chair
again,
my
name
is
latonya
gator
calling
from
dearborn
heights
michigan
wayne
county
first,
I
would
like
to
say
on
behalf
of
the
community
and
cultural
relations
commission,
that
I
personally
bid
you
all
to
the
muslim
community
members
a
very
happy
and
blessed
ramadan.
AB
I
definitely
support
you
all.
I
commend
you
all
for
the
amount
of
discipline
that
comes
with
that
celebration
and
I
am
looking
forward
to
iftar.
AB
I
also
have
a
few
statements
and
a
few
announcements
on
behalf
of
the
commission.
My
first
statement
is
on
behalf
of
the
discussion
points
that
were
discussed
earlier
definitely
want
to
thank
the
mayor
bill
bazi
for
moving
forward
with
the
appointments
and
for
the
city
council
members
for
supporting
those
appointments.
Definitely
congratulations
to
councilman,
abdullah,
to
treasure,
elisa
x-clayton,
to
heather
nicholson,
bester
and
to
dunya
bazi
for
their
appointments.
We
welcome
you
wholeheartedly
and
we
are
ready
to
get
to
work.
AB
Our
commission
meetings
are
every
first
thursday
of
the
month
from
starting
at
seven.
Our
meetings
are
open
to
the
public.
Of
course.
Our
meeting
agendas,
as
mariana
just
said
in
the
minutes,
will
be
added
to
the
city's
web
page,
but
we
also
have
a
facebook
page
and
our
minutes
and
agendas
are
updated
there
as
well.
The
facebook
page
is
named
dearborn
heights
community
cultural
relations.
Commission.
All
of
the
commissioners
are
active
on
that
page.
If
you
have
any
discussion
points,
if
you
need
any
information,
please
reach
out
to
any
one
of
us.
AB
AB
If
you
guys
remember
back
in
the
summer
of
2020,
I
actually
asked
that
the
commission
be
rebirthed
by
the
late
mayor
dan
paleco
because
of
the
civil
unrest
that
is
happening
in
america.
It's
currently
happening
in
minneapolis.
That
is
something
that
the
commission
does
not
want
to
happen
in
our
city.
AB
Neither
do
we
want
to
have
any
reason
for
that
to
happen
in
our
city,
so
message
to
chief
myers,
I
sent
an
email
last
week
asking
for
some
collaboration
on
some
ideas
related
to
mental
health,
because
we
believe
that
mental
health
support
and
increased
mental
health
support
is
a
direct
benefit
to
our
residents.
So
if
you
could,
please
get
a
chance
to
respond
to
that
email
acting
as
a
resident
and
as
a
chairperson
of
that
commission,
I
appreciate
it.
A
W
AB
AB
The
first
being
that
last
month
the
commission
decided
to
highlight
five
women
in
our
community
who
have
shown
and
proven
dedication
and
service
to
our
city.
Those
women
were
nominated
and
selected.
They
are
naja
najun,
they
are.
The
other
is
nadia
barry,
one
being
zenitzian
laurie
fujita
zainab.
E
E
AB
Zainab
zane
sorry,
so
we
do
plan
to
highlight
their
community
service
the
best
way
we
can.
We
hope
to
have
the
support
of
the
city
council
and
the
mayor
and
the
residents
to
be
able
to
move
forward
with
this
again.
Our
goal
is
the
commission
to
be
as
diverse
inclusive
and
supportive
of
the
good
work
that
the
people
do
in
the
city.
So
we
are
very
proud
to
do
that
and
again
follow
our
facebook
facebook
page
for
more
updates
on
that.
It
is
also
autism
acceptance
or
awareness
month.
AB
AB
It
would
also
include
food
gift
cards,
sensory
motor
activities
and
social
learning
activities,
because
we
want
that
community
to
be
well
accepted
and
well
supported
in
the
dearborn
heights
community,
and
so
I
we
are
accepting
nominations
for
that
up
until
next
friday,
via
email
by
emailing
any
of
the
commissioners
d,
the
rest
direct
messaging
us
or
calling
us
with
those
nominations.
AB
A
P
A
P
P
Dearborn
heights
michigan
wayne
county-
I
just
wanted
to
say
to
my
all
my
friends
who
are
going
through
ramadan
this
this
difficult
time.
Thank
goodness
this
evening.
For
them
I
have
a
happy
and
blessed
ramadan.
I
spent
several
months
in
1991
during
desert
shield
desert
storm
in
saudi
arabia,
kuwait
and
iraq,
and
I
had
a
very
good
friend
of
mine
who
was
in
the
saudi
army
and
excuse
me
the
saudi
air
force,
and
he
actually
got
me
a
holy
quran
actually
from
the
printing
factory
in
medina
and
saudi
arabia.
P
P
The
next
thing
is
very
briefly:
the
light
at
heather
lane
and
vanborn.
I
talked
to
the
mayor
about
this
a
while
back.
It's
been
helped
for
quite
some
time.
It's
a
pedestrian
light
from
westbound
walking
westbound
along
vanborn
at
heather
lane,
and
he
had
already
he'd
spoken
to
mr
selmy
and
he
contacted
wayne
county
signals.
P
It's
still
out,
I'm
glad
they
ignore
you
as
much
as
they
ignore
me.
I
sent
them
an
email
now
your
office,
john
selma,
has
contacted
them
and
they're
ignoring
them.
This
has
been
going
on
for
probably
nine
months,
so
I
don't
know
what
you
can
do,
sir,
but
maybe
you
have
a
special
transporter
line.
You
can
you
can
contact
them,
but
thank
you
very
much
and
everybody
stay
safe.
Please
stay
safe
during
covet.
It's
very
scary
out
there.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
A
K
As
a
resident,
okay
go
ahead,
I
just
I've
been
getting
some
calls
actually
kim
constance
from
5527
other
lane.
I
just
want
to
let
everybody
know.
K
I've
been
getting
some
calls
from
some
seniors
in
regards
to
rumors
that
they've
been
hearing
about
the
senior
centers,
especially
the
eaton
center
closing,
and
I
just
wanted
to
let
everybody
know
that
it's
just
a
rumor
and
that
matter
of
fact
we're
going
forward
and
we're
working
on
the
projects
for
the
repairs
of
the
eden
center,
the
cement
in
the
courtyard,
as
well
as
the
bathrooms,
so
I
just
wanted
to
put
people's
minds
at
rest.
