make
sure
that
the
hopefully

live
streaming

work

this
meeting
to
the
next.
We
hopefully
won't
be
here
forever,
but
at
least
for
now
we're
having
this
study
session
in
here
as
well.
So
our
first
item
up
tonight
for
the
safe
session
is
the
end
of
your
financial
report
for
January
February
financial
report.
So
here
to
present
to
us,
is

so
tonight
I'm
going
to
talk
a
little
bit
about
the
progress
we're
making
in
closing
2018
and
then
we
can
also
address
any
question
you
may
have
regarding
progress
anyway
and
February
year-to-date.
So
I
have
previously
reported
and
2008
preliminary
financials
in
in
February
and
as
of
today.

no
major
highlights
to
point
out
regarding
January
and
February
financials.
You
know
as
as
we
expect
you
know,
revenues
are
on
track
and
our
expenses
are
slightly
below
I.
Don't
think
that's
concerning,
as
you
know,
in
2018
the
revenues
were
slightly
higher
than
we
had
budgeted
on
the
fact
that
they're
on
track
right
now
isn't
necessarily
unexpected
because
of
the
timing
of
actually
receiving,
for
example,
property
tax
revenue.
So
that's
slightly
below.

you
look
at
the
details,
property
tax
collection
is
slightly
below
where
we
were
at
through
the
fiscal
year,
but
that's
a
timing
issue
versus
any
concerns
that
we've
got
any
revenue
issues
at
this
point,
so
I
just
want
to
make
sure
I
address
that
and
the
expenses
are
below
budget
right
now.
So
so
that's
good.
Of
course.
The
year-end
balance
that
is
being
shown
in
February
year-to-date
report
would
be
subject
to
change
based
on
where
we
end
the
year
with
the
final
audited
report,

just
wanted
to
bring
that
up
as
well.

transfers

made
out

fund

public

Fund

debt
service
and

transfer

thousand
dollars

made,

transfers

and
out
of
the
public
fund
and
the
five
hundred
thousand
transferred
out
to
the
public
and
provement
fund
for
capital
projects.

believe
that
both
of
those
transfers
were
included
in
the
budget
for
2018

processed

part

council

transfer

the

and

why

reflected

decrease

200,000

collected
sales

tax.

fact
that
a
business

operation

city

Englewood,

collected
less
tax

month

last
December
2017,

the

the

in

is
measured
by
the

worry
about

question

need

component

sentence
of
States
provide
recommendations

City
Council
for
updates

modifications.

to
be
at
least
once
a
year
or
otherwise
I'm
fine.

they
just
wanted
to
know
that
there

a
time
component
that
we
should
add.

repeat

people

committee

while
back
and

of
the
things

only
talked
to

sad

that
they
often
didn't
know
exactly
what
was
being
expected
of
them
in
over-communicating.

better
than

communicating

this

repetitive

rather
have

consistency

clarifies

with
the
city
of
Englewood
in
the
direction
of

Inglewood
City
Council
would
be
citizens
of
the
city

Englewood.

commissions

have
citizen

is
only
one

one
I'm

reading
that
you're
interpreting
that
to
mean

they're
citizens
of
the
city
of
Englewood

board
has
just
members
like

was
before
that

was
intended

they

two
members
of
this
Englewood
community
and
citizens
of

sure

boards

they're

you've
added
in

the
managers
discretion,
a
single
individual
may
provide
both
services,
meaning
the
staff
that
mean
the
staff
and
what
about
a
recording
secretary,

secretary,
going

be
required
for
this
committee.

not
a
recording
secretary
is
required
is
was
never
addressed
within

the

The
way
it's
currently
written

bylaws

two
appointees
for
quite
some
time.

to

meeting

no
knowledge
of

and
concerns

have
been
wrought

my
attention
that

to

police
department
person

believe

great
resource
and

believe

we
probably
look
that
committee
probably
does
need
help

recording

overlap

the
value
in
the
police
department
being
a
resource
there,
because
the
regulations
and
the
code
that
they're
reviewing

directly
tie
in
with
that

person
could
be

described
as

that's
valuable
to
still
have
them
there.

think

proposed

group
meets

collect

council
communication
made
clear,
it
was
a
last
minute
discussion
between
the
school
board
and
some
city
officials,
because
part
of
the
plan
review
raised
this
issue
and
the
school
asked
for
a
quick
discussion
to
see
how
we
might
move
forward.
Basically,
the
idea
is
that,
instead
of
well,
let
me
back
up
and
say
all
of
all
buildings
need
to
address
stormwater
issues
per
code
in
in
our
jurisdictions,
schools.
We
have
done
that
varying
degrees.

had
not
planned
for
a
major
storm
water
detention
as
part
of
this
project,
and
so
we
came
and
said
well
what?
What
could
we
do
to
mitigate
do
do
more
for
storm
water
detention?
The
idea
that
some
of
their
staff
came
up
with
and
our
staff
concurred
that
it
was
worth
pursuing
what
this
idea
of
the
permeable
surface
on
the
parking
lot
at
the
school.
It
would
be
much
cheaper
than
some
other
alternatives,
including
underground
storage
tanks,
which
would
delay
the
project
and
be
very
expensive
and
was
not
in
their
original
budget.

like
it
will,
but
exactly
what
it
looks
like
on
that
site
and
what
a
potential
cost
could
be
because
it
could
be
a
very
valuable
pilot
project
and
the
schools
were
really
not
planning
on
this

budget
they're

contributing
more

project

we

partner

them
on
essentially
a
demonstration

think

could
be
a
valuable

the
