events
from
May.

really
wanted
to
just
highlight
a
few
friends
that
we're
seeing
here
within
the
city
has
been
brought
to
the
city
manager's
attention.
One
of
the
biggest
trends
that
we're
seeing
is
an
increase
in
trash
trash
and
litter
complaints,
and
it's
only
slightly
highlighted
here
in
May
we've
seen
the
increase
continue
into
June.
What
we've
seen
is
and
what
we
believe
is
this
may
be
a
direct
result,
doesn't
impact
of
kovat?
We
have
people
now
at
home.
There
are,
they
are
generating
increased
amount
of
trash
trash
services
have
been
sporadic.

tremendous
amount
of
calls
for
service
related
animal
welfare
increases
specifically
due
to
our
increased
enforcement
within
the
park.
This
was
requested
at
multiple
council
meetings.
It
was
discussed
during
councilmember
choice.
We've
received
numerous
emails
from
the
public
as
well
as
9-1-1
calls
requesting
that
we
be
in
the
park.
Person.
Recreation
has
also
received
tremendous
feedback
as
well
as
the
city
manager,
so
we
have
shifted
a
concern
amount
of
our
proactive
time,
correlate
with
being
more
visible
in
the
parks
and
our
first
opportunity
there
and
what
our
priorities
are
is
to
be
a
visible
deterrent.

you,
you
will
probably
see
significant
time
frames
of
a
sitting
in
parks
driving
through
park
being
next
apart,
just
to
show
that
increase
present,
we
will
step
in
when
we
do
see
violations
and
we
did
go
through
that
large
educational
process
and
just
know
the

not
be
reflective
of
the
actual
animals
that
we
contracted.
This
would
be
per
case
or
per
incident.

have
multiple
animals
or
owners

may
have
been

part
of
this
we've
also
been
utilizing

proactive
time
in
the
partners
to
continue
our
education
on
park
rules,
making
tour
that
social
distancing
applies
that
during
some
of
the
emergency
orders.
As
you
know,
code
enforcement
was
part
of
part
of
that
asked
from
the
governor's
office
in
Tri
County
to
really
be
a
visible
present
with
the
social
thing
in
our
part,
and
so
we
also
took
a
moment
re-emphasize
and
we
educate
the
public
on
what
expectations
and
behaviors
are,
whether
that
relates
to
fishing
at
Centennial,
Park
being
responsible
with
trash
and
litter.

Our
animal
ordinance
is
not
just
off
leash,
but
making
sure
that
animals
are
under
voice
control
and
that
people
are
picking
up
waste
and
making
sure
that
items
are
available
to
citizens
in
the
park
in
form
of
waste
bags,
making
sure
those
continue
to
be
stocked
and
really
working
with
the
Parks
and
Recreation
Department
on
a
few
small
minor
maintenance
issues
or
crush
how
she's
used.
We've
also
taken
the
opportunity
to
continue
to
educate
the
public
on
what
City
Council
had
passed
relating
to
non
smoking
in
the
works
and
just
re-emphasize.

captured

those

live
are

close

Denver

pretty
strict,

feels

parks
are
having
a
little

activity

be
not
safe,
I
didn't
know
if
there
was
any
anything
any
recourse
for
that.

Englewood

really
proud

say
that
we
are
taking
the
educational
approach,

it's
the
police
department
or
code
enforcement
or
other
city
employees.

really
trying

letting

the
most
educated
decision
that
for
them
and
for
the
community.

remind
them
of
what's
in
place.
We
remind
them
of
what
the
orders
were
at
that
time
and
we
let
them
make
decision
as
to
whether
or
not
it's
appropriate
for
them
and
their
family.

be
