I
don't
know
that
she

ability

have
the
level
of
involvement

the

that,

extensiveness

possibility

how
large
this
project
can

it
falls

some

We
didn't
fund
that
particular
mural
a
little
bit
of
park's
involvement
with
conserving
it
from
the
graffiti,
and
so
I
wanted
to
take
a
little
bit
of
time
to
just
gather
some
feedback
from
you
all
on
our
initial
thoughts.

know
it's
kind
of
coming
out
of
the
blue
but
initial
thoughts
and
what
our
approach
would
be
for
this
particular
type
of
project.

not
something
that
we've
talked
about
in
the
past
and
although
part
of
our
arts
plan
does
have
some
reference
to
mural
in
regards
to
public
art,
it
wasn't
a
primary
focus,
and
so
you
know
my
thought
is
it's
because
it's
not
a
project
that
we
have
really
discussed
undertaking
and
the
amount
of
conservation
that
it
would
take.

don't
know
that
this
is
something
that
the
cac
would
exclusively
be
able
to
take
up
christina.

Yeah,
so
the
conversation
I
had
with
britt
was
she
had
interest
she
in
in
the
little
dry,
creek
mural
and
extending
it
to
hopefully
get
graffiti
or
not
get
graffitied
and
have
a
nice
art
piece
along
little
dry
creek.
The
other
conversation
I
had
with
her
was
regarding
our
entryways
into
the
city,
specifically
at
dartmouth
and
santa
fe,
and
talking
to
sean
lewis,
our
city
manager.

He
also
thought
that
would
be
a
great
location
for
mural
that
you
know
welcome
to
inglewood
something
of
that
nature
going
there
and
that's
part
of
the
way
finding
plan
that's
in
place
now,
and
so
that's
kind
of
the
conversation
I
had
with
her
of
immediate
need.
It
was
more
of
the
wayfinding
versus
the
mural
along
little
drag
creek.
I
know
she
was
looking
for
possibly
partnering
with
the
schools
again
as
another
project.

still
got
the
crosswalks
on
there
and
the
traffic
boxes
too,
and
so
I
think,
as
they
come
in
it'll,
be
something
for
the
commission
to
review
and
it
may
not
be
something
we
always
have
funding
for,
but
with
our
connections
at

city,
with
your
connections
you
all
may
have,
there
may
be
some
ways
to
find
spun
funding
or
sponsorships
too,
to
help
some
of
these
individuals
out
that
are
looking
to
add
more
art
into
our
city.
So
yeah
it's
kind
of
one
of
those
things
we'll
take
the
projects
as
they
come
in.

be
something
we
can
fund
or
approve
at
the
time,
but
for
brits
project.
I
think
the
way
finding
the
entry
gateway
entry
sign
is
probably
a
top
priority.
She
had
a
couple
artists
in
mind
from
that
for
that
project
that
they
were
supposed
to
come
tonight
and
just
talk
to
you
all
introduce
themselves,
but
ultimately,
I
think
for
something
like
that.
We'd
want
to
go
out
to
bid
to
recruit
artists
and
see
what
they
would
come
up
with.

didn't
actually
talk
to
her
about
the
wayfinding
project
at
all,
and
I
I
feel
my
my
gut
feeling
is
that
the
wayfinding
project
would
probably
be
something
that
we
would
work
directly
with
the
city
with

necessarily
it

be
more
city
and
cac
led
versus
citizen
led
and
then
to
your
point.
She
did
have
a
couple
of
artists,
none
of
whom
are
englewood
artists,
and
I
know
that's
something
that
we
have
discussed
with
her
in
the
past
and
just
in
general
and
trying
to
promote
and
recruit
englewood
artist
whenever
possible.

to
her
for
future
food
for
thought.

her

application

vote

this
juncture
with
that
particular
project,
would
be
if
something
gets
submitted.

of
that
is

artists
meet

we

kind

months

hovid,
has,
has
figured
out
what
it
would
like
to
do
this
winter
season.

couple
about
a
month
ago,
the
communications
team
put
out
some
social
media
posts
regarding
both
joining
our
artist
list
and
applying
for
the
commission,
and
we
got
a
number
of
interested
local
artists
to
add.
So
we
beefed
up
the
list
a
little
bit
there
and
I'll
just
stay
away
just
for
a
second
but
and
we
have
a
number
of
people
who
apply
to
be
on
the
board.
So
we'll
have
a
couple
new
members
next
month.

think
there's
still
some
opportunities
to
to
do
their
meet
and
greets,
though
they're
so
they're
fairly
easy
to
set
up.
But
you
know
this
isn't
going
to
last
forever
and
we
probably
should
think
about
that
for
the
year.

other
thing
about
this
is
even
if
it
lasts
into
february,
maybe
there's
some
kind
of
artist
meet
and
greet
that
we
can
do
via
one
of
these
platforms,
which
isn't
most
is
an
ideal
zoom
or
facebook
live.

events

2022

dates

lot

exciting
things
coming

of
course
we're
going
to
have
the
same
signature
event.
So,
the
fourth
of
july,
the
block
party
of
the
sunset
concerts
during
the
summer
there'll
be
kid
stage.

be
markets,
more
markets,
there's

to
be
a
market
series
and
just
a
ton
of
really
cool
stuff.
So
a
lot
of
different
opportunities
for
this
group
to
participate
in
and
be
noticed
at,
and
I
would
love

promote
you
guys

show
off
everything
that
we're
doing
and
I'm
just
open
to
any
questions
that
you
might
have
and
look
forward
to
a
new
year,
full
of
fun,
exciting
inglewood
events,
yeah.

1st
we're
actually
going
to
launch
the
events
website,
which
is

forward,
slash
events
and
we're
excited
that
for
2022.
We're
also
going
to
waive
that
fee
for
the
nonprofits
to
participate

city
events
and
we
have
reformatted
that
costs
and
processes
for
the
vendors
and
sponsors
and
everyone
that
wants
to
participate.
So
looking
to
form
a
bit
of
a
broader
planning
committee
for
the
block
party.

we
don't
necessarily
know
part
of
how
to
fit
in
or
or
what
kind
of
events
music,
public
art
whatever
it
might
be
so
yeah.
No
definitely
it
takes
us
a
couple
months
to
get
there.

guess
is

don't
want
to
have
to
spend
multiple
meetings
like
brainstorming.

if
you
have
specific
things,
we
can
like
act
on
them

little
bit
quicker.

crafts

bought
a
whole
bunch
of
seeds
for
planting
and
I'm
hoping
that
some
of
our
local,
like
birds,
all

floppy
hat
and
some
of
our
local
vendors
will
want
to
be
involved
in
that
as
well.

yeah
we
are
definitely
keeping
the
events
and
enhancing
a
lot
of
them.

some

challenges

along
with
that

challenges,

things

happy.

scene
downtown

downtown
isn't

busking
when
that's

the
paseo
and
there's
music
venues
and

you

the
brewability
has
music
there
on
one
side

the
paseo

medical
corridor
towards
the
kind

such
a
busy
corridor
that

think
that
could
be
kind

rewarding

artist

people
just
kind
of
visit,
visitors
and
whatnot
to
the
hospital.

think,
would
really
enjoy
that.

discussions
we

about
that
about
the
pop-up

that
that
kind
of
art
doesn't
require
maintenance.

doesn't
require
upkeep
at
all,
and
so
that's

way

art
in
the
community
without
having
a
year's,
long
responsibility
to
polish
it
and
clean
it.

that

places

library

cultural
arts
manager,

we

going
to
be
recruiting
very
soon
for
a
new
manager
for
our
library
and
then
the
cultural
arts
as
well.

hopefully,
by
maybe
march.

somebody

board
earlier
would
be

so
that's
the
update
covet
is
running
rampant
through
our
city
staff,
our
library
staff
have
been
cut
in
half
by
covid
and
our
recreation,
centers
and
elsewhere.

idea
that
I
probably
should
have
spoken
up
earlier,
but
I
wasn't
sure
if
it
was
the
right
time
as
we
were
talking
about
concerts
and
other
ideas
for
art
in
the
community.
I
just
wanted
to.
I
had
heard
something
that
I
wanted
to
share
about
again
and
that
was
I'd
read
about
it
in
the
new
york
times
or
something,
but
they
were
doing.

Artists
were
putting
art
installations
on
their
yaw
in
their
yards
or
on
their
garage
or
whatever.
This
was
early
in
the
pandemic,
and
then
it
was
like
a
kind
of
a
drive-by
or
walk
by
or
possibly
bike
by,
depending
on
the
weather,
art
exhibit,
and
so
I
just
want
to
refloat
that
idea
too,
especially
if
we've
gotten
some
new
artists
into
our
list.
Maybe
it's
something
that
people
could
to
do
to
show
their
work
in
a
more
coveted,
safe,
sort
of
way,
while
we're
still
trying
to
figure
out
what
that
looks
like.

that
idea,
one

the
cool
things
I
did
this
summer
that
I
really
enjoyed
as
I
went
to
park
hill
and
they
have
every
people.
I
don't
know
if
you've
done
it,
but
people
have
backyard
art
shows
and
they
have
a
map,
and
so
we
got
the
printed
map
and
walked
neighborhood
to
neighborhood,
because
that's
where
my
in-laws
live
is
over
there
and
got
to
go,
see
artists
in
their
backyard
and
they
sold
their
art,
and
then
they
did
art
demos.

the
yards
had
like
two
artists
from
the
neighborhood,
I
think
they're,
I
want
to
say,
there's
like
14
houses,
but
park
hill
is
like
pretty
big
area,
so
I
think
it's
a
little
bit
bigger

was
so
cool
because
you
had
a
map
and
then
you
just
went
neighborhood
to
neighborhood
and
got
to
see
people's
art
and
they
did
this
whole.
Beautiful
art
display
in
their
backyard
was.

saturday
and
sunday
and
like
in
and
because
it
was
time
it
covered.
Like
one
house
was
closed.
They're,
like
our
house
is
contaminated,
don't
like
just
kind
of
being
artsy
cutesy

all
had
coped
but
yeah
you
just
they
pre-printed
all
the
things
and
all
you
just
walked
from
house
to
house
and
popped
in
the
backyard
that.

really
cool,
I
think
the
one
I
read
about
was
more
like
you
know
they
were
always
on
display
whenever
you
wanted
to,
but
I
like
that
idea
of
of
having
it
be
like
a
first
friday
except
it's.

these
are
all
great.

had
no
specific
plan
when
I
brought
it
