And she's joined, oh great, so I can call this meeting of the Inglewood environmental Association or each order.

um Member Jackie Lowe is unable to make it, but we have a quorum um with member Christina, Underhill and member um president Tim Dodd here, um as we call this meeting to order, uh we don't have any minutes to approve. We don't have I, don't believe anyone here for public forum, um and so we only have one item on the agenda, which is the approval of long-term porta-potties on each property. So what I'd like to do is just have uh Tony arenaldi um and thanks Tony for joining us at short notice.

I'll just give a quick summation of what she would like to do in terms of where she would like to have the Porta bodies and how long she'd like to have them on each property, and then we can take a vote.

Great thanks Tim, um thank you all for joining us on short notice this morning. uh So what are what I would like to talk about is the Inglewood events that are going to be that are already scheduled for this Summer that are happening in the city from the city center circle and the reason for so many more events in the area this year. um Obviously, you know is trying to reactivate that area and then working with um the spark once it is up and going as well.

So we have the market that is scheduled for tomorrow, July 1st, we have another one on August 5th, starting this coming Thursday every Thursday evening in July we have the sunset summer concert series in addition to a happy hour that we've newly added this year and then later in the year, we have the tree lighting and such, but this current situation is not part of that.

What I would love to ask permission from Eep is to be able to have our Port-A-Potty units put at the city center area on the East property and actually left there for the entire month of July. For all of the different events that we're having I know that this has not gone awesome in the past, as um we were, we had gone through waste management and the units weren't being serviced or picked up um or whatever. We were running into some barriers.

I've since been able to connect with United Site Services, and they have agreed to bring the units service them once a week and in addition, they are lockable units which is huge, which means that they would only be used during the events and not left to be used by anyone when they're, not when we're not having events, so that should hopefully sit down on some of the vandalize them um or and designed activities that might be happening in the portalets and then with them being serviced and United being willing to come out at any time.

We call if it needs an additional service.

um It should definitely help with the smell and the cleanliness and um the existence of the portalets being in the area where I would like to propose that they be is in an area against the wall, not near doors that people are using and a lot coming in and out of not near Windows.

um That people have to sit in the offices and look out at them an area against the wall of the city center in between the circle and the amphitheater. So they can be used by both groups of people attending those areas and be left there from today. Until after the event on August 5th, and then they will be renewed.

Okay, thank you um I guess. I just said one question which is um now that we're doing this I mean: do you anticipate a new that could go past August 5th, like? Would it be helpful to you just so? We don't have to do this again of extending the data out further or is that the date you think you would definitely need to remove them by.

Any being scheduled in the circle well, I have I guess: I do have um the turkey Fest in November, where we give out the free turkeys, um but I, don't know that it would be necessary to pay a monthly fee to have them from now until November, if we did from now until after the August event, and then um have them brought back out, uh probably just one unit for that.

One event um in November would financially fiscally be more responsible than to have them sitting there, um the entire time but I'm open to whatever you all think would be the best. um The.

Best or application Tony, what's the date for the tree lighting, it is on December, 2nd and what's the date for the turkey giveaway.

November 17th and December 2nd.

And I did ask Melinda did or actually Michelle did say. I appreciate, Michelle you having that uh thought. um I wanted to just give in your role in kind of managing the youth property. I just wanted to give you a chance to ask Tony any questions you may have.

Yeah um good morning, um I, don't think I have any any questions and then that um that the cost of these units would would be billed directly to you that the invoices and so forth.

Correct so all of that would come um directly um to me and I would pay for that um out of the Inglewood events, funds as we do allocate from having the heavy units at our events so and then actually um United States services and set a quote and it's considerably cheaper than what we'll take us and they offer considerably more services. So I'm excited about this partnership with them. So.

Okay, that yeah, that that sounds good and then also my my only concern is, is when we've had the satellites on site. Previously they were just such a source of vandalism and um and a number of them had even been burned, and things like that and that's my my I- see the the common sense and the justification to to leave them there, because you've got a lot of activities occurring in July, but I'm I'm a bit worried about them being vandalized and um and I. Don't know that location where you're sitting them.

If there are, if, if that location is picked up by the security cameras and if that might deter the vandalism and then it it's also um beneficial that we're into the warmer weather months and so that people won't try to get into those sanilates to stay warm at night or get out of that the weather and things like that so um um I'm.

So hopefully it won't be too much of an issue in in the short term and for for a month or so and and I think the activities you're planning are great and uh so definitely want to be supportive of that. But but those are the only things that come to mind uh this morning that I was curious about.

Oh, that's great and very valid concerns. I do know that with the uptick and security that we've that's been provided at the city center and that's been amazing and um the I like the location that we're putting them because they do walk out to the amphitheater area, um I mean I've, seen them out. There I think that the ones that were burned behind the amphitheater at near the bus stop Iowa, I, agree. I, wouldn't 100 be concerned about placing them there as they're out of the camera site and whatnot.

But um I do think that these would be um well managed, especially um as that area is activated as there will be lots more people coming and going out of those office spaces and in those office spaces and in the spark area, and so there'll be a lot more eyes on them and I love that these are being able to be locked where the past units I have had um were simply only secured by a zip tie, and these actually have a lock on them.

Oh yeah that yeah that's good to hear and I think that that is depth. You know a good precaution that we'll be taking and so forth and then, as you're um speaking um I'll I'll, make sure that the security company knows about these activities.

We've got planned the month of July and then let them know that um we will leave the porta potties on site for for until the first part of of August, and so that when they do their rounds in the, if area, they can make sure just to walk past and and to check on those so that um that was a good reminder. Thanks.

Okay, yeah and I guess my only comments are similar to Melinda's and thanks again Michelle for thinking sure Melinda was here for this discussion um yeah. Would it be okay Tony, if maybe like, um so we have a meeting I think in two weeks in mid-july, um you don't need to come, but maybe would you be willing to send Christina, Jackie and Melinda and I just a quick update um just to see how things are going and if they're is any need from us in terms of you know needing to approve, moving it or signage.

Please feel free to come to us and then certainly feel free to um you know reach out to Melinda. If you have any questions on any of the things that she addressed so yeah. So would you just be willing to give us a good, quick, written update in a couple weeks to see how things are going.

Yeah absolutely I, love that and I also would um please feel free to share my um contact information with the security company to that if they saw or and all of you of course, if there's ever a time that it needs to be moved and it needs to be cleaned anything to deal with them, why they are on site and on the East property um we can reach out to them immediately and I would be happy to be back.

Yeah definitely um the elevator is down right now um and our vendors refusing to repair it because of the cleanliness and just getting beat up so we're working on getting a third party out here to clean it and for them to come back. They came back like three times refused the work on it, and so we're kind of in the middle of trying to get him moving. um It's been down for a few weeks now so just wanted to make you aware of that.

Thank you for that, because that is important. I actually had a citizen reach out to ask about the if it was in operation because they need it in order to SMB them.

Tony, let them know there is a ramp. I know it's not as convenient as the elevator dropping you off at the amphitheater, but there is a ramp on the North End of the RTD Station. They could access.

Yeah thanks Trey um for all the work that you've been dealing with with the elevator for quite some time now, and for that update, I did yeah talked to Victor yesterday, and so, as you mentioned, we do need to hire a company to come out to do a specific cleaning for it before we're able to have the um the company that you mentioned, come and fix it so um yeah so we're we are working on that and I do believe uh right, Trey that we're working to secure that company now to do the cleaning.

um So uh we have, we have Tara care, um they do all the groundskeeping and cleaning and they don't think that they do a good enough job which is kind of like a slap in their face which I don't they. He does a great job. He has the right cleaning stuff. He has a pressure washer.

um They just had a tech. He had a bad bad attitude. He came in um not so respectful, so we're just granting it this one time and I. Just don't think budget wise and um we can handle it because it happens once a week at least right. So but after this one you know, we've been working with them. So much and um it's kind of been a one-sided thing right now, so hopefully they they start helping out too kind of meeting us in the middle.
