Englewood
city
park
was
a
point
of
pride
for
residents,
fishing,
picnics
dancing
and
even
car
racing
made
the
share
space.

unique
gathering
place
for
families
all
built
on
the
grounds
of
the
former
tillery's
gardens
in
1947
norman
bud.
Mcclellan
took
on
the
task
of
building
a
private
golf
course
on
his
21-acre
goat
farm
adjacent
to
the
park.

Cinderella
city
became
the
largest
mall
west
of
the
mississippi
and
eventually
made
its
way
into
the
annals
of
inglewood
history
bud.
Mclellan's
son
jim
became
a
professional
golfer
and
while
the
mountain
view,
golf
club
is
long
gone,
mcclellan's
name
lives
on
the
mclellan
reservoir
named
in
his
honor
stores
water
for
the
residents
of
englewood
to
this
day,
and
it
all
happened
right
here
in
what
we
now
call
inglewood
colorado.
