quarter
study.
This
is
it's
actually
being
managed
by
the
city
of
Littleton
and
it's
basically
evaluating
Broadway
between
all
the
way
from
C470
up
through
city
of
Denver,
so
it's
kind
of
looking
at
all
the
different
cross-sections
and
uses
and
different
characteristics
of
Broadway
and
trying
to
trying
to
tie
some
things
together
to
create
a
little
more
of
a
consistent
or
a
pass-through.

Look
that
it's
people
can
travel
north
to
south
on
there
and
have
a
similar
type
of
experience
with
the
different
modes
of
transportation.
So
this
level
two
screening
here
is
the
kind
of
the
phase
they're
in
right
now,
which
is
it
looking
at
several
different
Improvement
Alternatives
and
looking
at
benefits
and
drawbacks.
So
the
each
of
the
goals
on
the
left,
that's
kind
of
the
project
goals
that
they
went
through
and
then
through
a
different
objectives
for
each
goal
and
kind
of
the
the
benefits
and
drawbacks
to
each
one.

go

everything
on

It's
pretty
extensive
what
they've
done
here,
but
we
did
want
to
go
over
kind
of
the
the
status
and
get
some
feedback
on
some
of
the
proposed
Concepts
they're,
looking
at
for
through
Inglewood
anyways,
to
see
what
you
all
think
about
the
the
proposals
here
and
if
we
want
to
to
give
some
feedback
on
what
we'd
like
to
see
in
Nazi.
As
far
as
this
goes,
but
anyway,
the
it's.

that
might
demand
might
change
with
different
improvements
for
connectivity
and
pedestrian
and
bike
improvements,
so
so
the
the
kind
of
the
next
step
after
they
do.
This
tier
two
screening
is
going
to
be
the
kind
of
the
formalizing
they're
looking
at
different
nodes
along
Broadway.
It's
kind
of
a
transportation
node
that'd
be
a
more
focused
improvements
around
different
nodes,
and
one
of
those
would
be
the
3400
block
of
Broadway
here
in
Englewood
kind
of
downtown
Englewood.
They'd.

at
doing
some
connectivity
there
to
make
sure
people
could
get
to
that.
Node,
where
there's
a
lot
of
different
Transit
options
and
places
to
get
on
the
bus
and
ride
your
bike
and
stop
for
different
shopping
and
food

things

on
that
block
of
Broadway
and
then
one
at
Bellevue
and
Broadway

the
kind
of
the
concerns
with
this
Broadway
Corridor
study
committee
is
that
you
know
the
Way
Englewood
is
structured
now,
the
way
we've
done,
our
section
of
Broadway
between
Bellevue
and
285,
we're
looking
to
put
in
the
bike
lane
over
on
Sherman
and
that's
creating
a
little
bit
of
you
know.
Kind
of
difference
with
the
rest
of
the
the
other
cities
and
stuff
are
not
looking
to
put
their
bikes
on
on
a
local
Street
on
off
Broadway,
so
they're
still
kind
of
looking
to
us
to
see.

out
in
traffic
and
we've
really
kind
of
been
pushing
back
on,
our
bikes
are
going
to
be
on
Sherman
and
we
want
to
integrate
Sherman
with
the
rest
of
the
quarter
there
for
the
bike,

we're

want

get
some
thoughts
from
the
committee
here
on.
What
you
think
is
that
something
we'd
want

dual
bike
lanes

the

Broadway

section
between

and
Bellevue,
looking
at
possibly
a
dual
bike
lane
and
one

Sherman

one

Broadway

comfortable
Riders

department

Rapid
Transit
and
stuff.

at

the

consideration
is
something

Inwood
residents

think

want

demand
or
be
interested

which

we

keep

bikes
on
Broadway.

the
whole
way
through,
especially

what
other
cities

since
this
is
planning
for
the
far
future,

say
like
why
not
both,

not
have
a
bike
lane
on
Broadway
and
make
either
Sherman
or
perhaps
another
Street
into

slow
Street

longer
term

You
know
there
there's
some
businesses
a
lot
of
businesses
on
Broadway
that
maybe
don't
have
much
of
a
parking
lot.
So
I
think
you
know,
maintaining
some
level
of
parking
is
going
to
be
important
for
buying
from
the
community
and
just
from
not
just
a
business
point,
but
also
citizens
as
well.
You
know
they
don't
want
to
park
at
the
end
of
the
block
and
walk
around.

So
you
know
the
thought
of
Broadway
being
one
Northbound
and
one
southbound
lane
is
very
interesting
and
something
I
haven't
really
thought
much
about
with
the
bus.
Rapid
Transit,
but
you
know
I
think
that,
especially
with
that
Broadway
Corridor
I
mean
that
is
a
major
Community,
Transportation
Corridor.
It's
got
so
much
commercial
through
our
community.
On
that
that
you
know
having
that
bus
be
able
to
access
those
areas,
I
think
is
important
as
well
for
people
commuting
and
just
business
access.

So,
regarding
the
rapid
transit
piece,
you
know
I
think
doing
our
part
to
make
that
thoroughfare
through
the
broader
metro
area
would
be
important
thing
to
do,
and
you
know
I'm
not
going
to
lose
problems
with
that
either
I'd
think
about
some
of
the
capital
costs
for
doing
this
and
you're
basically
completely
tearing
up
Broadway
to
make
it
happen
and
I
understand.
This
is
long-term,
but
you
know:
we've
got
some
nice
mediums
and
I
don't
know
if
we
would
be
able
to
maintain
much
of
those.

having
it
go
through,
especially
in
this
section
of
town:
I,
think
that
I
don't
have
any
problem
with
having
the
bikes
on
Broadway
I
do
like
Sherman
as
an
option
and
I
think
that
could
be
to
gross
point
of
secondary
or
a
thoroughfare
or
something,
but
it
does
kind
of
take.
If
we're
trying
to
promote
that
kind
of
traffic
up
and
down
the
roadway
moving
the
bikes
away.
Gonna,
you
know,
decrease
the
access
to
business
which
we're
really
trying
to
promote
people
coming
to
that
Central,
Area
kind
of
that
commercial
Corridor.

They
were,
they
had
enough
money
to
figure
out
the
timing
of
those
and
whether
they're
not
working
as
well,
and
so
we
are
actually
going
to
be
able
to
implement
some
new
timing
on
those
signals,
which
is
a
good
news
for
Inglewood
anyway,
we'll
be
able
to
people,
can
move
through
England
a
little
bit
better
and
not
have
to
stop
at
every
light.
So
that
was
that's.
The
work
has
been
done
on
that
we're
just
now
waiting
for
the
implementation
of
that
we've
got
to
work
with
seed
out
there.

Get
off
at
Federal,
so
they're,
going
to
be
able
to
Denver
is
working
on
a
project
now
to
go
ahead
and
re-stripe
that
and
make
three
lanes
across
that
Federal
Bridge.
So
there's
not
that
lane
drop
off
anymore.
It
should
hope
some
of
that
congestion
through
there.
So
that's
not
only
in
Englewood,
but
Houston
helps
it
will
back
up
all
the
way
to
Santa
Fe
anymore
it'll
help
that
situation.

that's
good
news
there,
so
those
are
two
things
that
have
come
out
of
the
study
that
are
actually
going
to
be
implemented
here
fairly
soon.
So
it's
good
to
see
some
some
action
items
from
the
study,
but
the
otherwise
I
think
that's
the
the
two
main
outcomes
right
now
and
these
other
Concepts
here
are
more
what
the
consultant
is
looking
to
do
is
they
would
probably
put
together
with
the
budget.
We
have
it's
only
175
000.

They
could
put
together,
basically
a
kind
of
a
20
Level
plan
set
for
each
of
these
Alternatives
and
kind
of
a
cost
estimate.
So
we
can
possibly
go
after
a
grant
in
the
future.
Is
the
thought
that
you
know
the
more
detailed
plans
and
things
you
have
and
as
cost
estimates,
the
better
chance
you
have
of
getting
a
grant
because
it
shows
it's
feasible
and
it's
something
you
can't
Implement
and
it's
within
the
budget
that
you're
saying
so
so
we'll
kind
of
go
through
each
of
these
a
little
bit
here.

until
that
energy
is
widened
out,
there's
not
not
a
whole
lot
of
good
going
to
be
done
with
doing
much
on
Santa
Fe
right
there
to
the
east.
It's
just
that
bridge
is
really
the
bottleneck.
That's
really
causing
a
lot
of
the
the
traffic
issues
now,
so
that's
that's
something
that
that
kind
of
moved
down
the
list
a
little
bit,
because
that
whitening,
that
bridge
is
obviously
a
really
high
dollar
project
and
it's
going
to
take
a
lot
of
time
and
effort.

probably
not
something
that's
going
to
be
implemented
in
the
near
future,
but
that's
the
the
concept
there
to
be
able
to
to
wind
that
out
and
get
get
more
traffic
through
there.
So
the
next
one
here
we've
got
is
this
is
Colorado

Happy
Canyon
I'll.
Let
Victor
talk
about
this
part
he
drives
through
this
every
day.

multiple
access
points

well

drop
Lanes
really
are
the
or
the
real
trouble
there
and
the
narrowing
with
those
drop.
Lanes
everybody
shuffles
over
and
there's
a

real
merge
challenge

So

they're
trying
to
do
is
eliminate
that
merge
and
make
sure
that
the
capacity
is
at
the
intersections
so
that
you
don't
have
that
weave
pattern
which
causes
a
bottleneck,
particularly
in
the
eastbound
Direction
in
the
afternoon
and
then
westbound
in
the
morning.

looks

strong
destination

they're

the

looking

improve
signal
timing,
as
well
as
by
changing
the
access
configurations

converting

outside

Englewood
section

We
were
lucky

get
the
signal.

done
anyway

win

yeah,
not
necessarily
in
Inglewood,
but
they
certainly
could
help
traffic
flow
through
the
corridor
there
and
be
able
to
get
people
East
and
West
a
little
bit
faster.

light
stay
red

long
time
so
they're
trying
to
do
a
pedestrian,
overpass
or
underpass

guess
they're,
looking
at
an
underpass
to
so
pedestrians
won't
have
to
walk
across
there

signal
cycle
the
to
increase
and
back
up
the
cars.
So
much
so
that's
this
one
is
pretty
challenging,
though.
As
far
as
the
grades
and
stuff,
it's
pretty
difficult
to
do
something
like

grant

to
be

expensive
to
do

like
that

working

picked

looking
at
making
these
changes
to

make
it
a
little
bit
easier

anyway,
and
then
you
get
stopped
up
with
Knox
Court
there,

Hampden

lot
of
the
focusing
that
we
looked
at
before
was
was
focused
on
the
Englewood
section
itself.

there
bottlenecks
in
these
areas?

work

home,

I
hardly
ever
take
Camden
during
during
Peak
traffic
or
going
whichever
ways
so
yeah
I'm
just
kind
of
curious,
like
obviously
going
three.

So
the
progression
is
a
little
bit
better
to
get
through
each
signal
and
not
back
things
up
quite
as
much
so
that's
really
the
biggest
the
other
one
item
they're
looking
at
through
the
some
of
the
Englewood
intersections,
some
of
the
the
right
turns
and
those
little
pork
chop.
Islands
are
kind
of
shaped
a
little
bit
oddly,
where
you're
living
up
to
look
over
your
shoulder
to
see
if
a
car
is
coming
and
they're
trying
to
there's
some
thought
about,
maybe
reconfiguring
those.

So
so
people
are
able
to
you
know
kind
of
look,
look
forward
and
not
have
to
look
so
far
behind.
Then
you
get
a
lot
of
rear,
end
accidents
or
somebody's
looking
back
and
I,
don't
realize,
there's
a
car
in
front
of
them.
So
this
concept
here
kind
of
shows
how
they're
looking
to
maybe
triangle
these
things.

better
to
make
it
a
little
bit
more
of
a
straight
on
so
you're
not
having
to
train
your
neck,
so
much
to
look
behind
you

see

there's
a
car
coming
or
whatever,

that's

option

aspect

being
able

pedestrians

having

those

you
see
how
that's

a

sweep

difficult

car

coming
and
if
you
have
to
stop
or
not,
and
if
you're
kind
of
trying
to
look
over
your
shoulder
while
you're
moving
ahead,
it
makes
it
difficult
to
eat.
Sometimes
you
don't
look
ahead
and
you
don't
realize.

it's
just
more

a

safety
type

think
it's
just

little
more
trying

prevent
accidents
because
obviously
accidents
cause
congestion

an
accident

detention

makes
it
a
little
safer.

each
other

not
not
run
into
each

down

federal

that
direction?

it
will
help
move
traffic
through

could

promote

speed
through
those
areas

between

stuff

closer
to
25
and
the
stuff
that's
wet

us

I
would
recommend
that
we
request
some
proposals
or
I.
Don't
know
what
exactly
we
request,
but
something
that
will
help
ensure
that
the
speeds
aren't
accepted
through
our
area,
because
I
think
this
will
just
make
it
a
little
bit
more
of
an
exacerbation
over
problem.
That's
already
existing!

you

they're
coming
in
hot
from
I-25
people
are
coming
in
fast
from
you
know,
coming
on
westbound
into
town.
So,
just
something
to
think
about
I
don't
know
if
there
are
like
other
changes.
That
would
be
complementary
to

we

that
would
really
sort
of
give
it
that
sense
of
pace
to
slow
it
down
as
it
comes
through.

is

a

the

known

CDOT

that

you've
driven
it
real
recently
you've
seen
a
lot
of

have
been
closing

with
the

been

over
the

significant
amount

difficult

congested
part

the
city.

we're
almost
through
it.

new
bike
lanes
and
the
all
the
bikes
are
going
to
be
diverted
around
the
other
side
of
that
new
island
there
and
then
cross
over
the
the
center
medium
there.
And
it's
once
it's
all
straight.

think
it's
going
to
be
pretty
nice.

pretty

there's
a
lot
of
good
connectivity
and

we're
gonna
be
a
lot
easier
for
bikes
and
heads
to
get
through
there
and
for
cars

see
them
and
understand
how

people

supposed

move

area

Corridor
there.

that's
one

we're
also
eliminating
one
of
the
through
lanes
and
turning
it
into
a
bike
lane.

we're

need
for
two

Lanes

there

Colorado
State
Legislature
passed
a
bill.
If
you

to
look
it

SB
23-200,

automated
vehicle
identification
systems,
and
so
this
makes

understand
it,
makes
it
so
that
photo
speed.
Enforcement
is
something
that
can
be
legally
enforceable.
So
it's
previously
something
that
a
city
could
choose
to
do
or
but
was
not
legally
enforceable,
and
this
now
makes
it
legally
enforceable.

note
that
Aurora
recently
started
doing
enforcement,
Auto
enforcement
kind
of
like
Denver
and
vans,
so
to
speak
on
residential
roads.
It's
more
of
a
quality
of
life
thing,
so
you
wouldn't
see
Iman
like
Hampden,
285
or
Bellevue
these.
This
is
really
a
residential
kind
of
approach
around
schools,
somewhat
similar
to
our
missing
sidewalks.
Having
those
high
priority
areas
where
we
know
there
are
a
lot
of
pedestrians.
There
could
be
younger
individuals
around
schools.

like
that
and
speeds
are
obviously
important
everywhere,
but
they're
hyper
critical
in
those
kind
of
zones
so
to
speak,
yeah
and
not
directly
related,
but
I
would
mention.
The
police
department
is
now
participating
in
a
vehicle
identification
program.
That's
county-wide
and
Statewide
and
they've
had
some
really
good.

stolen
vehicles,

Alert,
Vehicles
things
like
that.

seems
to
be
a
really
good
program
and
we
do
have
a
few
of
those
cameras
inside
the
city.

about

tickets

area

about

inches

the
cabinet
has
a
short
in

board

back

caused

heads

function

going
to
wait
until
the
contractors

and
flashing

it

day

day's

was
Denver,
obviously
did
their
e-bike
program,
and
since
we
are
Transportation,
it
seems
like
e-bikes
are
all
their
age
here
to
stay,
improving
so

getting

more
popular
as
a
mode
of
transportation.
So
just
kind
of
thinking
through
what
that
means.

I
can
speak
to
that
and
I'll
layer
in
an
update,
I
forgot
to
to
mention
during
director's
Choice
as
part
of
that.
So
we
have
in
the
2024
budget
a
parking
program
management
line
item,
so
we're
hoping
to
engage
with
a
consultant
to
help
us
break
down
some
of
the
fragmented
parking
challenges
that
we
see.
Public
Works
has
got
a
piece
codes
got
a
piece.
A
Pd's
got
I
mean
it's
kind
of
all
over
the
place,
so
we
hope
to
to
do
that
as
part
of
that
program,
we're
going
to
be
looking
at
e-scooters
and
e-bikes,
because
those
do
have
to
be
parked
and
we
don't
want
them
on
sidewalks
blocking
Ada
access.
So
our
goal
is
with
forming
that
program
to
try
and
address
that.
At
the
same
time
we
are
also
the
only
Department
that
got
a
full-funded
FTE
so
far
in
the
budget.
For
a
traffic
engineer
for
the
city,
it
was
highly
supported
by
all
departments.

one
of
the
things
other
than
you
know,
Vision
zero
traffic
calming
will
be
helping
work
on
this
parking
program
for
the
for
the
traffic
engineer.
So
sorry
I
forgot
to
mention
the
position
earlier.
I
did
want
to
just
make
sure
the
committee
was
aware
that
we're
pushing
for
that
and
so
far
so
good
in
the
budget
fingers
crossed
we're
almost
over
the
Finish
Line
with
getting
that
position
approved.
