A
Just
a
little
bit
about
my
experience
with
improv,
I
have
been
doing
improv
since
2007.
I
have
studied
in
improv
olympic
laugh-out-loud
theater,
as
well
as
west
side
improv
and
I
still
perform
every
week,
but
on
the
business
side,
I'm
in
the
private
sector,
I'm
a
director
of
business
development
and
I've
been
doing
that
for
about
10
years
and
I
improvised
every
day,
like
most
of
you,
I
have
two
songs.
Well,
they're,
not
small
anymore
got
two
kids
and
they
definitely
keep
me
on
my
toes
everything.
A
B
A
little
bit
about
my
background,
I
know
you're
going
to
be
surprised
that
I'm,
the
311
Thunderman
interfere
in
evanston
in
case
you
didn't
hear
that
this
morning,
but
I
also
have
spent
a
long
time
at
the
police
department,
sometimes
longer
than
some
of
you
who
have
been
around.
I
mean
age
wise.
I
have
worked
all
over
the
police
department.
I
also
in
my
other
life,
was
a
flight
attendant
for
a
major
carrier
for
25
years.
B
So
we
improvise
every
day
with
either
one
of
those
jobs,
and
I
know
you
guys
can
relate
to
improvising
as
were
at
work
as
well.
I
started
an
improv
because
my
mom
cut
out
it
and
it
said,
study
and
Claire's
workshop
of
Second
City
and
she
put
a
little
note
on
it
because
you're
loud
and
it
was
the
best
advice
ever
and
yes,
I'm
still
out
I
have
no
inside
voice.
B
B
It
so
we
want
to
talk
about
today's
agenda,
we're
going
to
talk
about
what
is
improv
just
in
case
you
don't
know,
and
the
other
part
is
rules
of
improv.
Of
course,
for
someone
like
me,
it
cracks
me
up.
There
are
rules
of
improv
so
who
knew
and
I
thinking
of
and
I,
think
I
know
in
your
folders.
You
have
a
list
of
rules
and
we
will
not
be
going
over
every
single
one.
I
promise
we're
going
to
talk
about
working
improv.
C
A
Right
so
by
our
brains
of
raising
your
hands
as
anyone
in
the
room
done
improv
in
their
life
before
awesome,
we
will
remove
very
go
on
how
about
has
anyone
seen
in
profit?
I'm
not
talking
about
stand-up,
I'm
talking
about
an
actual
team.
Improv
awesome
awesome,
so
you
know
you
don't
kind
of
know
how
it
goes.
We
go
on
stage
and
we
pretend
and
play
make-believe
just
like
we
did
when
we
were
kids.
A
The
definition
of
improv
is
something
that
is
performed
or
created
without
a
script,
so
the
funniest
thing
learned
when
I
first
started
doing
improv
at
you're,
using
two
parts
of
your
brain
at
once:
you're
remembering
and
creating
at
the
same
time.
So
it's
a
really
good
exercise
to
keep
us
youthful
for
sure
some
of
the
forms
of
improv
music.
As
we
know
jazz,
we
also
have
classic
and
probably
like
we
just
performed
and
I
just
want
to
bring
it
back
to
everyday
life.
A
One
of
the
greatest
gifts
I
got
I'm
doing
improv
was
actually
learning
how
to
use
it.
In
my
life
agreement
justification
working
with
others
having
a
the
ability
to
laugh
at
myself
through
good
times
and
bad,
and
in
my
work
life
it
has
made
a
huge
impact,
as
I
do
sales.
So
I
talked
to
everybody,
and
one
of
the
main
points
of
improv
is
listening.
Listening
is
a
huge
part
of
improv.
You
can't
move
forward
and
be
available
to
your
partner
if
you're,
not
listening
and
I.
A
Think
everybody
in
every
aspect
of
our
lives
needs
to
work
on
this
skill,
especially
with
all
our
cell
phones
and
technology,
how
we
can
get
sucked
in
so
so
as
far
as
that
goes
when
I
was
I'll,
tell
you
a
little
story
about
recently,
actually
where
I
had
to
actually
use
improv
in
my
job,
I
was
at
a
meaning
sales
meeting,
and
it
was
at
the
point
where
we
were
proposing.
We
were
all
prepared.
We
had
our
slides
done.
A
We
had
the
contract
created,
everything
was
done
and
in
the
room
walked
a
new
buyer
and
he
had
completely
flipped
the
script
on
us
and
changed
everything
changed
what
he
was
expecting
changed.
What
the
scope
of
the
program
was
going
to
look
like
and
on-the-fly.
We
really
had
to
listen
number
one
and
agree
number
two,
it's
I
know
if
that
was
hey
and
number
three.
We
had
to
come
up
with
something
with
him
collaboratively
and
I
truly
don't
think
that
I
would
have
been
able
to
do
that
without
these
skills
that
I
learned
in
class.
C
B
B
What's
that
I
didn't
hear
you
I
heard
a
joke,
but
I
didn't
if
you're
it
how
about,
during
the
weather
event
ordering
out
of
staff
shortage
shortage?
What
do
we
do
instead
of
maybe
entering
in
our
CRM?
Maybe
we
do
a
google
doc?
Maybe
we
do
an
excel
sheet
and
we
can
provide.
Maybe
we
buy
that
lunch
and
we
say
here
don't
move
answer.
Your
third
call
so.
C
A
Where
would
you
like
to
go?
I
don't
know?
Where
would
you
like
to
go?
I,
don't
know
you
end
open
car
for
an
hour.
You
have
nowhere,
but
if
you
say
yes
and
add
well,
I
would
like
to
go
to
wildfire.
Then
you're
there
you're
somewhere
and
it's
just.
It
is
a
skill.
It's
a
skill
that
we
all
can
learn
and
really
truly
use
in
the
workplace,
and
some
of
the
stuff
that
it
teaches
us
is
obviously
present.
A
D
D
B
Us
to
you
to
take
home,
59
pics
what
we
consider
our
three
favorite
rules,
which,
what
we're
going
to
talk
about
today
and
weave
in
and
out
as
we
go
through
our
exercises
in
our
game
since
our
warm-ups.
The
second
rule
that
we
love
is
thinking
outside
of
the
box.
That's
me
and
that's:
Vicki,
I'm,
more
mature
and
that's
or
maybe
I'm
older,
so
I
got
a
bigger
box,
but
really
the
most
important
thing
about
thinking
outside
of.
D
B
C
B
That
raise
you
didn't
phone
me
up
here
for
that,
so
you
know,
and
what
do
we
do?
We
shift
gears
and
again
we
would
want
to
use
that
yes
and
to
move
things
forward
and
go
from
there.
We
also
just
going
back
to
our
lovely
diagram
again
that
thinking
outside
of
the
box.
Does
it
fit
into
all
these
different
character
categories,
and
we
pick
categories
that
were
high
to
us
that
we
wanted
to
share
with
you
today
about
being
in
the
moment,
being
creative
communication
skills
and,
of
course,
going
hand
in
hand
with
listening
skills.
A
So,
yes,
we
all
have
two
ears
and
one
mouth,
so
we
should
probably
listen
twice
as
much
as
we
talk.
I
heard
that
a
long
time
ago
and
I
another
thing
you
know,
I
talked
about
practice
and
learning
these
skills,
because
we
are
all
I,
don't
know
about
you,
but
I'm
guilty
of
thinking.
What
I'm
going
to
say.
Well,
somebody
else
is
talking
so
I'm,
not
getting
the
full
picture
of
what's
going
on,
and
especially
in
these
contact,
centers
and
call
centers.
You
really
do
need
to
listen.
A
I
mean
that's
a
major
point
of
your
job,
just
as
it
is
in
sales
and
in
improv.
We
really
have
to
focus
and
listen
to
what
our
partners
saying,
because
if
we
don't
everybody's
looking
at
us
like
Oh,
what
are
you
talking
about?
What
planet
Mars
so
so
an
example
of
listening
is,
let's
say,
I'm
on
stage
with
Sue
and
who
tells
me,
while
you
are
the
most
handsome
man
on
Mars
well,
I
came
into
the
scene.
Thinking
I
was
the
most
beautiful
girl
in
America.
So
what
am
I
supposed
to
do?
A
Well,
first
of
all,
I
had
to
listen
to
hear
that
and
second
of
all,
I
had
to
agree.
I
had
to
say
yes,
I
am
the
most
handsome
man
on
Mars
and
the
richest.
So
you
know
we
we
we
do
this
silly
heightened
stuff
and
improv,
but
it
actually
makes
retaining
some
of
this
information
quite
fun.
It
makes
it
engaging.
It
makes
us
learn
and
practice
skills
because,
like
I
said,
I
don't
know
about
you,
but
every
day,
there's
so
much
coming
at
me.
Listening
can
be
can
be
quite
a
challenge.
B
B
Every
time
that
we
perform,
we
present
basically
I.
Do
it
at
the
call
center
just
to
get
attention
just
getting
a
lead
to
warm
ups
and
like
we
have
to
warm
up
our
brain
as
well
as
a
physical,
warm
up,
you're
going
to
ask
everyone
to
join
us.
We
will
not
sweat
you're,
not
going
to
run
around
in
the
parking
lot
or
just
going
to
ask
everybody
to
stand
and.
A
A
So,
just
to
bring
us
all
present
just
take
two
deep
breaths
in
and
out.
We
do
this
before
every
show
just
to
get
everybody
on
the
same
page
and
get
the
energy
in
the
room
flowing
and
realize
that
nobody's
judging,
you
they're
all
worried
about
what
they're
doing
themselves
so
deep
breath
in
deep
breath
in
and
now
all
right
so
find
a
partner
someone.
Next
you
I
can
be
beautiful.
You
guys
can.
C
C
A
E
B
D
B
A
So
this
is
a
this
is
just
to
get
your
brain
and
thinking
in
terms
of
improv,
because
thinking
outside
of
the
box
as
soon
saying
you
know,
that
was
something
that
came.
They
came
up
with
in
the
70s
and
80s
in
business
to
make
people
think
laterally,
I,
say
just
to
improv
and
pretend
play
for
time
like
you
are
a
kid
so.
A
On
the
count
of
three
we're
doing
this
together,
I'll
give
you
an
example:
we're
going
to
point
to
something
in
front
of
us
or
near
us,
and
we're
going
to
call
it
something.
It
is
not
so
I'm
not
going
to
call
this
a
computer,
I'm
going
to
call
this
a
buffalo
and,
as
we
count
degree,
will
all
just
keep
ringing
renaming
different
things
in
front
of
you,
but
name
it
something
different
like
this
is
nail
polish.
C
A
B
A
B
Going
to
give
you
a
gift,
I
am
going
to
give
you
a
gift.
So
one
of
our
favorite
things
in
improv
is
to
give
someone
a
gift,
and
I
am
going
to
give
Vicky's
gift
she's,
going
to
name
that
gift
and
I'm
going
to
justify
it.
You
guys
are
going
to
do
this
as
well
as
well,
so
I'm
going
to
give
Vicky's
gift
I
need
the
water
running.
This
wireless
mart
over
here
and
I'm
going
to
give
her
this
gift.
B
Oh,
but
you
have
a
Ferrari
to
live
in
so
anyway,
what
you
know,
what
we're
going
to
do
gift
giving
and
that's
going
to
remind
us
about
listening
and
agreement
in
improv.
We
love
gifts,
that's
actually
what
we
like
to
do
is
make
our
partners
look
good,
and
that
is
truly
what
instable
you
know
when
you
do
stand-up
it's
a
whole
59.
The
gift
is
to
make
your
partner
liquid.
Think
about
that
in
your
work
world
and
with
the
team
number
or
a
boss.
So
we're
going
to
ask
you.
B
A
The
a
person
will
give
the
gift
first
you're
each
going
to
get
a
gift.
Don't
worry
a
will,
give
the
gift
to
be.
First
so
a
says
here:
Sally
I
just
got
you
this
gift
and
then
Sally
will
say
thanks.
Pat
I
really
love
this
horsey
and
then
hat
will
say
well.
I
know
you
need
a
number
C
because
you
got
to
get
on
up
out
of
here.
Oh
come.
A
B
A
B
A
You
need
it
in
because
you
need
to
take
a
break
girl.
Oh
I,.
C
B
C
B
B
B
Mean
it's
gonna
sit
down.
If
you
like,
you
can
always
remain
standing.
We
were
going
to
do
some
other
fun
exercises
as
well
as
in
forming
process.
Movement.
First
of
tony
was
it
that
was
a
yes
and
absolutely
because
if
you
had
said
thinking
of
giving
me
a
gift
and
I
said,
oh,
this
is
a
lovely
of
something
it
so.
B
B
C
A
C
C
D
B
B
C
B
A
That's
the
idea
is
to
connect
with
each
other
and
a
different
level.
You
know
we
all
come
to
work
with
our
own
issues
and
problems
from
the
day
and
stress
and
we're
breaking
things
up
on
the
podium,
but
I
did
put
a
deposit,
but
when
we
do
these
kinds
of
things
you
know
we
really
get
out
of
our
head
and
remind
ourselves
that
let's
have
fun,
let's
have
fun
together.
We
have
to
be
together,
so
we
might
as
well
make
it
a
little
fun.
A
So
right
now,
I'm
going
to
just
go
over
with
you
we're
going
to
do
some
classic
improv
scenes
for
you
guys,
and
some
of
them
will
be
audience
participation
and
some
of
them
will
be
audible,
though
all
the
audience
participation
because
you've
reached
participated
with
putting
those
slips
in
there.
So
that's
that's
going
to
be
a
lot
of
fun,
but
just
to
give
you
an
idea
of,
sometimes
we.
D
A
A
And
they
and
we
might
ask
you
for
a
location
that
can
fit
on
the
stage.
Please
don't
put
us
in
a
porta
potti
starbucks
is
fine.
You
can
put
us
at
your
grandma's
house
and
we'll
create
it
so
so
we'll
be
coming
around
and
asking
for
some
suggestions
asking
just
think
about.
If
you're
a
little
bit
brave,
there's
a
couple
things
you
can
come
up
here,
you
don't
have
to
do
any
of
the
acting.
You
will
just
be
fueling
our
scenes
with
your
suggestions
and
I'm.
D
B
A
B
Unfortunately,
when
you're
having
a
meeting
I
think
it
might
be
kind
of
funny
if
you
started
every
every
sentence
with
your
boss
or
your
team
with
fortunately
or
unfortunately,
it
may
not
work
well.
But
if
you
do
kind
of
go
through
your
mind
with
that,
it's
put
as
you
do
on
a
more
positive
or
a
forward
march
ill
do
one
more
term.
A
D
C
A
B
B
Unfortunately,
there
aren't
any
zombies,
it's
silly.
It's
fun,
I'm,
not
saying
with
your
team.
It
might
be
a
fun
icebreaker.
I
can
imagine
the
looks
on
my
peeps
paces
if
I
decided
to
do
this
in
the
center,
but
they're
already
used
to
my
craziness.
So
any
questions
or
thoughts
on
that.
How
about
if
we
do
one.
C
B
Everyone
I
can
make
you
stand
up
again.
It's
kind
of
it's
good
to
stretch,
I
didn't
pay
for
the
extra
cushion
on
the
chair,
so
fortunately,
unfortunately,
maybe
switch
to
the
behind
you
or
in
front
of
you
and
to
an
A
and
me
and,
as
you
can
see,
I
I
was
fortunately,
unfortunately,
and
if
you
will
be
a
and
B.
C
C
E
B
B
E
A
B
Mexican
from
Chicago,
okay,
so
we're
going
to
ask
some
questions
and
I.
Don't
know
why
you
you
don't
know
your
name
and
you
hit
I,
asked
them,
but
I'm
going
to
go
under
the
assumption
that
you'll
know
these
questions,
so
we're
going
to
do
a
day
in
sharp
Charles,
Charles
bass
drums
which
one
you
go.
My
lovely
Prince,
Charles's,
okay,
so
there's
always
a
comedian
in
an
crowd
that
wants
to
be
center
stage.
So
we
are
so
really
would
like
to
play
that.
C
D
D
B
D
B
D
C
E
C
B
D
B
D
D
D
B
Moment
is
play
a
day
in
the
life
of
Prince
Charles.
So
what
he's
going
to
have
to
do
is
he's
going
to
go
over
here
with
the
ballot
alarm,
we're
going
to
steal
the
mic
back,
give
it
to
the
night
partner
here
and
we
are
going
to
play
a
day
in
the
life
of
Prince
Charles.
So
whatever
that
means,
but
here's
the
fun
part
he
gets
to
guide
us.
D
B
It's
funny
and
the
fun
part
with
this
is
that
we
have
to
change
our
scene
in
order
to
follow
Prince
Charles
day
in
the
life,
and
so
just
a
one
or
two
other
questions.
But
do
you
have
you
said
you
didn't
have
pets
right
now?
Do
you
live
on
the
beach
or
near
the
beach
or
one
mile,
and
did
you
know
him
with
the
sand?
B
C
C
B
D
C
C
A
E
A
All
right,
so
what
we're
going
to
do
is
we're
gonna
sue
is
going
to
start
out
we're
going
to
get
a
suggestion
from
the
audience
and
we're
just
going
to
create
say
one
word.
So
one
word
could
be
thumb,
one
more
could
be
vuitton.
Well,
you
know,
and
people
just
go
along
and
we'll
tell
a
story
until
the
story.
Organic
paint
ends
okay.
So
if
we
get
a
suggestion
of
your
favorite
childhood
toy.
B
B
B
A
C
A
E
A
B
B
So
a
few
things
about
them.
A
lot
of
yes
and
listening
come
up.
Their
communication
really
use
that
as
our
clear
communication,
all
right,
Monica
back
on
deck
with
the
slips
please
so
at
the
registration
table
we
asked
error.
My
staff
asked
you
if
you
would
fill
out
some
slips
and
we
also
had
a
poster
for
with
some
free
rent
and
slips
on
him.
So
we
asked
for
slips.
B
Favorite
movie
title
favorite
movie,
lying
favorite
quote
something
your
boss
said
something
your
partner
said
to
you
and
we
basically
had
to
put
them
in
there
and
fold
them
up,
and
so
now
here
comes
the
fun
part
mickey,
and
I
will
be
using
these
in
a
scene
and
we
will
do.
We
will
yes
and
then
we
will
justify
them.
We
will
agree
with
them,
but
we
have
to
make
them
work
in
the
scene.
Alright.
So
I
am
excited
to
see
what
is
in
our
secret
jar.
A
B
B
C
B
B
Was
saying
that
this
game
is
Prophets
one
of
my
favorites,
because
every
one
of
your
slips
are
gifts
to
us.
Every
single
one
of
those
are
a
gift
to
Mickey
a
knife,
and
we
get
to
play
with
it
and
have
a
lot
of
fun.
We
love
this
game
and
what
we
usually
normally
do.
It
is
actually
leave
the
room
and
you
guys
were
right
down
to
slip.
So
you
know
who
wrote
those
here's
my
thought.
Some
of
those
have
their
name
on.
B
B
A
So
I
think
now
we
we
have
a
few
gifts.
We
want
to
leave
with
you
than
our
things
that
we've
learned
in
improv
and
hopefully
you've
taken
a
little
bit
out
of
this,
but
number
one.
The
number
one
gift
that
I've
learned
an
improv,
because
I
tend
to
be
a
little
serious,
as
always
have
fun
always
have
fun,
I
mean
think
of
the
fun
way
to
do
it.
If
we're
in
the
elevator
and
it's
taking
too
long,
I
just
press
all
the
buttons.
B
Thanks
for
coming
to
my
elevator
so
anyway,
I
learned
something
you
and
I
do
learn
something
new
every
day
and
we
like
to
be
alone,
so
that's
intersect
gifts.
You
truly
be
in
the
moment
whether
it's
with
your
partner
or
whether
it's
at
work,
whether
instead
your
Center,
which
is
hopefully
network
your
house
like
this,
it
could
be,
but
we
do
like
to
be
in
the
hole
and.
A
Something
that
they
constantly
say
an
improv
is
its
make.
Your
partner
look
good,
make
your
teammates
look
good.
It
doesn't
matter
who
gets
the
credit
if
it
gets
done
and
I
think
you
guys
probably
deal
with
this
alive
in
call
centers
and
in
contact
centers,
because
you
know
it's
not
about
who
wins.
There's
no
prize,
it's
about
just
getting
stuff
done
and
taking
care
of
things
and
I.
B
B
D
B
C
B
In
freeze
tag
is,
what's
called
a
staple
of
improv
and
basically
we're
going
to
have
a
backline.
You
know
what
will
it
will
do
it
so
freeze
tag.
If
you
can
guys
step
back
we're
going
to
have
two
people
out
here
doing
a
scene
and
anyone
from
the
back
at
any
time
can
yell
they
can
yell
freeze,
and
so
you
can,
but
and
when
I
yell
freeze
and
they
have
to
take
on
the
exact
same
position
as
you
got
a
person,
but
here's
the
fun.
