A
Hello,
I'm
Everson
city
manager,
Wally
Bob
goods
and
welcome
to
this
edition
of
Evanston
spotlight,
where
we
talk
about
upcoming
items
on
the
city
of
Evanston,
City,
Council
agenda
and
coming
up
at
our
next
meeting
on
Monday
March,
the
11th
we're
talking
about
streets,
we're
talking
about
potholes,
we're
talking
about
getting
ready
for
spring
and
summer
and
I'm
joined
today
by
Edgar
Cano,
our
public
services
bureau
manager
from
our
Public
Works,
Agency
Edgar.
How
are
you
today
doing.
A
B
So
right
now
we
are
filling
the
potholes
using
a
cold
patch
material,
just
to
get
us
to
mid
April
once
mid
April
gets
here
as
fall.
Plants
will
open
up.
When
that
happens,
we
will
go
back
into
permanent
repairs
on
the
potholes
that
entails
us
all,
cutting
around
the
potholes
cleaning
them
putting
down
an
emulsion
tech
coat
and
filling
it
with
hot
mix
asphalt
and
then
rolling
it.
So.
A
B
It's
a
bit
of
both.
Oh,
we
get
three
one
one
requests
throughout
the
year,
even
right
now,
there's
notifying
us
of
potholes
and
areas
of
distress
that
have
to
be
addressed
come
spring,
but
we
also
do
a
lot
of
surveying,
especially
during
the
winter,
to
get
locations
in
areas
that
we
feel
are
in
the
worst
conditions
in
order
for
us
to
address
those
first,
so.
A
B
With
all
the
unpaid
values
that
we
currently
have,
we
are
putting
together.
Actually,
we
already
put
together
a
schedule
for
alley
maintenance
that
entails
going
into
every
alley
at
least
three
times
this
year.
That
should
begin
April.
First
and
as
stated,
we
usually
spend
one
to
two
weeks
per
area
just
going
in
there,
grading
the
alleys,
rolling
them
making
sure
they're
compacted
again
get
rid
of
any
ruts
or
potholes
that
may
be
in
there.
So.
A
A
B
A
Coming
to
an
end
and
you
and
your
the
crews
in
our
public
organizations,
you
did
an
excellent
job.
So,
if
you're
interested
in
learning
more
about
some
of
the
work
that
Edgar
his
team
does
or
more
information
about
our
city
council
agenda
items
coming
up
on,
Monday
March,
the
11th,
you
can
