B
B
Traffic
safety
is
the
number
one
concern
of
every
community
in
America
at
evidence.
That
is
no
exception.
Concerns
range
from
our
children,
properly
fastened
other
safety
seats
and
arriving
to
school
safely
to
the
elderly,
be
able
to
comfortably
cross
the
street
or
walk
on
a
sidewalk
from
speeding,
autos,
impaired
drivers
and
traffic
crashes
to
call
traffic
calming
initiatives
in
1929
working
with
Northwestern
University.
B
The
innocent
police
department
established
the
nation's
first
accident
prevention
barrel,
due
to
the
fact
that
the
city
was
ranked
number
five
in
the
United
States
and
traffic
facilities,
and
it
was
doing
a
large
part,
ironically,
that
many
residents
were
were
wealthy
enough
to
afford
automobiles.
A
few
short
years
later
in
1932,
the
Traffic
Safety
Bureau
won
the
first
of
many
national
safety
council
travel
traffic
safety
awards
earning
the
distinctly
distinction
of
being
named
America's,
safest
city.
B
Since
the
inception
of
the
accident
prevention,
Bureau
of
the
episode
traffic
girl
has
been
a
leader
in
traffic
safety
issues.
Today,
these
officers
continue
to
excelled
in
traffic
safety,
just
to
name
a
few
recognitions
and
awards
they
received
by
the
following
organizations:
the
alliance
against
intoxicated
motorists,
mothers
against
drunk
drivers,
Illinois
Department
of
Transportation
saved
by
the
belt
child
safety
restraints,
drunk
Buster's,
etc.
There
again
competing
in
a
statewide
traffic

challenge
sponsored
by
the
Illinois
Chiefs
of
Police
and
the
Illinois
Department
of
Transportation
wherever
the
past
four
years.
B
They
won
third
place
second
place
and
second
place,
respectively.
Goodyear.
A
good
luck
in
this
year's
gentlemen.
Additionally,
as
a
leading
agency
in
traffic
safety,
the
bureau
lore
has
been
awarded
grants.
It's
free
money
for
you
and
I
to
participate
in
the
following
campaigns:
click,

ticket
buckle
up
America
you
drink,
you
drive
you
lose
and
motorcycle
safety
grins
through
their
efforts.
Our
city
experienced
a
thirteen
percent
reduction
in
traffic
traffic
crashes
since
2007
and
has
obtained
in
96.7
percent
compliance
rate
in
a
mandated
seatbelt
and
child
safety
restate
laws.
B
F
B
The
the
next
part
of
the
program
is
my
personal
favorite
and
that's
the
recognition
of
citizens
who
take
that
extra
step
and
go
that
extra
mile
in
the
service
of
their
community.
Our
community
and
police
department
have
a
long
tradition
of
working
together
tonight,
we're
honored
to
have
amongst
us
several
citizens
who
deserve
recognition
for
the
civil
involvement
with

Please

of
Sherman.
After
fleeing
the
scene,
the
same
youths
committed
an
attempted
robbery
at
eleven
eleven
Maple
Avenue.
You
witnessed
this
and
provided
police
with
a
description
of
the
youths
as
they
fled.
Your
description
of
the
fleeing
offenders
enabled
officers
to
make
an
apprehension
before
any
further
crimes
could
be
committed.
All
the
members
we
present
you
with
this
letter
of
appreciation.
B
On
jun,
8
2009,
you
were
a
passenger
of
a
vehicle
involved
in
a
traffic
accident.
A
driver
of
one
of
those
vehicles
within
was
in
cardiac
arrest.
You
perform
CPR
and
a
driver
until
the
innocent
paramedics
arrived
at
the
scene.
Your
quick
actions
save
this
man's
life
for
your
strong
civil
involvement.
We
present
you
with
this
honorable
mention.
B
On
November
16
2009
officers
responded
to
a
battery
in
progress.
Employees
reported
an
unwanted
patron,
better,
better.
The
manager,
if
the
subject
refused
to
pay,
to
stop
helping
himself
to
food
that
refused
to
pay
for
the
offender
tackled
the
first
arriving
officer
and
punched
him
in
the
face
to
avoid
arrest,
you
observe
the
officer
in
distress
and
came
to
the
aid
of
him.
Your
quick
actions
allow
the
officers
to
take
control
of
the
offender,
apply
handcuffs
and
make
the
arrest
for
your
quick
actions
and
assistance.
We
present
you
with
this
honorable
mention.

should
be

and
it's
near
and
dear
to
our
hearts.
At
the
police
department
on
november
seven
2009
detective
Joe
bush
was
involved
in
an
off-duty
motorcycle
accident
as
an
eyewitness
to
this
accident.
You
grew.
You
knew
the
severity
of
the
impact
and
of
detective
bushes
injuries.
B
It
was
with
kindness,
compassion
an
example
of
a
Good
Samaritan
that
you
came
to
the
aid
of
detective
bush
you're,
able
to
calmly
talk
to
him
to
learn
his
name,
his
profession
and
his
family
status.
All
of
this
was
crucial
to
relay
information
to
authorities
and
family
members.
Your
Quick,
Reaction,
compassion
and
heroism
will
always
be
always
ruining
the
hearts
of
the
innocent,

the

This
is
Joe
bush
for
being
so
strong
enough
to
fight
back
for
his
family.

Miss
marina
is
one
of
the
founding
members
of
the
noise
Ewing
neighborhood
watch
and
currently
serves
as
a
watch
coordinator.
This
marina
has
developed
a
network
of
over
100
neighbors
in
and
around
her
media
community
and
has
assisted
her
older
person
and
the
innocent
police
department
in
neighborhood
watch
development.
She
aggressively
monitors
crime
patterns
and
ever
sit
in
the
surrounding
communities
and
provides
consistent
community
notifications
and
alerts
to
her
neighbors
to

to
increase
security
and
safety
consciousness.
B
In
January
2009
you
develop
the
confidential
source
of
information
and
a
reference
to
a
subject,
selling
heroin
and
then
Chicago
analyst
and
border.
You
arrange
for
a
confidential
source
of
to
introduce
you
to
the
dealer
and
were
able
to
make
undercover
purchases
of
heroin.
You
applied
for
we're,
granted
a
court
order
for
consensual
over
here
to
record
conversations
between
you
and
a
heroin
dealer.
The
heroin
dealer
was
subsequently
arrested
and
charged
with
six
counts
of
delivery
of
controlled
substance.
During
this
investigation,
your
action
rose
significantly
above
the
expected
norms
of
your
duties.
B
On
March
9th
2009,
you
were
off
duty
and
observed
a
rollover
traffic
action
of
a
co-worker.
She
was
trapped
inside
of
her
vehicle.
The
vehicle
had
started
on
fire.
She
could
not
free
yourself
from
the
seatbelt
to
escape
the
car.
You
went
into
the
damaged
vehicle
freed
her
from
the
seat
belt
and
pulled
her
from
her
vehicle.
You
stabilized
her
until
the
arrival
of
fire
personnel.
There's
selfless
and
quick
action,
save
the
life
of
a
co-worker
we'd
like
to
present
you
with
this
medal
of
valor.
