The Evanston police help out to help give away to charity
A
When
you
see
the
salvation
army
around,
it
means
it's
Christmastime
right,
yes
and
we're
going
to
take
the
opportunity
at
this
time
to
kick
off
the
Salvation
Army
cattle
drive,
2009
and
you'll
be
seeing
bell
ringers
all
around
the
city,
raising
money
for
the
Salvation
Army,
so
that
we
can
continue
to
meet
the
spiritual
needs
in
this
community.
Not
only
11,
12
Chicago,
you
will
be
seeing
people
you'll
be
seeing
men
and
women
ring
in
the
bills
for
the
Salvation
Army's,
and
here
in
Evans
done.
A
We
don't
want
to
spend
a
little
time
here,
thanking
you
thanking
you
for
your
support
over
the
years
and
also
the
call
upon
you
again
this
year
for
your
support.
It
is
through
people
like
you
that
the
Salvation
Army
doors
have
been
open
throughout
the
year
meeting
the
needs
of
people,
people
that
are
coming
for
food
and
clothes,
and
an
cetera
so
many
things
of
salvation
army's
between
through
our
after-school
program,
take
apps
our
social
services
counseling.
A
Also
at
the
church.
Salvation
Army
is
not
only
a
social
organization,
but
it's
also
a
spiritual.
We
meet
the
spiritual
needs
of
men
by
preaching
the
gospel
of
Jesus
Christ,
the
men
and
women,
boys
and
girls.
So
this
evening
we
want
to
welcome
you
and
ask
you
that
you
stay
with
us
just
for
a
while,
so
that
we
can
share
with
you
some
of
the
wonderful
things
that
we
are
doing.
We
are
happy
this
evening
to
have
with
us
some
outstanding
people
at
this
community
and
later
on.
A
They
will
be
sharing
few
words
with
you
and
calling
upon
you
for
your
support.
Once
again,
we
have
with
us
first
of
all,
I
want
to
venture
that
we
have
members
from
the
Salvation
Army
advisor
council
here
in
Evanston
and
later
on,
our
chairperson,
the
chair
leading
of
the
chairman
of
the
council,
will
be
sharing
few
words
with
you.
We
also
have
with
us
the
evanston
police
chief,
Richard
Eddington,
with
a
lot
so
we'll
be
sharing
few
words
with
you.
We
want
to
welcome
them.
Also.
A
We
have
the
ornaments
from
the
Ninth
Ward
with
us
this
evening
at
12,
and
we
have
with
us
Reverend
Father
on
the
Shah,
who
will
be
asking
God's
blessing
upon
our
efforts
this
year
and
we
have
with
us
for
the
first
time
mere
Elizabeth.
This
piston
the
mayor
of
the
mayor
of
the
city
of
Evanston
with
us
today.
He
also
will
be
share
them
a
little
bit
to
chain
work
with
you
and
calling
upon
you
for
your
support.
B
B
C
D
Of
all
I'd
like
to
thank
the
band
for
being
here
and
the
little
ringers.
Thank
you
all.
Let's
hear
those
bells
come
on.
Let's
go
excellent.
Excellent
I
want
to
thank
the
Evanston
community
for
their
generosity
in
the
past
and
ask
you
for
additional
effort
this
year.
As
a
father
Oldershaw
pointed
out,
the
need
is
very
great
and
your
generosity
helps
to
address
those
needs.
It's
the
people
in
the
community
who
most
need
our
help.
So
thank
you.
God
bless
you
remember
your
gifts
and
hear
those
gifts
with
those
are
less
fortunate.
Thank
you.
