Council
members
that
I
couldn't
help
but
notice
that
you
do
have
a
payment
of
the
bills
to
one
of
the
people
who
does
all
the
happy
press
type
stuff
and
I'm
going
to
strongly
recommend
that
in
the
future,
you
recommend
that
all
those
individuals
who
put
things
out
for
the
city
and
on
behalf
of
the
city
actually
go
ahead
and
run
grammar
check
through
google.
It's
embarrassing
that
we
don't
know
about
the
subject
and
verb
agreement,
and
we
also
don't
know
how
to
use
the
subject
in
a
verb
to
complete
an
actual
sentence.
Very
distressing.
F
F
I
You
it
is
recommended
that
the
mayor
and
councilmembers
enter
into
an
exclusive
negotiating
agreement
with
the
Los
Angeles
Philharmonic
to
negotiate
the
sale
of
the
property
located
at

1:05
South
Libra

formerly
known
as

on
December

2016.
The
city
purchased

The
purpose
of
the
purchase
was
for
economic
development
of
the
Civic
Center.
I
The
city
recently
received
a
proposal
from
the
Los
Angeles
Philharmonic
Association,
to
purchase
the
former
Amen
in
building
and
relocate
their
Youth
Orchestra
program.
Yola
to
the
city
of
Inglewood,
the
Los
Angeles
Philharmonic
Association
was
founded
in
1919
by
millionaire
and
amateur
musician,
William

He
established
he
established
the
first
permanent
Symphony
Orchestra
in
1922,
the
Los
Angeles
Philharmonic
considered
the
Hollywood
Bowl
as
their
official
summer
home
debuted.
I
The
Hollywood
Bowl
is
one
of
the
largest
natural
Apple
theaters
in
the
world,
with
a
seating
capacity
of
nearly
18,000
that
holds
some
of
the
finest
artists
from
all
genres
of
music.
The
Los
Angeles
Philharmonic
has
developed
an
educational
program
for
youth
known
as
Yola.
The
LA
Philharmonic,
along
with
their
community
partners,
provide
free
instruments
anticipatory
nee
and
leadership
training
to
underserved
communities.
I
Some
of
the
participating
communities
include
the
rampart
district
serving
over
250
students
from
ages
6
through
16
South
Los
Angeles
serves
over
325
students,
ages
6
through
18
and
downtown
Los.
Angeles
serves
a
approximately
140
students
from
age
a
through
12.
Since
the
beginning,
the
Los
Angeles
Philharmonic
has
consistently
been
known
as
home
of
Southern
California's
leadings
artists.

all
those
that
support
the

that
the

was
charged
for
as
a

and
in
the
world
in
2000
about
2010
and
Obama.
They
have
been
trashing
our
military
records
as
I
speak
today.
Also
they
are
talking
about
immigrants,
deporting
immigrants
and
your
legal.
You
have
the
second
largest
group
ever
bought
in
this
country.
At
one
time.
The
first
one
was
just
before:
Hitler
died
from

by
the
army.
Obama
I
mean
is
going
to
import
30,000
criminals
from
Australia.

B
B
If
anybody
wants
to
tell
me
this
bad,
this
is
bad.
Just
buy
me
a
cup
of
coffee
and
I'll
sit
down
and
listen
to
you,
but
how
can
this
be
bad?
This
is
taking
my
breath
away,
gentlemen,
who
purchased
his
said,
he's
gonna
refurbish
it
my
opinion.
Don't
you
believe
it
and
he's
knocking
it
down.
He
go
build
something
twice
as
big
and
ten
times
grander.
Why
not
us?
Thank
you.
L
Hi,
my
name
is
jim
varnon.
We
take
a
district
since
today
is
October.
31St
I
just
want
to
remind
everybody.
The
trick-or-treaters
are
gonna,
be
out
there
tonight.
Please
slow
down,
watch
your
own
sections
and
watch
out
for
them
Darden
in
front
of
you,
let's
watch
for
that,
let's
watch
out
for
our
children!
Thank
you,
sir.
M
And
I
live
in
160
Street
I
was
laughed
last
weekend
with
notice
from
the
party
me
authority,
saying
that
my
street
is
being
double
Park
on
both
sides
of
the
street.
This
notice,
instead
of
being
an
invitation
from
the
residents
of
105
and
106.
It's
just
telling
us
you
have
to
do
this.
Why
we're
wearing
invited
to
a
discussion
at
this
point
to
discuss
the
parking
problem
on
105th
and
160?
F
F
Let's
see
it
actually,
actually,
if
you
just
see
mr.
Atwell
he'll,
take
you
down
to
the
clerk's
office,
so
you
can
get.
G
G
One
minute
you
will
use
quite
a
bit
of
time
afterwards
to
bash
everything.
I
say
anyway,
however,
while
I'm
in
my
whim,
one
minute,
I'd
appreciate
it.
If
you
let
me
speak
that
one
minute
we
have
a
traffic
and
parking
Commission
that
is
supposed
to
be
able
to
hear
residents
concerned.
You
did
not
tell
her
that,
of
course,
there
is
a
fee
attached
to
a
permit.
Did
you?
But
then
again
you
want
happy
cherries
all
the
time
rather
than
realities.
Thank.
F
N
First,
I'll
just
give
a
little
brief
overview
of
the
treasurer's
report
and-
and
it's
there's
some
out
on
the
counter
there-
that
you
can
pick
up
and
review
in
your
leisure.
The
total
cash
in
investment
is
70,
71
million
four
hundred
forty
seven
thousand
five
hundred
sixty-two
dollars
and
the
gross
investment
interest.
Earnings
is
58
thousand
eight
hundred
eleven
dollars
and
the
debt
service
earnings
is
sixteen
hundred
and
seventy
six
dollars
successor
agency,
sixty
eight
million
five
hundred
four
thousand
six
hundred
ninety
five
dollars
and
the
gross
investment
that
service
interest.
N
Total
portfolio
is
one
hundred
and
fifty
three
million
six
hundred
and
twenty
four
thousand
two
hundred
and
thirty
six
dollars
and
again
there's
copies
available
on
the
table
outside
and
I'd
like
to
mention
also
regarding
the
city,
treasurer
student
intern
program,
we'll
be
starting
on
November,
the
2nd
that's
this
Thursday,
it's
a
weekly
program
so
we'll
be.
We
will
be
meeting
weekly
every
Thursday
for
4
weeks.
It
will
end
on
November
the
30th
and
again.
Some
of
the
things
that
we
will
be
discussing
is
how
your
local
officials
represents
their
community
learned.
N
How
to
city
departments
operate,
will
have
tors
responsibility,
city
treasurer's
office,
how
many
grows,
how
to
become
financially
independent
and
also
very
important
financial
concepts
and
again
the
the
hot
lunch
will
be
served
promptly
from
3:30
until
4:00,
every
single
week
and
I've
gone
out
to
Morningside,
high
and
and
also
Wilder
school,
and
my
associates
have
also
going
to
some
of
the
other
schools.
So
space
is
limited
so
again
sign
up
as
soon
as
you
can,
and
just
to
kind
of
piggyback
again
we're
going
to
come
that
mr.
N
Davis
made,
which
I
was
gonna,
bring
up
also
now
this
family,
actually
one
of
the
consultants
mentioned
that
this
family
actually
bought
this
hotel
for
only
$400,000
and
sold
this
same
very
hotel
in
the
city
of
Inglewood
for
18
million
dollars,
four
hundred
thousand
paid
off
very
well.
That
concludes
my
comments.
You.
C
C
Please
mark
it
on
your
calendar,
for
our
men
and
women
in
blue
Christmas
toy
drive
will
be
on
December
7th
at
st.
Mary's
Academy.
The
program
will
be
from
6:00
p.m.
to
9:00
p.m.
and
the
two
schools
that
will
be
represented.
There
will
be
Kelso
school
and
Warren
Lane.
So
if
you
have
a
donation,
I'd
appreciate
if
you
drop
off
at
a
cop
Center,
that's
on
the
corner
of
7th
Avenue
in
Manchester.
Thank
you
very
much
and
everybody
have
a
safe
and
happy
Halloween
and
go
Dargis.
Thank
you.
A
So
we
are
I'm
glad
to
see
that
we're
moving
forward
with
our
project
in
district
2
of
redoing
our
streets
on
La
Brea
and
on
Centinela
and
I,
can
tell
you
the
residents
and
the
business
owners
are
really.
You
know
glad
to
see
that
those
streets
are
being
done.
But
again
that
doesn't
just
happen.
It
happens
because
we
have
strong
leadership
and
we
have
great
staff
that
help
us
get
these
things
accomplished,
and
so
you
know,
I
can't
tell
you
how
excited
I
am
to
move
forward
with
this
project
with
both
of
these
projects.
A
Also,
last
week,
I
had
a
chance
to
go
to
the
Englewood
Imaging
Center,
which
is
located
at
Prairie
and
Regent.
The
owner
is
Brad
Schmitt
and
you
did
a
cancer
awareness
event
and
it
was
really
nice
to
see
so
many
folks
out
there
bringing
awareness
to
cancer
helping
eradicate
that
disease.
So
thank
you
to
Brad
Schmitt
from
Englewood
Imaging
Center,
for
putting
that
together
last
night,
I
had
an
opportunity
to
go
to
LA
Tijera
charter
middle
school
for
the
Family
Literacy
night.
It
was
great.
It
was
from
5:00
to
7:00
p.m.
A
and
was
really
nice
to
see
so
many
young
kids
with
their
parents
and
siblings
that
were
there
to
read
and
talk
to
them
about
the
importance
of
literacy.
So
I
had
a
great
event
and
a
good
evening
and
I
want
to
thank
principal
elisa
rose
from
la
Tijera
charter
school
and
her
staff
for
putting
together
such
a
wonderful
event
with
that
have
a
great
Halloween
and,
as
we
say,.
J
Let
me
just
get
something
clarified
that
people
give
out
the
wrong
information
and
we
need
to
get
it
straight.
This
is
not
a
permit
parking
area
that
was
in
question
in
the
lockhaven
community.
This
is
a
pilot
program
and
this
the
first
two
streets
are
115
106
a
pilot
program.
This
is
the
second
pilot
program
that
we've
had
in
the
last
several
years,
because
there
is
a
oversaturation
of
parking
and
we're
having
a
challenge
going
to
having
sufficient
parking
in
the
lochhaven
community
without
residents
removing
their
front
lawns.
J
E
3Rq,
so
we
have
a
parking
issue
in
the
city
of
Inglewood
based
on
ourselves.
You
know
a
lot
of
our
community
has
just
kind
of
we
stick
around
a
lot
of
our
successful
businessmen
aren't
too
to
be
real,
clear,
they're,
not
that
Greater
neighbors,
because
they
bring
in
all
their
work
trucks
and
take
up
a
lot
of
parking,
and
then
you
know
that
hurts
also
in
our
community.
We
just
happen
to
not
our
children
stay
way
too
long.
You
know
and
and
I
I
was
one
of
them
and
everybody
has
a
car.
E
Everybody
has
a
car
and
it
makes
it
very
difficult.
So
what
we're
doing
because
the
stadium
is
coming
and
because
we
anticipate
so
many
issues,
you
know
that
are
gonna
be
even
deeper
in
terms
of
parking.
We're
gonna,
try
things,
we're
gonna,
try
things
right
now
and
and
I'm
sorry.
We
can
speak
to
you
afterwards
right
now,
we're
gonna
close
and
we're
welcome
to
speak
to
you,
but
we're
trying
new
things,
because
we
want
to
get
it
better
for
the
residents.
E
That's
what
we
want
to
do
just
to
make
clear
to
the
pilot
program
if
it
doesn't
work,
it
goes
away.
It
goes
away,
but
that's
in
his
area.
I
know
that
that
I
have
some
things
that
we're
trying
out,
but
we
have
to
do
something
we
have
to
try
and
make
it
better
for
the
residents.
That's
it,
and
so,
if
it
doesn't
work
we'll
try
something
else.
E
But
the
truth
is
that
those
impacts
are
coming
and
you
want
us
to
try
something
you
want
us
to
and
and
if
it
stays
the
same,
it's
never
gonna
improve.
It's
just
gonna
get
worse,
so
that
that's
what
I'll
say
in
terms
of
parking
and
impacts,
it
doesn't
mean
you
don't
have
a
voice.
I,
think
it's
great
you're
here
and
whatever
you'd
like
to
say
I
think
is
good,
because
that's
what
we're
looking
for
when
we
do
these
things
and
we'll
figure
it
out
together.
E
That
being
said,
I
think
it's
great,
that
these
things
are
happening
in
the
city
of
Englewood.
To
the
point
where
we
have
these
type
of
issues,
you
know
you're
not
gonna
turn
down
great
development
because
of
it.
But
it's
things
that
you
have
to
adjust
to.
Okay,
we
heard
about
the
great
real
estate
deal
that
just
happened
this
last
week
in
terms
of
one
of
our
properties.
We
anticipate
this
happening
over
and
over
in
the
next
three
four
or
five
years.
So
so
that's
what
we
expect.
E
E
F
F
F
If
you're
modeling,
most
your
house,
you
have
to
live
in
the
back
bedroom
and
it's
inconvenient,
you
know
for
for
over
a
decade,
you
know
we
we
haven't
had
the
money.
I
would
imagine
to
renew
the
infrastructure
and
so
to
hear
that
out
of
95
people,
one
person
actually
complained
about
crime.
One
person
complained
about
loiterers
and
what
they
meant
were
the
homeless,
an
area
of
Manchester
and
Crenshaw.
F
It
shows
that
perceptually
and
objectively
we've
come
a
long
ways
in
crime
passed
out
a
booklet
state
of
the
city
for
2017,
and
you
know
I'm
just
gonna
cap.
Some
of
the
highlights
ourselves.
Tax
revenue,
growth
in
England,
outpaces,
Los,
Angeles,
County,
our
restaurants
and
hotels,
are
showing
the
healthiest
game.
Crime
and
English
decreased
70%.
F
Over
the
last
35
years,
2016
was
the
lowest
year
on
record
for
reporter
part
one
crime
in
the
city,
our
prices
to
rent
available
commercial
property
remained
relatively
low
in
Ingrid
and
Hawthorne,
compared
to
Culver
City
Ingrid,
actually,
on
an
average
of
hawthorn
Culver
City,
the
entire
South
Bay
in
Los
Angeles,
we
still
have
the
lowest
rents.
The
price
of
homes
in
Inglewood
have
doubled
since
2012
outpacing
propre.
She
a
ssin
in
Hawthorne
and
Culver
City.
Unemployment
in
the
city
of
Inglewood,
has
fallen
from
seventeen
point
five
percent
to
two
thousand
two
thousand
ten.
F
F
F
That's
Gretz
great
that
we're
getting
to
the
point
we're
attempting
to
give
service
right
now.
Real
time
gets
you
criticized.
I
I
just
want
to
compliment
the
City
Council
because
and
the
city
and
the
city
employees,
our
graffiti
team
has
been
amazing.
They've
been
painting
our
graffiti
and
24
hours
of
or
less
I
called
in
something
they
did
it
over
the
weekend.
I
just
I'm
so
proud
of
our
city.
Employees
I
just
can't
tell
you
what
to
do
proud
of
our
Police
Department
for
what
they've
done
improved
Public
Safety.
