A
And
we
are
ready
to
kick
things
off
everybody
on
this
beautiful
day,
so
awesome
to
see
so
many
of
the
people
who
have
made
this
great
stadium
project
for
the
Rams
and
chargers
possible
here,
because
this
is
all
about
you.
My
name
is
Steve
white
and
I
am
with
the
NFL
Network,
based
here
in
Los,
Angeles
and
soon
to
be
part
of
this
campus
here
in
Inglewood
and
I'm
truly
honored
to
be
part
of
this
topping
out
ceremony.
This
is
my
maiden
voyage
out
to
the
stadium
projects.
A
A
It's
really
proud
to
see
what
you
guys
have
accomplished
here
at
Hollywood,
Park
and
Inglewood.
It's
hard
to
imagine
that
the
groundbreaking
was
just
a
year
and
a
half
ago,
and
almost
exactly
two
years
from
today,
we'll
be
celebrating
the
opening
of
the
stadium
for
the
Los
Angeles
Rams
and
the
Los
Angeles
chargers.
That
is
spectacular.
A
This
is
part
of
a
team
and
you
guys
are
what's
making
this
happen
and
we're
here
to
celebrate
you
because
you're,
the
ones
putting
in
the
time
and
the
sweat
and
the
muscle
behind
something
that's
going
to
be
a
huge
destination
point
now.
As
you
know,
the
topping
out
is
a
long-standing
tradition
in
construction
in
the
construction
industry
and
shortly
the
last
steel
beam.
A
So
first
off
I
want
you
to
meet
Jason,
Gannon
and
Jason
is
the
managing
director
of
the
LA
stadium
and
entertainment
district
overseeing
this
project
on
behalf
of
owner
Stan
Kroenke.
He
regularly
makes
some
huge
decisions
that
keep
this
project
moving
now
Jason
prefers
to
say
behind
the
scenes,
but
he's
agreed
to
say
a
few
words
today.
Jason.
B
Thank
you,
Steve
on
behalf
of
mr.
Kroenke
and
the
Kroenke
organization.
I
want
to
convey
our
sincere
appreciation
for
your
amazing
work
on
this
transformative
project
at
Hollywood
Park
just
a
few
short
years
ago.
This
was
a
vision
of
mr.
Kroenke,
an
idea
on
paper
that
has
been
brought
to
life
by
the
tireless
work
of
those
that
are
here
today.
We
are
grateful
to
all
of
you
for
your
long
hours,
commitment
to
quality,
high
safety
standards
and
tireless
work
to
meet
rigorous
construction
deadlines.
B
There
are
a
lot
of
components
to
this
project
that
we
get
asked
about
on
a
daily
basis.
One
comment
frequently
mentioned
is
that
we
have
brought
here
on
this
project
the
very
best
project,
delivery,
team
and
Turner
aecom
Hunt
and
their
sub
time
their
subcontractors,
and
we
couldn't
agree
more
with
that
observation.
So
please
accept
our
collective
gratitude
to
all
of
you
here
today.
B
Together,
we
are
working
to
bring
Los
Angeles
and
its
NFL
teams,
the
Chargers
in
the
Rams,
a
new
home
field
that
will
host
great
football
games,
a
Super
Bowl
in
2022,
the
college
football
championship
game
in
2023
and
the
first
ever
privately
financed
facility
to
host
the
opening
and
closing
ceremonies
in
the
2028
Olympics.
And
we
prepped.
B
B
Our
partnership
with
each
team
and
their
respects
respective
successes
on
and
off
the
field
is
essential
for
our
success
at
Hollywood
Park.
Finally,
we
would
not
be
here
to
celebrate
this
milestone
without
extraordinary
leadership
from
the
city
of
Inglewood
with
us
today,
as
Mayor
James
butts
and
the
City
Council.
Please
welcome
mr.
mayor
to
the
to
the
podium.
C
C
This
will
not
just
be
a
great
sports
venue,
an
entertainment
district.
This
will
be
the
most
fantastic
district
in
the
western
United
States,
an
Inc.
What
residents
need
to
know
that
it's
being
built
with
private
dollars?
That's
the
exception
and
not
the
rule
for
most
stadiums
around
the
country.
Mr.
C
Stan
Kroenke
and
his
team,
by
the
way,
have
made
some
extraordinary
commitments
to
the
city
edge
to
hire
qualified
inward
residents
first
and
they
have,
but
they
have
also
established
a
protocol
to
hire
interns
and
trainees
who
want
to
learn
the
business
and
work
on
the
stadium.
So
this
is
not
just
about
building
a
stadium.
It's
about
building
new
lives
and
exciting
opportunities
for
families
and
people
who
haven't
worked
before
this
project.
Also,
businesses
around
the
stadium
or--but
are
benefitting
how
about
this
food
prepared
today
by
Ingrid's,
finest
dueling
soul,
food
kitchen.
C
Hundreds
of
English
citizens
have
already
been
benefitting
from
this
construction
and
by
the
way,
this
is
one
of
the
largest
construction
projects
in
the
United
States
of
America.
On
behalf
of
the
city
of
Englewood,
the
councilman
and
myself,
please
accept
our
profound
gratitude
for
your
hard
work
and
commitment
to
this
project,
we're
extremely
proud
to
put
our
names
alongside
yours.
On
that
beautiful
beam
and
once
again,
Stan
Frankie.
You
have
made
a
difference
in
the
lives
of
people
in
this
community
and
we
will
never
forget
it.
Congratulations
everybody.
Thank
you.
D
A
You
very
much
mayor
butts
in
the
City
Council
members
who
have
made
this
happen
because
you,
the
City,
Council
a
whole
lot
of
people.
City
Hall,
have
done
a
spectacular
job
in
this
process
to
help
transform
this
extort
site
at
Hollywood
Park
into
a
new
national
and
international
destination.
Thank
you
again
now.
Let
me
introduce
you
to
somebody.
You
probably
know
Robert
Aylesworth
from
tor
Turner,
a
common
hunt
he's
the
principal
in
charge
of
this
construction
project.
Bob
come
on.
D
Good
afternoon
never
did
a
topping
out
for
2500,
but
this
looks
good
to
me,
I'd
like
to
start
by
having
a
special
thanks
to
Stan
Kroenke
without
Stan's
vision.
None
of
us
would
be
here,
but
but
luckily,
we've
all
had
the
opportunity
topping
out
ceremonies
our
celebratory
events,
bringing
project
teams
together
to
mark
the
progress
made
on
site
and
give
opportunity
to
thank
the
people
involved.
This
is
a
special
thanks
from
Turner
AECOM
hunt
to
all
of
the
crafts
people
that
make
this
possible
in
a
nod
to
the
past.
D
Together,
we
have
locked
in
over
4
million
man-hours
of
work,
we're
halfway
home,
just
think
of
what
we've
accomplished
together.
Last
March
we
bottomed
out
and
we
got
to
the
bottom
of
the
hole,
and
here
we
sit
two
years
out
having
topped
out
the
stadium
steal,
my
hat's
off
to
all
the
subcontractors
and
especially
all
the
employees.
Let
me
take
a
minute
and
introduce
my
partner,
Rick
Bock.
E
Thank
You
bud
good
afternoon
everybody
what
an
amazing
day
in
Southern
California,
very,
very
proud
to
be
here
again.
I
want
to
give
a
special
thanks,
of
course,
the
ownership
providing
this
opportunity,
employment,
careers
and
learning
for
everybody.
That's
here
today,
I'd
also
like
to
put
a
special
thanks
out
to
the
Turner
hunt,
JV
team,
who
was
making
this
happen
for
everybody,
but
these
folks
are
said
at
all,
and
all
the
men
and
women
here
have
helped
to
bring
us
to
this
very
momentous
event.
E
You
can
creating
momentum
and
success
for
each
other,
as
well
as
for
the
city
of
Inglewood,
Los
Angeles,
the
Rams,
the
Chargers
and
most
important
their
fans.
You
may
not
realize,
but
Los
Angeles
hasn't
built
a
new
American
football
stadium,
since
anybody
want
to
guess
1921,
almost
a
hundred
years
is
when
the
Rose
Bowl
opened.
So
this
even
makes
it
even
more
special
and
the
industry
has
changed
in
hundred
years
when
new
home
for
the
Rams
and
the
Chargers
opens
in
2020.
E
It
will
not
just
be
a
local
destination,
it'll
be
an
international
destination,
as
you've
heard.
So
at
that
time,
all
of
you
will
be
able
to
point
to
that
beam
over
there
and
show
your
your
children
and
your
grandchildren
my
signatures
on
that
steel
beam,
and
you
know
you
can
live
with
that
for
the
rest
of
your
lives.
It
will
carry
on
for
generations
and
generations.
So
we're
very,
very
proud
of
that.
We
have
a
long
way
to
go.
E
We're
on
the
home
stretch,
we're
very
very
close
to
the
home
stretch,
most
important
to
think
that
when
you
leave
here
today
is
work
at
a
team
respect
each
other
and
most
important
keep
safety
first
and
foremost,
you've
done
a
great
job
with
that
always
be
aware
of
how
you're
working
so
I
want
to
close
just
by
saying
a
special
thanks
to
the
Southern
California
Union
labor,
without
their
skills,
their
dedication
and
their
their
safety
mindset
that
could
not
have
make
this
possible.
Thank
you
very,
very
much.
A
All
right
short
but
sweet,
that's
the
end
of
the
formal
part
of
this
program,
but
before
we
close
down
things,
just
a
couple
of
announcements,
the
media
and
the
VIPs,
the
buses
will
be
loading
at
noon.
To
take
you
to
the
viewing
site,
I
was
told
they're
gonna
be
located
to
my
right
over
in
this
area.
Sorry
little
breeze
and
for
everyone
here.
Once
we
kind
of
get
things
in
place.
A
You're
gonna
hear
a
horn
approximately
two
minutes
before
the
beam
is
lifted,
then
everyone
will
be
able
to
see
the
beam
hoisted
from
the
bowl
and
placed
into
position,
and
this
part
is
cool
by
Victor
Tabora
and
Paul.
Graham,
Victor
and
Paul
have
been
working
together
since
starting
an
apprenticeship
program
for
16
years.
They
started
that
together
they
carpool
to
work
together,
and
they
were
the
gentlemen
who
placed
the
first
beam
in
place
at
this
project.
So
now
they
get
to
take
the
beam
up
to
the
topping
out.
Let's
give
them
a
round
of
applause.
A
Per
tradition,
you
also
will
see
an
American
flag
and
an
evergreen
tree
atop
the
beam.
Those
are
symbols
of
good
luck
and
safety
again
I'm
Steve
Weiss
and
thanks
for
letting
me
be
a
part
of
this
great
event
and
again,
this
is
for
you,
the
people
who
have
made
this
happen.
Folks,
we
are
two
years
away
from
saying:
games
kick
off
in
this
beautiful
project
round
of
applause
for
everybody
here
and
thank
you
again.
