My name is Brian Walker I'm, the emergency services manager for the city of Englewood. We're excited today to bring search back to the city of Englewood. This is about engaging our community and building more resilient communities in the city of Englewood.

The importance assert or the community emergency response team is to train individually about disaster preparedness for themselves, their family and also to assist in Twitter and Friends.

Community members have been participating in training for the past few weekends so that they can be better prepared to handle an emergency when it occurs. Not if, but when.

The reason I joined cert is because I find that it has extreme value in everyday in life, whether you're, helping a family member or a complete stranger being a part of search just adds value to the community and adds value to yourself. What.

A day, I really hope that everybody walks away with a sense of being empowered with disaster preparedness, emergency preparedness for a city our city is on the move, is growing. There's a lot of development and I. Think today represents a community that is coming together to recognize that when we sit on a major faultline, we have to be prepared when disaster strikes and we'll continue to support each other and be engaged in the emergency preparedness, not just in their own homes but across their neighborhoods.
