District 2 Councilman Alex Padilla welcomed residents and community partners as they received vaccinations, microchip, and renewal licenses for their pets.

Today, we're at our community center we're providing a service for our community, a vaccination and dog shipping for all our dogs and cats, but we're working together with the LA County Animal Control. We've got so many volunteers here, because this is very important for our community.

Not only does it bring the community together, but it also be responsible pet owners and be able to provide them with the right to do so that they need, and also microchip, when we have.

Events like this are important for City wood because it brings the community together, even though it could be something as frivolous as a dog clinic I mean you get to meet people with dogs, they.

Always sulfur is so nice services, so I'm here to have these puppies have.

This shows that this community is growing and changing and just becoming a better better.

Oh, it's very important for people to get their pets vaccinated, see a veterinarian, make sure everything's, okay with their animal. We don't need any more puppies to come into the shelter. It's a really hard thing to see so we're trying to make sure everybody knows to spay and neuter your pets, and please please, please get your animals vaccinated.

We're looking forward to doing this in the next several years again because it's needed- and this is one of those services that we haven't provided for such a long time- there's nothing like the present to do it.
