From YouTube: District 2 Councilman Alex Padilla and IUSD Provide 1K Backpack to Students

Over 1000 backpacks were assembled and gifted to Inglewood students this past weekend. Special thanks to all of our community partners and Councilman Alex Padilla for putting this incredible event together.

Everybody I'm councilman Alex Padilla, we're here in the beautiful city of Inglewood at Sentinel, Elementary School, we're giving out backpacks to all our children so that we can get them prepared for the new school year.

I think the most exciting thing is seeing the smiles on the children's.

Faces as you hand, them a backpack and let them know they're going to be prepared with the tools and materials they need to learn this year. Awesome Community event.
