We

We
also

proceed
with
those
special
assessments.
Item
number
25
is
the
eighth
streets
out
the
street
reconstruction
and
street
lighting
project
and
number
26
is
the
2015
downtown
Minneapolis
TMO
grant
agreements?
Are
there
any
questions
on
any
of
those
items
on
our
consent?
Agenda
I
can
move
that
agenda
of
that
consent
agenda
just
to
get
it
out
on
a
discussion.
I
know
I
have
councilmember
yang
has
a
comment.
I.
D
Thank
You
mr.
chair
I
have
have
a
quick
question
with
regards
to
item
number
19.
You
know
and
trying
to
understand
why
this.
D
C
A
B
C
B
C
A
So
this
is
is
not
related
to
the
budget
action
we
took
for
high-rise
related
to
the
communications,
the
newsletters
and
things
like
that,
we're
doing
with
them
right.
This
is
an
outside
contract
funded
by
ship
correct,
and
what
would
they
be
providing?
Do
you
know
what
services
that
were
there
asking.
C
D
Mr.
chair
I
mean
the
reason
why
I
ask
is
that
as
I
recall,
the
fifty
thousand
dollars
that
we
allocated
to
Minister
the
high-rise
representative
council
was
much
more
security
measure
than
anything,
and
so
it
you
know
in
to
seem
unusual
to
me,
but
I'm
going
to
do
some
background
research
on
it
and
trying
to
figure
out
what
the
situation
is.
Okay,
thank.
C
A
So
it's
outside
of
the
security
measures
that
were
taken
through
our
regular
process.
This
is
separate
from
that,
but
we'll
we'll
look
into
that
and
have
those
answers
addressed
offline,
but
I
think
we'll
be
able
to
move
this
item
forward
for
today's
actions
that
correct.
Thank
you
as
a
general.
Thank
you
very
much.
Mr.
Smith,
hello,
you're
joining
us
and
we'll
get
some
more
detail.
Tell
address
mr.
A
councilmember
Yang's
issue
any
other
questions
or
comments
on
those
consent
items
all
those
in
favor
of
those
items
please
signify
by
saying
aye
aye
and
opposed
those
items
carried
forward.
Now
we
have
two
public
hearings
today
and
I'm
going
to
ask
miss
Ferguson.
Are
you
going
to
be
able
to
take
us
through
this
to
Civil
Service
Commission
appointments?
Reappointments?
Yes,.
E
E
Okay,
Castle
share
Quincy
members
of
the
Ways
and
Means
Committee.
We
have
two
appointments.
One
is
for
both
before
the
Civil
Service
Commission.
How
one
is
Christine
C
word
who
is
currently
serving
in
this
capacity?
She
has
16
years
serving
on
the
Civil
Service
Commission.
She
does
understand
the
civil
service
process
she
is
experienced
with
her
in
termination
in
the
public
sector.
She
also
has
a
strong
understanding
of
the
daily
practices
act
and
then
she
has
experience
working
in
the
Union
environment.
E
The
other
person
is
Macy
Willer
and
she
has
she
is
currently
serving
on
the
Civil
Service
Commission.
She
has
a
background
in
the
employment
sector
of
state
government.
She
also
has
been
a
personal
officer
in
human
resources
management
and
has
a
strong
background
and
CEO
an
affirmative
action.
She
also
is
a
number
of
several
has
served
on
the
boards
of
several
organizations,
including
North,
great
community
trust
and
people
serving
people.
She
is
already.
D
B
E
A
A
C
A
Thank
you
close
the
public
hearing
on
that
for
both
of
these
reappointments
I'd
like
to
move
of
approval
of
those
reappointments
and
thank
those
individuals
for
their
great
service
and
experience
to
the
city
for
this
important
role
that
you
serve.
So
thank
you
for
being
here
today
and
thank
you
for
your
work
that
you're
doing
any
questions
on
that.
Remember.
Gang
Thank.
D
You,
mr.
chair,
you
know
with
regards
to
these
two
appointments.
You
know
where,
when
they
invited
that
show
up-
and
did
they
just
decide
not
to
be
here
today,
yeah.
A
It's
typically
I,
don't
think
that
they
would
those
offers
are
always
extended.
These
are
excuse
me,
relatively
perfunctory
kind
of
actions
that
we
take
in
these
reappointments,
but
when
one
of
those
commissioners
finds
the
time
to
come
at
like
to
highlight
that,
as
opposed
to
blame,
the
other
person
for
not
attend
sure.
