Minneapolis Health, Environment & Community Engagement Committee Meeting

Good
afternoon
I'm
calling
to
order
this
meeting
of
the
health
environment
and
community
engagement
committee,
kam
Gordon,
chair
of
the
committee
and
joined
today
by
the
vice-chair
Andrew
Johnson
and
councilmember
Jacob
fry
Elizabeth,
good
and
then
Lisa
bender,
we're
quorum
of
the
committee,
and
we
can
conduct
our
business.
We
only
have
two
items
today:
they're
both
on
consent,
so
I'm,
anticipating
a
short
meeting,
I'll
go
over
the
consent
items,
and
if
anybody
wants
to
discuss
that,
we
can
pull
it
off
for
discussion.

The
first
is
accepting
a
federal
grant
through
the
Minnesota
Department
of
Health
in
the
amount
of
three
hundred
and
seventeen
thousand
three
hundred
dollars
to
help
us
serve
pregnant
and
parenting.
At-Risk
teens,
and
the
second
item
is
approving
two:
more
appointments
to
the
Southside
Green
Zone
task
force
for
terms
beginning
September,
2017
and
ending
August
2018.
