Description
Commissioner's Corner 12-16-22
A
This
is
a
long-term
priority
for
our
department,
especially
as
trauma
not
only
impacts
external
stakeholders
and
partners,
but
also
impacts
our
own
staff
and
how
we
show
up
for
and
relate
to,
each
other
and
our
communities
working
to
prevent
trauma.
Is
Not
A,
New
Concept
for
the
health
department
think
covet
share
power
advisory
committee,
that
was
a
violence,
prevention,
racial
Equity
impact,
analyzes,
school-based
clinics,
Healthy,
Start,
trainings
and,
of
course,
our
connection
to
chip.
A
We
offer
a
virtual
trauma,
101
learning
opportunity
for
staff
as
a
foundational
opportunity
to
get
information
and
help
people
ground
themselves
in
the
work
that
we're
doing
together.
These
are
available
on
our
SharePoint
site.
My
Hope
Is,
that
after
watching
this
week's
commissioner's
Corner,
which
provides
the
back
story
for
why
becoming
trauma-informed
organization
is
so
important
to
our
department.
