Camino
del
corazon
has
been
installed
outside
the
city
council
chamber
on
the
third
floor
of
City
Hall.
It
translates
to
the
journey
of
the
heart.
The
mural
depicts
the
experiences
of
immigrants
and
refugees
in
Minneapolis
who
shared
their
stories
with
organizers
of
the
mural
projects.
The
city's
recast
program
collaborated
with
good
space.
Murals

the
project.
Recast
stands
for
resilience
and
communities
after
stress
and
trauma.
The
city
has
filed
a
lawsuit
against
seventeen,
pharmaceutical
manufacturers
and
distributors
of
opioids
over
monetary
damages
incurred
by
the
city.

responding
to
the
opioid
crisis,
the
city
joins
a
number
of
states,
counties
and
cities
across
the
country
that
have
filed
similar
lawsuits.
The
City
Council
has
passed
a
resolution
recognizing
the
50th
anniversary
of
the
1968
Federal
Fair
Housing
Act.
The
Act
protects
people
from
discrimination
when
they
are
renting
buying
or
securing
financing
for
any
housing.
Along
with
several
community
partners,
the
city
is
sponsoring
a
series
of
events
through
fall,
called
racism,
rent
and
real
estate,
fair
housing
reframed.
