Description
City of Monroe, GA City Council Meeting May 2, 2017
A
B
Thank
You
mr.
mayor,
let's
may
report
covering
the
period
of
March
1
through
March
31
more
in
coat
Department.
Just
some
of
the
highlights
we
had
484
total
calls
dead,
57
code
inspections
had
59
permits
written
in
that
time
frame
we
had
12
new
businesses
in
March,
apply
forbidden
slices.
It
shows
there
that
we
had
16
closed,
but
that's
not
terribly
accurate.
Those
were
basically
probably
closed
over
time
and
just
discovered
as
we
were
looking
into
getting
the
renewals
in.
So
that's
what
that
that
numbers
a
little
bit
skewed
for
that
month.
B
Let's
see
what
else
we've
got
here,
the
major
ongoing
projects
at
that
time
was
print.
Panera
Bread
and
the
expansion
of
Hitachi
Panera
got
their
CEO
today
and
I
talked
to
you
still
working
on
theirs.
We
were
receiving
payments
for
business
licenses
in
the
code
department.
We
had
209
payments
in
that
in
March
we
were
processing
business,
license,
I,
mean
alcohol
licenses
and
inspecting
and
processing
nuisance
housing
projects,
and
you
can
see
that
on
the
attached
Excel
spreadsheet,
the
city
marshal
removed
24
signs
from
the
roadway
road
78
repair.
B
Cleanup
orders
investigated
for
tampering
cases
and
wrote.
5
citations,
he
served
five
subpoenas
on
the
tear
down
orders,
residential
structures,
historic
preservation
issued
one
CoA
and
Planning
Commission,
heard
four
reasons:
one
variance
and
also
issued
one
CoA.
If
you
have
any
questions
about
the
balance
of
the
report,
object,
lab
dancer.
C
You
Mir
first
thing:
I
want
to
discuss
with
you
a
few
items
of
interest
of
the
storm
damage
we
had
over.
The
past
couple
of
weeks
did
some
stuff
that
I
really
haven't
seen
in
my
my
tenure
here
we
had
a
115
line,
broken
on
Spring
Street,
115
thousand
vote
line
that
feeds
the
substation
below
the
library.
The
good
thing
is
everything
worked
as
it
should
it
swapped
over
to
the
other
direction
feed.
We
only
lost
one
circuit
during
the
outage,
which
was
right
along
at
quality
foods
in
a
rich
Road.
C
We
worked
together
with
me
egg
and
Georgia
power
and
got
the
Pollard
place
at
the
time.
The
matter
got
the
road
back
open
and
that
that
that
was
just
great,
but
we
did
have
some
damage
to
some
polls
back
toward
the
substation,
and
then
we
discovered
after
that
and
you'll
see
the
crews
down
there
over
the
next
few
days.
Changing
those
polls
out
total
Internet
traffic
is
still
floating
around
three
and
a
half
to
four
gigs,
which
is
what
we
expected.
C
We
have
started
discussions
with
Colo
Atlanta,
which
is
a
data
center
across
the
road
from
56.
Many
other
Street
right
now
our
network
has
one
point
of
failure
and
that
is
at
5856
Marietta.
These
guys
are
at
55,
and
so
our
plan
is,
for
the
end
of
the
year
to
terminate
one
of
our
lines
to
it,
line
55
and
one
in
56,
and
that
takes
out
any
single
point
of
failure.
We're
actually
going
up
there
Thursday
to
start
the
meetings
and
discussions
with
them.
C
It's
part
of
our
project
we
discussed
during
the
budget
process,
which
is
the
one
of
our
CIP
projects
for
the
telecom
arm.
I'll
get
back
with
you
on
that.
We
on
our
bucket
truck
Julie
testing.
Every
year
we
have
to
talk.
We
have
to
test
twice
a
year
for
dielectric,
which
is
the
installation
of
the
buckets
and
then
once
a
year
for
the
structural
integrity
came
through
great.
We
have
very
few
issues
with
the
trust
we
have
one
it's
starting
to
show
some
issues,
but
it's
nothing
terrible.
C
As
of
yet
the
one
thing
I
want
to
talk
about,
and
the
monthly
director's
report
is
the
system
loss,
you'll
see
that
percentage
is
creeping
up
and
the
culprit
is
we're
using
less
energy.
The
loss
is
staying
about
the
same,
but
our
total
kilowatt
hour
sales
are
dropping
because
it's
been
so
Monika
January.
If
you
look
at
the
rolling
12
months,
it's
still
down
below
4%.
C
D
You
mayor
before
I
move
into
the
actual
financial
reports,
just
some
items
to
note
that
we
completed
or
going
through
through
a
month
of
March
and
on
into
April
we're
nearing
the
end
of
our
annual
audit
to
prepare
the
kafir'.
We
have
several
new
reporting
criteria
to
incorporate
into
of
this
year
and
we
should
be
able
to
present
that
to
you
in
June
peruse
the
financial
reports
you
have
before
you
may
notice
a
little
bit
of
a
lag
this
year
in
a
month-to-month
comparison,
we're
stepping
it
down
from
basically
13
accounting
periods
into
12.
D
Currently,
so
you
can
see
that
lag
a
little
bit
this
year
and
it
will
catch
up
at
the
end
of
the
year.
But
what
that
allows
is
a
financial
staff
accounting
staff
to
do
a
lot
less
injuries,
particularly
at
the
end
of
the
year,
and
you
know
we'll
cut
down
on
those
accrual
entries,
but
it
will
make
a
lot
more
sense
as
we
move
on
to
the
next
year.
As
for
the
actual
reporting
components,
I'll
work
on
providing
some
adjustments,
though
so
it'll
make
a
little
bit
more
sense
to
all
of
you.
D
When
you
try
to
look
at
that
month
to
month
or
year
over
year,
compares
staff
is
also
currently
sorting
through
the
results
of
an
RFP
for
a
new,
comprehensive
financial
and
utility
billing
software
on
once
approved
by
you.
The
implementation
could
take
8
to
12
months
to
do
it
properly,
so
that'll
be
an
exciting
time
for
us,
I'm
sure
to
dig
into
that.
One
other
item
of
note
is
dental
insurance.
D
Had
an
issue
brought
the
forest
about
the
new
carrier,
united
concordia
and
their
inability
to
work
with
some
of
our
local
providers.
Here
this
was
not
what
we
were
told.
Then
we
went
into
renewals
I'm
told
that
several
of
our
local
doctors
were
in
that
provider
network,
so
I'm,
currently
working
on
trying
to
find
a
solution
to
this
to
either
get
help
get
those
doctors
transitioned
into
this
network
or
find
some
other
remedy
for
this.
D
But
I
am
working
on
it
elegantly
so
children
to
that
the
city,
3
1,
1
mobile,
app
we've
got
some
of
these
cards
in
the
back
of
the
room
actually
just
outside
in
the
anteroom,
we're
having
pretty
good
success
with
the
3
1
1
reporting
app.
So
you
can
download
that
to
your
phone
and
report,
potholes
street
lights
being
out,
we've
had
pretty
positive
reports
because
it's
a
very
streamlined
process.
It
only
takes
a
few
seconds
to
get
the
issue
reported
and
it
goes
right
into
our
hyper
web
system.
D
So
each
department
picks
those
up
those
work
orders
up
and
can
start
on
them
right
away.
So
positive
response
so
far
other
quick
items
of
interest,
North,
Broad,
Street
and
has
enhancement
project
we've
completed
all
the
right
away,
even
an
acquisition,
and
we
are
awaiting
the
green
light
from
the
state
on
the
federal
funding
that
authorization
is
expected
to
come
down.
Sometime
this
month
from
there
we
can
likely
take
that
out
to
bed
in
June,
and
then
construction
will
start
a
few
months
thereafter.
D
D
Have
any
questions
about
those
items
I'll
be
happy
to
take
them
otherwise
I'm
leaving
financial
reporting.
Just
looking
at
the
stats
here,
we
had
a
lot
more
calls
coming
into
the
call
center,
mainly
weather-related.
That
was
the
big
pick
up
there
for
March.
Otherwise,
our
our
general
customer
counts
for
pretty
steady
throughout
the
month
of
March.
E
D
The
financials
cash
flow
wise,
we're
doing
pretty
well
year-over-year
they're
in
a
pretty
good
position.
No
major
strain
in
the
general
fund
will
be
collecting
tax
revenues.
I
think
it
later
this
year.
Stabilization
is
untouched
and
healthy
utility
revenues
are
also
going
to
help
the
state
right.
Now,
as
we
start
moving
into
the
project
season,
general
fund,
like
I
just
said,
the
remedies
will
lag
a
little
bit
as
we
move
into
the
tax
season.
What
some
items
of
interest
are
the
t
apt
and
Local
Option
Sales
Tax.
D
D
Combined
utilities
revenues
are
outpacing
expenses.
Through
the
month,
through
the
month
of
March
everything's
holding
steady
there
solid
waste.
We
have
the
lag
you'll
notice
in
the
solid
waste
report,
so
the
expenses
will
outpace
the
revenues
here,
but
that
will
catch
up
in
the
following
month
and
one
other
item
to
note.
Splost
is
just
a
little
bit
below
budget
month-on-month
about
ten
thousand
dollars
on
average,
so
buy
local,
and
maybe
we
can
have
some
more
monies
could
to
finish
our
sidewalks.
D
We
originally
had
Delta
the
previous
year
right,
so
they
were
covered.
We
got
a
little
bit
better
rate
under
united
concordia
who
actually
has
a
larger
network.
The
problem
is
some
of
our
local
dentists
were
not
in
this
network,
although
we
were
assured
they
were
when
we
went
through
these
negotiations.
G
Public
relations
details,
you
know
the
said
house
of
training
and
14
daily
inspections
issued
two
idiots
overall
to
the
public
next
week
will
be
added
from
the
State
Fire
Marshal
exactly
and
totally
and
become
we've
gotten
had
using
some
additional
smoke
detectors
through
his
office.
He's
go
Brian
speed
next
week.
We
will
process
with
it
not
this
month,
but
we
did
have
great
a
light
rain
event.
H
F
G
The
first
responder
fan,
knowing
that
most
time,
a
fire
person,
we
have
several-
that
EMT
EMS
or
two
paramedics
at
work
for
fire,
but
most
time
Holies,
also
domestic
air.
That's
it.
The
training
that
they
have
to
do
is
first
responders
or
they'd
be
in
there
first
may
be
able
to
save
the
life
of
simple
birthday
or
simple.
Lastly,
themselves.
What.
F
G
G
To
flee
police,
we
just
are
just
now
finishing
up
an
upgrade
on
our
records
management
system.
I
laid
an
additional.
You
see
our
return,
a
report
at
your
precision
air
to
look
at
so
when
I
get
to
the
part.
One
part:
two
crimes
I'll
talk
a
little
more
about
it.
Police
department
had
thirty.
Four
hundred
and
thirty
six
golf
service
at
eighteen
I
send
a
calls
to
the
PD
327
court
cases
conducted
five
hundred
fifty
three
hours
of
training.
G
G
Those
are
the
actual
uniform
crime
numbers
that
there
are
reporters
GCI
see
those
part,
one
crimes
total
with
73
for
the
month
of
March,
the
I'm
going
to
change
the
report
where
it
looks
on
that
a
little
bit
so
to
be
a
little
it'll,
be
a
little
different
next
month
when
we,
when
we
do
that
but
ago,
don't
want
to
go
too
deep
into
those
numbers.
I
want
to
make
sure
that
all
all
the
stuff
has
merged
in
it
that
we've,
given
that
salute
right,
number
work.
G
I
Thickness
mayor,
our
report
from
March
is
pretty
consistent
for
this
time
of
year.
If
things
up
on
usually
spring
time,
you
generate
a
lot
more
waste
extending
the
process
of
replacing
damaged
carts
on
on
the
route.
We've
got
citizens
who
need
one
just
call
the
office
and
we'll
the
replacement.
We
issued
six
three
this
month
and
scrap
tires,
and
we
still
picking
up
a
large
peptides
on
five
tones.
This
might
in
any
question
man.
J
J
Our
sign
and
marketing
division
completed
65
work,
orders,
building
maintenance
completed
around
eighty
four
quarters,
and
currently
we
are
beginning
to
start
asking
the
L
mix
streets
for
this
year.
Hopefully,
within
the
end
of
the
month
or
starting
early
June
will
start
results
in
the
streets
and
as
a
Monday,
Lumpkin
Street
became
one
way.
Most
of
you
know,
all
the
signage
has
been
replaced
and
changed,
and
the
dumpsters
loops
and
moved
out
with
solid
waste
housing
is
any
question
while.
C
J
D
L
Have
some
concerns
about
extending
it
to
1
a.m.
mainly
because
of
the
fact
that
that
is
in
a
residential,
neighborhood
and
I'm
a
firm
believer
that
nothing
good
happens
after
midnight?
I'd
be
I'd,
be
okay
with
midnight,
but
1
a.m.
I
think.
It's
just
asking
for
more
problems
than
we
need,
especially
in
that
location
and.
F
L
L
L
G
A
Given
the
fact
to
this
right
side,
residential
I
agree
with
Malcolm
I
think
11
o'clock
is
fine
for
that
building
and
a
buddy's
out
by
12
I
mean
if
you
end
it
by
one
and
everybody's
out
by
two
o'clock,
and
that's
just
I
mean
if
you
have
a
problem
with
that,
they
need
to
REM
another
built
I
mean
there's
plenty
of
buildings.
You
can
rent,
it's
not
in
a
residential
place,
are
taking
stay
off,
one
will.
F
A
N
O
N
Think
it
was
January
February.
We
had
a
good
many
people
come
in
and
speak
to
the
need
and
demand
for
T
hangars,
and
we
at
the
time
we
visited
the
private
public
partnership
idea.
But
after
getting
some
some
bids
on
it
and
whatnot,
the
actual
private
investors
can't
seem
to
I
mean
they
can't
cash
flow.
The
cost
of
what
a
T
hangar
would
be
based
on
lease
fees
as
they
currently
are
so
and
then
there's
always
the
option.
N
We
included
our
CIP
every
year
for
the
airport
that
FAA
and
DOD
money
would
come
in
and
basically
cover
75%
of
it
per
the
d-o-t
and
things
the
people
in
the
airport
committee.
Were
there
it's.
You
know.
If
you
had
a
hundred
items
on
there,
it's
number
97
on
what's
likely
to
get
funded
until
you
take
care
of
other
safety
issues
at
the
airport
and
other
needs.
You
can't
necessarily
have
that
one,
that's
not
to
say
that
you
wouldn't
get
it
in
the
future.
N
So
I,
think
kind
of
what
we've
discussed
and
what's
been
discussed
at
the
committee
meetings
is
to
look
at
the
the
city
building.
Look
at
the
idea.
You
know
taken
out
moment
to
do
so
and
kind
of
what
we're
thinking
is.
If
we
do
this,
that
we
go
through
the
full
process
and
we
go
through
barge
Wagner
Sumner
cannon.
Allow
them
to
do
the
design
work
to
do
the
engineering,
which
is
not
a
substantial
increase
to
the
device,
but
it
also
makes
us
eligible
to
wear
in
the
future.
N
We
can
apply
for
reimbursement
each
year
and
at
some
point
down
the
one
there's
a
good
chance
that
we
will
get
reimbursed
seventy-five
percent
of
our
costs
spin
it
on
the
T
hanger.
You
know
they
can't
save
win,
or
you
know
how
long
it
would
be,
but
it
opens
you
up
because
you
basically
cross
all
your
T's
and
dotted
your
eyes.
So
basically
I
mean
we're
kind
of
you
know
discussing
the
options
of
if
the
city
wants
to
take
this
on,
we
want.
We
want
to
build
the
T
hangars
in-house
I.
N
Don't
think,
there's
any
question
that
the
second
you
open,
they'll
be
filled
within
a
couple
of
days.
I
would
say
our
waiting
list
is
currently
probably
about
35
individuals.
I
would
say
of
that.
Maybe
half
or
extremely
serious
to
point
that
you
would
feel
fulfilling.
So
therein
lies
eight
hanger
units
that
can
be
filled
so
I'm
gonna,
let
Logan
kind
of
talk
to
what
he
had
worked
up
as
far
as
funding
the
funding.
M
Sources
well,
I
just
want
to
say:
I
did
talk
to
Logan
a
couple
weeks
ago
about
it
and
they
are
certainly
working
on
it.
I
get
calls
a
lot
from
the
committee.
They
want
to
speed
it
up,
speed
it
up.
You've
heard
this.
You've
heard
the
story,
but
I
just
love
to
see
us
figure
it
out
one
way
or
the
other
I
think
it
makes
sense.
It's
not
going
to
be
a
huge
moneymaker,
but
we're
not
losing
money
and
we're
growing
they're
poor.
M
It's
going
to
help
a
lot
of
areas
long
term,
so
I
just
encourage
Logan
and
Chris
to
keep
doing
what
you're
doing
and
let's
put
something
out
there
that
we
could
vote
on.
I
may
not
even
get
the
vote
on
it,
but
I'd
love
to
look
back
this
fall
or
winter
and
see
you
guys
doing.
You
can
start
the
construction
project
and.
N
One
thing
I
do
suggest
is
even
though
it's
number
97
on
a
list
of
100,
if
you're
doing
a
theoretical
theory
on
us
getting
funding
is
that
we
at
least
wait
til
July
until
we
get
the
letters
to
find
out
what
did
get
funded
because
we
do
have
hangars
on
there
and
if
you
know
we
go
through
with
this
and
then
we
get
T
hangars
funded.
You
know
you
just
you're,
basically
hooked
for
another
25%
city
contribution
towards
building
hangars.
N
L
M
D
The
ideal
situation
is
to
get
that
do
t
funding,
obviously-
and
it's
probably
going
to
take
us
to
at
least
that
July
period
assume
those
something
by
then
so.
Staff
can
go
ahead
and
start
work
on
looking
at
it,
maybe
like
a
GM,
a
lease.
What
I
would
recommend
just
looking
at
the
cash
flow,
maybe
a
10-year
loan
from
GMA
or
some
other
source,
and
that
would
allow
us
to
basically
use
half
of
what
we're
getting
off
of
the
the
hangar
leases
to
pay.
D
That
note
and
the
other
half
can
basically
basically
basically
be
used
to
fund
airport
operations.
So
I
think
that's
a
good
balance
so
long
as
we
talk
about
increasing
the
rates
as
well
on
unless
that's
a
touchy
subject
for
some
I've
just
done
some
different
scenarios
of
increasing
it
from
200
in
the
middle
to
250
and
then
to
40
up
to
325
percent
increase
for
each
and
that's
going
to
be
all
hangars,
not
just
the
new
ones,
all
hangars.
D
That
would
allow
us
to
really
start
on
some
projects
out
there,
beginning
with
the
set
of
80,
hangers
and
I
would
also
recommend
indexing
this
to
the
CPI
so
that
these
leases
don't
just
get
away
from
us
over
time,
so
our
dollar
is
still
always
as
valuable
as
that
dollar
was
five
years
ago
and
ten
years
ago.
That
makes
this
adjustable
as
we
go
out.
D
N
E
N
M
M
E
M
D
Us
I,
don't
think
I'd
have
a
problem
at
all
sand.
You
know
10-year
note,
and
that
way
we
still
have
some
cash
flow
in
for
these
airport
operations,
because
we're
not
really
making
anything
on
fuel,
but
I'll
have
to
break
even
enterprise.
So
it's
really
just
a
hangar
lease
payments
that
we
make
any
money
off
fob
at
the
airport.
You.
E
M
N
In
the
concept
of
the
you
know,
the
fuel
was
to
get
people
here
right
to
always
be
the
lowest
in
the
market.
As
long
as
we
weren't
losing
money.
You
know,
and
right
now
we're
at
roughly
about
a
10
percent
profit
on
all
our
sales
on
the
fuel,
which
is
enough
to
gradually
pay
for
the
fuel
farm
itself
and
about
two
and
a
half
years
we're
still
on
for
so.
D
A
H
O
You,
mr.
little,
oh
asking
for
your
approval
to
purchase
the
plc
for
the
water
plant,
this
is
a
control
device
that
basically
the
whole
operation
of
the
plant
hinges
on
this
one.
It's
one
unit
returned
pumps
on
and
off.
We
change
the
flow
rates
from
the
river
reservoir,
so
anything
that
goes
onto
that
plant
goes
to
this
unit.
It
is
a
sole
source.
We've
attached
to
some
source
letter,
o
volka
is
the
company
and
the
price
is
sixty,
eight
thousand
eight
hundred
forty
dollars
and
this
NRC
IP.
L
L
O
They're
both
the
person
for
the
plant
controls
the
other
ones
piscator,
which
basically
allows
me
to
see
the
tank
levels
see
where
the
water
is
in
the
system
see
where
my
reservoir
level
is,
that
type
thing
the
one
for
the
wastewater
plant
is
going
to
be
for
the
pump
stations
it
doesn't
have
anything
to
do
with
the
plant.
So
it's
going
to
be
separate
from
it.
G
O
Is
needed
now?
Well,
we
haven't
updated
our
software
in
over
ten
years.
That's
one
reason
the
prices
or
where
they
are
we're
having
to
play
catch-up
with
our
software
and
program
and
Brian,
and
some
of
these
guys
may
be
able
to
speak
up
a
little
bit
on
the
computer
side,
because
I,
don't
I,
don't
do
computers
so.
C
C
H
H
H
It
is
a
budgeted
item
from
CRP
right.
Yes,
you
and
the
any
other
question.
Is
there
a
motion
to
recommend
the
purchase
of
a
move?
We
approve
the
Senators
to
the
council
for
food
as
a
motion
through
second
second
motion.
One
second
and
all
those
in
favor
say
hi
will
recommend
that
in
council.
Thank
you,
nama,
smell
groups
about
the
terminal
unit,
the.
O
Great
Winston
treatment,
this
is
kind
of
like
the
same
deal
we
just
talked
about,
but
this
one
is
the
one
that
where
we
like
I
said,
we
see
the
levels
in
the
tanks.
We
can
see
the
level
the
river
the
reservoir
booster
pump
station
on
Walton
Road,
because
we
can
monitor
all
these
things
that
are
outside
the
plant.
O
O
O
H
O
One
is
for
the
our
night
lift
stations.
Currently,
we
have
no
way
of
monitoring
the
levels
that
are
in
the
wet
wells.
So
during
those
times
the
high
flows,
we
have
no
idea.
Basically,
what
happens
we
get
a
call
is
running
over
and
then
we
go
out
and
respond.
Then,
oh,
these
units
here
would
go
on
each
pump
station.
It
would
actually
give
us
those
those
levels,
those
flows
and
all
the
other
information
that
we
would
need
to
respond
in
case
of
high
flow
or
backup
or
something
was
going
on
with
the
pump
station.
O
It
would
alarm
us
through
through
our
cell
phones
and
we
could
respond
quicker
and
avoid
the
overflows
there's.
Also
there
was
another
50,000
in
the
CIP
for
next
year,
but
this
system
here
we
found
we've,
actually
visited
three
other
cities
and
took
a
look
they're
using
this
same
technology
and
was
very
very
pleased
with
with
what
it
was
able
to
do,
and
it's
a
lot
less
money.
So
we
won't
need
too
long.
We
won't
need
the
50,000
and
next
year,
CIP.
E
C
C
They
have
the
mini
excavators
on
the
utility
side
and
it's
come
more
and
more
problematic
for
us
to
get
access
to
one
because
of
the
projects
and
the
water
leak
issues
he's
had
going
on,
and
so
we
put
out
to
bid
with
purchasing
department,
Chris
Bailey,
but
I
was
bid
for
a
cockapoo
Qi
I
forget
the
exact
model
number
or
equivalent
and
Mason
tractor
came
in
with
a
Kubota
kxo
57
for
our
three
AP
at
a
much
cheaper
price
and
we
tested
the
equipment.
We
had
it
on
site.
C
C
C
C
O
The
storm
water
and
there's
no
money
in
the
budget
for
storm
water
and
now,
hopefully,
once
we
make
it
a
full
glass
department,
there'll
be
enough
money
to
do
something
there
with
the
construction
crews.
Basically,
what
they're
doing
is
there
any
water
sewer,
gas
and
spindle?
What
we
got
going
on
they're,
actually
starting
to
lay
the
waterline
on
a
mountain
creek
this
week
or
next
time
they
can
they
kind
of
moving
from
job
to
job.
So
you.
C
H
C
E
G
P
Thank
you.
A
few
things
to
report.
One
is
that
we
had
another
neighborhood
clean-up
day
on
April
22nd.
We
collected
three
thousand
seven
hundred
and
forty
pounds
of
trash,
and
eighty
two
scrap
tires.
Thank
you
today,
any
for
opening
up
the
transfer
station.
The
good
news
is
it's
harder
to
find
piles
of
trash
around
town,
so
I
don't
know
if
you've
noticed
that,
but
even
just
after
three
cleanup
days,
because
I
Drive
around
during
the
week
before
trying
to
pinpoint
target
areas
and
it's
getting
harder
to
do
so.
That
is
great
news.
P
We're
going
to
keep
doing
them
and
hope
to
see
more
progress.
We
also
had
last
Saturday
at
the
congressional
art
contest.
They
hosted
the
ceremony.
The
award
ceremony
here
brought
a
lot
of
people
to
tale
and
they
were
shopping
and
then
later
that
day
we
had
our
first
farm-to-table
dinner
event.
It's
very
successful
we're
getting
our
numbers
together.
We
did
raise
money
on
it,
so
that
says
class
and
a
great
committee
lots
of
volunteers
and
that
went
very
well.
We
have
our
first
concert.
P
This
Friday
we'll
have
actually
a
local
some
local
restaurant
restaurant
investors
are
actually
going
to
be
taste
testing
a
restaurant
concept
as
they
want
to
bring
to
Monroe.
So
it's
called
Silver
Queen
and
we
tacos
come
see
that
and
they're
in
the
process
of
trying
to
acquire
a
downtown
property
to
do
that
project
and,
lastly,
just
want
to
mention.
P
We
do
have
the
I
think
we're
going
to
discuss
it,
but
a
public
meeting
next
Monday
night
may
8th
to
get
public
feedback
and
input
on
the
Comprehensive
Plan
and
the
LC
I--
updates
the
livable
centers
initiatives.
Five-Year
updates
be
happy
to
answer
any
questions
you
have
on
any
of
those
great.
Thank
you.
Thank.
D
First,
true
conference
and
plan
that
Patrick's
been
working
on,
takes
a
public
input
on
it
and,
along
with
the
LCI
plan
that
we
have,
we
did
have
an
item
on
here
where
we're
going
to
flu
we're
going
to
do
an
application
for
a
project
for
the
LC
I,
but
right
now
we're
working
with
the
AR
C
regarding
our
actual
LCI
status
and
eligibility
for
future
projects.
It
doesn't
endanger
the
north
broad
project,
but
we're
going
to
continue
on
with
this
LCI
update
as
if
everything
is
still
good.
D
So
that's
why
we're
going
to
continue
to
have
that
on
May,
the
8th
and
then
after
that
we'll
be
bringing
that
before
you
on
May
9th
for
a
final
approval,
so
you're
welcome
to
attend
that
and
give
any
input
or
give
any
input
to
us
beforehand.
Thank
you.
Okay.
