Description
The regular monthly meeting of the Oklahoma City River Trust, via video conference, for July 21, 2020.
A
Baby,
yes,
sir,
okay,
I
want
to
welcome
everyone,
it's
actually
a
little
after
one,
but
I
need
to
read
you
a
few
things
before
we.
I
call
the
meeting
to.
A
A
C
A
C
C
A
C
Regarding
our
dredging
contract,
since
the
last
meeting,
we
had
the
contractor
move
into
the
exchange
area
and
they've
been
dredging
in
there.
They
removed,
I
think,
about
12
000
cubic
yards
of
material.
They
finished
stretching
in
that
area
on
july
2nd
and
we've
returned
the
river
back
to
the
normal
pool.
Elevations.
C
On
repair
projects,
we've
gotten
proposals
for
replacement
of
the
doors
on
the
dam
houses,
we're
working
on
doing
an
informal
contract
to
get
that
work
done.
C
We,
I
think
we
mentioned
it
last
time,
but
we
had
a
cylinder
fail
on
the
may
dam
on
crest
cake.
Five,
that's
been
strutted
since
then.
We've
got
proposals
to
go
ahead
and
replace
those
cylinders,
and
we
expect
that
work
to
start,
probably
in
the
early
to
mid
august
and
then.
C
Also,
on
my
deal,
there'd
been
requests
for
an
update
on
the
rock
creek
bank
stabilization.
So
I
got
a
short
presentation
on
that.
A
C
Basically,
we're
just
trying
to
improve
the
stabilization
to
improve
the
longevity
of
the
creek
and
also
to
prevent
more
erosion
and
sediment
going
into
the
river
we're
going
to
look
at
working
in
four
areas
along
the
river.
When
we
get
done
the
materials
we're
using
will
help
provide
a
more
natural
appearance
while
still
stabilizing
the
banks,
three
of
the
areas
we're
using
armormax,
which
is
a
fabric
that
is
anchored
down
over
the
soil,
to
keep
the
soil
in
place.
C
These
this
drawing
just
shows
the
areas
we're
working
on
the
three
areas
to
the
right
of
the
screen
are
we're
going
to
reuse
those
two
materials,
the
scatterer
guard
garden
bank
stabilization
membrane,
then
the
western
avenue
bridge
area
we'll
just
be
improving
that
with
riprap
to
stabilize
the
bank
in.
C
This
kind
of
shows
how
the
materials
will
be
used.
The
squares
you
see
on
those
banks,
the
bottom
one-
is
a
gabian
basket,
which
is
just
basically
a
wire
basket
that
fills
with
rock
and
it'll,
provide
a
anchor
or
foundation
for
the
rest
of
it.
C
The
next
two
boxes
you
see
as
you
go
up
are
those
the
skyrlock,
the
synthetic
boxes
that
are
filled
with
dirt
and
then
they
put
willow
shoots
into
those
and
the
roots
help
bind
it
all
together
and
stabilize
it
also,
but
that's
the
process
for
stabilizing
the
bank,
and
then
they
use
the
synthetic
ground
cover
fabric
on
the
slope
above
that
to
stabilize
that
part
of
the
slope
go
to
the
next
slide.
C
C
This
is
just
some
project
information
engine
olson
was
the
engineer
on
the
project
and
the
contractor
is
cp
integrated.
Who
also
happens
to
be
our
dredging
contractor
the
award
amount
on
it
was
1.76
million
construction
began
on
may
26th.
C
But
anyway,
it's
scheduled
to
be
complete
by
november
of
2020,
but
they'll
go
ahead
and
keep
the
park
area
closed
until
december
31st
just
to
protect
the
new
vegetation
and
make
sure
it's
all
taking
off
and
doing
well
is.

B
Proposed
amendment
to
the
primary
lease
agreement
between
the
city
and
the
authority
for
the
north
canadian
river
corridor
and
its
principal
purpose
is
to
extend
the
agreement's
term.
The
lease
agreement
currently
has
a
25-year
term
that
commenced
in
2005,
so
it
is
currently
scheduled
to
expire
in
2030,
which
is
it's
less
than
10
years
from
now
in
2008,.
B
Amendment
number
four
also
addresses
subleases
and
provides
that
the
authority
shall
have
the
right
and
its
discretion
to
assume
any
subleases
made
by
any
sublessor.
C

A
B
Currently,
mr
chairman,
again,
this
is
jared
baby
assistant
municipal
counselor,
amendment
number,
four
to
the
lease
and
operation
agreement
for
the
mapstreet
whitewater
facility
provides
for
a
management
fee
for
fiscal
year
2021
for
riversport
foundation.
B
The
the
amount
of
the
management
fee
would
be
not
to
exceed
amount
of
1.5
million,
and
this
would
be
a
pass-through
from
the
city
of
oklahoma
city.
Through
the
riverfront
redevelopment
authority,
payment
of
the
management
fee
would
be
subject
to
the
approval
of
the
authority's
general
manager
and
the
foundation
submittal
of
financial
reports.
B
Finally,
amendment
number
four
stipulates
that
if
the
foundation
services
are
terminated,
the
authority
may,
at
its
discretion,
assume
any
sublease
made
by
the
foundation
and.
