A
So
the
Jonah
be
rehearsal
hall
is
actually
a
combination
of
two
rooms
that
used
to
exist
in
both
the
37
and
the
67
Hall
the
carousel
room
and
then
for
12
for
12
was
where
the
Philharmonic
used
to
rehearse
in
the
62nd
and
97
renovation.
They
took
what
was
the
carousel
room
and
for
12
they
dropped
the
sealian
for
12.
They
took
all
the
pillars
out
and
they
made
this
agility
rehearsal
hall.
A
Now
the
idea
behind
this
hall
was
that
the
width
of
this
hall
is
the
width
of
the
playing
area
of
the
stage,
and
when
you
pull
all
these
curtains,
it
is
supposed
to
mimic
the
acoustics
onstage.
We
have
oversized
air
vents,
so
they
don't
make
noise.
We
have
soundproof
ceilings,
we
have
a
sprung
floor
and
the
idea
was
that
the
Philharmonic
would
rehearse
up
here
and
then
go
down
and
do
their
performances
on
stage.
But
the
Philharmonic
rehearsed
up
here
and
they
said
not
so
much.
A
The
acoustics
were
so
superior
on
stage
that
it
would
take
them
entire
rehearsal
just
to
reverse,
so
they
do
the
majority
of
their
rehearsing
on
today's.
The
only
time
they
were
hurts
up
here
is
when
there's
a
run
out
the
need
to
rehearsal
or,
if
they're,
in
the
pit,
for
the
ballet
they'll
do
the
first
rehearsal
up
here
and
the
second
rehearsal
will
be
in
the
pit.
