Good.
C
Over
the
weekend
my
family
was
involved
in
a
hit-and-run
accident
and
these
first
responders
came
to
our
aid
and
a
time
of
need
and
they're,
always
here
for
our
city
and
I'd
like
to
thank
them
for
that
now
getting
on
to
the
Convention
and
Visitors
Bureau.
As
many
have
just
already
know,
the
Oklahoma
State
Fair
is
coming.
Is
this
month
it's
one
of
my
favorite
events
of
the
year.
It
will
be
here
from
September
12th
to
September
22nd
and
will
has
a
expected
total
of
a
million
people
attending.
C
This
is
one
of
the
largest
state
fairs
in
the
nation
and
brings
in
many
people
from
neighboring
states,
as
well
as
neighboring
cities
to
Oklahoma
City
maps,
for
is
also
a
big
thing
going
on
in
our
city
right
now
and
relating
to
the
Convention
and
Visitors
Bureau.
There
will
be
a
new
proposed
fairground
Coliseum,
which
will
replace
the
aging
gym
nor
Karina.
This
will
replace
the
generic
arena
as
the
host
of
many
equestrian
events
that
take
place
in
our
city,
as
well
as
the
big
house
for
State
basketball
tournaments.

E
Afternoon,
Oklahoma
City,
my
name
is
Maya
Shadid
and
I
am
so
excited
to
talk
to
you
about
all
the
awesome
stuff
going

in
our
city
this
upcoming
month.
First,
there
are
two
urban
design
meetings,
the
first
one
on
September

the
second
on
September

the
first
one
on
September

will
be
a
downtown
meeting,
make
sure
you
go
just
to
voice
your
opinion.
We
really
want
more
people
there
and
it's
really
really
awesome.
E
Secondly,
there
is
a
individual
consideration
at
Northwest,
41st
Street
for
a
constructed
garage
for
high
purposes,
but
staff
has
denied
this
recommendation
because
they
feel
and
it
will
have
an
adverse
effect
on
the
historical
property
around
the
house.
There
has
been
a
big
big
discussion
and
urban
design
recently
about
synthetic
turf
in
planting
areas.
So
if
you
would
like
to
discuss
make
sure
to
come
to
our
meeting
September

September

F
We
are
opening

This
means
more
traffic
into
Oklahoma,
City
and
revenue
from
travelers.
In
addition,
we
are
resurfacing
the
terminal
Drive
I'm
not

K
Afternoon
my
name
is
Nick,
saying
a
senior
at
Western
Heights
High
School,
representing
Oklahoma
City
at
large.
Today,
my
report
will
be
for
the
economic
development.
Trust
of
Oklahoma
City
first
and
most
exciting,
for
me,
is
that
the
Economic
Development
Trust
has
worked
hard
alongside
the
scissortail
Park
Foundation
and
into
order
to
ensure
that
their
management
budget
has
been
set
for
the
anticipated
part.
K
The
park
is
scheduled
to
open
on
September
27th
and
will
include
many
amenities
that
we
need
in
downtown
Oklahoma
City
such
as
the
dog
park,
many
Gardens,
a
children's
garden,
a
lake
which
includes
kayaking
and
paddleboarding,
as
well
as
a
boathouse
and
a
roller
rink.
The
weekend
of
the
opening
of
September
27th
through
the
29th.
There
will
be
a
free
concert
hosted
on
the
love's
travel,
stop
stage
and
great
lawn.
The
headliner
of
this
concert
is
Kings
of
Leon,
so
if
you're,
a
fan
of
them
I
would
be
sure
to
head
down
there.
K
Other
attractions
scheduled
to
perform
on
the
stage
include
the
Oklahoma
City
Philharmonic.
This
130
two
million
dollar
park
is
a
great
asset
for
us
and
is
going
to
push
us
alongside
the
city's
goal
of
fostering
outdoor
community
engagement.
Moving
on
Bricktown
is
going
to
be
getting
some
very
needed
infrastructure
improvements,
so
some
of
these
include
sidewalks
a.da
ramps
for
wheelchair,
accessible
people,
as
well
as
many
streetscape
amenities
to
beautify
my
favorite
district
in
Oklahoma
City.
Thank
you
and
this
concludes
my
report
for
the
economic
development
trust.
L
Today,
I
will
be
reporting
on
the
interesting
events

exciting

decided
to

have
been
no
further

there
has
been
some
discussion
over

on
the
lookout
to
expect
to
see
changes
on
the
early

Building
as
there
have
been
requests
for
modifications
and
my
favorite,
the
James
E
Stewart
Clubhouse
seem
to
be
on
track
and
under
budget
with
a
budget
of
3.5
million
dollars.
They
are
in
the
early
design

we
can

Another
item
that
will

on

is
the
update
to
the
Downtown
Development
framework.
O
The
Downtown
Development
framework
is
a
guided
development
that
has
additional
guidelines
for
downtown
and
at
the
August
15th
meeting,
the
downtown
design
review
committee
approved
a
new
parking
lot
on
North
East
class
and
Northwest
ninth
Street.
This
parking
lot
is
for
employees
of
business,
and
that
is
on
the
side
of
ninth
Street.
Last
but
not
least,
one
of
the
biggest
excitements
for
downtown
at
the
moment
is
the
pending
opening
of
the
new
theater
park.
That
will
be
opening
on
the
last
weekend
of
September.
Thank
you

this
concludes
my

on

for
these
exciting
new
events.
Coming
to
the
zoo
near
you,
the
zoo
is
having
their
third
annual
monarch
madness,
5k
and
one
mile
fun
run
on
September
14th.
Q
The
run
happens
during
the
monarch,
migration
and
the
new
course
goes
through
the
zoo.
So
runners
will
have
a
chance
to
see
the
butterflies
while
they
run
by
the
rent,
is
from
6:30
a.m.
to
9:00
a.m.
and
then
from
9:00
a.m.
to
12:00.
There's
a
monarch
festival.
You
can
learn
how
to
make
your
garden
pollinator
friendly,
as
well
as
about
the
environmental
initiatives
to
help
save
the
monarch
ecosystems.
Q
The
monarch
population
has
declined
by
about
80
percent
in
the
last
20
years,
due
to
habitat
loss
and
pesticide
use.
The
proceeds
of
this
event
will
go
to
help
saving
their
ecosystems
the
course
simulates
the
3,000
mile
flight
that
the
Monarchs
take
from
Canada
to
Mexico
for
their
migration
for
the
winter.
Let's
run
so
they
can
fly
on
September
7th.
The
zoo
is
having
an
adult
zoo
camp,
it's
from
9:00
a.m.
to
2:30
p.m.
you,
the
adults
that
attend
this
can
work
with
animal
keepers
and
attend
animal
demonstrations.
Q
Also
on
September
7th
there's
a
volunteer
open
house
people
who
attend
this
can
learn
about
conservation
and
giving
back
to
the
community.
There
are
a
few
new
animals
at
the
zoo.
There
are
new
baby
red
pandas,
I'm,
very
excited
about
they're,
very
cute,
and
they
will
go
on
display
soon.
There
are
also
new
baby
flamingos.
If
you
have
any
questions
about
the
events
that
I
mentioned.

Water
trust
after
interviewing
Chris

the
Oklahoma

Trust
director,
my
partner,
Gladys,
green
and
I,
were
informed
of
the
four
major
product
projects
that
they
are
currently
working
on.
R
The
first,
a
72
inch
pipeline
placed
directly
by
the
current
60
inch
pipeline
under
Lake
Atoka.
This
is
estimated
to
take
two
to
three
years
to
complete
and
will
cost
seven
hundred
million
dollars,
which
will
be
taken
out
of
the
yearly
budget.
The
second,
a
pipeline
of
treated
water
will
be
connecting
the
Hefner
and
Draper
water
plans.
This
is
also
estimated
to
take
two
years,
the
third
they
are
wanting
to
expand
wastewater
plants,
all
three
of
these
projects
file
under
their
fourth
main
overarching
project,
which
is
converting
from
a
reactive
organization
to
a
proactive
one.
