B
A
Dear
heavenly
father,
as
the
citizens
of
the
city
of
oldsmore
meet
together
to
address
our
local
concerns
and
opportunities,
we
give
thanks
to
you
for
the
bounty
that
we
enjoy
in
all
aspects
of
our
community
life.
We
ask
for
your
inspiration
to
strive
for
excellence
in
our
endeavors
to
serve
the
public,
grant
us
peace
in
our
world
and
harmony
between
all
people.
To
your
greater
glory.
This
we
pray,
amen.
B
B
At
the
next
council
meeting,
we
we
will
be
reviewing
and
updating
our
council
rules
of
procedure.
We
have
already
given
direction
to
include
rules
of
civility
and
decorum,
but
I
wanted
to
address
this
issue
now.
With
that
I
will
open
the
citizens
open
forum.
Each
speaker
will
be
allowed
to
speak
for
five
minutes.
You
can
speak
on
any
topic
you
would
like,
except
for
item
five,
for
that
is
a
public
hearing.
B
C
Hi
everyone
thank
you
for
having
me
my
name
is
melissa
cuomo.
I
live
at
301
park
boulevard,
I'm
speaking
today
as
the
vp
of
membership
for
the
old
mar
elementary
pta.
First,
I
want
to
thank
councilwoman
gannon.
She
was
one
of
the
first
moms
to
join
our
pta
and
also
vice
mayor
buckman
and
mrs
buckman
for
also
joining
the
first
week
of
school.
Your
membership
for
art,
for
our
pta
will
help
us
do
a
lot
of
wonderful
things
for
the
children,
the
staff,
those
teachers
at
oldsmar.
C
C
They
need
our
help
and
our
support
more
than
ever
as
a
working
parent.
I
understand
that
there
are
time
constraints
and
that
we
are
all
under.
I
also
understand,
starting
at
a
new
school
having
a
kindergartener
and
not
knowing
how
to
help
or
support
your
school
joining
the
pta
is
a
wonderful
way
to
get
involved
and
help
the
teachers,
students
and
staff.
One
of
the
main
misconceptions
I
get
all
the
time
is,
I
don't
have
the
time.
I
don't
need
your
time.
I
need
your
money
joining
your
pta.
C
You
do
not
have
to
volunteer,
we
would
love
for
you
to
volunteer.
We
would
love
for
you
to
come
to
events,
but
it's
not
a
requirement
simply
becoming
a
member
helps
your
child's
school.
We
put
on
events
last
year,
mr
buckman
will
know
we
did
a
really
great
reptile
event.
We
do
bingo.
We
we
do
a
lot
of
great
things.
C
The
chamber
power
clean,
has
donated
tons
of
stuff.
It
helps
just
becoming
a
member.
Another
misconception
that
I'm
sure
is
going
to
come
up
is,
but
you
can
only
join
one.
No,
you
can
join
as
many
ptas
as
you
want,
and
I'm
also
going
to
advocate
that
you
for
forest
lakes
elementary
as
well.
There
are
two
of
two
schools
in
oldsmar
and
we
both
need
the
help.
C
So
you
don't
have
to
volunteer
to
be
a
member
and
you
can
join
more
than
one
pta.
Also
parents,
grandparents,
aunts,
uncles
friends,
community
members
can
all
join
and
be
members.
Our
mission
is
to
advocate
to
make
every
child's
potential
a
reality
by
engaging
and
empowering
families
and
communities
to
advocate
for
all
children.
So
what
I'm
doing
tonight
is
I'm
up
here,
inviting
all
of
you
all
of
you
to
please
join
oldsmar
forest
lakes
or
your
school's
pta.
We
need
the
membership
it.
It
really
does
help
us.
C
Our
goal
is
300
for
this
year,
we're
already
at
111,
but
we
would
love
for
you
guys
to
help
make
our
goal
come
even
faster,
and
just
so
you
know
memberships
for
us
are
six
dollars
each.
You
can
see
me
at
the
end.
I
can
give
you
guys
the
website.
I
can
give
you
guys
a
paper
form
just
you
know
we
invite
you
to
join
and
just
some
just
some
events
that
we're
going
to
be
having
at
the
school
starting
september.
C
6Th
we'll
be
having
a
spirit
night
at
the
firehouse
subs
every
tuesday
in
september,
in
east
lake,
from
five
to
close.
Just
going
and
ordering
dinner
helps
our
school.
We
are
going
to
be
at
second
friday,
starting
in
september,
so
you'll
see
me
there,
along
with
some
other
parents,
we
have
a
grandparents
breakfast
coming
and
a
general
pta
meeting
on
september
22nd.
So
thank
you
for
your
time.
We
look
forward
to
it.
If
you
have
any
questions,
please
come
and
see
me.
Thank
you.
B
A
Good
evening
dave,
beinart,
1810
high
business
course
south,
I'm
here
on
behalf
of
oldsmar
little
league,
we're
starting
our
fall
season,
we're
real
excited.
We
actually
have
record
numbers
our
registration
just
closed
yesterday
and
we
have
190
kids
registered,
which
is
the
best
we've
done
since
before
so
we're
real
excited
and
we're
especially
excited
about
the
new
fields
and
can't
wait
to
get
out
there
and
get
started.
Thank
you
for
your
support
and
everything
you
guys
do.
Every.
B
D
A
D
F
We
do
have
a
couple
of
our
oldsmar
cultural,
I'm
sorry,
our
old,
smart
friends
of
the
arts
board
with
us
today
miss
barbara
drobo
back
here
and
miss
marin
leisholt
also
back
here
and
miss
vicki
was
able
to
make
it
today,
she's,
usually
working
at
the
hospital
on
tuesdays,
so
we're
honored
to
have
her
and
we'll
say
some
extra
prayers
for
her
husband
who's
still
in
the
hospital,
so
send
your
prayers.
For
mr
chris
elkin
who's
battling
some
challenges
in
the
hospital.
We
have
also
brought
up
some
of
our
parents.
F
Mr
javin
miller,
in
the
back
here,
does
a
lot
of
our
construction
building.
All
those
sets
you
see
for
our
performances
to
his
right
actually
is
mr
paul.
That
is
yvonne's
dad,
who
has
also
been
quite
here,
helping
us
as
well,
and
then,
if
my
group
spreads
out
a
little
bit,
we
have
miss
allison,
missy
vaughn,
miss
madison,
mr
loki,
mr
eric,
and
I
think
I
got
everybody
introduced
formally.
We
all
want
to
say
you
know
thank
you
for
your
support.
F
Not
at
all,
would
you
mind
waiting
with
us
folks,
okay,
we
would
be
glad
to
and
we'll
talk
a
little
further.
Then,
when
the
item
comes
up,
I
just
wasn't
sure
which
policy.
So
at
this
point,
while
I
have
this
whole
group
up
here,
we
do
want
to
say
that
we
greatly
appreciate
the
support
for
our
program,
our
students
and
our
families,
and
these
kids
would
like
to
take
a
moment
to
say
thank
you
for
your
support.
B
H
H
If
you
entered
a
jigsaw
puzzle
piece
into
the
art
public
art
it's
time
to
take
them
away.
So
the
deadline
is
wednesday
august
31st
at
5
pm.
If
you
have
jigsaw
puzzle
pieces
on
display
at
city
hall
and
would
like
to
keep
them-
and
you
guys
worked
so
hard
on
them
and
they
turned
out
so
nice,
but
residents
have
until
wednesday
august
31st
to
pick
them
up
and
the
pieces
will
be
removed
to
make
way
for
the
next
art
exhibit.
That's
all.
I
have
questions
city.
B
G
B
G
E
Maybe
item
two
like
ahead
of
item
two:
I'm.
I
J
K
Good
evening,
everyone,
first
of
all,
I
want
to
thank
jerry
beverland
for
asking
me
to
acknowledge
babe
right.
I've
only
just
met
a
few
times
before
tonight,
so
who
is
babe
right?
K
They
initially
lived
in
tampa,
but
bob
worked
in
dunedin
at
the
bank,
and
so
he
drove
through
oldsmar
every
day
and
he
wanted
to
move
here.
They
bought
their
first
home
on
shore
drive,
it
was
a
fire
sale.
There
was
a
fire,
there
needed
a
lot
of
renovation,
and
then
she
moved
to
state
street
and
racetrack
road
after
she
retired
from
anp.
She
heard
about
a
soon
to
be
oldsmar
flea
market.
K
K
K
Mr
mr
beaverland
asked
her
to
help
raise
money
for
the
first
fire
station.
I've
asked
representatives
from
oldsmar
fire
rescue
to
join
us
tonight.
For
this
occasion,
herschel
jones
jerry
and
wander
beaverland
each
donated
five
thousand
dollars.
Babe
raised
fifteen
thousand
dollars,
and
that
wasn't
the
be
that
was
just
the
beginning.
She
went
on
and
her
team.
They
raised
another
twenty
four
thousand.
K
They
built
the
first
fire
station
in
1980
for
a
community
of
two
thousand
residents.
All
with
private
donations,
not
one
single
tax
dollar
was
used.
I
think
that's
pretty
amazing
over
the
course
of
the
years
she's
partnered
with
the
beaverlands
and
she
donated
a
large
piece
of
property
on
douglas
to
eventually
be
used
as
a
park
and
then
another
corner
lot
in
lafayette
and
buckingham.
K
She
served
as
a
city
council
member
twice
she's,
been
on
the
city's
code
enforcement
board
for
20
years.
She
also
volunteers
at
oldsmar,
cares
and
hospice
and,
along
with
some
of
her
friends,
she
also
started
the
top
of
the
bay
garden
club
and
when
it's
sunset
she
spearheaded
the
planting
in
front
of
this
building
to
honor
them.
I've
also
heard
that
if
you
needed
something,
you
just
asked
her
what
an
incredible
person
when
I
asked
babe,
what
do
you
like
about
oldsmar?
She
responded.
K
I
also
asked
her
what
keeps
her
going
after
60-year
career.
I
was
particularly
interested
in
that
and
she
said
you
have
to
stay
busy
and
you
can't
just
sit
around
so
babe.
I'm
thankful
for
your
steadfast
service
and
commitment
to
oldsmar,
I'm
honored,
to
give
you
this
award,
and
I
hope
that
that
you
continue
to
serve
and
that
I
continue
to
see
over
the
years.
So
please
please
join
me.
A
K
E
F
Formalities
again,
suda
aliantes,
cologne,
402,
arlington,
old,
arlington,
avenue
east,
I'm
the
director
of
the
opel
theater
and
masuda's
dance
programs.
As
we
said,
we
brought
some
of
our
kids
along
to
share
with
you
some
of
the
things
that
we've
done
together
and
some
of
the
things
we're
hoping
to
do
together.
F
I'm
going
to
try
to
stick
to
my
script,
so
I
stay
within
my
lotted
amount
of
time.
Today
in
our
unique
partnership,
we
would
like
to
reiterate
that
our
current
sponsorship
funds,
although
so
greatly
appreciated
and
so
much
helping
us
build
this
program,
only
sustain
one
current
program.
F
F
Friends
was
tasked
with
raising
additional
funds
to
support
the
need
of
a
specific
current
city
weekly
run
program,
and
we
believe
we
have
a
proven
track
record
of
our
success
and
our
short
time
together
through
our
relationship.
We
have
also
discussed
the
hopes
of
working
together
in
partnership
to
grow
the
performing
arts
in
oldsmar
in
our
future
that
growth
affects
our
current
and
future
programs
as
an
example.
F
Some
people
may
be
unaware
that
years
ago,
although
babe
wright
probably
knows-
and
I
know
jerry
knows-
because
he
was
in
them-
the
city
of
oldsmar
had
three
different
aged
successful
theater
programs.
They
were
individual
city
programs
entitled
opal,
youth,
opal,
teens
and
opal
adults,
allowing
students
to
work
together
within
their
own
age
groups
with
each
program.
F
F
For
example,
a
seven-year-old
auditioning
for
a
current
lead
role
against
a
more
experienced
teen
may
not
get
the
role
they
hoped
for
if
they
had
been
competing
with
students
of
their
own
age.
So
this
has
always
been
one
of
our
goals
to
look
to
a
future.
To
get
back
to
these
variety
of
theater
programs-
and
this
has
been
our
goal-
to
re-establish
these
three
programs
in
our
future.
Another
goal
with
the
current
opel
theater
program
is
that
we
need
to
purchase
up
to
three
scripts
in
advance.
F
This
gives
us
18
months
that
we're
allowed
to
purchase
ahead
of
time,
and
it
is
critical
for
inclusion
in
plays
playbills
and
future
promotion
of
auditions
and
performances.
We
cannot
promote
or
even
list
the
name
of
a
future
show
until
licensing
is
purchased
and
in
place.
We
should
be
promoting
the
next
three
shows
for
2023
2024
in
our
october
play
bill,
but
with
limited
funding
prior
to
this
performance,
we
will
only
be
able
to
secure
licensing
to
promote
the
april
2023
show
in
order
to
grow
these
programs
and
other
programs
together
as
partners.
F
The
current
funding
leaves
us
little
or
no
room
for
improvement.
Our
current
funding
only
sustains
the
one
program,
opel
theater
at
the
current
cost,
which,
of
course,
costs
are
increasing
not
only
for
theater,
but
for
all
of
us
around
the
country
and
world.
It
doesn't
allow
us
any
room
for
growth
in
the
quality
of
equipment.
Rentals
future
script
purpose
purchases,
improvements
of
the
current
program
or
growth
of
additional
programs,
although
ofota
as
we
finally
refer
to
holdsmar
friends
of
oldsmar
friends
of
the
arts,
is
working
hard
towards
building
these
funds
as
well.
F
F
We
appreciate
it,
but
we
all
hope
to
grow
no
room
to
build
the
current
opel
theater
program,
allowing
us
to
rent
better
equipment,
we're
on
the
lowest
end
of
equipment.
Rentals.
We
have
the
least
amount
of
lights
we
can
rent.
We
are
working
with
the
bare
minimum.
All
things
considered,
it
does
not
give
us
the
opportunity
to
grow
or
consider
future
theater
programs
does
not
support
the
hopes
of
a
community
chorus
which
a
number
of
volunteers
for
15
years
have
gotten
together
to
perform
at
christmas
wonderland
or
bring
back
things
like
an
outdoor
event.
F
That
was
originally
a
city
program,
a
city
event,
art
that
was
started
by
volunteers,
art
in
the
park
and
no
room
to
create
and
build
other
future
performing
arts
programs.
Our
community
would
like
to
engage
in.
We
need
to
plan
and
invest
in
the
growth
of
future
programs
to
the
benefit
of
our
students,
our
families
and
our
community.
We
request
that
council
review
in
the
future
to
consider
increased
sponsorship
funding
to
build
the
current
programs
as
well
as
invest
in
our
performing
arts
future.
F
As
I'm
fond
of
saying
and
hoping
it
to
become
a
standard
in
the
future.
It
starts
with
parks
and
grows
with
arts
and
together
we
can
make
growth
happen
for
our
performing
arts
programs
and
the
community.
And
of
course,
we
all
hope
to
see
you
at
our
october
15th
performance
moana
with
miss
madison
as
moana
mr
loki
as
maui.
Thank
you.
F
Miss
madison
as
alice
miss
allison.
I
do
this
all
the
time
I
call
madison
and
allison.
I
switch
their
names
all
the
time
as
say
you
say
your
character
name.
I
see
it
loud
and
miss
yvonne
as
sia
cena
and
mr
eric
is
always
helping
us
on
the
side,
although
he
can't
be
in
the
show,
he's
been
in
a
number
of
shows
in
the
past.
So
please
keep
this
in
mind
for
the
future.
F
We
do
appreciate
everything
that's
been
done
so
far,
but
our
goal
is
growth
together
and
right
now
we
love
it
and
it's
working,
but
we're
only
sustaining
so
keep
that
in
mind
for
your
future
as
well.
For
us
council,
as
you
look
at
budgets
down
the
road
to
help
us
improve
these
programs
even
further.
Thank
you
very
much
for
your
time.
Okay,
so
do
we.
B
We
are
on
item
number.
Ten.
Okay
approve
additional
funding
requests.
You
are
requesting
an
additional
three
thousand
dollars
for
the
oldsmar
friends
of
the
arts
for
fiscal
year
2021
and
22..
This
is
a
new
agenda
item
and
I
just
want
to
make
one
comment.
We
just
gave
you
six
thousand
dollars
at
our
budget
meeting
correct
mm-hmm,
okay,
well,.
F
G
B
E
E
Yeah
the
there
was
a
couple
questions
raised
because
they're
there
hasn't
previously
been
an
occasion
where
a
nonprofit
has
come
to
ask
for
more
funding,
but
your
letter,
which
is
included
in
the
agenda
packet
kind
of
lays
out
the
cycle.
I
guess
I
guess
you
could
call
it
like
a
budget
cycle
for
how
expenditures
are
made
and
you've
talked
briefly
about
it.
Already.
F
I
I
already
got
my
hands
slapped
because
we
have
to
turn
in
the
playbills.
The
finished
playbills
have
to
go
to
music
theater
international
right
after
the
shows,
and
I
had
we
had
not
purchased
one
because
of
the
way
the
funding
came
through
one
of
the
scripts,
and
I
had
listed
just
the
name,
moana
jr
or
whatever
it
was
in
the
playbill,
and
they
did
contact
me
back
and
said
you
cannot
even
list
it
by
name
until
you
have
the
rights
in
place
for
the
scripts.
E
Even
if
you
perform
the
lion
king
jr
again,
let's
say
those
payments
have
to
be
made
for
the
rights.
F
Again
correct,
the
only
thing
we
have
the
benefit
of
is:
if
we
have
additional
scripts
hard
copy
scripts
that
were
left
over
the
actual
book
that
they
give
us,
which
is
a
rather
large
three
bound
book.
That
stuff
all
remains.
So
there
would
be,
I
believe,
a
little
bit
of
a
reduced
cost
because
we're
not
getting
the
show
kit,
but
we
would
still
have
to
purchase
the
rights.
To
repeat
any
other
shows.
F
Now
we
haven't
done
any
repeats,
so
I'm
not
sure
how
that
applies,
but
it's
a
thousand.
I
think
it's
a
thousand
fifty
on
an
average
for
us
to
get
the
new
script
rights
for,
for
example,
that
we're
looking
towards
purchasing
for
our
april
2023
performance.
F
F
F
I
see
you
know
our
groups
that
started
years
and
years
ago,
like
oldsmar,
cares
and
stuff
having
hugely
successful
events.
Otb
fun
run
by
brenda
hatfield
has
extremely,
but
they
all
have
a
lot
more
time
under
their
belt.
So
I
feel
like
we're
really
still
kind
of
in
our
infancy,
trying
to
sustain
what
we've
got
and
grow
for
our
future.
B
E
Just
general
discussion,
I
I'm
of
course
wary,
as
I'm
sure
we
all
are
of
you
know,
creating
a
precedent
for
nonprofits
coming
back
after
the
budget
cycle
has
commenced.
You
know
for
an
amendment
to
an
outside
entity,
not
an
internal
budget
amendment
to
account
for
something
that's
happened
within
the
city,
but
I
am
in
favor
of
this
particular
request
due
to
the
the
budget
cycle,
as
outlined
in
in
the
paperwork
that
was
submitted
here,
and
I
do
think
it's
important
to
support
the
program.
E
I
would
like
to
try
to
ensure
that
whatever
the
request
is
for
this
year,
I
mean
we've
already
basically
had
our
budget
workshop,
but
for
24
25.
I
guess
that
would
be.
You
know
it
needs
to
be
right,
sized
and
maintained,
but
that's
that's
my
general
take
on
it.
Okay,.
E
J
F
Right
out
of
on
the
music
theater
international
is
in
new
york.
They
have
the
rights
for
all
the
broadway
productions,
the
disney
productions,
the
dreamworks
productions,
and
they
are
very
tight.
They
we
get
about
a
15-page
contract
that
we
have
to
follow
very
clearly.
For
example,
our
maui
will
not
be
able
to
have
tattoos,
even
though
maui
character
has
tattoos,
because
the
licensing
states,
it's
not
appropriate,
the
hawaiians
earn
those
tattoos
and
it's
not
appropriate
for
us
to
put
them
in
tattoo
costumes.
F
So
it's
very
detailed
and
I'd
also
like
to
add.
I
would
like
to
remind
us-
we
are
a
non-profit
that
was
built
at
the
behest
of
the
city
of
oldsmar.
We
did
not
start
a
group
on
our
own
and
come
to
you
for
help.
This
was
as
as
felicia
and
I
have
talked-
I
don't
know
of
any
other
cities
that
have
a
501c
that
runs
their
performances
while
they
run
the
everyday
weekly
programs
and
it
I
think
it's
a
very
unique
relationship.
F
J
Then,
just
a
a
follow
up
based
on
on
our
memo
here.
I
guess
this
was
information
that
came
via
the
city
clerk.
So
where
specifically,
is
this
with
this
consideration
for
3
000
come
from
the
city
council
budget?
Yes,
okay,
all
right.
G
J
G
Vice
mayor
yeah,
I
I
had
the
same
concerns
about
setting
a
precedent,
but
you
know
looking
at
the
memo
and
seeing
what's
going
on
it's
it's
getting
ahead
of
the
curve.
It
seems
like
we've
been
behind
it
a
little
bit
with
this
program
and
being
a
city
run
program
and
everything
else.
I
think
this
is
good
for
the
arts,
it's
good
for
our
citizens.
The
money
goes
right
back
into
oldsmar.
L
I
think
it's
worthwhile
and,
as
everybody
had
said,
I
think
this
is
once
you
know
in
the
future
we're
going
to
understand
a
little
bit
more
of
the
cost
going
forward.
It's
come
to
us
now
comes
to
us
again,
we'll
see,
but
in
terms
of
supporting
the
initiative,
always
been
a
huge
supporter
of
the
arts.
I
understand
it
the
way
that
it
was
laid
out.
I
think
they're,
coming
in
good
faith,
explaining
everything
that's
going
on
giving
us
information,
that's
factual
and
so
again
I
believe
it
to
be
worthwhile.
B
B
I
just
have
a
hard
time
commit
I'm
committing
to
another
three
thousand
dollars
after
we
approve
the
october
first
six
thousand,
but
I
understand
you're
working
hard
for
the
children
of
our
city
and
it
is
important
that
we
do
have
an
art
program.
So
I
don't
have
a
problem
with
this,
but
it's
coming
up
in
the
future.
I
think
that
it
might
be
nice
for
you
to
approach
us
or
maybe
individually
and
talk
about
it
before
it
comes
to
a
council
agenda
item.
Would
that
be
okay
with
you.
F
I
F
Will
make
a
point
to
make
sure
I
include
the
mayor
as
well
when
I'm
asking
about
these
opportunities
and
you're,
referring
to
the
just
approved
6000?
Is
that
the
one
coming
up
in
october
or.
F
October
2021
6
000.,
no,
the
new
budget,
okay,
okay,
all
right
so
and
that's
been
part
of
the
dilemma.
I
don't
think
we'll
see
that
money
prior
to
the
show
which
in
essence,
left
the
city
of
oldsmar
as
a
non-sponsor
of
the
october
show
because,
unfortunately,
we
started
in
october,
it
was
the
wrong
timing.
If
we
had
started
in
april,
I
think
we
would
have
been
on
the
budget
schedules
from
the
start,
but
we
took
over
in
october.
F
F
Those
funds,
as
I've
noted,
would
go
through
to
the
april
2023
and
the
october
23
23
carrying
us
through
this
gap,
problem
that
was
created
now,
so
that
will
pay
for
the
minimal
lights
and
sound
and
microphones
and
the
script.
That's
basically,
as
I
outlined
what
we
use
the
city
funds
for
for
those
two
shows
next
year.
Okay,.
F
F
My
results,
because
I
do
try
to
get
to
everybody
all
right.
Is
there
any
other
discussion.
G
F
H
B
D
D
They
would
come
over
here
and
we
would
go
over
there.
It
was
an
incredible
incredible
situation.
They
had
art
shows
over
here
with
their
from
their
art
department
and
through
all
this.
D
D
Also,
I
was
a
not
a
gangster,
but
I
was
something
like
that.
F
B
D
D
D
D
D
F
We
used
to
have
60
programs
a
year
in
the
performing
arts
with
piano
photography,
music,
all
kinds
of
things,
we'd
love
to
see
us
get
back
to
that.
D
B
All
right,
the
next
item
on
the
agenda
is
our
community
redevelopment
agency
and
that
will
be
item
number
two
help
taken
care
of
by
our
city
manager,
felicia,
donnelly.
K
B
M
I
appreciate
being
here
tonight
and
while
I
get
hooked
up,
that
your
I.t
person
told
me
that
I
needed
to
use
my
own
computer
because
there's
an
issue
back
there,
so
you
might
need
to
use
yours
as
well
when
it's
time,
let's
see,
let's
see
if
this
comes
up.
M
Great
okay,
now
I
can
start.
I
want
to
start
just
just
30
seconds
not
to
pile
on
all
these
other
comments,
but
it's
it's
so
wonderful
to
come
to
a
city,
and
you
know
I've.
I've
been
sitting
in
the
room
here
now
for
15
minutes,
and
you
know
it's
it's
little
league
and
I
coached
little
league
and
was
on
a
board
of
directors
for
12
years.
I
I've
got
a
daughter,
who's
big
into
musical
theater
and
went
through
the
same
kind
of
all.
M
The
junior
shows
with
a
company
called
shine
in
the
limelight,
the
police
fire
career
public
servant.
M
There's
I
mean
these
are
all
just
wonderful
character
things
and
the
one
thing
I
would
say
about
you
know
sort
of
the
linkage
between
something
like
little
league
and
the
performing
arts
and
to
the
point
that
was
made
earlier
about
you
know.
Children
is
you
know,
I
think,
any
time
you
have
to
work
as
a
team
and
anytime.
You
have
to
prepare
something
and
then
present
it
to
other
folks.
M
It's
just
heartwarming
to
see
you
know
all
this
kind
of
community
spirit
around
each
other
and
particularly
around
the
kids,
and
so
now,
I'm
in
a
situation
where
I
had
to
prepare
something,
and
now
I
have
to
present
it
so
shows
on
what
what
I,
what
I
want
to
do
today
is
just
give
you
a
a
summary
of
what
we
covered
in
the
workshop,
how
we
think
that
relates
to
some
words
that
we
think
would
be
important
to
help
any
outside
entity
that
might
want
to
do
development
on
the
site.
M
We're
going
to
talk
about
help
them
understand,
what's
important
to
the
old,
smart
community
and
then
I'm
sure
there'll
be
some
conversation.
M
M
What
I
what
I
want
to
do
today
is
I
I
want
to
kind
of
review
what
those
workshop
activities
were
for
folks
that
are
here
and
anyone
that's
online
that
maybe
wasn't
able
to
attend
and
kudos
to
the
I.t
communications
department.
M
They
turned
that
around
and
had
it
on
youtube,
it
was
beautifully
edited
and
then
I
want
to
get
to
sort
of
how
we
documented
the
community
input
and
how
we
translated
the
community
input
into
some
words
that
we
think
actually
mean
something
you
know
both
to
the
community
and
as
well
as
to
anyone
from
the
outside
that
might
read
them
and
then
kind
of.
What's
next,
so
we
had
over
100
100
participants.
M
In
the
july
20
workshop,
we
had
about
89
90
that
were
there
in
person
and
we
had
10
or
15
online.
So
it
was
a
tremendous
showing
and
I've
got
two
photos
here.
You
can
see
I
as
I
was
watching
people
come
in,
I
had
to
walk,
they
were
out
the
door
at
the
hotel,
so
we
knew
we
were
in
for
an
action-packed
evening.
M
The
way
that
we
approached
this
workshop
was
to
try
to
you
know
when
you
have
this.
Many
people
and
people
are
so
passionate
about
their
community
and
it
is
a
character
community
and
it's
a
tight-knit
community.
You
know
it's
it's
hard
to
just
say:
well
what
should
we
do
and
that?
Because,
then,
you
get
a
thousand
answers,
and
so
we
were
trying
to
sort
of
ask
people
similar
questions
in
different
ways
and
see
where
the
overlaps
were
and
see.
M
M
What
what
characteristics
you
know
when
you
think
of
oldsmar
as
a
you
know,
as
a
participant
in
this
workshop,
what
characteristics
are
most
important
to
you
about
oldsmar?
What
what
do
you
want
to
protect
about
oldsmar?
What
do
you
want
to
enhance
an
oldsmar
and
what
what?
What
is
a
town
center
to
you?
What
does
that
word
mean
just
without
any?
You
know
predisposition
or
any
sort
of
coloring
of
the
discussion
you
know
by
by
any
of
us
as
a
team.
M
Just
what
do
people
say
when,
when
you
use
those
words
and
and
so
that
that
right
there
was
like
a
really
important
kind
of
first
cut
of
input
in
terms
of
just
understanding,
community
values,
kind
of
over
and
above
kind
of
the
the
matter
at
hand
which
we
know
has
been
much
debated.
You
know
the
the
town
center
site
after
we
after
we
got
that
input,
we
we
did
go
through
a
presentation
and-
and
you
know,
I'm
not
going
to
recast
that
now.
M
We
looked
at
it
kind
of
in
the
context
of
the
surrounding
city,
including
you
know
the
planned
community,
the
traditional
oldsmar
that
we
all
think
of
from
the
original
1927
plan,
but
also
you
know
the
the
properties
north
of
tampa,
road
and
and
so
forth,
and
so
on
things
that
are
kind
of
within
a
10-minute
walk.
M
And
then
we
kind
of
talked
about
it,
a
little
bit
just
sort
of
in
the
context
of
the
region
and
kind
of
what
what
regional
growth
kind
of
looks
like
and
and
just
different
ways
of
sort
of
thinking
about,
the
the
qualities
of
the
site,
the
characteristics
of
the
site,
opportunities
challenges
and
so
forth
that
the
site
offers
we
didn't
spend
a
lot
of
time.
M
It
allows
a
certain
density
of
hotel,
a
certain,
far
of
commercial,
and
it
allows
six
stories
for
that
commercial
and
essentially,
the
work
that
you
did
earlier
this
year
really
did
just
a
couple
of
things.
It
just
said
you
know
instead
of
building
the
whole
site
out.
As
you
know,
I
mean
right
now.
You
could
build
the
whole
site
out
as
commercial
at
six
stories
in
in
your
current
zoning.
M
What
this
does
is.
It
allows
for
a
little
bit
more
residential,
a
little
bit
more
hotel
units,
so
you
could
get
to
kind
of
one
of
the
conventional
kind
of
models
for
a
hotel
flag
that
would
that
would
be
a
good
manager
of
a
hotel.
But
if
you
want
to
get
to
any
of
those
things,
you
have
to
do
some
performance
measures
in
terms
of
architecture
and
there's
some
things
about
stepping
the
building
back
and
so
forth,
and
so
on.
M
So
really
we
we
try
to
kind
of
just
characterize
that
it
was
a.
It
seems
like
a
lot.
I
know
there's
a
lot
of
discussion
about
that
overlay,
but
it
really
just
did
a
couple
of
things
it
just.
It
just
said
what,
if
we
could
trade
out
some
of
the
commercial
density
and
intensity
for
residential
instead,
that's
that's
essentially
what
it
did
and
and
if
you
want
to
do
that,
we
want
some
design
characteristics
to
come
with
that.
M
So
what
are
so
so
at
that
point
we
really
didn't
want
to
debate
and
discuss
anymore
about
about
this.
We
really
wanted
to
get
to
the
heart
of
well.
If
you
did,
if
you
did
a
town
center,
you
know
what
what
would
it
be?
There's
a
lot
of
debate
about.
You
know
some
words
and
some
numbers
you
know
in
the
ordinance,
but
but
to
our
way
of
thinking.
M
You
know
the
the
real
question
is:
you've
got
this
really
pretty
large,
ideally
situated
piece
of
property:
that's
vacant
you've
spent
money
to
purchase
it
assemble
it
it's
here
on
state
street,
which
is
the
traditional
kind
of
town
center
street
for
the
original
oldsmar
plan.
And
the
question
really
is
you
know
you
know
we
if
there's
anything
that
we
kind
of
steered
people
on
as
we
we
didn't
say
we're
not
going
to
talk
about.
Let's
not
build
anything,
let's
like.
M
How
would
you
describe
it?
What
would
what
would
be
the
performance
aspects
of
that
town
center?
So
we
asked
people
questions
like
what
experiences
would
your
town
center
include?
What
would
be
the
character
and
appearance
of
the
town
center?
What
would
be
some
of
the
livability
types
of
things
that
have
to
do
with
it
and
how
can
town
centers
support
your
local
economy
and
your
competitive
edge
within
the
region
as
a
community
of
choice?
M
M
This
is
this
is
a
part
that
I
want
to
be
really
really
clear
about,
because
this
is
the
part.
I
I
really
it's
very
important
to
us,
as
the
community
solutions
group
of
gai,
which
I'm
the
director
of
it's
really
important
to
us,
that
we
that
we
have
integrity
in
our
work
and
that
we
are
faithful
communicators
of
what
we
think
we
have
heard
and
how
to
help
kind
of
guide
the
community
through
complex
decisions,
and
that
starts
by
trust
and
transparency.
M
M
I
love
the
heartbeat
of
the
city,
there's
just
some
great
little
things
in
here:
a
walkable
town
center
available
to
lounge
linger
and
gather
a
place
that
connects
people
there's
just
some
wonderful
little
words
and
phrases
in
here,
but
it's
hard
to
capture
it
all
when
you've
got
a
stack
of
paper
that
thick,
so
we
actually
scanned
everything
and
we
transcribed
all
of
it.
Just
word
for
word
and
we
just
created
lists
so
for
each
exercise.
You
end
up
with
a
list.
M
So
so
then,
at
that
point
you,
you
know
what
do
you
do
with
all
these
bullet
points?
And
so
it's
really
simple
in
word.
You
can
cut
and
paste
things
and
move
them
around
right.
So
you
go
to
the
first
thing
and
somebody
makes
a
comment
about
parks.
You
say:
okay,
first
category,
one
parks
and
you
put
that
comment
underneath
it.
M
You
know
we
would
start
grouping
things
and
the
things
that
that
kind
of
seemed
to
have
the
most
comments.
You
know
we
would.
I
would
move
that
to
the
top.
So
so
we
kind
of
have
a
sense
of
kind
of.
What's
weighted,
you
know.
What's
what
are
the?
What
are
the
things
that
that
almost
everybody's
talking
about
and
what
comes
in
second
and
what
comes
in
third
and
so
forth,
and
so
on.
M
So
we
really
went
through
the
the
effort
to
try
to
transcribe
and
understand
the
words
that
were
there,
both
the
things
that
were
said
that
evening.
But
but
really
you
know
when
people
write
stuff
down,
it's
it's
it's
great
because
then
you
can.
You
can
just
work
directly
with
the
words
so
to
kind
of
dive
into
the
discussion
for
the
night.
You
know
we
want
to
talk
about
sort
of
the
outcomes.
You
know
what
what
is
what
what
are
we
here?
M
What
do
we
think
it
means,
so
we
have
an
assignment
to
try
to
draft
some
vision,
mission,
kind
of
goal,
statements
that
that
could
be
used
in
a
solicitation
for
a
letter
of
interest
and
I'll
describe
in
a
minute
what
a
letter
of
interest
is
and
how
it's
different
from
a
request
for
proposal,
but
just
to
transcribe
these
words
and
so
the
vision
statements.
M
You
got
a
lot,
you
get
a
lot
of
sentence,
fragments
and
it's
hard
to
kind
of,
take
all
that
and
do
something
you
know
neat
with
all
of
those
comments,
so
we
have
to
sort
of.
We
have
to
sort
of
transcribe
that
a
little
bit
with
our
own
voice
to
try
to
capture
the
major
ideas
that
we
think
we're
hearing.
So
there's
a
little
bit
of
authorship
on
this
on
our
part,
but
we
think
all
of
these
words
and
ideas
come
directly
from
the
things
that
folks
wrote.
M
So
as
a
draft
vision
statement,
we
would
say,
oldsmar's
town
center
will
be
a
special
place
that
deepens
the
community's
identity,
acknowledging
its
historic
character
while
sensitively
incorporating
a
contemporary
mix
of
residential,
commercial,
civic
and
public
open
space
uses.
It
will
be
a
place
that
connects
people
within
an
aesthetically,
exciting
destination
for
young
and
old
alike,
while
providing
new
economic
opportunity
for
oldsmar.
M
M
We
want
it
to
acknowledge
the
identity
and
character
of
this
place.
We
want
sensitive
design,
we're
interested
in
contemporary
ideas,
but
we
want
things
to
be
in
character
with
oldsmar
and
we
want.
We
want
things
that
integrate
these
different
uses.
There's
actually
a
lot
kind
of
baked
into
this
paragraph
and
if
I'm
a
developer
or
an
architect
or
a
designer,
I
can
read
into
this.
It's
like
okay,
I
understand
what
they
want.
You
know
from
the
standpoint
of
you
know
they
don't
want
what
we
did
in
every
other
town.
They
want
something.
M
That's
a
direct
response
to
oldsmar.
Tell
me
more!
So
here
comes
more
so
underneath
the
division
we
wrote
a
mission.
The
mission
is
to
develop
the
eight-acre
publicly
owned
site
through
exemplary
planning
and
public
support
to
generate
an
aesthetically
pleasing,
economically
sustainable
iconic
town
center
destination.
Again
this
is
a
word
that
was
used
a
lot
by
the
public
for
residents,
customers
and
visitors
through
a
variety
of
experience
and
places
and
and
specifically
the
town
center.
M
The
what
that
means
is
these
bullets,
underneath
we
think
that
we
think,
based
on
what
we
heard,
that
the
town
center
needs
to
be
a
shared
community
asset
that
is
a
relevant
gathering
place
for
the
entire
community.
It's
not
it's,
not
somebody's
private
development.
M
It
needs
to
be
a
character
place
that
is
sensitively
designed
with
both
the
historic
neighborhoods
in
mind,
as
well
as
the
fact
that
you're
on
a
regional
road
have
that
in
mind.
You
should
be
coming
down
tampa
and
arriving
in
oldsmar
and
there's
an
opportunity
on
the
tampa
side
to
say:
hey
we're.
We
we've
arrived
somewhere,
you
know,
but
there's
also
an
opportunity
on
the
state
street
side
to
have
something.
That's
much
more
intimate
and
much
more
in
character
with
with
this
traditional
community.
M
M
We
want
things
to
be
economically
vibrant,
so
there's
living
and
shopping
and
working
and
there's
civic
uses
and
there's
local
events
and
things
happening
in
the
street
and
things
happening
in
public
open
space
and
we
want
it
to
be
walkable,
safe
and
inviting-
and
I
think
that's
that's
again-
this
word
destination,
you
know,
I
can't
tell
you
how
many
folks
wrote
something
down
that
you
know
we
wish.
M
We
didn't
always
have
to
go
to
safety,
harbor
or
dunedin,
and
I
only
say
those
two
names
because
they
were
written
like
15
times
you
know.
So
I
think
I'm
probably
not
surprising
anyone
in
the
room
by
saying
that
you
know
people
want
a
place,
that's
oldsmar,
but
it's
not
about
you,
know,
reconstructing
something.
That's
from
somewhere
else,
it's
about.
What's
the
right,
what's
what's
oldsmar's
idea
of
a
town
center,
you
know,
that's
that's
right
for
here
and
it
should
be
a
destination,
but
what
I
always
say
about
destinations.
M
I
work
in
cities
all
over
the
eastern
u.s
and
I
always
get
this
question
of
you
know.
Are
you
designing
for
visitors?
Are
you
designing
for
the
locals
and
the
answer
is
so
simple:
you're
always
designing
for
the
locals,
because
and
and
and
that's
not
just
pandering
to
the
locals,
it's
it's
it's
easy
sociology.
M
You
know
when
you
go
to
places
like
savannah,
for
instance
or
charleston,
you
go
there
to
sort
of
experience,
how
savannans
live
and
what
they
eat
and
what
they
do.
You
know
you're
not
there
to
go
to
the
gap
or
go
to
a
chain.
Restaurant
you're
there
to
sort
of
do
it
the
way
they
do
it
right.
So
so
the
visitation
you
know
thing
always
kind
of
takes
care
of
itself
as
long
as
the
place
is
locally
authentic
and
relevant
to
the
people
that
are
actually
there.
M
That's
what
those
those
are
the
places
you
want
to
go
visit.
You
know
nobody.
Nobody
ever
went
to
savannah
to
go
to
the
mall.
You
know
they
went
to
savannah
to
to
pretend
for
a
couple
of
days
that
they
lived
as
if
they
were
in
savannah
right.
So
let
me
keep
going.
Let
me
let
me
get
down
to
these
kind
of
values.
These
are
things
again.
This
is.
This
is
really
coming,
I
think,
very
directly
from
the
input
that
we
got
and
I
think
these
values
we're
digging
a
little
deeper
here.
M
M
The
the
small
town
family-friendly
feel
that
we
just
heard
at
the
opening
of
this
meeting
is
what
this
town
is
about,
and
that
is
highly
valued
people
value,
attractive
places
where,
where
they
can
come
together-
and
there
was
there
was
a
gentleman
in
the
meeting
that
had
a
fairly
funny
thing
to
say
about.
You
know
we're
good
at
standing
in
the
park.
You
know,
but
we
need
an
alternative
place
to
go.
Do
our
thing
I
won't.
I
won't
put
the
full
sentence
on
there,
but
you
can.
M
You
can
probably
imagine
if
you,
if
you
heard
the
youtube
which
which
I
do
that
stuff
too
right,
but
you
know,
sort
sort
of
an
alternative
experience
to
to
what
you
can
do
in
your
great
park
system.
You
want
to
recognize
and
promote
the
importance
of
arts
and
culture.
You
want
to
support
creating
opportunity
for
sustainable
growth.
M
M
You
know
for
and-
and
you
understand
that
when
you
go
into
certain
places
you
know
like
when
you
come
into,
you
know
certain
types
of
character
places.
You
know
you
know
it's
like
whoa,
I
better
slow
way
down.
This
is
not.
This
is
not
a
car
place.
You
know,
and
I
think
that's
I
think,
that's
what
we
want.
Whatever
the
solutions
are
to
transportation
and
access
for
this
price
for
this
project
and
then
celebrating
the
historic
legacy
and
a
lot
of
people
said,
you
know
why:
don't
we?
M
Why
don't
we
put
the
oldsmobile
thing
out
there
a
little
bit
more
and
there?
So
there
were
ideas
about
you,
know,
sort
of
the
history
of
the
city
and
and
so
forth.
So
now
I
get
down
to
things
that
are
these
are
these
are
really
just
direct
paraphrases
and
I'm
really
getting
into
the
weeds
here,
but
I'm
almost
done,
but
I
want
to.
I
want
to
get
these
on
the
record,
because
I
want
the
folks
that
are
watching
this
and
so
forth
to
see
the
transcription.
M
We've
really
shifted
from
maybe
kind
of
an
artful
statement
that,
where
we
maybe
took
some
poetic
license
to
sort
of
craft
the
vision
statement
and
then
somewhere
in
the
middle
there's
a
transition
where
we're
getting
more
literal
with
what
we
heard
from
the
public
and
now
we're
getting
super
literal.
These
are
these
are
the
exercises.
You
know
what
experiences
do
you
want
to
have
you
know,
etc,
etc,
and
so
this
is
literally
us
just
taking
all
of
those
data
and
all
those
word
entries
moving
them
around
stacking
them
up
and
saying.
M
Okay,
this
is
what
people
want
to
do.
People
want
an
authentic
small
town
destination
that
is
regularly
active.
They
want
a
place
that
is
mixed
use
and
connected
residential
with
diverse
local
businesses.
Ice
cream,
coffee
pubs,
dining
shopping,
a
close
linkage
to
the
local
government.
I
think
people
feel
good
about
their
local
government
here
and
so
having
all
that
together.
That's
that's
the
experience
of
a
town
center.
It
should
be
family
friendly.
M
It
should
be
pet
friendly,
a
place
to
linger
and
enjoy
the
scenery
socializing
in
conversations
a
place
with
urban
park,
amenities
table,
games,
dance,
music,
there's
a
lot
of
discussion
about
music.
I
wish
we
could
go
somewhere
and
hear
some
music
and
have
a
cup
of
coffee
or
you
know,
have
an
adult
beverage
or
something
in
between
an
ice
cream,
cone,
a
place
for
events
and
community
celebrations,
shade
and
comfort,
big
trees
and
soft
lighting.
M
So
we
really
want
to
dial
the
sun
down
and
then
we
want
to
in
the
evening
we
want
to
have
soft
lighting.
That's
that's
thoughtfully,
put
together
opportunities
for
distinct
views,
including
even
the
idea
that
there
might
be
something
where
you
can
maybe
get
up
to
a
second
level
like
a
rooftop
restaurant
type
of
thing
and
kind
of
see
out
across
the
tree
line,
maybe
even
see
the
bay
easy
for
the
community
to
access
by
foot
golf
cart
or
bike
and
safe
for
walking
with
very
slow
traffic.
I
mean
that
is
to
that
safety.
M
M
So
this
idea
of
a
clean,
unified
architecture
that
blends
old,
tampa
historic
materials
and
southern
cool
charm.
So
there
are
all
sorts
of
architectures
out
there
that
actually
are
kind
of
slightly
contemporary
takes
on
newer
development
but
they're
using
some
traditional
materials.
Some
traditional
proportions
and
scales
window
glazing.
How
how
awnings
and
and
you
know,
step
step
backs
and
corners
details
and
those
types
of
things
are
handled.
We
don't
want
something
that
you
know.
M
Sometimes
people
will
take
the
russian
wall
and
they'll
do
maybe
a
couple
bumps
on
it
and
then
they'll
paint
sections
of
it
different
colors
or
give
it
like.
This
is
a
mediterranean
revival
and
then
we've
got
a
brick
and
then
we've
got
a
stone
thing
and
then
we've
got
some
other
stucco
thing
here
and
then
we're
back
to
the
mediterranean
revival
on
the
end.
That
to
me
is
highly
contrived
and
that's
not
what
people
want
they
want
something
that
is
a
clean,
composed
piece
of
architecture
that
makes
sense.
M
They
want
an
arrival
image
on
tampa
road.
That's
architecturally,
interesting
and
not
monolithic
human
scale,
architecture,
that's
compatible
with
the
neighborhoods
to
the
south.
So
I
think
there
is
some
kind
of
a
some
kind
of
a
step
down
or
or
breakdown
of
the
buildings.
As
you
get
closer
to
state
quaint,
charming,
welcoming
on
state
with
shade
trees,
flower
colors
planters
a
place,
that's
multi-generational,
socially
active,
but
but
it
shouldn't
impact
the
neighborhoods
at
night,
which
I
think
gets
again
to
a
little
bit
of
idea
about
management.
M
K
M
Again,
you
see
words
like
quaint
one
of
the
things
that
someone
said
that
was
interesting,
which
is
a
whole
another
rabbit
hole
for
another
day,
but
the
idea
of
a
marketable
image
you
know
there
is.
There
is
an
opportunity
here
on
state
street
to
really
create
something
that
is
a
brand
sort
of
a
brand
for
oldsmar
to
sort
of
advance
the
brand
of
old
smar.
M
I
have
some
ideas
about
how
that
could
be
done,
but
ultimately
that's
a
question
for
another
day
and
then
and
then
you
know
green
space,
environmental
features
as
a
as
a
performance
thing,
improved
safety
and
and-
and
there
were
some
really
a
couple
of
really
good
comments
about
having
some
sort
of
a
management
structure
for
programming
and
coordinating
how
the
town
center
is
used.
If,
if
it
does,
indeed
include
public
open
space
and
which
could
also
include
the
street,
I
think
I
think
it.
M
I
think
there's
a
lot
of
discussion
about
the
the
building's
public
square,
kind
of
kind
of
urban
open
space
that
is
connected
to
the
street
and
it
all
is
kind
of
one
place,
so
that
will
need
some
kind
of
a
management
structure
that
could
be
a
partnership
between
the
city
and
the
development
entity
or
what
have
you
and
then
finally
competitive
edge?
We
talked
a
lot
about
that.
There's
people
that
you
know
there's
high-wage
jobs
in
oldsmar,
but
you
know
the
single-family
home,
isn't
always
the
right
answer
for
everybody.
M
There's
also
people
that
are
you
know,
maybe
are
aging
out
of
their
home
and
would
like
to
get
into
something
that
that
doesn't
require
all
of
that
square
footage,
and
all
of
you
know
the
maintenance
and
everything
that
comes
with
it,
and
they
want
to
be
kind
of
in
the
middle
of
the
action
where
you
can
kind
of
go
downstairs,
and
so
it's
really
both
ends.
It's
it's!
It's
it's
it's
young
employment,
but
it's
also,
you
know
living
opportunities
for
folks
that
are
in
the
boomer
generation.
M
Quite
frankly,
it's
an
opportunity
to
build
tax
revenues
that
can
benefit
the
city
and
other
things
that
you're
trying
to
do
within
the
neighborhoods.
We
certainly
heard
that
tonight
I
mean
you're
sitting
on
a
really
valuable
piece
of
property
and,
of
course,
whatever
transaction
you
do
right
off.
The
bat
is
sort
of
one
thing,
but
the
long-term
kind
of
tax
generation
possibilities
of
a
property
that
right
now
is
generating.
M
Nothing
is
pretty
substantial,
so
I
think
that's
something
to
think
about,
and
just
you
know-
and
I
think
at
the
end
of
the
day,
people
just
want
a
nice
place
for
the
residents
and
just
market
it
well,
and
the
visitation
thing
will
take
care
of
itself.
That's
that's
really
what
we
that's
really
what
I
think
we
heard.
So
the
immediate
goal
is
to
recognize
and
incorporate
these
ideas
with
a
letter
of
interest
that
expresses.
You
know
these
kind
of
layers
of
information.
M
I
think
some
of
those
real
detailed
things
probably
go
in
the
back
of
the
letter.
I
think
the
vision
and
the
mission
probably
go
in
the
front
and
then
in
the
middle
is
kind
of
the
parameters
of
what
we're
asking
people
to
respond
to
what
a
letter
of
interest
is.
Is
it's
really
a
methodology
to
put
put
the
message
out
to
the
community
to
the
development
community?
M
I
mean
there's
some
at
some
point,
somebody's
going
to
have
to
say
here's
how
we
have
achieved
this
thing
that
you
said
in
your
mission
or
vision
or
one
of
your
goal
objectives
or
whatever
right
and
the
people
that
just
aren't
interested
in
that
they're.
Just
they
they
shouldn't
respond
or
they
could
respond,
and
you
can
you
can
discard
them.
So
I'm
I've
got
a
really
detailed
schedule
here.
M
I
think
the
schedule-
probably
you
know
you
know
how
schedules
go,
but
the
idea
is
is
is
to
come
back
to
you
with
a
draft
letter
of
interest
actually
coming
to
this
group
on
this
body
by
september
6th
and
there's
some
steps
that
we
would
take
in
the
interim
to
get
some
draft
letter
of
interest
language
written
that
can
be
reviewed
internally
with
staff
and
with
legal
and
and
so
forth,
but
come
back
to
you
with
with
a
letter
of
interest
that
that
could
be
taken
out
to
the
development
community.
M
That
says,
you
know
here's
what
oldsmar
is
looking
to
do
who's
who's
interested
in
playing
ball
according
to
these
rules,
and
then
I
think,
there's
a
process
of
interacting
with
prospective
folks
that
may
have
questions
where
we
can
maybe
explain
some
of
this
material.
They
should
all
watch
the
workshop
video.
You
know,
I'm
sure
they
will.
M
We
want
to
get
the
letter
of
interest
back
by
the
14th
of
october
so
that
we
can
take
some
time
and
review
the
lois
identify
who
the
preferred
candidates
are
and
possibly
do
an
interim
update
to
this
body
so
that
you
understand
kind
of
you
know
how
the
process
is
going
and
what
kind
of
folks
have
submitted
a
letter
of
interest.
M
We
ultimately
want
to
get
to
a
november
eighth
meeting
and,
of
course,
we're
going
by
your
calendar
dates
of
meetings.
Here,
that's
one
of
the
kind
of
structures
that
we
have
to
kind
of
adhere
to
we're,
thinking
that,
on
november
8th,
we
can
be
in
position
to
submit
recommended
next
steps
for
city
council
with
recommended
loi
candidates
that
that
you
could
proceed
with
and
then
I
think,
proceeding,
there's
a
couple
of
different
ways
that
you
could
choose
to
proceed.
M
We
anticipate
that
you
will
probably
take
the
letter
of
interest
you'll
get
down
to
some
small
group
of
developers
and
then
you'll
have
a
more
detailed
request
for
proposal
that
will
have
more
precise
language
in
there
about
maybe
certain
aspects
of
the
financial
deal.
What
you're
willing
to
maybe
partner
on
what
you're,
maybe
not
willing
to
partner
on
what
your
needs
are
specifically
with
the
disposition
of
the
land?
M
So
so,
and
then,
and
then
folks
would
come
back
with
actually
detailed
drawings,
a
detailed
program
and
a
detailed
financial
offer,
and
then
that
would
be
evaluated
now.
The
only
caveat
that
I
put
in
there
is
that
it
is
possible
that
the
loi
process
becomes
so
clear.
M
You
know
three
or
four
or
five
that
that
look
really
interested
and
they
say
they're
really
committed
and
they've
got
all
these
great
examples
that
they've
done
and
you
go
through
the
traditional
rfp
process
at
the
beginning
of
the
year
and
you
try
to
get
them,
try
to
get
someone
selected
and
negotiated
by
april
of
next
year
and
and
get
moving,
that's
the
plan.
M
So
that's
the
whole
of
my
presentation.
I
have
no
idea
how
long
I
just
went
five
minutes.
B
B
Yeah
wonderful
job,
thank
you!
Alicia,
okay,
yeah,
great
great
job!
Thank
you.
So
much
we're
gonna
keep
moving
forward.
So
I'm
gonna
entertain
a
motion
to
approve
the
vision
and
the
mission,
value
and
goals
for
the
city-owned
property
adjacent
adjacent
to
city
hall
to
be
used
in
the
letter
of
interest.
Do
I
have
a
motion?
I
have
a
motion.
Do
I
have
a
second
second?
Okay,
let's
open
it
up
for
discussion,
we're
going
to
start
down
here,
councilman
graber!
Do
you
have
anything
you'd
like
to
discuss.
L
Thank
you
mayor
and
thank
you
pete.
I
did
watch
the
video
and
being
able
to
read
what
was
written
and
you
captured
what
I
had
hoped
to
see
when
we
initially
discussed
moving
forward
with
this
visioning
workshop.
L
Take
the
information
summarize
it
see
the
common
themes,
some
of
the
common
themes
that
I
just
that
popped
out
were
connects
gathering,
inviting
socializing
gather
conversations
welcoming
destination,
live
and
play.
You
could
see
some
of
that
as
everybody
was
having
those
discussions
like
you
said
it
was
more
about
characteristics
right.
There
was
more
in
terms
of
a
general
approach
of
what
is
it
that
we
want
to
see.
L
What
is
it
that
we're
actually
requesting
and-
and
I
know
in
my
experience
on
council-
I
don't
believe-
we've
done
that
before
so
I
thought
it
was
very
worthwhile
and
I
certainly
appreciate
your
entire
team's
efforts.
Essentially,
it
was,
let's
take
a
step
back,
let's
refocus,
let's
have
a
little
bit
more
information.
L
A
lot
more
information
in
this
case
with
over
100
people
and
see
if
to
see
it
put
in
to
this
format,
was
very
helpful,
and
so
I
think
the
information
that
was
provided
was
exactly
what
I
was
looking
for
when
when
we
decided
to
move
forward.
So
it's
wonderful.
Thank
you.
Fantastic.
L
Hi
pam
settle
439
lakeview
drive
going
back
two
years.
This
is
what
I
was
hoping
to
see.
I
was
at
this
workshop.
Some
of
those
were
my
ideas,
and
that
was
my
sheet
up
on
the
screen.
Our
table
worked
really
hard,
as
did
all
of
the
tables,
and
I
think
everybody
had
the
same
vision.
So
there
were
what
12
tables,
maybe
14
tables
of
people,
and
as
people
were
talking
about
what
their
vision
was
for
the
city.
L
And
so
I
thank
you
for
stopping
and
asking
to
come
back
and
revisit
this,
so
that
people
can
maybe
relax
a
little
bit
and
think
about
how
we
can
support
any
developer.
That
comes
in
with
a
great
idea.
We
have
given
someone
a
recipe
that
may
be
really
challenging
for
them
to
produce,
but
let's
hope
that
somebody
out
there
can
really
get
a
feel
for
what
it
is.
We
can
create
and
create
something
really
beautiful
and
wonderful
here
in
upper
tampa
bay
florida.
So
thank
you.
A
I'll
be
brief,
I
can't
think
of
a
single,
more
unifying
event
than
what
you
put
together
that
night
and
he
brought
the
entire
community.
Together
there
was
such
pride
at
our
table.
We
actually
signed
our.
A
David
llewellyn
212
bengal
circle,
I've
been
in
probably
lived
in
10
places
in
last
20
years
and
have
been
to
many
of
these
presentations
and
first
you
have
a
presentation,
and
then
you
find
out.
What's
going
to
be
done,
this
gentleman
and
his
team
did
just
such
a
fantastic
job.
It
was
just
it
was.
It
was
beyond
my
imagination
and
I've.
A
A
Dave
biner
1810
high
business
court.
I
also
attended
this
and
it
was
fantastic.
One
of
the
things
that
I
thought
was
really
great
was
the
way
that
he
presented
like
explain
just
the
different
types
of
trees.
I
mean
as
silly
as
that
sounds
the
trees
can
really
make
the
difference
on
the
feel
overall
feel
of
the
downtown
center,
and
I
also
want
to
reiterate
my
idea
of
curbless.
A
I
just
think
it's
safety,
but
yeah.
I
think
the
presentation
was
great
and
we
all
really
did
have
a
lot
of
the
same
ideas
and
it
was
really
a
great
thing,
because
I
saw
people
there
from
both
sides
and
we
still
had
the
same
voice.
So
it
was
interesting
to
see
how
there
was
people
there
that
were
totally
against
it
and
people
that
were
totally
for
it,
but
the
words
all
came
out
pretty
much
exactly
the
same.
So
thank
you.
Thank.
D
Well,
two
of
us
in
this
room
has
been
through
this
over
and
over
and
over
and
over
and
over
and
over
and
over,
haven't
we
told
them.
I've
been
through
this
thing
four
times
and
the
pr.
I
don't
want
to
be
negative
about
this,
but
everything's
going
to
come
back
down
to
you,
you
you
you
and
you
I
don't
know
how
many
presentations
I've
set
through
now.
I
I
have
nothing
against
your
presentation.
I
think
it
was
pretty
good.
D
D
It
counts
before
wanted
a
presentation
on
the
beaches
down
here
in
the
shore
end
of
park
boulevard,
and
it
was
five
fifteen
thousand
dollars
and
the
two
gentlemen,
though
that
was
sitting
out
there,
we
had
already
paid
them
five
thousand.
I
understood
the
and
the
presentation
just
irritated
the
living
hell
out
of
me
and
I
told
them
that
they
weren't
gonna
get
their
money
out
of
it.
A
a
person
from
high
school
could
have
written
it.
D
It's
going
to
come
down
to
what
you
want
and
what
you
think's
out
there.
You
can
have
all
the
presentations
in
the
world.
Forty
five
thousand
dollars,
it's
not
against.
You
pay
me
forty
five
thousand
dollars
and
I'll
give
you
another
one,
and
I
got
the
experience
behind
me.
I
finally
came
to.
I
finally
came
to
the
conclusion:
put
the
whole
damn
thing
in
a
park
and
that's
not
feasible,
but
that's
what
it
comes
down
to
and
I
don't
care
who's
against
it.
D
D
D
D
B
I
Hi
mike
my
name
is
james
hummel,
1,
132,
jeff
jefferson.
I
I
saw
the
video.
It
was
an
excellent
workshop,
but
there's
one
thing
that
I
will
tell
you
that
you're
going
to
have
a
fight
on
your
hands.
I
was
in
vegas
in
1987
and
they
were
planning
this
big
development
area
and
you
guys
have
one
big
obstacle
obstacle
that
you're
going
to
have
to
fight
with
tower
tallahassee.
I
If
you
go
down
where
old
marcaire
is,
and
you
stand
down
there
on
the
sidewalk
at
five
o'clock
in
the
afternoon,
you
have
a
two-lane
road
going
into
a
one
lane.
What
I
think
you
need
to
do
before
you
even
start
building
on
this
property,
you
need
to
get
the
fdot
in
in
involved.
Now
I've
been
looking
into
this
for
a
for
a
month
and
I
talked
to
a
gentleman
up
in
town
tallahassee
and
he
suggested
that
your
city
should
do
what
they
did
in
vegas.
I
I
So
I
think
that
this
board
should
look
into
bring
in
the
fdot
and
somehow,
if
we
make
the
two
lanes
come
up
into
tampa
road,
it
will
be
a
quiet
environment.
You
know
what
I'm
saying.
I
think
we
need
to
get
the
fdot
involved
and
say
this
is
what
we
want
to
build,
let's
go
forward
and
see
if
we
can
leave
that
two
lanes
instead
of
having
a
race
track,
because
I'm
telling
you
we
stood
a
friend
of
mine,
that's
a
state
trooper.
I
B
J
J
I'm
also,
as
far
as
like
that
schedule
looks
I'm
I'm
I'm
excited
about
that,
partly
because
you
know
with
our
later
agenda
item
talking
about
increasing
town
hall
and
citizen
input.
That's
something
that's
still
important
me
to
have
established
prior
to
getting
too
far
down
the
road
in
this
new
path,
but
I
think
it's
feasible
based
on
how
things
are
lining
up
at
this
moment.
So
I'm
really
excited
to
see.
J
What's
next
and
one
one
question
I
had
actually
was
you
had
the
objectives
listed
pete
and
according
to
the
city
manager,
was
that
those
were
kind
of
more
or
less
ranked
or
or
weighted,
based
on
the
feedback
from
your
exercises.
Right
is
that
also
true
for
the
the
mission
like
the
items
listed
under
the
mission
and
the
values
are
those
also
kind
of
equally
weighted,
or
are
they
equally
weighted
or
sorted?
M
I
I
think
they,
you
know
we're
kind
of
splitting
hairs
here
a
little
bit
as
we
get
up
into
these
mission
value
things,
but
but
yeah.
I
actually
think
that
that
these
these
do
essentially
come
in
in
order
like
when
we
okay,
when
we,
when
we
you
know,
did
that
cut
and
paste
exercise.
You
know
with
with
the
word
files.
M
M
You
know
people
want
to
come
here
and
do
things
and
and
that
and
that
this
idea
of
arts
and
culture-
and
you
know
we
want
it
to
be
a
place
where
there's
you
know
interesting,
cultural
things
going
on
whether
that's
you
know
food
and
beverage
culture,
whether
that's
music,
culture,
art,
you
know
of
little
community
events,
culture,
I
mean,
I
would
say
those
top
three
things
were
the
things
that
just
kept
coming
up
over
and
over
again
cool.
B
J
E
Thank
you
mayor.
I
won't
repeat
everybody's
comments,
but
I
I
find
that
this
was
extraordinarily
worthwhile
and
extraordinarily
important.
Then,
as
mayor
beverland
said,
of
course
we're
not
interested
in
studies
for
the
sake
of
studying
things.
M
E
We
want
very
specific
deliverables
for
the
resiliency
study.
For
example,
I
mean
there
were
individual
action
items
that
could
be
executed,
and
I
like
that.
These
are
very
specific.
I
think
that
none
of
this
is
surprising.
I
think
we
all
have
a
feel
for
this.
I
think
it's
in
the
execution
where
minds
tend
to
differ
a
little
bit,
but
I
think
just
based
on
what
people
got
up
and
said
tonight
I
heard
the
word
unifying
the
same
voices.
Same
words
pride.
E
I
heard
I
signed
my
paper,
I
mean
that's,
that's
worth
it,
that's
very
worth
it
to
me
good
and
I'm
excited
to
see
what
we
get
back.
I
echo
council
member
knapp's
comments,
the
the
timeline.
We
went
through
a
little
bit
quickly,
which
is
fine.
It's
just.
E
I
wanted
to
make
sure
that
there
were
additional
and
we've
already
been
told
by
our
city
manager
and-
and
you
mentioned
already,
that
there
will
be
additional
opportunities
for
input
and
updates
and
that's
really
important,
because
I
don't
want
these
people
to
feel
like
they
came
to
this
meeting.
They
gave
this
input
they
felt
validated
and
then
right.
M
M
Financial
piece
and
there's
a
program
piece
and
there's
a
what
does
it
look
like
piece
and,
and
so
you
know,
if
we
go
down
that
road
I
mean
I,
I
would
fully
expect
that
there
would
be
you
know
the
the
proposers
would
have
to
make
presentations
and
the
public
would
get
to
see
those
for
a
period
of.
E
By
which
we
can
increase
participation
and
understanding
and
and
timelines,
so
I'm
really
happy
about
that.
This
was
exactly
what
I
was
looking
for
too
on
a
lot
of
levels.
So
I'm
grateful
that
we
took
the
time
and
spent
the
money
and
engaged
the
community
engaged
professionals
to
come
in
and
and
put
it
all
down.
You
know
boil
it
all
down
to
more
than
just
you
know
squirrel
in
a
cage
kind
of
thinking
right
we
now
we
have
it
written.
I
love
that
thank.
B
B
I
think
that
was
when
felicia
and
I
became
a
working
powerhouse
sure
the
city
her
and
I
brainstormed
that
whole
day
at
that
class
on
how
we
needed
a
vision
statement.
We
needed
a
mission
statement
and
we
needed
a
timeline
exactly
what
you
put
together
here
for
us
today
right
so
all
I
can
tell
you
is
thank
you
so
much
felicia
for
all
your
hard
work
and
what
you've
done
for
the
city
of
oldsmar
in
just
a
short
period
of
time.
B
N
M
M
This
is
going
to
help
them.
You
know
yeah
people,
people
know
you
know
it's.
You
know
what
what
good
place-making
mixed-use
development
is
all
about.
You
just
have
to
say
what
you
want,
and
I
think
hopefully
this
does
this,
and
we
gave
just
enough
examples
to
prove
that
there
are
people
actually
doing
it
and
we
need
to
find
the
right
fit
for
hearing
oldsmar.
M

Councilmember

yes,

five
public

Only
the

was
on

Okay,
then
I'm
going
to
close
the
public

I
need
a

to
approve
it's
unmoved.
I'll
put
a

all
right.
Any

B
K
City
staff
and
elected
officials
will
use
oldsmar
vision,
2043
to
guide
recommendations
and
decisions
for
the
city's
future.
The
city
of
oldsmar,
together
with
calvin
giordano
and
associates,
has
established
a
public
outreach
program
to
ensure
that
the
community
at
large
is
kept
informed
and
afforded
a
variety
of
opportunities
to
get
involved
through
the
comp
plan.
Update
process
in
conjunction
with
the
city
of
oldsmar
calvin
giordano
and
associates
has
developed
this
public
engagement
plan
for
the
city's
comp
plan.
K
K
The
public
engagement
plan
includes
a
project
timeline,
identifying
key
public
involvement,
opportunities,
proposed
methods
of
engagement
for
notification
and
information
dissemination
and
a
detailed
approach
for
planned
public
meetings,
as
well
as
for
gathering
broad-based
public
input.
It's
important
to
note
that
our
public,
that
our
comprehensive
plan
is
is
due
to
the
state
by
august
of
2023,
so
louis
cerna
is
here
to
present
some
of
the
project.
Specifics.
N
I
live
right
across
the
bridge
in
the
countryside
area.
I
spend
quite
a
bit
of
time
in
oldsmar
shopping
eating,
recreating
so
really
interested
in
this
project.
Like
you,
I
see
the
greatness
of
the
city
and
see
tremendous
potential
for
the
future
and
seeing
that
tonight
and
the
presentations
that
were
made
and
everyone
who
showed
up
so
I'm
pleased
to
present
to
you
our
public
engagement
plan.
That's
in
your
packet,
as
felicia
stated,
the
city
needs
to
update
its
comprehensive
plan
by
august
of
2023.
N
The
city
has
indicated
that
they
want
to
go
beyond
the
minimum
state
requirements
for
the
comprehensive
plan.
So
I
think
this
is
very
innovative
on
on
behalf
of
the
city.
They
want
to
ensure
that
the
comprehensive
plan
reflects
the
values
of
the
community
and
is
a
guiding
document
for
the
community
for
the
next
20
years.
N
A
lot
of
what
we're
going
to
be
doing
is
addressing
the
minimum
state
requirements,
the
hard
data
and
analysis
population,
land
use,
housing,
economic
data,
so
a
lot
of
what
we'll
be
doing
we'll
be
doing
is
involved
in
the
data
and
analysis
portion.
However,
in
addition
to
this
work,
we
will
be
working
on
implementing
a
plan
to
ensure
that
we
engage
the
public
in
this
process,
and
you
all
are
aware
of
the
importance
of
that.
N
We
started
with
a
kickoff
meeting
with
city
staff
in
on
july
7th.
We
talked
a
lot
about
the
availability
of
data,
a
lot
of
the
coordination
aspects
of
it,
but
we
also
talked
about
the
project
websites.
We
talked
about
developing
survey
questions.
We
are
going
to
be
rolling
out
a
survey
here
shortly.
We
are
going
to
be
doing
a
series
of
surveys
targeting
different
different
audiences.
N
One
of
the
things
that
staff
mentioned
is
that,
since
this
is
a
guiding
document
for
the
next
20
years,
we'd
really
like
to
encourage
the
engagement
of
younger
people
in
this
process,
because
they
will
be
the
ones
living
with
this
plan
in
the
next
20
years.
So
I
think
that's
something
we're
excited
about
so
we're
working
with
staff
on
survey,
questions
and
efforts
to
target
target
that
group.
N
Some
of
the
highlights
in
that
are
we're
going
to
be
rolling
out
the
project
website
and
a
survey,
hopefully
the
end
of
this
week.
We
wanted
to
have
this
presentation
first
and
then
shortly
we're
going
to
be
coming
before
each
of
you
and
interviewing
you
individually.
So
looking
forward
to
hearing
what
you
have
to
say,
we're
going
to
be
interviewing
staff
as
well
as
planning
board
members
and
representative
a
representative
of
the
recreation
advisory
board.
These
are
primarily
going
to
be
listening
sessions.
O
Our
city
is
experiencing
a
steady
population,
growth
and
transformations
in
the
ways
we
live,
work
play
and
get
around
to
make
the
most
of
these
opportunities
and
guide
the
way
over
the
next
20
years.
Oldmart
is
beginning
a
new
planning
effort,
oldsmar
vision.
2043
will
update
the
city
of
oldsmar's
comprehensive
plan
which
serves
as
a
blueprint
to
guide
development
of
future
residential
and
commercial
land,
uses
housing
and
conservation,
as
well
as
cultural
and
recreational
amenities,
city
staff
and
elected
officials
will
use
the
plan
to
guide
recommendations
and
decisions
for
the
city's
future
oldsmar
vision.
O
O
O
The
update
will
result
in
an
action-oriented
and
user-friendly
plan.
The
plan
will
also
meet
statutory
requirements
and
include
key
elements
and
recommendations
from
prior
studies
initiated
by
the
city,
for
example,
the
climate
resiliency
plan.
We
need
your
help
to
envision
2043
together.
Here's
how
you
can
get
involved
right
now
check
out
the
project
website
at
myoldsmar.com.
O
N
Wonderful
great
well
we're
looking
forward
to
speaking
to
each
of
you
individually,
getting
your
ideas,
but
also
taking
the
broader
community
input.
I'd
be
glad
to
answer
any
of
your
questions
or
take
any
of
your
comments.
E
You
know
I
I
appreciate
to
a
certain
extent
because
for
some
reason,
I'm
freezing
tonight-
it's
really
cold
and
I'm
cold
and
and
all
of
this
is
in
the
report-
that's
attached
to
the
agenda,
but
for
the
benefit
of
the
public.
I
did
want
to
point
out
some
of
my
favorite
parts
of
the
report
that
won't
surprise
anyone.
E
I,
the
website
and
the
methods
of
community
engagement
were
really
important
to
me.
Timely
and
adequate
notification
of
meetings,
a
variety
of
ways
to
participate,
for
example,
you've
got
listed,
of
course
the
website,
but
then
also
you
know,
bulletins,
posters,
handouts,
social
media
networks,
next
door,
instagram,
facebook,
press
releases,
experience,
oldsmar
notification,
email
list,
city
event,
calendar
updates.
I
love
the
the
video.
Tells
you
okay,
we're
gonna,
show
you
this
video
now,
but
there's
gonna
be
a
meeting
in
october.
E
You
know
that
advance
notice,
so
people
know
what's
going
on
the
other
thing
that
I
really
appreciate
is
on
the
website
and
I've
seen
previews
of
this.
But
it's
going
to
be
rolled
out,
it's
very
clear
where
we
are
and
where
we're
going,
and
I
think
that's
important
for
people
who
are
you
know
coming
in
at
the
beginning
or
stepping
in
midway.
You
know,
then
they
can
look
back
and
see
what
has
occurred.
Maybe
see
videos
of
you
know,
presentations
that
have
happened.
Community
meetings
that
have
taken
place,
I
think
that's
really
important.
E
I
love
the
goal
of
transparency
and
decision
making
coordination
with
everyone
time
for
review
at
the
end
of
it.
I
really
like
the
timeline
that
you
have
and
all
of
the
little
bullets
that
show
the
community
at-large
participation,
it's
very
clear
where
that's
going
to
happen,
and
I
noticed
that
you
have
the
city
council
on
here
as
sort
of
a
green
star
for
like
the
actual
formal
votes
that
might
take
place
at
those
junctures.
E
But
in
my
discussions
with
the
city
manager,
I
was
assured
that
there
will
be
multiple
updates
to
council
and
presentations
before
council,
even
if
there's
no
formal
vote
or
motion
required
or
anything
like
that.
So
I
really
appreciate
that
very
clear
timelines.
Clear
communication,
love
it
love
it.
Thank
you.
J
A
lot
of
what
councilmember
gannon
already
said,
I
I
my
biggest
appreciation
just
being
in
engineering
project
management.
Was
your
timeline
at
the
end
being
able
to
see
that
clearly,
it
just
gives
me
a
lot
of
comfort
there,
the
thought
of
planning
things
out
and
knowing
what's
reasonable
in
terms
of
how
those
timeline
is
going
to
cascade
forward.
I
think
goes
a
long
way
to
show
the
work
that
you've
put
into
what's
to
come.
So
thank
you.
G
Thank
you
mayor.
No,
I
love
the
way
we're
going.
I
think
all
the
projects
that
we're
doing
to
increase
community
engagement
is
there,
but
you
know
my
day-to-day
job.
G
N
G
Citizens
have
to
get
involved,
they
have
to
bring
their
voices
to
us
and
let
us
know
what
they
want.
So
it's
a
two-party
thing
we're
going
to
put
forth
as
much
effort
as
we
can
to
engage
and
communicate,
but
without
activation
by
the
residents.
There's
no
engagement,
so
I'm
hoping
to
see
how
this
will
turn
out.
Okay,
thank
you.
L
Councilman
graver
thank
you
mayor
and
thank
you
luis.
This
is
exactly
what
we've
been
discussing
is
in
order
to
get
more
opportunities
for
all
the
stakeholders
and
then
what
I
certainly
appreciated.
What
you
brought
up
was.
We
need
to
focus
on
the
younger
folks
in
the
community,
because
we're
looking
out
to
2043.,
and
so
we
had
discussed
at
a
different
workshop
about
kind
of
our
personalities,
how
we
approach
things
and
what
I
said
was.
L
What's
the
I
need
to
know
what
the
end
goal
is,
so
we
can
see
the
pieces
that
and
the
steps
that
we
need
to
take
in
order
to
achieve
it.
So
addressing
it.
This
way
was
something
that
I
appreciated
very
much,
but
I
certainly
liked
the
appreciation
appreciated
the
video
and
hey
there's
going
to
be
a
survey.
Hey
there's
going
to
be
a
meeting
in
october,
constantly
letting
folks
know
we.
We
want
that
input,
the
same
way
that
we
had
discussed
it
earlier
tonight.
So
thank
you
very
much.
B
Thank
you
all
right,
we're
in
exciting
times,
there's
a
lot
going
on.
My
lord.
We
are
on
the
move.
Thank
you
again,
felicia
for
everything
you're
doing
for
us.
I
have
a
couple
things.
I'm
looking
forward
to
my
interview,
because
I
have
a
lot
of
ideas,
a
lot
of
a
lot
of
things.
I
really
want
to
just
bounce
off
you
and
I
want
you
to
just
give
me
bounce
back
feedback
all
right.
Okay,
that's
what
I'm
looking
for.
I
got
a
lot
of
ideas
I
want
to.
My
next
question
is
from
all
the
council
members.
N
Yes,
the
plan
is
to
yeah
share
that
information
before
we
go
to
the
first
public
workshop,
perfect.

Item
number:
nine
authorize
the
city
attorney
to
prepare
ordinance,
l-u-z-22-01
osmar
track
llc,
rezoning
from
c3
commercial,
wholesale
and
warehousing
to
c2,
commercial,
general
zoning
district,
south
property.
The
entire
flea
market
is
approximately
19.46
acres
in
size
and
is
the
largest
commercial
site.
As
you
enter
the
city
limits
from
tampa
road
and
race
track
road.
For
the
last
30
years.
The
site
has
operated
as
a
flea
market
with
several,
and
actually
we
heard
today
it's
a
little
longer
than
that,
probably
more
like
40
years.
K
40
years
the
site
has
operated
as
a
flea
market,
with
several
permanent
retail
businesses
and
multiple
flea
market
weekend
booths.
The
applicant
is
proposing
to
rezone
the
southern
13.45

of
the

staff
recommends
approval
of
the
rezoning
from
c3

to
c2

general.
It's
important
to
know
that
the
site
was
previously
zoned
c2.
K
B
E
B
B
B
K
B
E
Thank
you
mayor.
I
think
it's
been
pretty
much
well
covered
tonight.
That
hey
did
you
know.
Did
you
hear?
Oldsmar
is
interested
in
your
engagement.
I'm
I'm
loving
all
of
this,
and
you
know
I'm
kind
of
I'm
kind
of
proud
that
both
of
these
items
related
to
the
comp
plan
and
related
to
the
town
center
development
were
on
the
agenda
tonight.
E
It
was
really
nice
to
see
those
happening
in
tandem,
so
thank
you
felicia
for
everything
for
for
kind
of
guiding
us
along
this
path
so
that
we
could
achieve
the
outcomes
that
we're
looking
for.
I
have
to
take
just
a
second.
I
don't
want
to
change
the
mood
entirely.
E
On
july
19th
I
gave
an
award
a
council
manager
award
at
our
meeting
to
operation,
jax
village
and
liz
martin,
and
we
talked
about
their
mission,
not
just
awareness
of
suicide
prevention
and
adolescence,
but
objectives
moving
forward
and
how
to
continue
and
grow
their
mission
to
validate
our
young
people,
who
are
looking
for
an
outlet
validate
their
feelings
and
opinions.
I
am
devastated
to
let
you
guys
know
to
the
extent
you're
not
already
that
a
16
year
old,
rising
senior
at
east
lake
high
school
took
her
life
three
days
before
school
started
on
august
7th.
E
E
She
leaves
behind
a
brother
and
a
sister
and
local
parents
there's
a
petition
at
change.org,
and
you
can
also
find
the
link
for
the
petition
on
liz
martin's,
facebook
page
or
on
the
operation.
Jax
village,
facebook
page
it's
on
mine
as
well
too,
to
plant
a
tree
at
east
lake
high
school,
it's
up
to
4
600
signatures.
Last
time
I
checked
they
were
hoping
to
get
to
5
000..
E
There
was
a
little
bit
of
hesitation
initially
by
the
high
school.
I
have
no
idea
what
to
attribute
it
to.
Perhaps
it
was
coordination.
Perhaps
it
was
shock
you
know,
perhaps
they
didn't
know
what
to
do,
but
the
students
actually
gathered
together
to
sort
of
demand
that
the
school
do
something
to
acknowledge
her
passing
and
a
few
days
after
that,
the
acknowledgement
did
come
in
the
form
of
an
email
and
messages
to
parents,
and
things
like
that.
E
E
Grief
to
publicly
grieve
and
not
to
shame
this
young
lady
or
her
family,
as
though
they
had
done
anything
wrong,
and
I
think
that's
exactly
what
we
were
talking
about
at
the
july
19
meeting
and
some
of
their
efforts
were
stymied.
I
hope
that
they
won't
be
going
forward.
I
hope
that
they
can
at
least
plant
a
tree,
but
you
know,
as
we
say
all
the
time
you
know
the
young
people.
So
a
lot
of
us
have
young
people
or
know
young
people.
E
You
know
check
on
them
and
see
how
they're
doing
that
unexpressed
grief
can
be
very
dangerous
to
them
to
those
around
them,
because
her
her
passing,
will
affect
many
many
people
for
years
to
come.
So
I
I
wanted
to
bring
that
up
because
it
matters
a
lot
to
me.
Thanks
guys.
B
G
Mayor,
I
want
to
thank
everybody
who
attended
the
community
workshop
for
getting
engaged
and
coming
out
and
being
a
part
of
that.
I
think
it
was
great
again.
I
know
reiterating
that
again.
I
do
want
to
issue
an
apology
to
my
wife.
I
know
that
we
kind
of
voted
her
not
to
go
to
the
event
and
I'm
going
to
apologize
for
my
wife
individually
here
and
to
all
the
wives
actually
for
making
that
vote,
and
I
should
rethought
that
a
little
bit
differently.
G
Last
time
to
add
to
what
councilman
organa
was
saying,
I
actually
had
the
opportunity
to
go
tubing
and
go
and
have
some
fun
with
some
of
the
kids
from
jack's
village
and
show
them
the
enjoyment
and
the
fun
they
can
have
in
life
and
the
things
they
can
do
and
and
hopefully
break
some
of
that
cycle.
So
we
had
a
great
time
with
liz.
Martin
and
angie
was
out
there.
G
We
had
a
great
time
out
there
tubing
with
the
kids
school
started
last
week,
be
careful
out
there
watch
for
the
kids
watch
out
for
them
and
then
a
quick
congratulations
again
to
my
brother
brad
with
his
new
baby.
We
got
a
chance
to
go,
see
the
new
baby
last
week
up
in
montreal
and
wish
him
the
healthy
baby.
So
thank
you
mayor.
J
Thank
you
mayor
just
a
couple
of
things,
as
as
many
of
you
all
know
the
mayor
and
I
were
able
to
attend
the
florida
league
of
city's
annual
conference
this
past
weekend
down
in
hollandale
beach
and
had
a
lot
of
good
interactions
with
folks
down
there.
I
had
a
chance
to
sit
in
on
the
land
use
and
economic
development
policy
committee.
I
signed
up
and
hoped
to
be
appointed
to
that
with
the
league
of
cities.
J
It
sounds
like
that
is
likely
to
happen
so
we'll
see
and
be
able
to
share
that
news
in
the
future,
but
just
just
sitting
in
on
that
one
meeting
and
not
having
been
previously
exposed
to
it
already
heard
a
lot
of
interesting
and
unique
ideas
that
I
couldn't
wait
to
get
off
from
the
meeting
and
call
felicia
about
and
say:
hey
have
you
heard
about
this?
Have
you
heard
about
that?
So
she's
already
excited
too
we're
we're
going
to
try
to
get
hooked
up
with
the
flc
liaison.
J
Who
leads
that
group
and
we'll
see
where
that
takes
us?
So
I'm
really
excited
about
that
and
then
just
the
other
thing
is
get
out
there
and
vote
you
we've
got
one
week
and
then
the
votes
will
be
tallied.
So
if
you
haven't
done
it
get
your
mail
ballot
in
you
probably
should
only
drop
it
off
by
tomorrow
at
the
latest.
I
think
so
it
gets
counted
in
time.
Otherwise
go
to
the
polls.
That's
all
I
have
thank
you
all.
L
Mayor
get
out
and
vote,
certainly
I
had
to
go
to
buffalo
new
york
this
past
weekend
for
the
passing
of
my
aunt,
barbara.
L
I
know
some
of
you
knew
that
aunt
barb,
of
course,
but
just
wanted
to
take
just
a
time
here.
I
know
she
was
born
and
raised
in
buffalo,
so
it
was
my
uncle
tim.
However,
she
had
a
profound
impact
and
to
see
the
sea
of
people.
You'd
know
the
place
in
lackawanna
the
entire
church
was
filled.
There
was
people
I
hadn't
seen
in
forever.
There
was
people
there,
the
children
of
my
cousins,
who
I'd
never
met,
got
spent
a
lot
of
time
with
them.
It
was
truly
a
celebration
of
her
life.
L
It
was
sorrowful
at
times,
but
we
all
got
together
and
it
was
a
very
sorrowful
yet
enjoyable
opportunity
to
to
meet
and
see
everyone,
so
everyone
who
has
sent
their
condolences
my
way
I
passed
them
along
to
her
family,
but
three
children,
seven
grandchildren,
they
all
they
were
able
to
speak
about
her
and
how
much
that
she
meant
to
all
of
them
and
to
all
of
us
so
just
wanted
to
make
sure.
I
brought
that
up
tonight.
The
vertical
oyster
gardens
are
growing,
it's
very
good
news,
slowly
but
surely,
but
each
step.
B
Mayor,
thank
you
very
much
all
right.
Thank
you.
Happy
birthday,
ann,
yes,
councilmember
graveyard.
The
oysters
were
growing,
we
pulled
them
out
of
the
water,
it
was
early
in
the
morning
and
there
were
a
lot
of
barnacles
right
like
and
when
you
took
them
out
of
the
water.
The
barnacles
were
spitting
all
over
you,
but
there
were
like
these
tiny,
tiny
yeah.
They
really
were.
I
mean
they
were
like,
like
all
over
the
place.
So
but
anyways
there
were
and
then
they
were
so
delicate.
They
were
kind
of
falling
off
the
shelves.
B
B
A
couple
things
yesterday
I
don't
know
if
you
saw
the
tampa
bay
times.
There
was
an
article
in
the
paper
that
the
20
million
dollar
grant
that
the
psta
obtained
for
the
transit
center
in
clearwater,
the
city
manager
of
clearwater,
said
we're
not
going
to
do
it.
Well,
that
has
been
straightened
out
and
it
is
going
to
be.
It
is
moving
forward
and
the
transit
center
will
be
built
in
clearwater
new
transit
center,
and
so
the
psta
will
be
able
to
keep
that
20
million
grant
from
president
biden's
administration.
B
B
I
was
in
meetings
all
the
time
and
I'm
glad
that
you're
on
a
committee,
I
didn't
realize
that
I
didn't
it's
not
official,
yet
not
official.
Well,
I'm
glad
you
signed
up.
That's
really
important
for
our
city
that
you're
on
a
different
committee,
I'm
on
the
utilities
and
environment
public
works.
I
moved
over
to
that
committee
last
year.
I
have
I've
applied
for
chair,
but
we
haven't,
we
don't
know
who's
going
to
get
it
that's
going
to
be.
B
We
don't
know
for
sure,
but
ours
is
strictly
water
quality,
making
sure
we
have
safe
drinking
water
for
the
future.
For
our
children,
that's
what
really
we're
the
plastic,
the
pfabs
that
are
going
into
our
water
system,
testing
our
aquifer
to
make
sure
that
we
have
water
for
the
future.
That's
what
I'm
involved
with
and
last
but
not
least,
I
was
voted
in
by
the
mayors
around
the
state
to
join
the
flc
mayor's
board
of
directors.
B
I
obtained
the
last
two
year
at
large
seat
for
the
floor
league
of
mayors,
so
I'm
all
excited
about
that.
That's
good
all
right
and
with
that
I
think.
That's
it
happy
birthday,
ann
and
we're
going
to
move
on
to
item
13,
approved
tenant
agenda
for
september
6
council
meeting.
Does
anyone
wish
to
pull
anything
from
the
agenda
councilman
or
ganon?
E
Thank
you
yes,
mayor
I'd
like
to
add
to
the
tentative
agenda
approve
absence
of
council
member
gannon
from
september
20th
city
council,
meeting,
okay,
the.
