A
A
Question
talked
about
their
experience
and
it
was
really
wonderful
and
then
Louisa
and
I
spoke
about
the
partnership
and
all
the
different
projects
that
the
districts
Commission
has
last
ten
years
and
what's
interesting
as
well
on
a
side
note,
sally
Hedberg,
who
you
met
every
oshi,
it's
the
arts
for
kids,
a
organizer.
She
also
spoke
on
the
panel
and
one
of
the
girls
that
participated
in
portraits
of
the
city
started
out
in
second
grade
in
her
arts
for
kids,
art
middle
school
art
program.
So
it
wasn't.
Secondly,
there
was
older
than
that,
but
herm.
A
A
A
really
it's
a
good
mix
so
that
particular
lecture
did
have
several
members
from
the
desert.
Art
Center,
but
we
had
quite
a
few
members
from
the
community
we
had
about
thirty
people
show
up
and
then
on
November
20th
we
had
Bernard
Lee
both
of
bakso
projects
speak.
He
came
down
from
Joshua
Tree
and
we
also
had
about
25
people
show
up,
and
what
was
great
about
that
talk.
B
A
Was
it
was
great
cuz?
You
know
there
was
a
time
for
Q&A.
Are
you
speaking
about
Bernard,
oh
yeah?
So
there
was
time
for
Q&A
and
I
mean
people
are
asking
their
questions
and
they
get
to
the
point
and
then
yeah
and
then
we
break
away.
But
we've
it's
I'm
very
pleased
with
the
attendance
numbers.
They
aren't
large,
but
the
room
has
been
filled.

The
Prospectus
has
been
mailed
out
it's
on
the
website
and
it's
been
emailed
out
as
well.
If
you
would
like
to
take
some
copies
and
hand
them
out
or
place
him
at
different
places,
that
would
be
great
I,
don't
know
if
we
do
have
a
juror,
its
Marianne
fault
from
the
managing
director
of
desert,
X
I,
don't
know
if
anyone
in
the
Commission
would
like
to
actually
participate
in
select
the
commissioners
Choice
Awards,
like
we've
didn't
done
last
year,
and
so
that's
up
to
you
and
then
the
opening
reception
is
on
Friday
February,
2nd.
B
A
When
it
would
probably
yes
either,
if
you
would
like
to
do
your
commissioners
Choice
Awards,
we
ask
that
you
do
it
after
the
juror
has
her
selections
and
picked
and
selected
the
top
four
Awards
so
anytime
after
that.
That
would
be
great
and.
A
A
A
A
A
The
teachers
asked
that
we
come
to
the
classroom,
give
a
little
bit
more
insight
into
what
we're
looking
for
so
I
did
that
so,
hopefully,
we'll
get
more
students
this
year
participate
okay.
Lastly,.

A
And
this
weekend
is
boho
bazaar,
sad
and
from
10:00
to
4:00
at
the
desert
art
center.
We
have
approximately
30
artists
who
are
participating.
I
think
we
have
a
great
group
I
hope
that
you
can
be
there.
It's
gonna
be
fun,
we'll
have
there's
gonna,
be
kids
activities,
we're
gonna
have
a
table
out
there
where
they
can.
Parents
want
to
come
and
shop
and
other
arts,
arts
and
crafts
things.
So,
yes,
I
hope
you
can
join
us,
and
you
know
at
one
point:
you.

B
A
A
A
A
Orton
I'm,
subject
matter
for
the
girl
for
the
students
to
discuss
some
of
the
potential
subjects
that
we've
identified
are
Ruth
Moyer,
dr.
Joel,
Gover,
Lisa
Houston
and
Hornet
Barbara
Kellar
Jackie
Autry
Helene,
Galen,
Aaron,
Riley,
Donna,
Macmillan,
Irene,
Rodriguez,
Karen,
brownie,
Keisha,
D,
Susan,
Stein,
Sheri,
Applebaum,
lupe,
ramos-montigny,.
A
Ro,
this
is
kind
of
our
short
list
that
we've
developed
at
the
moment.
All
of
these
women
I've
contributed
in
one
way
or
another.
This
valley,
whether
it
be
the
arts
doctor,
joke
overs
with
desert
AIDS
Project,
find
so
they're
all
in
varying
feels.
Once
again,
we
still
need
to
contact
these
people
and
firm
things.
That's
the
concept.
E
A
A
Absolutely-
and
we
talked
about
that
as
well,
so
one
of
the
things
part
of
our
discussion
yesterday-
sometimes
it's
easier
to
go
in
with
a
structure
and
a
list
I'm
rather
than
just
tell
the
students.
Okay,
pick
someone
yeah,
that's
kind
of
get
this
blank
look
and.
B
A
And-
and
you
know
we're
hoping
to
do
a
couple
different
things
like
I
was
sharing
during
the
world.
I
would
hope
that
students
would
have
the
opportunity
subjects
get
to
know
them
much
like
they
did
with
portraits,
and
they
got
to
know
their
subjects
they
interacted
with
them,
or
so
that
would
be.
That
would
be
great.
We
could
but
we're
still
trying
to
work
those
details,
because
it
will
be.
A
A
A
B
Is
a
very,
very
creative
artist
and
she
works
in
fabric.
She
works
in
pain
as
murals,
so
I
think,
just
by
I
mean
a
portrait
can
can
be
a
lot
of
things
to
her,
probably
not
sculpture
but
I.
Think
that's
the
sort
of
thing
that
might
take
more
than
six
sessions,
but
look
her
up
on
Instagram.
It's
just
amazing
stuff.
In
fact,
I
bought
something
already.
B
C
C
A
B
C
C
C
A
A
B
D
D
E
G
C
E
E
D
D
Just
just
add
on
to
that
I
think
that's
a
great
idea
and
also
because
I
feel
like
having
been
on
a
commission
for
several
years
now
we
have
tended
to
repeat
programs,
and
so,
if
we
want
to
do
new
things,
maybe
we
should
have
a
conversation
about
doing
certain
programs
every
other
year
or
so.
You
know
like,
for
example,
like
the
one
we
were
just
talking
about.
D
D
E
E
C
B
If
you
had
enough
notice,
I
felt
that
it
was
a
little
short
notice
this
time,
but
we've
also,
we
can
schedule
a
study
session,
we've
done
it
a
couple
of
times
in
March,
where
the
whole
topic
could
be
next
year.
You
know-
and
just
so
if
we
have
a
lot
of
these
ideas
down
on
paper,
we
could
have
a
good
hour
to
hear
oh.
B
E
Yeah,
that
was
one
of
the
other
things
is
and
I,
don't
know
what
the
city
has
done
as
far,
but
even
if
it's
a
survey
monkey
or
something
which
isn't
a
great
tool,
but
at
least
to
do
an
outreach
over
this
next
year
to
get
feedback
from
the
community
of
what
they
would
like
to
see.
Mm-Hmm
jay,
Park
and.
B
E
E
E
B
A
B
D
B
But,
however
I
know,
we've
had
trouble
getting
feedback
about
whether
the
city
attorney
or
the
City
Council
had,
in
fact
those
sculptures
to
be
moved.
E
F
Could
I
bring
up
a
question
before
we
get
into
the
proposal?
Part
because
we
in
previous
discussions,
we've
talked
about
the
median
in
front
of
City
Hall
right
here
on
chocolates.
Before
today's
meeting
I
watched
the
stretch
from
el
cielo
down
to
the
next
street,
and
there
seems
to
be
no
existing
concrete
pads
for
the
murals
or
for
the
installations.
A
A
A
B
E
A
F
B
F
Also
just
to
follow
up
on
the
what
Thomas
saying
with
the
downtown
park
sites,
we
need
to
identify
what
area
of
the
park
we
can
actually
access
for
temporary
art
installations.
So
I
did
a
site
survey
down
there
just
a
few
days
ago
and
they
meant
to
bring
the
site
plan
for
the
park
at
the
area
on
the
museum
way.
A
museum,
Drive
corner.
F
E
D
B
B
The
the
park
itself
it
wants
to
think
about
it,
I
we're
trying
to
get
one
of
the
landscape,
designers,
houses
team
and
up
to
much
show
us
the
plan
again,
but
tell
us
where
there
are
places.
D
D
F
E
B
Oh,
but
it's,
but
it
might
be,
no
one
seems
to
know
if
it's
gonna
be
dirt
or
sod.
B
F
I
would
appreciate
that
we
should
start
considering
all
options
more.
Perhaps
this
plot
of
land,
mr.
Scheffer
connect
me
with
an
artist
Michael
bernburg,
so
we
have
in
our
package
a
initial
proposal
from
him.
He
does
installations
that
are
pipe
orientated
and
messages
and
for
the
purposes
of
this
one,
the
messages
I
forgot.
I
am
a
memory,
but
I
have
discussion
with
him
on
the
phone.
I've
wanted
to
push
a
little
bit
more
for
the
excite
public
audience
that
something
new
is
coming
and
changed.
A
F
A
F
Should
discuss
as
we
go
forward
with
this
and
then
I've
yet
to
have
a
conversation
with
but
I'm
anxious
to
talk
to
Phillip
K
Smith,
to
also
consider
him
as
something
that
could
be
a
combination
of
both
sites
and
medium
temporary
art
for
the
spaceman.
So
it
actually
becomes
a
downtown
park
or
the
Virgin
Hotel
and.
F
Right
well,
yeah,
just
jumping
into
the
whole
mural
topic.
We
hope
now
that
our
changes
to
the
mirror
ordinance
will
be
heard
by
City
Council,
hopefully
on
January
the
3rd,
so
in
anticipation
of
the
new
rules
and
regulations
starting
to
do
groundwork
with
local
artists,
and
we
have
a
fortunate
to
have
Ryan
Campbell
here,
we've
I've
met
with
Ryan.
F
Monday,
just
general
sense
of
identifying
places
in
and
around
Palm
Springs
that
we
can
do
public
art
murals,
which
will
be
easier
with
the
new
ordinance,
will
have
a
be
more
affordable,
so
I'm
starting
to
do
network
with
local
property
owners
and
real
estate
brokers.
One
being
robbed
when
told
who
is
a
managing
broker
with
Coldwell
Banker
for
symmetry
properties
in
town
and
a
wall
that
we
discussed,
Rowan,
Campbell
and
I
discussed,
is
on
North
Palm
Canyon,
641,
North,
Palm
Canyon.
G
F
Place
we
can
jump
on
that
and
determine
what
direction
to
take
with
that
and
hopefully
also
encourage
the
property
owner
to
finance
all
or
part
of
it
or
we
could
discuss
if
we
will
do
that
as
a
commission
financing
part
of
it.
But
anyway
in
the
meeting
with
Ryan,
and
he
then
let
me
know
that
covered
California
and
company
Warren
brand
of
brand
art
was
sponsoring
a
mural
on
the
back
wall.
I
would
call
it
the
back
wall
of
desert.
Regional
press
conference
was
held
yesterday
yesterday
and
then,
of
course,
realized.
B
F
G
Please
about
spell
Ryan
Campbell,
rya,
n
CA
m
PB
e
ll
I'm,
a
local
artist
here,
based
out
of
Palm
Desert
Cathedral
City
I've
been
fortunate
enough
over
the
last
eight
or
so
years
to
work
with
miss
Henning
on
several
projects
with
Louisa
Castro
Dale
and
the
Palm
Springs
utilize
correct,
including
some
large-scale
mural
projects
within
the
Palm
Springs
Unified
School
District
that
are
not
pretty
they're.
All
legal.
B
G
Have
a
book
I
mean
there's,
there's
quite
a
bit
of
information
about
that
out
there.
But
the
reason
I'm
here
today
is
to
talk
about
the
project
going
on
as
a
regional
medical
center,
I
was
approached
by
a
organization
based
out
of
Los
Angeles
called
branded
arts
who
has
done
over
350
murals
worldwide
work
with
corporations
large
brands
to
integrate
art
into
the
public
facade.
G
C
G
G
We
apologize
for
the
misstep
being
completely
clear
on
the
location
and
understanding
what
the
parameters,
our
city
and
currently
in
place,
so
I
work
diligently
with
mr.
brand
yesterday
to
go
through
the
planning
office
and
put
together
as
much
of
the
current
application
as
possible.
We're
still
waiting
on
a
couple
of
items,
site
plan
from
an
architectural
hospital.
G
Signature
from
the
owner,
that's
where
we're
at
with
that
portion
of
our
submission
for
the
application.
There's
some
conversations
that
we
were
lucky
enough
to
have.
Yesterday
we
were
able
to
hopefully
be
able
to
maybe
expedite
the
process
of
approving
design
and
the
execution
of
the
work
hopes
that
we
can
possibly
go
forward
before
the
end
and
be
the
first
official
mural
to
go
through
the
new.
G
G
Actually
ask
tech
to
get
these
images
back,
because
this
is
part
of
the
submission
process,
so
I
have
to
have
these
back
to
submit
this
family.
It
also
included
a
copy
of
Palm
Springs
art
patron
magazine,
which
I
was
lucky
enough
to
have
a
featuring
last
year.
Excuse
me
over
the
summer,
and
that
illustrates
some
of
the
work
that
I
make
and
some
of
the
work
a
few
years
and
some
of
the
history
about
my
career,
also
in
this
last
month,
for
destroy.
G
G
G
An
ad,
so
what
we've
done
is
we've
integrated
the
colors
of
the
covered
California
logo
and
the
covered
California
organization
coincide
with
the
mural
representation
of
covered
California.
But
ultimately
it's
not
a
representation
of
covered
California.
The
representation
of
the
message,
health
care.
B
B
B
F
Were
perhaps
one
of
my
comments
was
I
was
in
Sturgis
right,
I,
wasn't
sure
if
we
as
a
commission
were
able
to
do
special
meetings
and
I
would
like
to
throw
that
out
to
our
fellow
commissioners.
Those
mention
of
Schaffer
mentioned
that
if
we
are
able
to
have
the
City
Council
address,
the
mural
ordinance
on
January,
3rd
and
I
would
recommend
that
we
would
help
expedite
this
for
Bryan
and
covered
California
and
as
a
regional,
that
we
tentatively
planned
to
have
a
special
meeting
on
January
4th
I.
C
C
C
C
G
G
F
D
D
G
F
E
G
I
can
answer
all
those
questions
sure
no,
no,
not
at
all,
so
this
program
has
actually
gone
all
over
California
through
the
approval
process
of
working
with
the
client.
We
have
to
go
back.
We
have
to
change
things,
so
it's
ultimately
up
to
covered
California
as
to
when
the
design
is
approved
and
when
the
site
specifically
says
this
is
the
wall
we're
going
to
allow
you
to
use
in
terms
of
the
length
and
the
life
of
the
mural.
G
G
G
B
G
F
Yeah,
just
to
lay
some
groundwork,
if
it's
speaking
with
Jennifer
and
some
possible
site
locations
and
as
I
travel
around
the
city,
just
sort
of
trying
to
identify
very
visible
walls
that
could
aid
to
have
some
art
on
them
and
working
specifically
with
this
one
broker
to
help
engage
business
or
the
property
owners,
which
would
be
one
of
the
main
steps
is
to
get
them
to
make
the
application
come
up
with
all
or
most
of
the
funds.
And
then
we
can
talk
about
as
we
wished.
After
we
get
the
maraud
nuts
passed.
F
B
F
Last
week,
which
was
the
walking
tour
I
have
only
a
couple
of
brochures
that
they
created
it's
the
desert,
Regional
Arts
Center
that
has
been
sponsoring
murals
in
Coachella
since
2014,
so
they
organized
a
walking
tour
last
week.
I
think
there
is
approximately
seven
or
eight
murals
that
were
visible.
F
There
are
a
couple
there
not
this'll
right
now,
because
of
construction
sites,
that
this
is
what
they've
managed
to
in
the
little
downtown
center
of
Coachella,
close
to
the
Veterans
Memorial
Park
put
together
eight
murals
within
a
six-block
radius
in
the
last
three
years,
and
it's
just
so
dynamic
of
embracing
the
art
and
culture
of
the
valley
and
its
history.
So
that's
something
that
I
look
forward
to
us,
also
embracing
as
we
go
forward
with
our
mural
program
and.
B
The
the
downtown
project,
either
the
the
commercial
part
or
the
park
part,
is
I.
Think
it's
going
to
lend
itself
to
temporary
neurosis,
a
lot
of
fent.
There
will
be
a
lot
of
fences
and
the
the
row
and
it's
apparently
interested
in
a
mural
or
two
on
their
walls.
So
I
think
that's
a
lot
going
on
right,
downtown.

Just
to
give
you
a
little
update
on
that
what
we
had
talked
about
and
discussed
the
Commission
decided
that
the
bike
rack
that's
currently
there.
It's
a
I'm
set
up
the
Shelf
item
and
it's
fairly
easy
to
remove
so
we're
gonna.
Take
that
one
out
and
put
the
artistic
bike
rack
in
that
location,
and
it
also
happens
to
be
yellow.
So
it's
a
perfect,
perfect
swamp
an
upgrade
so.
A
And
one
of
the
reasons
why
we
held
off
on
that
location
was
because
there's
been
road
work,
that's
being
done
on
sunny
dunes,
so
we
just
it
was
suggested
to
us
that
we
wait
until
all
of
that
was
completed
and
we're
so
close
to
having
the
third
piece
finished
that
we
just
it's
easier
to
have
the
contractor.
Do
it
all
in
oh.

Eloise
a
lot
of
two-person
subcommittees,
but
it's
really
fun
it's
his
I
won't
put
you
over
the
limit.
You
know
you
want
to
keep
me
in
the
loop
or,
if
there's
something
I
can
help
with
I.
Could
I
would
like
to
suggest
that
we
just
changed
the
order
of
the
last
two
items
and
have
their
report
from
staff
and
then
only
if
people
really
like
they
have
it
made,
and
we
can
otherwise
I
think
we
should
try
to
I.
