I,
don't
know
what
the
expectation
is
of
the
homeowner,
but
it
does
say
it
doesn't
have
significant
historic
value,
so
I'm
trying
to
understand
why
the
city
is
recommending
denial,
because
it
says
right
in
the
paperwork
that
it
doesn't
have
historic
value
so
and
that
it's
outside
of
the
historic
district
so
I'm
a
little
confused.
It.
A
So
that's
why
it
has
little
historical
value,
but
it
is
our
policy
within
the
city
to
deny
demolition
permits
so
that
way
developers
do
not
come
in
and
develop
and
just
get
a
demo
permit,
rip
out
historic
structures
and
then
rebuild
it's
just
a
45-day
hold,
and
that
also
gives
anybody
who
might
have
objection
to
it
to
come
forward
and
plead
their
case.
A
B
D
Thank
you
Brad,
because
I'm
trying
to
figure
out
the
historic
connection
and
you're
giving
me
a
couple
of
grounds,
which
is
that
somebody
could
step
forward
and
say
there
is
historic
value
or
somebody
has
in
strict
information
that
would
be
helpful
to
us.
So
that
would
be
the
primary
benefit.
I
guess.
If
a
45
day.
B
E
F
F
Michelle,
my
family
has
lived
in
that
house
since
1961.,
when
my
parents
bought
it
originally
at
Cylon
cinder
blocks
and
it
had
some
sort
of
like
really
old
sighting
on
it.
But
in
1991
the
lady
who
held
the
mortgage
on
the
house
called
the
note
and
my
dad
didn't
have
enough
income
to
debt
ratio
to
carry
the
mortgage,
so
I
I
had
to
be
added
to
the
deed.
In
order
to
co-sign
the
mortgage.
F
For
my
dad
and
at
that
time
we
totally
remodeled
the
house,
the
lady
who
originally
owned
it,
sat
it
on
the
ground
and
poured
his
love
around
the
house,
and
then
we
went
and
we
flipped
the
floor
plan
and
we
added
the
stucco
new
windows,
a
new
roof.
The
metal
roof
was
put
on
after
Hurricane
Charlie,
so
the
house
really
doesn't
look
like
it
originally
did
at
all
anymore.
G
Don
Diamond
I
represent
the
engineering
firm
that
deals
with
this
particular
project.
We
inspected
the
home.
The
home
is
absolutely
unfixable
it
actually
as
far
as
a
hardship,
I,
don't
know,
but
I'd
kind
of
be
concerned
about
it
being
out
there
for
liability
purposes.
I
mean
the
building
is
literally
about
ready
to
fall.
So
you
know
I,
don't
know
what
ramifications
there
are
to
that.
You
know
I
kind
of
surprising
that
everything
is
denied
without
question,
so
anyways
I,
just
figured
I'd,
add
my
two
cents
to
say:
look.
B
C
C
H
C
H
H
Now
the
house
has
been
sitting
there
getting
worse
and
you
know
it
needs
to
be
torn
down
and
it's
you
know,
taxes
and
everything
else
can't
be
homesteaded.
Nobody
can
live
there,
so
at
least
if
they're
divided
Lots
or
we
keep
them
together,
we
decide
to
build,
we
don't
know,
we
haven't
got
to
that
point.
Yet.
We've
been
battling
this
battle.
First,
okay,.
C
H
The
property
no
other
than
every
time
it
rains
or
we
get
high
water.
It
comes
in
okay
because
the
original
house
was
set
on
the
ground
and
they
took
the
siding
off
and
poured
a
slab
from
over
top
if
you're
seeing
the
pictures
where
the
toilet
in
the
shower-
or
they
had
to
raise
that
in
order
to
get
hooked
to
city
sewer
right
because
otherwise
it
wouldn't
have
drained
into
the
sewer.
C
B
B

A
J
According
secretary
Leah
for
the
record
based
off
of
experience,
it's
a
motion
to
deny
the
application
and
delay
it
for
45
days.
If
you
approve
it,
that
would
approve
the
demolition
without
the
45
delay.
Earth
Day
delay.
D
J
B
B
That
would
be
what
would
be
approved,
but
it's
kind
of
I
agree.
It's
a
little
ambiguous
here.
So
if
we
vote
on
ca01
2023-434
West
Ann
Street,
we
would
be
my
opinion
is.
We
would
be
voting
on
a
45-day
delay,
as
we
have
over
the
past
several
years
when
I've
been
involved
with
the
group,
but
it
makes
no
difference
to
me
I.

B
And
we
are
now
certificate
of
appropriateness,
CA,
48-2022,
111,
West,
Marion,
Avenue
information,
only
new
roof
in
the
comments,
any
information
from
the
staff
so.
A
A
Staff
has
approved
this
application
because
the
proposed
flat
roof
complies
with
code
and
is
in
keeping
with
the
character
of
the
surrounding
neighborhood.
Do
you
have
any
questions.
A
Staff
has
approved
this
application
to
construct
a
new
deck
in
the
back
of
the
house.
The
deck
complies
with
code
and
is
architecturally
consistent
with
the
House's
character
and
that
of
the
surrounding
structures,
and
that
is
the
deck
there
it's
already
been
built.
Do
you
have
any
questions?
Thank.
B
A
Yes,
so
staff
has
approved
this
CA.
It
was
a
request
for
asphalt,
shingle
removal
and
replacement
on
the
primary
and
detached
structures.
These
two
slot-
or
these
two
pictures
here
on
the
left,
show
the
pieces
of
roof
that
they
wish
to
replace
or
shingles.
Rather,
the
proposed
repairs
comply
with
code
and
are
in
keeping
with
the
character
of
the
surrounding
neighborhood,
so
we
approved
it.
Questions.
B
B
Just
to
give
you
an
update
on
that
yeah
super
as
a
matter
of
fact,
I
received
it
email
to
that
effect
as
well,
and
also
tonight,
if
you've
accepted
it
already.
This
is
team.
Partagore
is
meeting.
I
A
B
A
I
may
interject,
you
guys
I,
have
a
comment
under
staff
comments,
Brittany
Metzler
again,
so
we
are
still
doing
the
evaluation
and
appraisal
report
of
the
comprehensive
plan
and
we
send
out
the
historic
element
to
you
to
review
we're
going
I'm
going
to
present
on
it
your
next
meeting
February
23rd.
D
E
B
E
Brad
I
do
have
one
that's
not
related
to
the
historic
Advisory
Board
I
believe
there
is
a
meeting
at
the
Event
Center
at
five
o'clock,
with
the
Florida
Department
of
Transportation
regarding
41
North
from
William
Street
to
the
bridge,
a
couple
of
hour
meeting,
and
they
have
plans
for
41
that
we
should
all
be
paying
attention
to.
Okay.
