Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
B
Sure,
Heavenly
Father.
We
thank
you
for
this
opportunity
in
government
to
share
this
meeting
for
a
time
of
refreshment
of
spirit
and
fellowship
help
us
to
work
and
think
and
pray
together
that
we
may
be
more
perfectly
fitted
to
serve
you
and
those
with
whom
we
work
in
the
tasks
in
which
we
have
been
called
help
us
God,
to
look
wise
and
to
reflect
thy
wisdom.
C
A
Proclamation
that
we
have
today
is
one
that
is
a
participation
sport.
So
if
you
have
not
not
been
here
before,
when
we
have
a
proclamation
for
the
conquistadors,
you
know
the
whole
audience
gets
involved.
So
if
you,
gentlemen,
would
please
come
up
here
and
help
us
come
up
to
the
front
so
that
we
can
help
and
face
the
audience,
but
for
everyone?
That's
here,
so
you
can
help
get
this
group
going
this
morning.
Are
you
ready
for
this
all
right.
A
E
A
So
what
we're
gonna
do
is
when
there's
a
pause
you
can
just
cheer
and
do
like
we
do
at
the
at
the
at
the
landing.
Okay,
is
this
a
rehearsal
for
the
landing?
Okay,
so
Proclamation
city
of
Punta,
Gorda
Florida,
where,
as
the
Royal
Order
of
the
won
Ponce
de
Leon
conquistadors,
was
formed
in
1979
to
commemorate
and
perpetuate
the
memory
of
Juan
Ponce
de
Leon
I,
don't
hear
anything
from
the
audience
they
just
don't
want
to
participate.
A
I
have
to
tell
you
you're
at
the
at
the
tiki
bar
there.
I
have
a
lot
of
tea.
You
know
conquistador
helper
and
helping
them
get
this
crowd
going.
So,
whereas
the
city
of
Punta
Gorda
wished
to
show
their
appreciation
in
the
support
of
the
pond
pots
daily
under
conquistadors
for
their
efforts
in
commemorating
the
memory
of
Juan
Ponce
de
Leon
through
the
pots
of
pots
de
Leon
discovery
of
Florida
ball,.
B
D
A
G
We'd
like
to
thank
council
for
the
proclamation
every
year,
we
look
forward
to
it
and
you
guys
are
fantastic.
The
landing
by
the
way
is
a
lot
of
fun.
We
bring
the
big
boat
down
a
little
boat
and
it's
basically
turns
into
a
party
Gilly
Gilly
join
us.
Other
thing,
I'd
like
to
say
too,
is
anybody
that
might
be
interested
in
joining
the
conquistadors,
we're
always
looking
for
new
members,
and
you
don't
have
to
drink.
Somebody
said:
oh,
you
got
a
dream.
E
A
H
H
Now,
therefore,
the
City
Council
of
the
city
of
Punta,
Gorda
Florida,
does
hereby
proclaim
the
week
of
April
14
to
19
2019
as
military
Heritage
Museum
week
past
and
duly
adopted
in
regular
session.
This
third
of
April
2019,
so
I'm,
Nancy,
pref
key
mayor
and
accepting
is
Marilyn
Smith
mone,
the
President
of
the
Board
of
Directors
and
Gary
Butler,
our
executive
director
and
also
board
member
chuckh
Kersh.
H
I
Have
to
give
credit
in
large
part
to
this
person
standing
next
to
me:
Jerry
Butler,
our
executive
director.
It
is
his
extensive
expertise
and
years
of
knowledge
as
the
CEO
of
the
Boy
Scouts
of
America
at
the
national
level
that
has
made
us
able
to
do
this
move
and
figure
out
how
we're
going
to
support
it.
I
I
He
started
it
with
his
own
collection
of
military
memorabilia
and
artifacts,
and
started
up
at
Town,
Center
Mall
and
then
other
veterans
that
so
I
got
interested
and
a
group
of
them
got
together
and
that's
how
it
started
with
this
first
space
of
fishermen's
village
to
me,
I
got
on
board
in
2007
and
had
he
was
very
gracious
and
wonderful
Museum
and
said.
How
would
you
like
a
nice
location
at
the
village,
and
she
gave
us
the
one
right
up
front
where
it
is
now
and
then
patty
came
again?
I
How
would
you
like
to
move
into
the
impact
building
that
faces
onto
Marian
Avenue,
so
Patti
isn't
large
part
fulfilling
a
dream
I've
had
since
2007,
when
I
came
on
board
for
the
museum
to
have
a
facility
where
you
walk
in
you're
in
awe,
and
you
feel
a
sense
of
reverence
respect
and
appreciation
for
veterans
do
whether
a
few
other
people
I
just
have
to
say.
Thank
you
for
volunteers.
I
This
museum
never
could
have
existed
without
the
volunteers.
We
have
about
70
and
there's
no
way
we
ever
could
have
afforded
to
have
paid
staff.
Do
that,
so
god
bless
them
and
God
bless
them
as
their
service
to
our
country
as
well.
Kym
Lovejoy,
Kevin
Lovejoy
was
the
person
I
hired
when
I
became
the
executive
during
the
present
into
the
board
2007
without
Kym
I
couldn't
have
got
it
going,
and
some
board
members
that
were
very
helpful
back
then
so
great
appreciation,
Kym
Lovejoy,
terrific
board
members.
I
Public
support
was
unbelievable
to
people
in
particular
that
I
do
need
to.
Mention
is
Wally
spats
who,
upon
her
passing,
left
one
million
dollars
with
the
Charlotte
community
foundation
and
for
every
dollar
that
we
raised
in
fundraising.
Her
fun
matches
it,
so
we
have
pretty
much
got
close
matching
at
all
the
other
person
that
I
need
to
say.
I
Thank
you
to
is
Roger
tetryl,
who
gave
a
very
significant
amount
of
money
early
on
for
a
new
building
which
was
never
constructed
through
ition
by
former
boards,
so
we're
as
close
as
we
can
get
now
with
the
building
were
in
and
I.
Thank
you
all
for
recognizing
the
museum,
I
think
you're
gonna
be
absolutely
anybody
who
hasn't
seen
it
yet
when
you
get
in
there,
I
do
hope.
You're
gonna
be
dazzled.
I
A
J
And
whereas
it
is
timely
to
reflect
upon
the
importance
of
parliamentary
procedure
in
providing
for
civil
discourse,
protecting
individual
rights,
ensuring
fairness
and
in
maintaining
order.
And
whereas
the
National
Association
of
parliament
with
new
always
gonna
screw
over
parliamentarians.
Is
a
professional
society
dedicated
to
educating
leaders
throughout
the
world
in
effective
meeting
management
through
the
use
of
parliamentary
procedure
and
their
vision
is
to
provide
parliamentary
leadership
to
the
world
and
whereas
the
National
Association
of
parliamentarians
has,
by
adoption
of
a
standing
rule
designated
the
month
of
April
as
parliamentary
law
month.
Now.
J
K
F
M
Morning,
the
Charlotte
County
parliamentarians
unit
is
an
all-volunteer
organization.
It
is
our
mission
to
teach
education
for
groups,
nonprofit
groups,
churches,
Asia,
Airways,
condo
associations,
anyone
interested
in
the
proper
and
efficient
means
of
running
a
meeting,
and
it
is
our
pleasure
to
continue
that
mission
here
in
Charlotte
County.
So
we
thank
you
today
for
the
proclamation
you're
welcome.
F
C
Now,
therefore,
the
city
of
Council
of
the
city
of
Punta,
Gorda
Florida,
does
hereby
proclaim
the
month
of
April
as
water
conservation
month
and
calls
upon
each
citizen
and
business
to
help
protect
this
precious
resource
by
practicing
water
saving
measures
and
becoming
more
aware
of
the
need
to
save
water
past
the
duly
adopted
in
regular
session.
This
third
day
of
April
2019,
signed
by
Mayor,
Nancy,
crafty
and
accepting
will
be
Dennis.
N
C
N
Yes,
sir
good
morning,
City
Council,
on
behalf
of
everybody,
from
the
district
from
our
board
members
to
our
staff.
Everyone
involved,
we
want
to
say
thank
you
to
the
city
of
Punta
Gorda
for
recognizing
April
as
Water
Conservation
month
for
coastal
communities
as
Koenig
or
des.
We
really
understand
how
important
it
is.
N
You
know
to
have
our
best
practices
during
the
dry
months
up
in
April,
whether
it's
turning
off
water
faucets,
while
brushing
your
teeth,
extra
minute
or
irrigating,
your
lawn
on
a
regular
basis
and
trying
to
help
conserve
water,
and
that
matter
so
I
just
want
to
say
once
again
on
behalf
of
the
district,
we
appreciate
the
recognition
and
we
also
value
the
relationship
with
the
city
very
much
as
well.
So
thank
you.
Thank
you.
A
O
Morning,
everybody,
whereas
one
of
the
most
meaningful
gifts,
human
being,
can
bestow
upon
another
as
a
gift
of
life
and
whereas
more
than
thirty-five
thousand
five
hundred
Americans
receive
a
life-saving
organ
transplant
each
year,
and
whereas
a
new
patient
is
added
to
the
National
patient
waiting
list
for
an
organ
transplant.
Every
ten
minutes
and
whereas
more
than
a
hundred
and
thirteen
thousand
men,
women
and
children
are
currently
on
the
National
waiting
list
for
transplantation,
which
5,700
are
in
the
west
and
southwest
florida
area.
O
And
whereas
the
average
of
22
people
would
die
every
day
awaiting
an
organ
transplant
and
whereas
one
organ
tissue
and
eye
donor
can
save
or
enhance
the
lives
or
as
many
as
75
people.
And
whereas
everyone
is
a
potential
organ
eye
and
tissue
donor
and
can
register
their
wish
to
save
the
lives.
Two
organ
and
tissue
donation
donate,
Florida,
org
or
through
their
driver's
license.
O
Now,
therefore,
the
City
Council
of
the
city
of
Punta,
Gorda
Florida,
does
hereby
proclaim
the
month
of
April
2019
as
Donate
Life
Month
encourages
all
citizens
to
consider
giving
life
to
organ
donation
and
to
sign
up
on
Florida's
organ
and
tissue
donor
registry
by
visiting
the
website
or
when
reviewing
their
driver's
license.
A
registration
card
passed
until
he
adopted
his
third
day
of
April
city
Punta,
Gorda,
Nancy,
premier
and
Jim
Lavery
will
accept.
P
We
thank
you
greatly
for
honoring
us
with
this
proclamation
for
national
Donate
Life
Month,
an
organ
donor
did
save
my
life
seven
and
a
half
years
ago,
I
received
a
liver
transplant,
there's
a
hundred
and
thirteen
thousand
people
nationwide
on
the
list
and,
as
you
heard
5700
alone
right
here
in
Florida
two
years,
it
took
me
on
the
list.
I
eventually
got
to
number
one
on.
D
P
East
Coast
number
one:
now
a
lot
of
people
strive
to
be
number
one.
You
wouldn't
be
the
best
team,
you
wouldn't
be
the
bestest.
You
want
to
be
the
best
at
being
number
one
on
that
list
is
not
the
greatest
being
number
one
on
the
list
meant
I
was
the
next
to
die.
That's
all
what
man
and
if
I
did
not
get
a
donor.
I
was
due
to
die.
P
Fortunately,
after
two
years
on
the
list,
my
wish
came
true,
you
got
the
call
on
Father's
Day,
seven
and
a
half
years
ago.
June
you
got
the
call.
There
was
only
one
complication
I
thank
all
donors
because
they
are
the
greatest.
Everybody
comes
with
a
different
story:
I
myself
had
did
40
years
in
law
enforcement.
P
P
D
P
Yes,
what
he
was
an
organ
donor.
His
last
act
was
to
save
my
life
and
I.
Thank
him
greatly.
I
come
from
a
large
Irish
family
that
guy
gets
more
prayers
every
day
and
then
maybe
not
the
greatest
life,
but
guess
what
he's
praised
by
our
family
and
he's
in
heaven
somewhere,
because
we
made
sure
of
that.
So,
thank
you
all
very
much,
please.
If
you're
a
donor
I.
Thank
you
very
much
and
God
bless
you
for
being
one.
If
you're
not
please
ww
donate
life
Florida,
please
sign
up
and
become
an
organ
donor.
D
P
P
K
A
A
A
And
the
first
item
on
the
agenda:
our
citizens
comments
on
any
CRA
item
or
agenda
item,
so
that
would
be
the
CRA
project
status
report
or
the
approval
of
minutes.
So
if
there
are
any
business
comments,
please
come
to
code
iam.
You
have
three
minutes
seeing
none
then
we'll
move
into
the
presentation.
Our.
Q
Fgcu
did
sign
their
lease
extension,
it's
a
month-to-month
through
March
31st
2020
until
they
decide
more
definitively
what
they
want
to
do
with
their
space
at
Harold's,
Court,
Center
and
work
is
going
on
at
the
salon
and
spa
area
somewhat
slow,
but
it's
going
on.
They
already
had
an
astounding
inspection,
so
there.
Q
I
am
Rico
I
am
requesting
on
behalf
of
the
Friends
of
the
playground
at
Gilchrist
Park,
for
you
to
approve
the
two
additional
sketches
on
the
right.
They
would
be
in
the
boys
and
girls
bathrooms
the
mural
by
the
restroom.
The
large
mural
is
done,
it's
complete
and
at
the
same
artist,
Ron
Bates
has
put
together
a
sketch
for
the
other
for
the
two
doors
we've
done
sketches
on
the
Lashley
Park
restrooms.
So
I
just
need
a
nod
from
the
CRA
for
them
to
go
ahead
and
get
it
done.
R
D
Q
Q
Q
Q
F
F
Q
D
A
K
A
couple
of
things
Howard
mentioned
that
the
our
annual
our
annual
report
to
the
estate
was
just
issued
like
to
thank
Howard,
the
staff
and
the
Joan,
the
bow.
It's
a
it's
a
very
impressive
doctor,
very
much
so.
The
other
point
I
was
at
the
meeting
of
the
Charlotte
Harbor
CRA
last
week,
and
they
by
law,
had
to
issue
their
report
have
a
copy
of
it.
They
did
an
interesting
thing
and
something
we
may
want
to
think
about.
They
did
a
breakdown
of
the
13
or
1334
businesses
that
are
contained
in
their
district.
K
It's
it's
a
fairly
large
district
and
broke
that
down
in
terms
of
the
types
of
businesses
represented
by
those
1,300
establishments,
as
you
might
guess,
the
by
and
by
and
far
the
largest
are
offices
of,
physicians,
mental
health
specialists,
etc,
because
that
district
does
encompass
a
good
portion
of
the
hospital
district.
But
it
was
very
interesting
is
something
that
I
think
would
be
a
useful
statistic
and
can
be
used
not
only
by
you
know
the
CRA
but
other
entities
in
the
in
the
city.
So
something
to
consider
doing
that
that
breakdown
have.
H
K
Absolutely
that
was
a
point
and
I
meant
to
mention
that
also
interesting
on
the
agenda
of
their
meeting
last
week.
There
was
a
a
request
that
that
board
it's
an
advisory
board.
It's
not
the
actual
CRA,
it's
an
advisory
board
to
the
county
commissioners,
which
are
aid,
the
CRA
for
the
Harbor
CRA,
and
that
that
proposal
was
to
rename
or
officialize
what
they
have
been
calling.
The
Harbor
walk
as
the
river
district
walk
a
lot
of
a
lot
of
conversation
with
with
the
advisory
board
members,
the
substance
of
which
was
well
gee.
K
We've
called
it
the
River
Walk
for
or
the
Harbor
walk
for
all
of
these
years.
That's
the
that's
the
legacy
name
of
it.
It
borders,
the
harbor
and
so
forth,
and
they
ultimately
chose
not
to
go
along
with
their
staffs
recommendation
that
it
be
changed
to
to
the
River
Walk
I
I
did
stand
up
and
and
comment
that
really
we
had
established
on
this
side
of
the
river
Harbor
walk.
K
We've
spent
a
lot
of
money,
a
lot
of
time
and
effort
and
branding
that
it
has
a
distinct
identity
that
there's
going
to
be
an
affinity
between.
What's
going
on
on
the
one
side
of
the
river
and
what's
going
on
on
our
side,
and
it
seems
to
make
a
lot
of
sense
that
we
not
have
confusing
similar
names
in
both
sides.
K
A
To
go
along
with
that
I
was
asked
by
a
Sun
reporter,
not
Dan,
and
what
my
opinion
was
of
that
particular
issue.
It
was
true,
and
my
comment
was
that
this
is
not
in
our
jurisdiction.
Well,
I
do
feel
that,
yes,
it
could
be
confusing.
It
is
not
in
our
jurisdiction,
and
so
it
is
not
up
to
us
to
decide
if,
if
the
County,
Commissioners
or
others
want
our
opinion
and
want
us
to
weigh
in
on
it,
we
would
be
happy
to
put
it
on
an
agenda
so
that
we
could
discuss
it
and
provide
feedback.
A
Can't
and
they
asked
me
what
my
personal
opinion
was
and
I
said
it
my
personal
opinion.
It
doesn't
matter,
it's
really
at
this
point.
Is
you
know
if
I'm,
in
a
conversation
with
a
commissioner
and
the
Commissioner,
asked
me
what
I
think
that's
one
on
one
discussion?
That's
fine,
but
you
know
at
this
to
provide
feedback
on
if
they
wanted.
F
Every
time
I
see
the
CRA
report
of
status
of
what
we've
accomplished
from
month
to
month.
I'm
just
I
am
amazed
at
the
progress
the
city
going
forward
is
accomplishing
I
mean
you
know.
I
Drive
by
the
library
play
three
or
four
times
a
day
and
you
go
by
in
the
morning
and
there's
no
landscaping
and
you
come
back
at
night
and
there's
palm
trees
and
there's
some
lights
and
it's
just
you
know
we
are.
We
are
getting
it
done,
and
I'm
really
I'm
thrilled
great.
A
C
A
If
you
talk
to
any
of
the
historians,
they
will
tell
you
that
is
the
Charlotte
Harbor
Bay
and
that
it
was
declared
the
bay
back
in
nineteen
years
like
a
hundred
years
ago
by
a
legislature,
but
it
was
the
board
bay
was
not
included
on
the
maps,
so
it's
it's
just
simply
been
caught
because
it
was
Charlotte.
Harbor
was
the
name
of
the
specific
area
across
the
river,
and
so
that's
why
a
lot
of
the
old
timers
call
it
the
bay.

Morning,
lisa
haydon,
zoning,
official
and
I
had
been
sworn
I
would
like
to
enter
the
staff
report
into
the
record
in
its
entirety
by
reference.
The
property
located
at
200
West
Henry
Street
was
Riis
owned
in
1988
from
residential
multi-family
ten
units
per
acre
to
a
Planned
Unit
development,
with
an
approved
site
plan
when
rezone
to
the
Planned
Unit
development
1988,
the
development
standards
stated
the
maximum
allowable
residential
density
permitted
with
a
PUD
four
areas
does
made
it
for
commercial
use.
T
On
said,
zoning
Atlas
15
dwelling
units
per
acre
in
2005
when
the
entire
city
was
rezone.
This
property
retained
the
15
dwelling
units
per
acre
development
rights,
along
with
the
planned
development
site
plan
and
conditions.
The
request
to
remove
the
planned
unit
development
site
planning
conditions
from
the
property
in
rezone
to
neighborhood
residential
15
units
per
acre
will
also
remove
the
commercial
entitlement
from
this
property.
The
NR
15
neighborhood
residential
15
units
per
acre
designation
will
provide
continuity
and
consistency
with
the
neighboring
properties
to
the
north
and
the
west.

There's
gonna
be
an
accident
there,
someday
I
guess
I
should
take
video.
If
that's
what
you'd
like
to
see
but
I
understand
that
there's
need
for
housing,
affordable
housing
in
this
area,
I'm,
not
against
that.
But
you
have
to
give
the
people
that
live
there.
Something
safety
speeds
are
not
the
speed.
Laws
are
not
enforced
on
Henry,
you
have
service
people
coming
and
going.
You
have
residents
passing
each
other
on
Henry,
Street
I,
see
it
every
day,
so
just
taking
consideration
the
people
that
live
in
the
area,
everybody.
V
My
name
is
Laurie
Hutt
and
I
live
right.
Next
to
this
property,
I
have
the
real
small
house
next
to
it,
and
my
concern
is
13
units
two-bedroom
units
I,
just
the
volume
of
that
I
mean
it's
one
story:
I,
don't
understand
how
that's
gonna
fit
on
less
than
an
acre
property
plus
the
cars
there'll
be
26
cars
for
two
thirteen,
two
bedroom
units,
oops
I'm,
sorry
that
seemed
to
me
26
cars
is
plenty
for
less
than
an
acre
plus
visitor
parking,
there's
no
shoulder
on
either
Grace
or
Harvey
Street.
V

J
There
was
a
desire
to
relieve
those
requirements
that
would
need
to
come
back
before
the
City
Council
as
an
amendment,
but
it's
clear,
but
but
clearly
we
don't
have
the
authority
under
a
rezoning
to
impose
that
requirement
unless
it
was
voluntarily
stipulated
to
by
by
the
applicant.
Is
that
your
desire?
Sir?
Yes
I.
T
B
A
A
J
Subsequently,
after
the
the
plan
unit,
development
was
Riis
owned.
The
whole
area,
as
you
could
see
on
the
graphic
in
the
brown
color,
was
rezone
from
what
it
was
at
10
units
per
acre
to
now
neighborhood
residential
15
News
breaker,
with
the
yellowish
color
rezoning
next
to
it
as
a
neighborhood
resident,
great
neighborhood
residential
ten
units
per
acre,
rezoning,
czar
appropriate
when
there's
a
change
in
circumstances
and
and
so
there's
absolutely
every
opportunity
and
right
for
the
property
owner
to
seek
a
rezoning
of
the
use
from
a
planet
development.
J
So
the
question,
then
that
you
need
to
determine
is
what
is
the
most
appropriate
zoning
classification
for
this
property
to
be
rezone
to
other
than
remove
it
when
you
remove
the
PUD
zoning
for
it.
So
when
you
look
at
when
you
look
at
the
way
this
property
sits
and
the
immediately
adjacent
zoning
to
the
north
and
west
I
think
it
becomes
immediately
obvious
as
to
what
the
appropriate
zoning
would
be.
If
you
were
to
zone
it
to
something
other
than
the
immediately
adjacent
zoning,
it
might
be
challengeable
as
inconsistent
with
the
existing
zoning.
