Your
picture
doesn't
show
right
now.
I'll
just
add
is
that
there
is
a
combination
of
the
types
of
bricks
in
there.
There
is
two
patterns
circles
of
black
bricks
that
are
made
to
resemble
the
pattern
that
you
have
currently
at
lashley
park.
So
it's
not
just
a
straight
brick,
and
I
know
this
was
taken
off
of
one
overall
sheet.
But
if
you
looked
at
the
plan
set,
you
can
see
that
a
little
bit
more
clearly.
F
B
F
A
E
A
E
A
G
Certainly
the
asphalt
during
the
summer
times
what
we
experience
with
the
heavier
vehicle,
so
it
wouldn't
just
be
fire
trucks.
It
could
be
sanitation,
it
could
be
any
heavier
vehicles
that
that
asphalt
gets
a
little
soft,
so
it
can
leave
some
marks
and
indentations
breaking.
If
it's
done
right,
you
know
they
certainly
hold
up.
So
we
can.
We
can
work
with
either
one
okay
really
won't
making
it.
What's
your
pleasure.
F
A
F
And,
like
I
said
that
that
change,
I,
don't
think,
will
be
something
that
will
help
get
heavy
review
from
the
DoD
and
it's
probably
best
handled
when
you
know
in
between
the
90
and
a
hundred
percent
reviews
and
when
I
update
the
estimate
and
there's
no
engineering
costs
associated
with
that.
So
when
I
update
the
estimates
for
the
hundred
percent
submission,
we
can
do
that.
Alternatively,
you
can
also
do
an
add
alternate
where
we
can
get
a
cost
for
that
and
then
once
you
get
the
bids
back,
you
can
choose
based
on
cost.
D
F
A
F
A
C
E
F
You
again
for
the
record:
Mike
chard
you
low
with
Wyler
engineering
I,
have
six
sheets
that
I'm
going
to
show
you
on
the
on
the
slides
here.
You
also
have
them
printed
in
front
of
you,
I'm
going
to
I'm
going
to
go
through
them
and
then
talk
about
a
couple
issues
along
the
way.
I
think
everybody's,
familiar
with
the
project
with
just
a
quick
recap.
We
have
an
existing
approximately
five
foot
wide
sidewalk
that
we
want
to
convert
and
be
more
of
a
component
of
the
multi-use
trail.
F
So
it's
consistent
with
the
other
harborwalk
sections
that
we're
doing
so.
We
want
to
lighten
that
to
about
11
foot,
clear
we're
going
to
use
the
French
curve
handrail,
which
you
see
around
the
city
there'll,
be
gravity
retaining
wall,
because
when
we
widen
we're
not
going
out
towards
the
water
instead
we're
going
towards
the
bridge,
abutments
or
widening
the
landward
of
the
existing
walk
require
replacing
the
slope
stabilization
under
the
bridge,
which
currently
is
a
concrete
riprap
bag.
F
F
This
this
first
sheet
gives
you
an
idea
of
the
concept,
the
section
that
we're
working
with
on
the
left
side
of
your
screen.
You
see
the
existing
harborwalk,
which
was
done
at
the
Punta
Gorda
waterfront
hotel
a
couple
years
back
on
the
right
side
of
the
screen.
You
see
the
parking
area
for
the
event
center
and
the
existing
harborwalk
that
they
did
so
we're
just
connecting
those
two
segments
of
harborwalk
which
are
both.
You
know
about
10
feet
wide.
As
is
with
this.
F
And
then
the
change
with
this
one
is
now
you
can
see
that
compass
rose
feature
is
now
a
full
circle
and
you
can
see
we're
clipping
about
a
45
degree.
Clip
there
to
create.
You
know
a
wider
area
for
returning
I
can
also
see
the
lighting
in
here
and
some
different
places
where
we
plan
to
have
some
lighting
a.
F
Couple
quick
sections
like
I
disgust
you
can
see
on
the
left.
That's
our
existing
section.
It's
only
about
five
feet
wide
clear
with
a
handrail
which
is
not
decorative.
What
we'll
do
is
we'll
move
a
hand
towards
the
bridge.
Abutment,
you
can
see,
there's
a
gravity
wall
that
little
concrete
triangular-shaped
object
in
the
picture
there
and
the
new
slope
stabilization.
In
order
to
achieve
that,
you
can
also
see
the
clearance
here
will
wind
up
at
the
very
least
because
the
bridge
you
know
the
bridge
is
on
a
bank
so
on
one
corner.
F
G
F
F
We
went
to
12
feet,
we
might
be
talking
about
raising
the
bridge
but
11
feet.
We're
still
all
right
right
now
we're
at
the
thirty
percent
phase,
so
I'm
looking
at
how
to
get
this
job
done
under
the
240
thousand
dollars
that
you
guys
have
budgeted
and
I
think
it's
real
doable.
There's
some
unknowns
and
I'll
discuss
those
near
in
a
second.
F
F
The
electrical
right
now
and
I
and
I
could
have
called
this
an
allowance,
but
what
we've?
What
we've
been
able
to
work
with
Charlotte
County
and
preliminary
they've,
agreed
to
allow
us
to
have
service
from
the
event
center,
and
that
may
require
some
items.
It
just
depends
on
some
load
calculations
and
different
things
that
happen
later
on.
So
we
know
we're
definitely
going
to
have
the
post
lights,
we're
going
to
have
wallpack
lights,
we're
going
to
have
bollard
light.
F
Maybe
these
things
that
sea
wall
lights
we're
going
to
have
conduits
we're
going
to
have
a
new
panel,
but
the
way
the
event
center
is
served
right
now
is
from
an
electrical
room.
That's
inside
the
event
center.
It's
actually
a
cross,
a
concrete
parking
lot
from
our
site.
So
this
is
kind
of
a
worst-case
scenario:
sort
of
number.
If
it
comes
to
it,
we
have
to
break
up
a
concrete
parking
area
to
run
new
conduits.
There's
a
few
different
things.
F
We
can
do
now,
I
we're
going
to
try
everything
we
can
to
limit
that
as
much
as
possible.
One
thing
that
may
work.
Luckily,
your
lighting
supplier
makes
a
kit
to
convert
high-pressure
sodium
lights
to
LED
and
we
have
existing
I,
think,
there's
11
or
12
on
the
event
centers
harborwalk.
So
conversion
of
that
light
might
save
some
power
and
might
give
us
the
power
that
we
need.
So
we
have.
We
have
quite
a
few
options,
but
that's
that's
more
of
a
worst
case.
F
F
They
you
know,
and
they
they
can't
I
guess,
provides
service
through
a
private
property
I'm,
not
really
sure
what
it
is.
But
but
judging
the
you
know,
I've
looked
at
it
and
if
they
were,
we
were
didn't
work
with
the
DoD
and
going
to
service
down
the
I.
Do
to
you
right
away.
It's
quite
some
distance
and
there'd,
be
a
significant
power
drop,
so
I
think,
regardless
getting
served
from
the
event
center
is
probably
the
most
cost
effective
way
to
go
really.
C
F
Just
one
more
thing
out
on
this
sheet:
I've
talked
with
some
sea
wall
contractors,
one
of
which
has
done
a
lot
of
work
within
the
city
and
looked
at
this.
You
know
we
have
some
options
on
how
to
accomplish
this,
but
I
added
45
thousand
dollars
on
for
that
clip,
which
I
think
would
cover
us.
You
know
no
matter
how
how
we
decide
to
to
go
about
it.
So
my
main
purpose
of
showing
you
this
now
consistent,
really
a
refined
cost
estimate.
F
You
know
here
at
the
thirty
percent
plan
phase
is
more
to
just
you
know.
Let
you
see
that
we
can
probably
get
this
done.
You
know
the
budget
that
you
have
and
another
item
you
know
like
I
had
mentioned.
When
we
were
talking
about
the
harborwalk,
you
can
always
do
out
alternates.
We
can
bid
this
out
with
the
alternative
of
the
sea
wall
clip
in
the
plans.
You
can
see
how
the
pricing
comes
back
and,
at
that
point,
make
the
decision
on
whether
or
not
you
want
to
actually
do
it.
F
I
don't
see
any
issues
with
with
proceeding
that
way.
Your
current
contract
with
wire
engineering
involves
the
design
portion
of
the
sea
wall
clip
and
when
I
get
to
the
next
slide,
I'll
tell
you
about
the
permitting,
which
is
a
good
position,
so
you
can
address
that
again
in
a
second.
Let
me
go
through
this
next
slide.
F
Blow
this
up
and
then
we'll
scroll
down
this
this
project,
as
I'm
sure
you
can
imagine,
has,
is
more
of
a
utility
and
regulatory
agency
coordination
issue.
You
know,
then
it
really
is
a
major
design
task.
So
you
know:
we've
been
working
very
diligently
since
we've
got
our
authorization
to
correspond
with
all
these
agencies
and
it's
often
difficult
to
get
all
the
right.
People
in
the
right
place
and
I
think
we're
on
a
good
track.
F
Right
now
we
actually
were
able
to
hold
a
pre-application
meeting
with
the
with
the
fdot
it
took
a
while
to
figure
out
who
the
right
people
were
and
then
get
them
all
in
the
same
place,
very
positive
feedback,
they'll
review
our
plans.
You
know
as
we
go,
we'll
get
a
ride
away
permit,
which
should
be
no
issue
because
we'll
have
plans
reviewed
the
only
you
know.
The
only
hurdle
here
is
that
the
seas
lease
with
them
has
expired.
F
If
the
city,
but
yes
because
the
city
doesn't
actually
own
any
property
in
this
project,
now
all
the
work
is
being
performed
on.
You
know
property
owned
by
primarily
the
do
team,
but
also
also
the
event
center.
So
they
have,
they
call
it
like
an
air
space
lease
just
physically
to
be
there.
So
we
have
to
get
that
done.
F
We
also
in
order
to
get
any
approvals
from
the
Water
Management
District
will
have
to
get
them
to
sign
off
and
I,
don't
see
an
issue
with
getting
them
to
sign
off,
so
I
think
we're
on
a
good
track
will
be
moving
towards
sixty
percent
plans,
getting
them
to
sign
off
and
then
go
into
the
water
management
district,
so
I
think
that's
all
lined
up
nicely.
At
this
point,
we've
sent
concepts
to
the
Water
Management
District.
F
They
had
free
application
meeting
and
they
have
told
us
that
the
project
is
eligible
for
an
exemption,
and
one
of
the
things
that
we
had
discussed
when
we
were
talking
about
moving
forward
was
the
kind
of
the
up
in
the
air
of
where
the
mean
high-water
line
is
on
that
little
beach
area
and
whether
or
not
encroach
the
clip.
Unfortunately,
it
does
not
so
that
that
helps
us
out
a
lot.
F
Don't
know
how
much
you
guys
know
about
the
Florida
bonnet
of
that
I'll
admit:
I
knew
next
to
nothing,
but
that
is
something
that
is
a
project.
You
know
delay
on
a
larger
projects,
primarily
in
Charlotte
County,
which
is
in
the
core
focal
area.
For
this
bat,
which
is
you
know,
on
the
federally
endangered
species
list
and
bats
like
to
hang
out
under
bridges.
F
So
we
were
very
fortunate
because
we
worked
with
them.
We
were
able
to
get
the
US
Fish
and
Wildlife
Service
to
come
out
and
look
at
the
project.
If
you've
been
out
I
guess
on
the
corner
of
the
event
center,
you
may
have
noticed
that
there
are
bats
under
the
bridge.
They
are
located
approximately
150
hundred
sixty
feet
from
our
project
site
and
there's
a
lot
of
them.
They
said
there's
at
least
a
thousand
under
there.
F
So
you
know
if
they
were
the
Florida
bond
and
bat,
we
could
have
some
problems
and
the
way
you
determine
whether
they
are
Florida
bonneted
bats
is
you
hire
somebody
who
is
some
sort
of
bats
acoustic
consultant
of
some
sort?
Those
people
exist,
I,
don't
know
where
to
find
them.
So
initially
they
said.
Well,
you
needed
to
perform
this
acoustic.
Consulting
and
I
was
really
looking
forward
to
coming
and
telling
you
all
that
we
need
more
money
for
acoustic
consulting.
Luckily,
one
of
our
engineers,
this
is
brittany.
F
Johnson
from
Wyler
engineering
was
able
to
do
what
she
could
and
she
got
that
acoustic
consulting
performed
at
no
cost
to
the
city.
Thank
you.
There
was
some
panther
people
who
were
doing
some
related
work
in
the
babcock
web
area
and
I.
Guess
you
ask
really
nicely,
but
we
were
able
to
get
that
done
and
the
acoustic
consulting
was
performed
and
they
are
not
the
Florida
bonded
bats,
so
they've
whole
circle.
On
that,
that's
something
and
keep
in
mind.
F
F
She
has
become
a
bat
expert
actually
very
recently,
but
she
is
not
the
back
insult
and
she
worked
with
the
US
Fish
and
Wildlife
people
worked
with
these
pans
and
refuge
people
and
were
able
to
get.
You
know
the
work
done
so
since
it's
not
on
the
federal
endangered
list.
The
bats
are
these
Brazilian
Freetail
bats,
which
is
a
more
common
variety
which
is
not
regulated
regulated
by
the
feds.
F
H
F
And
again
the
bats.
Luckily,
there
there
about
150
feet
away.
If
you
go
under
the
bridge,
the
the
type
of
pile
caps
that
are
there,
the
type
of
bridge
deck,
is
all
flat.
So
there's
nowhere
for
them
to
go
underneath
our
project,
you
get
150
feet
away
the
bridge,
changes
and
there's
little
cavities
and
things
for
them
to
go
under.
So
that's
that's.
Why
they're
there
well.
F
If
we've
so
we're
out
of
the
coordination
with
the
US
Fish
and
Wildlife,
we
did
the
coordination
with
the
Florida,
Fish
and
Wildlife
also
and
got
that
completed.
The
only
thing
they
have
is
that
restrictions
they
have
restrictions
to
construction
activities
during
their
maternity
season
when
they
have
the
babies
and
that's
from
April
15
to
August
fifteenth.
So
you
know
they
really
prefer
that
you
delay
construction
to
until
August.
F
F
You
just
you,
have
a
risk
if
you
construct
outside
that
time
that
somebody
comes
along
and
demonstrates
that
the
construction
activities
are
negatively
affecting
the
bats,
you
could
get
delayed,
I
think
it's
highly
unlikely,
given
the
fact
that
you
have
cars
driving
over
their
heads
right
now,
so
they're
used
to
noise.
This
is
an
abandoned
house
somewhere
that
they
exist
peacefully
and
we're
going
to
construct
right.
F
Next
to
them,
and
also
Britney
had
mentioned
to
me
that
when
she
went
out
there
and
watched
the
acoustic
consulting
that
there
was
some
some
guys
with
some
mowing
equipment
at
the
event
center,
which
is
in
much
closer
proximity
to
this
so
they're,
so
they're
used
to
the
noise,
so
I
think
it's
a
very
outside
chance
than
anything
like
that
would
happen.
I
think
it's
highly
unlikely
that
we
would
have
any
time
can
restrictions
and
I
wouldn't
recommend
you
know
intentionally
trying
to
phase
the
project
until
after
august
fifteenth.
F
For
that
reason,
on
the
last
agency
that
we
recording
with
charlotte
county
again,
this
is
this
is
because
you
know
the
project
portion
of
it
is
actually
located
on
their
property,
and
we
have
preliminary,
like
I
said
here,
agreed
with
them
to
get
service
mark
garing.
Your
city
engineer
helped
us
get
that
in
the
works
and
also
we're
going
to
have
to
rely
on
them
a
little
bit
for
access.
F
You
know
again,
you
have
no
city
property
here,
so
there's
only
a
couple
ways
that
cars
can
get,
construction
vehicles
can
get
to
the
site
mats
and
that's
one
of
them,
and
we
will
require
their
sign
off
again
because
we're
building
on
their
property
for
the
regulatory
approvals
and
we'll
continue
to
work
with
them.
They've
assigned
a
project
manager
for
us
to
work
with
on
this
as
we
move
forward
towards
6900
will
keep
them
involved
with
with
what
we're
doing
and
what
you
know,
what
the
impacts
will
be.
F
E
D
B
D
F
I
mean
you
can
always
bid
things
and
then
and
then
pull
it
out
if
you
needed
to
save
money,
so
you
get
competitive
pricing
on
that,
so
the
one
other
one
that
I
mentioned
was
like
the
inset
wall
lights,
which
really
doesn't
provide
anything
in
the
way
of
safety.
It's
more
of
an
accent,
lighting
sort
of
thing.
F
So
that's
something
that
you
know
if
if
we
looked
at
this
and
we
were
a
little
over
and
you
wanted
to
bring
it
down
a
little
bit,
there
are
some
couple
little
area,
there's
not
much
I
mean
this,
isn't
a
major!
You
know
thing
where
we've
done
a
lot
of
lot
of
frills
here
I
mean
we're.
You
know,
matching
consistency
with
the
other
stuff,
but
it's
a
you
have
some
options:
ok,.
E
E
A
B
F
Yeah
I
mean
your
post
lasers
you're,
paying
five
thousand
dollars
a
pop
for
a
post
light.
You
have
panels
electric
conduits,
you
know
you
know
the
bollard
lights
and
everything
so
and
again,
that's
that's
kind
of
a
high
side
fee
and
as
we
move
forward
towards
sixty
ninety
percent
will
have
more
refined
estimates.
F
You
know
one
thing
that
the
city
may
be
able
to
do
if
it
helps
like
I
said:
convert
converting
the
existing
high-pressure
sodium
lights,
that
the
event
center
has
to
LED
lights
would
save
them
money
for
one,
but
it
would
also
free
up
some
of
the
power
demand
for
these
lights,
so
that
may
prove
to
be
an
option
halothane
who
supplies
you
with
your
lights
and
many
of
your
your
actual
wolves
and
things.
They
sell
a
kit
for
about
300
to
400
dollars
per
light.
F
F
Yeah,
it's
I
mean
it's
one,
it's
a
considerable
distance
away.
Where
you
could
actually
get
service,
you
would
have
to
get
an
easement
through
the
d.o.t
for
that
service
and
then
you'd
have
a
large
power
drop.
You
know,
so
we
would
have
some
bigger
wires
and
different
things
that
would
drive
the
cost
of
the
location.
You
know,
despite
the
fact
that
it's
across
a
concrete
parking
lot,
the
location
of
the
event
center
power
supply.
Is,
you
know
much
closer
and
you
know
and
like
I
say
we're
just
at
the
thirty
percent
plans.
F
I
J
Good
morning,
Jason
green
from
while
our
engineering,
the
project
manager
for
the
risk
map
project,
as
you
said
earlier
in
the
meeting
very
progressive,
proactive
community,
and
that's
one
of
the
reasons
why
we're
here
there's
a
lot
of
community
across
Florida
that
are
now
going
through
this
process
and
looking
at
what
Charlotte,
County
and
putting
gorda
are
doing
and
saying.
Why
aren't
we
taking
those
steps
to
protect
ourselves
and
whether
you
know
maybe
be
surprise
to
you,
but
sometimes
the
data
that
the
federal
government
collects
isn't
actually
accurate.
J
J
But
just
the
basic
theme
is:
is
that
we're
here
to
help
you
we're
here
to
keep
an
eye
on
things
and
we're
asking
a
lot
of
questions,
we're
challenging
the
consultants
from
the
famous
side
and
making
sure
that
you're
getting
the
best
of
data
available
most
accurate
data
that
reflects
what's
going
on
in
the
community?
So
just
keep
that
in
mind
as
we
go
through
these
and
please
any
questions
would
be
happy
to
answer
a.
H
H
One
of
a
number
of
updates
will
give
you
over
the
next
couple
years,
as
we
get
started
in
this
process,
with
the
FEMA
risk
map
updates
a
little
bit
about
our
team,
we're
while
engineering
course
we
have
a
couple
of
specialized
to
subcontractors
with
us
not
here
today,
but
on
our
team
very
active
in
the
project
Tomasello
consulting
engineers,
who
is
expert
in
coastal
engineering,
modeling
and
climatological
consultants
corporation
me,
dr.
Lee
Branscombe,
whose
are
well
known
a
meteorologist
and
also
stantec
for
some
surveying
assistance.
Color
job
is
the
project
manager
at
Charlotte
County.
H
We
work
very
closely
with
Clare
and
then,
of
course,
here
Andy
Cole
at
the
city
in
developing
the
these
reviewing
these
products.
The
role
that
we
have
with
FEMA
is
like
Jason
mentioned,
essentially
we're
working
for
you
and
for
the
county
to
represent
the
local
community
interest
and
the
and
the
community
involvement
in
particularly
the
community
local
data,
a
review
process
as
we
go
through
what
FEMA
provides
as
their
their
mapping
data
and
their
risk
map
products.
H
Just
as
this
is
the
first
update,
I
wanted
to
give
you
a
quick
overview,
of
course,
with
anything
with
federal
government
you're
going
to
have
an
acronym
and
a
risk
map
is
actually
an
acronym.
It's
risk
mapping
for
flood
hazard
and
risk
identification
risk
assessment
at
the
a
for
risk,
assessment
tools
and
risk
planning
for
hazard
mitigation
planning
and
the
end
result
is
of
all
these
products
in
the
end
is
to
try
to
reduce
loss
of
life
and
property
due
to
flood
risk.
H
The
vision
of
risk
map
courses
to
deliver
quality
data,
increase
public
awareness
of
flood
risk
and
encourage
local
regional
actions
that
reduce
risk,
and,
at
this
point,
we're
really
looking
at
the
first
one,
delivering
quality
data
and,
to
some
extent,
public
awareness
as
well.
In
terms
of
the
early
stages
of
this
process,
a
little
bit
on
the
work
schedule,
the
project
work
schedule
again.
This
is
this
is
preliminary
schedule
so
and
it
does
fluctuate,
it
will
fluctuate,
but
just
to
give
you
an
idea,
the
discovery
prot,
the
planning
budgeting
was
completed.
H
Discovery
was
technically
completed,
but
based
on
some
of
our
comments
through
charlotte
county
and
city
upon
a
kurta
and
the
review
of
the
discovery
products,
we
have
brought
up
some
pretty
significant
issues
that
I
will
distress
out
that
discovery
phrase
phase
to
the
end
of
this
year.
I'll
talk
a
little
bit
more
about
the
next
phase.
Of
course,
the
date
of
Elton
and
sharing
that's
in
the
works.
H
Now
most
people
want
to
know
when
am
I
going
to
get
one
we're
going
to
see
preliminary
maps
of
new
firm
maps,
and
things
like
that
at
this
point,
there's
you're
looking
at
this
this
time
frame
here,
late,
2016
again,
this
may
be
pushed
back
a
little
bit,
but
after
that
a
lot
of
other
things
start
to
happen.
Public
outreach
risk
awareness,
outreach,
some
of
the
various
public
review
and
scrutiny
processes
start
and
due
process
and
path
forward.
H
H
So
we
need
to
look
at
this
data
and
the
preliminary
modeling
products
early
on
as
charlotte,
county
and
city
punta
gorda
has
determined,
is
necessary
and
we're
here
to
help
the
existing
staff
as
technical
experts
on
the
for
this,
for
this
review
a
couple
of
things
about
the
task
to
date.
So
far
the
data
discovery
report
report,
review,
we've
completed
that
and
I'll
go
over
a
few
comments
there.
H
The
interim
dado
submittal
number
one
and
there's
actually
five
interim
data
submittals
throughout
this
risk
map
process
and
then
a
couple
of
one
sub
tasks
that
we've
looked
at
I'll
kind
of
review:
some
findings
from
that
the
first
one,
the
discovery
comments,
the
you
may
be
familiar
with
lidar,
it's
actually
a
consolidation
of
two
words:
a
light
and
radar.
It's
a
it's!
The
way
that
survey
data
is
often
collected
now,
particularly
for
large
areas
like
Charlotte
County,
like
Southwest
Florida,
so
there's
a
digital
ovation
model
that
was
produced
in
2007
based
on
2007
lidar
data.
H
We
looked
at
a
few
examples
of
that
to
determine
how
accurately
that
really
represents
the
the
shoreline
of
Punta
Gorda
and
of
Charlotte
County,
and
you
know
it
varies,
but
it
represents
it
pretty.
Well,
in
this
case,
this
is
a
South
Gulf,
Cove
transect.
This
is
a
man,
so
Dakota
Minnesota
key
transect
in
the
top
one.
H
The
lidar
data
is
actually
about
six-tenths
of
a
foot
lower
than
the
survey
data
that
we
have
the
traditional
survey
data
and
the
bottom
one
it's
about
six-tenths
of
a
foot
higher,
so
it's
consistently
one
way
or
the
other,
but
it's
not
exactly
the
same
as
traditional
survey.
Data
that
you
know,
maybe
the
best
data
available.
But
the
key
part
of
this
that
we
were
concerned
about
is
more
the
temporal
resolution,
meaning
the
date.
H
The
data
was
acquired
because
there's
been
a
lot
of
infrastructure
developed
since
2005,
particularly
since
put
Charlie
particularly
related
to
elevation
of
roads,
hurricane
evacuation
routes
and
so
on,
particularly
in
Punta
Gorda.
Just
aqui
esta
was
a
and
Bert
store
road
I'm,
sorry,
both
of
those
elevated
and
those
are
not
going
to
be
reflected
on
your
2007
era
data.
H
So
those
things
are
critical,
a
foot
difference
here
there
can
make
a
big
difference
to
the
citizens
of
Punta,
Gorda
and
Charlotte
County,
when
the
updated,
firm,
Maps
eventually
come
from
this
review
process,
the
IDS
one
in
or
interim
data
sim
it'll
I.
This
is
just
one
example
of
some
of
the
findings,
but
the
yellow
here
represents
the
shorelines
of
Punta
order
and
you'll
notice
here
burnt,
store,
aisles
is
not
represented
a
shoreline.
There
is
no
lock
at
inverse
or
Isles.
It's
not
represented
shoreline.
H
If
you
go
over
to
this,
the
South
Gulf
Cove,
all
of
that
is
represented
as
shoreline,
but
there
is
a
lock,
so
the
type
of
inconsistencies
that,
when
you,
when
you're
mapping,
something
and
I
used
to
do
a
lot
of
mapping
from
DC,
you
end
up
with
local
data.
That's
not
incorporated
into
your
data
products.
H
These
are
the
things
that
we're
working
with
city
staff
and
with
county
staff,
to
try
to
pull
together
relevant
as
built
data
from
recent
projects
relevant
like
building
elevation
certificates
that
are
now
available
in
GIS
to
provide
to
the
survive
to
phim
of
the
FEMA
team
to
be
incorporated
into
their
modeling
database.
It
could
make
a
big
difference
down
the
road
for
the
firm
maps
and
then
the
rest
of
these
are
some
some
storm.
H
Statistics
slides,
but
essentially
another
important
thing
other
than
topographic
and
elevation
data
mesh
is
the
probability
of
of
a
storm
occurrence
and
how
the
different
storms
are
selected
to
to
rep
risk
map.
Modeling
process.
You
can
select
only
landfall
storms.
You
can
select
storms
that
generate
from
the
Gulf
and
come
in
or
generate
from
the
Atlantic
and
come
over.
H
So
how
do
they
select
those-
and
this
is
where
our
our
meteorologist
and
and
our
Tomasello
consulting
engineers
are
really
looking
closely
at
those
storm
tracks
because
of
you,
if
you're,
assuming
the
probability
of
a
high
intensity
storm
coming
from
the
Gulf,
is
lower
than
the
probability
of
high
intensity
storm
coming
from
the
Atlantic
side.
Excuse.
H
H
So
the
next
steps
we
just
recently
received
comment
FEMA's
responses
to
our
comments.
I
will
say
that
all
of
these
are
comments
from
our
review,
our
team's
review,
the
county
and
the
city's
review
and
are
all
documented
in
a
long
process,
but
involves
what's
called
a
community
disposition
form
we
review.
We
give
a
technical
response,
so
there's
a
great
deal
of
documentation
going
into
this
to
make
sure
that
FEMA
has
received
our
comments
and
then
followed,
then
follow
ups
to
make
sure
that
FEMA
integrates
our
car.
Our
comments
into,
or
data
into
the
end
result.
H
Unfortunately,
at
this
point,
the
comments
we've
got
back
from
FEMA
so
far
have
been
we're
going
to
address
that
in
ids
too,
and
that's
okay,
because
it's
still
early
on
in
the
process.
But
you
know
the
next
step
is
okay.
It's
got
to
be
an
IDs
to
or
stop
right
there
and
go
back.
You
know
community,
if
you're,
not,
if
you
don't
take
the
community
input
and
put
it
into
the
process,
then
then,
what's
the
point
of
getting
the
community
input,
so
the
other
part
is
the
the
surgeon
wave
modeling
data.
H
H
We
have
requested
that
for
review
at
this
point,
we're
going
to
be
getting
probably
20
specific
areas
that
we
request
for
data
review
and
then
we're
going
to
do
some
kind
of
a
comparison
of
what
what
the
city
and
the
county
has
in
terms
of
data
and
what
FEMA
is
using
for
their
models
and
try
to
get
a
better
assessment
of
what
data
we
still
need
to
get
and
out
a
little
bit
about
future
IDs
reviews.
There
will
be
another
on
the
IDs
to
storm
storm
surge
model
calibration
and
storm
selection.
H
That's
coming
up
there's
another
one
for
storm
surge,
runs
and
model
flood
frequency
analysis.
The
ids
for
is
near
shore.
Hydro,
hydraulics,
that's
an
important
one.
Where
you
a
lot
of
your
a
lot
of
your
wave
height
analysis
and
brake
lines
between
velocity
zones
and
and
aee
zones
are
determined.
That's
where
you
get
into
seeing
transsex
your
f
is
trans
x,
that's
going
to
be
a
real
important
one
to
evaluate
the
data
that
goes
into
that
and
then
finally,
I
ds5.
H
You
have
your
draft
flood
map
hazard
mapping
so
anyway,
we're
going
to
be
involved
through
this
process.
We're
working
closely
with
North
Randy
and
the
other
city
staff,
as
well
as
a
clear
job
and
the
county
staff,
to
make
sure
that
that
your
your
local
data
and
local
concerns
are
being
included
in
that
process.
You.
E
J
Requested
several
times
the
answer
has
been
there's
so
much
data
and
it's
billions
of
terabytes
and
all
these
other
things.
They
don't
know
how
to
transfer
the
data
to
us,
despite
that
they
transfer
it
back
and
forth
to
each
other,
so
we're
patiently
waiting
for
that
before
raising
that
issue
to
higher
level.
It's
critical
for
that
information,
because,
there's
time
after
time
with
our
sub
consultants
with
us
with
other
people
across,
say,
they've
recognized
that
data
in
the
beginning.
J
Those
assumptions
that
you
built
into
the
model-
yes,
the
model
may
be
accurate,
but
it
was
built
on
wrong
assumptions.
So
it's
local
data
and
those
assumptions
that
they're
plugging
in
it's
critical
to
get
that
because
it
can
get
completely
out
of
whack
and
show
some
crazy
things
at
the
end,
there's
been
three
four
feet:
changes
when
they've
gone
back
and
found
some
of
these
areas
in
other
places.
That
can
obviously
that
that's
not
that
always
the
case.
J
H
H
So
when
we
get
into
those,
you
know,
detail
looks
at
at
certain
areas.
At
this
point,
we
haven't
really
looked
at
certain
areas
other
than
just
the
in
the
reports
that
we've
been

The
IDS
one
report
in
the
data
discovery,
port
we've,
gotten
screenshots
and
examples
of
this
is
how
we're
doing
the
shoreline.
This
is
shoreline
here.
Well,
even
in
those
simple
examples,
like
I
demonstrated
their
we're
finding
that
there's
discrepancies
on
how
they're
handling
a
lock
versus
not
a
lock
and
canal
shoreline,
and
so
we're
real.
H
We
really
want
to
get
those
you
know
20
or
so
data
areas
to
look
at
and
then,
if
that
still
looks
to
be
an
issue
you,
you
know
we're
going
to
look
ask
that
we
can
look
a
lot
closer
and,
of
course,
this
is
all
anything
that
we
do
is
we
were
on
it
by
through
Claire
job
and
Randy.
Is
a
hey
we'd
like
to
spend
a
little
bit
of
time
on
this
or
this
to
get
to
get
the
proper?
You
know
get
a
good
answer
for,
for
you,
I'm.
E
J
We've
raised
that
question
and
because
of
the
way
the
laws
are
written,
none
of
those
projections
can
be
accounted
for
in
this.
So
really
in
it.
You
can
understand
why
they've
got
to
have
a
data
snapshot
and
start
from
there
and
then
build
everything
off
of
that,
but
that's
again
why
we
want
to
make
sure
we
want
to
make
sure
there's
not
over
estimations
or
under
estimations.
We
wanted
to
want
it
to
be
right.
It's
todd
was
mentioning
just
to
kind
of
go
back
on
that
point.
J
It's
critical
at
this
point,
partly
because
if
it
comes
to
a
point
where,
as
a
community,
you
disagree
with
certain
aspects
of
their
draft
maps,
that's
where
your
appeal
process
comes
in.
We
want
to
make
sure
that
you
are
aware
to
make
those
decisions
of
which
ones
are
worth
it,
which
ones
are
worth
the
time
and
effort
and
the
money
and
it's
more
of
a
scalpel
and
we're
cutting
out
neighborhoods
or
areas
that
we
think
are
more
affected
versus
some
that
may
be
within
you
know:
half
a
foot
or
a
couple
inches.
J
We
want
you
to
be
able
to
have
the
details
as
opposed
to
let's
just
appeal,
the
whole
map
and
then
that's
a
very
expensive
and
timely
process.
You
may
not
need
to
do
that,
so
the
goal
is
to
be
able
to
fine-tune
it,
so
you
can
make
those
fiscal
decisions
and
which
is
the
most
efficient
for
you
in
the
community,
but
as
far
as
sea
level
rise
know,
there's
a
no
component
of
that
as
part
of
this
John.
D
D
J
A
good
question
because
there's
confusion
about
how
they're
doing
the
mapping
and
what
phases
they
are,
the
digitalization
of
the
they
were
called
d
firms.
Getting
those
affirms
into
digital
format
is
what
soda
went
through
charlotte
county
has
been
through.
Lee
County
has
been
through,
Sarasota
took
seven
years,
where
the
other
counties
took
two
years
or
three
years
to
go
through
that
process.
That's
why
they're
still
going
through
that
process?
J
Several
years
from
now,
so
really
all
the
d
firm
did
was
just
trying
to
make
it
a
digital
and
update
some
of
those
high
impact
areas.
So
there's
going
to
be
another
process
to
this-
probably
seven
years
down
the
road,
but
it's
important
to
make
sure
that
this
part
is
right
because
they
do
feed
into
each
other.
It
doesn't
just
cut
off
at
the
end
of
the
Peace
River
or
east
Charlotte.
It
doesn't
just
drop
off.
You
got
to
make
sure
that
they
blend
in
well
with
each
other.
J
That's
what
we've
seen
on
some
of
these
maps
is:
there's
a
drop-off
at
a
county
line
for
some
reason.
Just
because
the
way
they
did
the
Lee
County
and
then
they
do
Charlotte
County
a
little
bit
differently,
and
you
don't
want
that
drop-off
there
shouldn't
be,
it
makes
sense.
There's
not
a
foot
difference
between
one
community
in
another
community.
B
E
K
Morning
for
the
record,
Terry
tabs
on
an
official
City
Council
had
amended
the
ordinance
regarding
water
craft
storage
to
clarify
the
watercraft
needed
to
be
stored.
Water
word
of
the
sea
wall
staff
had
received
emails
from
a
resident
who
says
he's
been
a
resident
for
over
30
years,
indicated
that
for
the
past
30
years
as
a
brought
his
boat
out
of
the
water
with
the
davits
SAT
it
on
a
wooden
cradle
in
his
rear
yard.
K
As
part
of
his
email,
he
indicated
he
would
be
out
of
town
for
a
dented
period
over
the
summer
and
had
concerns
about
leaving
the
watercraft
on
the
davits
water
side
of
the
sea
wall.
In
case
there
was
a
storm
or
inclement
weather
that
came
along,
and
he
was
looking
for
a
way
where
there
would
be
opportunity
to
get
a
permit
or
some
sort
of
temporary
approval
to
have
the
watercraft
on
the
cradle
and
tied
down.
So
that
should
bad
weather
come
through,
while
he's
out
of
town
that
the
watercraft
would
stay
put.
D
I
had
asked
that
this
report
back
to
us
and
the
reason
that
I
asked
for
it
is
I,
have
no
problem.
We
change
the
ordinance
and
I
find
with
that.
The
only
question
I
had
is
if
we
could
give
a
tie,
give
some
a
time
frame
to
some
of
these
individuals
that
they
can
possibly
go
and
get
a
lift,
built
or
arrange
for
storage
in
some
other
place.
I
just
thought
that
if
we
could
give
them
a
time
frame,
it
would
be
helpful
for
them
to
conform
to
be
the
new
ordinance.
E
C
B
A
A
L
Morning,
mark
garing
public
works
better
they're
here
to
present
our
harborwalk
design
behind
the
crab
house
marina
building.
This
is
a
project
that
came
to
us
through
the
sales
tax
and
it's
one
that
we
think
we
can
handle
in-house.
We
started
down
the
path,
but
we
did
have
to
pull
wire
in
for
a
little
bit
of
it.
We
need
a
survey
to
furnish
to
fdot.
In
this
case
again,
this
is
within,
do
tease
property.
Do
t
owns
the
property
right
up
through
our
boat
dock,
our
boat
launch.
L
L
The
five
or
seven
years,
I'm
not
sure
what
it
is,
go
a
gender
to
introduce
the
project.
What
we're
doing
is
trying
to
connect
a
part
of
the
the
harborwalk
that
requires
you
to
go
through
the
crab
house
parking
lot,
basically
to
get
from
one
part
to
the
other.
It
will
start
there
at
the
billions
there's
a
ramp
that
goes
down
to
the
boat.
Docks
that
same
ramp
will
be
used
to
get
down
to
the
harbor.
L
Walk
will
build
a
concrete
path
through
the
grass
area
behind
the
Crab
House
and
the
marina
store
and
cross
the
boat
ramp.
We've
measured
the
boat
ramp,
the
cars
and
trucks
that
launch
boats.
There
will
have
plenty
of
room
to
be
fully
in
the
water,
launching
their
boats
and
then
pull
up
and
tie
them
off
the
what
they
do
and
then
move
forward
to
the
rest
of
the
park.
So
there
will
be
some
traffic,
but
it's
not
like
the
path
will
be
closed
off
two
thirds
of
the
day,
while
people
are
moving
their
boat.
