Know
if
it
reverts
back
to
them,
it's
only
going
to
be
because
of
some
catastrophe.
You
know
financial
crisis,
I,
believe
or
something
like
that,
and
you
know,
and
in
the
big
picture
nobody
else
is
going
to
buy
it
anyway,
because
it's
all
in
the
middle
of
what
they
have
and
what
are
they
going
to
be
able
to
do
so
by
doing
that,
we're
really
like
lowering
the
price
that
we
can
or
not
I'm
going
to
have
any
competition,
because.

That
language,
that
we
had
some
discussion
on
regarding
the
no
that
one's
down
leave
just
okay
with
the
language
regarding
the
it's
in
on
page
45,
where
was
the
intent
of
the
parties?
Remember
stroke,
we
took
that
I
language,
a
low
bruh
I,
just
want
to
make
sure
that
it's
out
about
positive
that
it's
out,
so
it
would
be
in
h5
its
section
5
see
ya,
it's
my
god.

The
paragraph
looks
start
before
the
submission
of
a
building
permit
application
for
the
additional
phased
improvements.
The
city
is
planning.
An
urban
design
staff
will
review
the
proposed
additional
phased
improvements
for
consistency
with
the
intent
of
the
parties
pursuant
to
the
agreement
teeth.

Of
good
luck,
thank
you
and
again
we
do
look
for
great
things
happening
and,
as
I've
mentioned
to
other
people
who
have
talked
about
this
and
ask
questions,
you
know.
Why
are
we
doing
this?
Why
are
we
giving
quote
giving
it
away?
You
know
this
is
not
a
good
deal.
My
perspective
is
that
your
development
of
this
property
will
just
urge
other
developers
to
again
put
a
fire,
perhaps
under
them
to
get
other
things
done
in
our
city.
So
I
really
do
think
that
this
is
the
beginning
of
some
very,
very
great
things.
Thank
you.
F
B
D
E
Mayor
councilmembers,
David
and
Howard
I'm,
going
to
start
by
thanking
the
council
for
their
very,
very
strong
support
of
the
project
and
the
staff
for
their
extraordinary
expertise
and
diligence
in
pursuing
all
of
the
technical
aspects
of
this
project.
Most
of
you
are
familiar
with
it
and
familiar
with
the
purse.
The
purpose
in
order
to
save
time,
I
would
like
to
just
bring
you
up
to
date
and
allow
you
to
ask
questions
as
of
right
now.
L
It's
a
half-scale,
fifty
percent
scale
half
the
size,
but
we
are
carrying
forth
the
the
lighting
concept
that
they
have
the
angles
and
the
slopes
that
they
have
in
Washington
DC.
All
of
the
other
Vietnam
walls
that
we've
seen
traveling
around
and
have
been
built
in
other
places,
they're,
basically
a
triangle
wall
with
names
on
it
and
that's
about
as
close
as
they
are
to
what
they
have
in
Washington
DC.
L
Ours
is
matching
it
almost
to
the
tee
we're
negotiating
right
now
with
the
same
company
that
built
the
lighting
for
for
Washington
DC,
whether
or
not
they
can
supply
us
with
lighting.
It's
a
very
fancy
light
that
has
a
bezel
on
it
that
actually
shines
just
on
the
wall
and
nowhere
else
we're
seeing
a
thing
come
up
with
something.
That's
in
our
price
range.
The
the
lighting
for
Vietnam
in
DC
was
over
a
million
dollars,
so
we're.
L
Close
to
what
we
need
brazen
down
at
a
different
scale
and
our
sidewalk
will
be
pavers
and
not
granted
like
like
in
Washington
DC,
but
it'll
have
the
same
effect
same
coloring
and
that
sort
of
thing
Joan
is
here
to
talk
about
the
landscaping.
I
see,
that's
probably
a
more
interest,
everybody
can
kind
of
visualize
the
wall,
but
she
can
tell
us
what
we're
going
to
do
there
for
landscaping.
If
you
want
to
get
into
that,
okay.
D
D
E
It
is
not
there
was.
It
was
basically
unfortunate
because
a
group
of
people
sort
of
assumed
we
were
going
to
get
a
15
or
a
five-million-dollar
ball
for
85
thousand
dollars
and
didn't
realize
we
were
giving
up
something
in
that
process
and
it
just
it
escaped.
And
furthermore,
as
you
know,
we
originally
had
we're
working
with
eagle
granite
and
the
person
who
brokered
the
deal
left
and
then
Eagle
refused
to
honor
that
commitment.
E
So
we
went
with
another
company
which
was
a
bit
more
expensive,
but
but
still
in
the
ballpark
of
what
we
thought
we
could
do
and
again
assumptions
were
made
by
a
group
of
people
that
you
know
everything
would
be
like
they
saw
before
and,
of
course,
I
realized.
We
were
giving
things
up
and
at
the
last
second
other
people
didn't.
So
that's
where
we
are
right
now
and
as
of
this
morning,
we're
working
with
seeing
our
graphics
to.
E
G
You,
yes,
yes,
so
the
process
as
a
general
was
explaining
as
a
process
was
developing
it
was.
It
was
came
to
light
that
the
rubbings,
which
so
many
of
the
veterans
think
are
very
important
when
they,
when
you
go
to
the
wall,
they
what
they
want
to
be
able
to
think
of
rubbing
and
the
the
etched
ran.
It
doesn't
give
off
the
same
type
of
rubbing
on
the
paper
that
they
had
anticipated.
G
So
they're,
exploring
a
different
type
of
paper
which,
if
used
on
H
granite,
will
give
that
rubbed
effect,
and
if
that
doesn't
work,
then
there
may
be
some
consideration
to
spending.
Stop
me
if
I'm
wrong
spending
some
we're
trying
to
raise
some
more
money
to
go
to
an
engraved
wool
rather
than
in
vegetable,
so
I
think
that's
will
be
kind
of
all
right
now
is
that
correct
general?
We.
H
D
H
E
You
very
much
I
I
personally
feel
that,
first
of
all
in
at
the
Punta
Gorda
wall,
you
have
to
have
a
smartphone
to
find
the
name.
We
don't
plan
on
a
kiosk
or
a
computer
graphics
screen
there
and
I
must
agree
with
you
Nancy
that
in
this
day
and
age,
probably
people
might
rather
have
a
picture
than
an
actual
rubbing,
because
then
you
could
send
it
to
your
friends,
family
relatives
whomever
well.
H
Looking
through
all
the
plans
and
I
noticed
all
of
the
material
that
the
materials
that
you
have
around,
but
I
didn't
notice
any
trees
and
one
of
the
things
that
people
talk
about.
It's
a
lack
of
shade
and
I
didn't
know
if
there
were
things
that,
because
the
wood
structure,
if
that
would
have
any
impact
on
the
wall
itself,
so
we
couldn't
ER.
M
For
the
record
John
the
bow
urban
design,
we
did
discuss
that
and
the
original
wall
we
wanted
to
maintain
that
reference
II
for
the
wall.
So
no
trees
are
on
the
wall
in
in
Washington.
They
are
behind
it
farther
further
away.
So
we
maintain
that
same
level.
We
will
be
adding
additional
trees
in
the
park
as
time
continues,
possibly
through
the
Arbor
Day
program,
or
something
like
that.
But
there
are
trees
planned
for
the
section
over
by
one
of
the
plaza
areas
and
then
we'll
add.
M
G
Like
to
say,
we've
come
a
long
way
from
a
little
over
a
year
and
a
half
ago,
when
we
were
talking
about
the
concept
of
accepting
a
tired
old
traveling
metal
wall
that
could
have
appeared,
and,
lastly,
I
just
want
to
compliment
everybody.
That's
has
been
involved
with
if
the
fundraising
efforts,
our
city
council's
efforts,
terrific
job
and
we'll
say
its
own.
M
L
Caring
the
cost
estimate
for
the
landscaping
and
the
irrigation
is
in
the
proposal
that
we've
given
with
our
cost
estimate.
Okay,
it's
a
we've
taken
the
project
on
that
everything
on
the
far
side
of
the
pond,
which
is
the
wall,
everything
that
needs
to
be
changed.
There
is
on
the
committee
to
to
pay
for
okay.
The
only
thing
that
we've
dedicated
from
the
city
here
is:
is
our
staff
time
and
designing
it
and
giving
them
guidance,
something.
D
E
D
K
Good
morning
my
name
is
Bob
Armstrong
I'm,
a
resident
of
about
bird
store
aisles
been
a
full-time
resident
of
that
community
for
over
the
last
25
years,
and
I
am
currently
the
co-chairman
of
the
team
punta
gorda
bicycle
friendly
committee.
We're
here
today
to
make
two
presentations.
I
will
do
the
first
part
and
talk
about
some
amenities.
K
K
K
Our
committee,
the
bicycle
friendly
committee
of
team
Punta
Gorda,
was
organized
to
do
two
things:
one
to
help
punta
gorda
become
a
more
bicycle-friendly
community,
as
the
title
entails,
and
also
to
assess
the
city
of
punta
gorda
and
achieving
the
League
of
American
Bicyclists
bicycle
friendly
community
designation.
As
you're
probably
aware,
the
city
has
applied
for
this
designation
twice
over
the
last
eight
years
and
has
not
received
the
designation.
They
have
received
a
honorable
mention
and
we
want
to
encourage
and
support
their
efforts
to
receive
this
designation.
K
K
The
fire
department,
which
has
a
medics
on
bikes
program,
the
city
or
the
county
health
department,
is
involved.
The
Metropolitan
Planning
Organization
is
represented
in
the
school
district,
as
well
as
the
bicycle
club,
the
Peace
River
riders,
yakima
bike
shop
and
individual
community
members.
We
meet
once
a
month
at
the
flash
League
community
room
if
you're
all
invited
they're
open
meetings
there
on
the
second
monday
of
every
month
to
three
o'clock
we
have
upwards
to
in
this
in
this
season.
K
Over
30
members
that
attend
these
meetings
and
you're
all
invited
to
attend
here
is
a
Wayfinder
sign
that
we're
proposing
right
now
with
we.
What
would
like
to
put
two
new
signs
on
the
east
and
west
ends
of
the
harborwalk?
The
Heart
Walk
runs
along
the
the
river.
It
is
about
two
miles
in
length.
The
East
End
would
be
down
by
the
hospital,
and
the
West
End
would
be
the
intersection
of
the
harbor
walk
in
linear
park.
Those
would
be
to
new
of
a
Wayfinder
science.
K
K
That
is
a
map
of
that
the
graphic
designer
has
laid
it
out
in
kind
of
a
subway
format.
You
can
see
the
top
of
it
is
where
it
ends
at
the
the
medical
center.
The
blue
line
comes
down.
That's
the
harborwalk
connects
with
the
yellow
line
there,
which
is
the
linear
park,
and
off
of
that
is
the
shreve
street
mert,
which
connects
over
at
41
with
the
41
mert,
which
sentence
for
miles
southward
along
41
to
the
end
of
the
city
property,
which
is
approximately
on
the
intersection
of
taylor,
road
and
41.
K
K
K
Okay,
I
guess
that
pretty
much
it
it
is
fully
funded.
We
have
received
a
grant
from
the
Charlotte
community
foundation
the
cover
the
cost
of
it
it.
The
grant
is
for
information,
safety,
bicycle
safety,
education.
It
covers
two
items,
one
the
signage
and
also
a
website
which
we
are
in
the
process
of
bringing
online
that
should
be
up
in
the
next
couple
months.
The
signs
not
only
show
the
roots,
but
it
offers
also
references
the
website
so
that
people
can
get
more
information
about
bicycle
safety
and
other
additional
routes
which
are
available
in
community.
K
D
I,
just
think
that
the
signage
is
wonderful
and
want
to
thank
the
committee's
and
all
the
individuals
that
involved.
This
looks
very
much
like
what
we
see
in
other
cities
in
terms
of
wayfinding,
my
only
and
again
looking
at
where
the
placements
are.
It
would
be
nice
to
have
a
sign
sort
of
around
Gilchrist
park
so
that
people
would
also
see
it
who
just
go
to
the
park
there,
but
perhaps
that
might
come
in
the
future.
Personally.
K
K
K
C
K
J
D
G
D
K
K
D
D
K
K
It
does
have
a
flag
on
the
side
of
it.
The
post,
I
guess
I.
Don't
have
that
with
me
now,
but
it
does.
They
share
the
lane,
which
is
the
theme
of
the
the
whole
project
and
the
website.
It
is
bicycle
oriented.
It
will
have
education
and
safety
regulations
on
there,
but
we
will
take
your
your
suggestions
under
advisement.
D
One
of
the
things
that
this
map
does
and
I
think
for
our
entire
city
is
that
it
provides
also
a
walking
map,
so
I
appreciate
that
it's
coming
from
the
bicycle
friendly
community,
but
at
the
same
time
we're
looking
at
walkers
were
looking
at
bicycles,
we're
looking
at
runners
for
looking
at
people
that
just
want
to
enjoy
the
pathway
so
and
I
appreciate
it's
coming
from
the
bicycle
community.
But
I
do
hope
that
we
kind
of
look
at
it
more
broadly,
since
we
would
like
maybe
using
the
similar
kind
of
style
around
our
community
Nancy.
G
K
K
C
N
G
N
N
They
will
focus
on
environmental
and
conservation
messages
related
to
the
charlotte
harbor
and
the
estuary,
and
they
will
be
supplemented
by
monthly
talks
by
the
charlotte
harbor
environmental
center,
and
that
will
focus
on
ways
that
you,
how
answer
questions
about
the
estuary
get
the
public
more
aware
of
the
estuary
in
ways
that
they
can
actually
support
and
preserve
their
harbor,
which
is
a
great
natural
resource
for
us.
We
are
applying
to
the
charlotte
harbor
national
estuary
program
for
a
grant
to
fund
three
signs
at
this
point
in
time
which
we're
labeling
us
phase.
N
One
of
the
project,
also
the
Nature
Conservancy,
has
come
to
the
city
and
asked
to
install
a
sign
that
would
be
focusing
on
the
value
of
the
oysters
as
a
filtering
system
and
possibly
mangroves.
So
this,
even
though
they're
separately
funded,
will
be
coordinating
with
them
and
their
sign
would
be
installed
in
the
area
kind
of
near
their
current
oyster
reef
project
err.
N
This
is
a
collaborative
project.
Team
category
is
going
to
manage
the
project,
but
the
environmental
center
will
be
actually
developing
the
messaging
and
the
graphics
that
would
go
on
each
sign
and
obviously
developing
the
talks
and
conducting
the
talks
each
month.
The
estuary
program
would
approve
the
messages
that
would
go
on
to
the
signs
and
we've
already
been
working
very
closely
with
the
design
studio
on
the
proper
design,
ensuring
that
it
conforms
to
the
city,
approvals,
etc.
N
The
signs
will
conform
to
your
approved
city
standard
for
an
interpretive
sign.
This
is
the
example
of
interpretive
sign
here.
This
one
is
obviously
historical
in
nature,
but
ours
finds
would
be
similar
with
graphics
in
the
messaging
would
be
related
to
conservation
and
in
case
you're
not
familiar.
These
signs
are
not
hi.
There
they're
lower
there
like
what
three
feet
tall
they're
at
a
45-degree
angle,
and
they
really
allow
I
guess
for
a
wheelchair,
handicapped
access
from
that
standpoint.
D
N
Is
this
is
all
from
there
you're
approved
standards
that
we're
back
from
what
2,000
whatever
so
these
are.
These
will
be
followed
to
and
that's
what
we
have
gotten
the
estimate
based
on
and
they'll,
be
in
case.
You
weren't
everybody's
wondering
well
what
types
and
messages
would
we
be
putting
on
there?
This
is
just
an
example
of
what
might
be
on
there.
N
Certainly
not
Tom
and
his
staff
would
be
developing
like
a
story
line,
and
then
we
would
be
developing
each
sign
which
what
would
be
appropriate
in
that
storyline
and
be
supported
by
graphics,
I,
Thomas,
I,
don't
know
if
you'd
like
to
talk
about
signs
in
just
to
talk
about
you
know.
What's
normal,
you
don't
put
a
lot
of
yep.
O
Basically,
the
the
signs.
Oddly
enough,
you
try
to
limit
to
around
35
words.
People
cannot
remember
five
things
per
visit
and
then
typically
signs
are
written
at
the
sixth
grade
level.
I
don't
have
to
Charlotte
sons
about
this.
What
level
you
guys
happen
it's
much
lower
than
you
realize,
and
so
it's
going
to
be
quick
and
easy.
If
they're
too
much,
you
see
people
using
their
phones
to
take
pictures
and
they
hope
to
read
it
later,
and
we
know
we
never
read
those
later.
So
it's
going
to
be
fun
and
we.
N
D
N
K
D
D
N
N
Obviously,
as
the
messages
are
developed
and
the
graphics
are
chosen,
we'll
come
back
with
specific
locations
and
recommendations
and
then
come
back
to
you
with
those
at
that
point
in
time,
but
obviously
we'd
like
to
have
a
Vista
and
you'd
like
to
have
enough
room
that
someone
can
step
off
the
the
pathway
and
read
the
sign
and
etc.
That's
our
hope.
In
that
perspective,.
N
We
just
have
a
timeline.
The
grant
is
due
to
the
National
estuary
program
this
month.
They
should
be
announcing
awards
in
November
and
as
soon
as
we
get
hopefully
a
positive
nod
from
then
we'll
be
starting
the
project
we
hope
to
be
coming
back
to
you
no
later
than
April,
with
a
final
design,
Allah
recommendation
of
installation
locations.
We
have
a
ribbon-cutting
here
in
July
we'd
love
to
move
that
up,
but
I
just
don't
know
if
it's
possible.
N
C
M
M
C
And
then
my
other
question
piggybacking
on
the
pathway
signs.
How
many
logos
I
mean
we
are
we
I'm
guessing
that
the
pathway
signs,
the
logos
were
supposed
to
be
on
there
because
they've
been
funded
by
and
that
may
have
been
one
of
the
criteria
for
the
grant
so
I'm
just
I
just
want
to
know,
are
we
gonna
have
like
Jeanette
and
check
and
how
many
look?
Yes,
we.
N
O
C
N
D
P
D
H
D
H
Yeah,
this
is
a
wonderful
project.
It's
been
part
of
the
vision
that
I
think
we've
had
for
quite
a
long
time
of
helping
educate
the
community
about
about
the
harbor
and
knowing
that
the
where
the
funding
is
coming
from
these
are
not
historical
markers.
But
in
your
presentation
you
mentioned
history,
so
I
know
that
the
Punta,
Gorda,
History,
Center
I'm
sure
would
be
glad
to
work
with
you
if
you
have
any
need
for
historical
information,
but
having
worked
with
ch
IEP
in
the
past
when
they
find
something.
N
Yes,
I
mean
we're
hoping
in
another
phase
that
that
some
historically
oriented
signs
may
be
a
part
of
that
inappropriate
areas,
but
obviously
this
first
one
would
be
conservation
or
you
mean
there's
lots
of
history
to
tell
Harper
as
well
exactly
I,
agree,
I
and
I
think
it
would.
It
would
be
nice
to
mix
it
up
so
that
it's
not
all
I
know
that
fisherman's
village.
G
D
K
K
K
In
addition,
but
I
also
mentioned
I
wanted
to
mention
was
that
both
team
punta
gorda
and
the
bicycle
coordinator
for
the
city
will
be
presenting
to
the
city
council
plans
for
achieving
the
League
of
American
Bicyclists
designation
next
month.
So
we
will
have
some
ideas
for
you
to
consider
at
that
time.
Thank
you.
D
K
K
P
D
H
Oh
yeah,
the
I
think
it
puts
up,
it,
says,
share
the
lane
and
that's
what
we're
trying
to
drive.
We
get
emails
from
people,
we
get
emails
from
pedestrian
and
pedestrians
and
cyclists
that
complain
about
each
other
and
what
we
need
to
do
is
educate
people
on
how
how
we
should
work
interact
together
on
the
harborwalk
and
on
our
pathways
and
that's
what
this
does.
